TELEMUNDO Y MÁS (#2): Sed de Venganza, La Familia y más: Week of December 2, 2024
Here's Page 2 for the week. The current telenovelas are as follows (all times are Eastern Standard Time):
9 - 10PM - Sed de Venganza**
10 - 11PM - La Familia
**Just a heads-up: Apparently Sed de Venganza will end this Friday, December 6. According to Zap2It, next Monday (Dec. 9) Los 50 will run from 7-10 pm, and on Tuesday, Dec. 10, a new series of Exatlón will start with a 3-hour segment (7-10 pm) and then run in the 9 pm time slot. Since Telemundo's online program guide doesn't provide any information at this point for the following week, I can't confirm Zap2It's listing.
Everyone is welcome to join in the conversation. Since discussions of all the novelas share the same page, please remember to put the name of the telenovela you're referring to at the top of your post, so readers can easily find the conversations they're looking for.
By common agreement, this group DOES NOT discuss previews, trailers, or any other plot information not found in a current or past episode of the current production. Spoilers WILL be removed by the admin. This includes reference to earlier productions of the story, and even the original novel. Thanks for your cooperation!

Muchas gracias, Niecie and novelera, for your interesting comments. Niecie, I too wonder what the point is of having the Soykan's estate filled with termites. I'm thinking perhaps it suggests something unpleasant and destructive, like the Soykan family history.
And yes, novelera, thanks for reminding me of what I, like you, saw at the shoot-out. Ilyas certainly seemed to have been shot in the chest. Indeed, I remember feeling great relief, since the location of the shot certainly seemed to indicate he was done for. But he seemed just fine when we see him lying calmly in bed. ????
My caption problem for the 10PM showing seems to have fixed itself. I had set up an automatic recording of the 7PM showing on Telemundo East, which I get on DirecTV because captions were OK for that one. But, for some reason, the screen looks letterboxed, which a black border on all four sides. So now I can see the full-sized showing, with OK captions for the 10PM local TV channel. Fingers crossed.
Good news for me if there are only 2 more episodes! Yay. I guess I will do them as much justice as possible.
Fernanda tells Alfredo about Moni's "transgression". He can't believe it.
Sebastian is calling Moni but she isn't answering.
Gabriel tells Brenda he can't leave to work for her father at this time, his dad needs him.
Elisa is playing nursemaid to Roberto who actually isn't milking it and wants her to leave.
Days later...Emilio/ Francisco is at the rehab place with Ana. I think she says that she will be released tomorrow. She is afraid to go home. He reminds her that Elisa will be at her side. Ana asks about Elisa's husband. She is taking care of him. They operate tomorrow ( I guess he wasn't faking it and he has cancer). Ana wonders if they will reconcile. Francisco says no, she has a heart of gold, as you know, and is caring for him at his time of need.
Tania is with Elisa at the hospital. Elisa is worried for Roberto, he is so young ( fortunately one can live with only 1 kidney). Tania points out cancer can happen to anyone of any age.
Lawyers meet with Alfredo Gabriel, Fernanda. The will is legitimate. Good news, Eugenio is not your half brother.
Eugenio is not happy when he is given the news at Adelberto's house.
Sebastian still hasn't reached Moni ( we see her waiting tables back in Cambridge). He is telling the idiot Alonso this. Alonso tells him to forget about her, get an annulment. He says no, not without talking to her and finding out what happened to make her run off. Alonso is not happy to hear that.
Back and forth scenes between the two not half brothers and the lawyers. Alfredo sticks to the story my father was senile and Eugenio's mother somehow got him to sign the will. And Eugenio's lawyer says you may not be related to Alfredo but you could still be the son of Alfonso (the elder). Ooh, I called that possiblity.
Elisa and Tania, in the waiting room, discuss Moni. Elisa is sure Moni would never willingly sleep with Alonso. Tania agrees, the only ones dumb enough to do that are herself, and Brenda. I think Elisa tells Tania if only she had denounced Alonso (and Brenda) none of this would have happened. Not sure I got that correct in the translation.
I'm not following all the conversation between Alonso and Sebastian. I did catch that Sebastian is going to Cambridge to find her. Alonso doesn't want that.
Francisco is telling Ana going back home will be difficult. Her family is complicated. She knows. She can't forgive them for putting her in the clinic for ten years and forgetting about her. And not being willing to pay for her rescue from the "kidnappers" that weren't.
Elisa wants to denounce Alonso to Sebastian but Moni asked her not to. Tania takes Moni's side in this. Not everyone is as brave as you, Elisa. Alonso will get what's coming to him. Elisa isn't so sure if that.
Claudia trash talks Erika to Fermin who doesn't like her talking about her like that. They are worried about her. Claudia says she enjoys meddling in her and Pati's lives. Looks like Claudia is still working as a waitress at Miguel's bar ( and more, probably).
Fernanda is working pati to get information about Ana. Continue making Alfredo happy. Pati insinuates that she makes him so happy that when they divorce she will occupy her seat.
Francisco is counseling Ana to return home via taxi and draw her own conclusions about Fernanda. She has his number. She hopes some day his eyes will be opened to Fernanda. She is convinced Fern is the cause of all their problems.
Gabriel is sick about Alonso and Brenda. Daddy dearest tells him it is his fault. A young beautiful woman needs feliz de papa, and if papa is absent she looks in other places. He tells him you need to remain with Brenda.
Adelberto' and Eugenio talk business which i didn't understand.
Fernanda tells Pati she can't wait to divorce and move far away.
Claudia calls Moni and tells her to come back and denounce Alonso, she will help her.
Emilio goes to the hospital to check on Roberto. Tania tells him they removed a kidney which hopefully means he will be ok.
Elisa asks Roberto how he feels. He complains he lost a kidney, if the other fails... He then says she is the only thing that is important to him. She says she will help him through his recovery. He tries to get her to promise to not leave him. She just wants him to get well. She will stay with him at his apartment but sleep on the couch. But the bed is big and we are still married. Elisa draws her hands away from his.
Tania talks with Emilio some more. She says Elisa will care for Roberto because of the good person she is. Emilio thinks she must be returning to him. Tania says no. She is in love with someone from her past. She is upset though because he returned but didn't try to find her.
Fernanda meets with Eugenio on a dock. He misses her passion, etc. he tries to weave her back under his spell. She is mad that she did horrible things because of him. Once again, I almost feel sorry for her. Eugenio is going to demand the exhumation of Alfonso, his supposed father. Sebastian tracks Moni down at work in Cambridge. The boss gave him permission to talk with her. He wonders why she ran off when he was in LA. She asks, you don't know?
Well Alfredo actually earns some points. He tells Alonso he knows what he did to Moni and Brenda. He claims they wanted it. Alfredo says is their no line you won't cross. Your brother does not agree. And he smacks him in the back of the head.
Tania tells Roberto to let Elisa leave, don't be selfish.
Sebastian wants to talk with Moni calmly after work.
Erika and Claudia talk. I think about Ana returning. Then Erika mentions that Claudia working nights isn't good for her health. Claudia actually stops and thinks about that.
Alfredo tells Alonso his brothers will never forgive him. Alonso doesn't care. Alfredo tells him he is the son no father ever wants to acknowledge.
Fern visits Roberto in the hospital. She tells him to reel Elisa back in, milk this recuperation for all it's worth. He doesn't seem as enamored of her as he has been in the past.
Elisa tells Tania she going back to their place to change clothes and returning to the hospital to stay with Roberto. Tania tells her the nurses are there to care for him, she isn't needed. When Emilio looked at you in the hall earlier....don't lose that possible relationship.
Sebastian asks Moni why she left. She says Fernanda made life hell ( my words). Then Sebastian asks if there was a pr6with Alonso. She says nothing to that question. He asks if she lives him, yes, always. He says return with new, well get a place far from them ( I thought he was willing to move back to Cambridge before he went to LA. He's not sticking to that deal.) It looks like their old apartment in Cambridge. A foosball table and motorcycle are in the warehouse style flat).
Manuel is back in town. He asks Francisco about Fernanda. He says she told him about her past. He feels this overwhelming need to protect and care for her after learning about what she endured.
Fern tells murna she is lost in love for Emilio. She thinks he's in love with her back.
Manuel, ever the voice of reason, is sceptical. Francisco says she told him about the bad things she did, but she isn't an assassin. Manuel asks, what about Elisa, are you just going to forget about her? Francisco says he lives her but all that he can think about is Fernanda in his head. (This guy dies not deserve an HEA. Elisa doesn't deserve this idiot!). Manuel tells him he is crazy.
Back in Cambridge oni and Sebastian share a bed fully dressed. She replays past conversations in her mind.
Erika and Erika are at the school. Ana arrives. Elisa is happy to see her and gives her a hug. Elisa had been so worried. Where has she been. Ana says a kind man got her help. He was an angel to me. Elisa would have helped her. Ana says she was in a bad place, spent a lot of time at a clinic. Now she is better. It was so hard to beat 20 years of drug addiction. It was a nightmare. Elisa wonders how she got her number, and that she could be found at the school. She says she went to Erika who told her. She wanted to surprise Elisa.
Adelberto and his wife argue and she threatens divorce again.
Looks like the exhumation will occur. Eugenio and Alfredo insult each other's mothers and nearly come to blows.
Ana is sad nobody visited her in the ten years. Elisa says it was too sad, she was comatose in the bed. The Dr. Told them the drugs damaged your brain. What about mama. Why didn't she come?
Another disappointing scene between Manuel and Francisco. I don't even feel like recapping it .
More fighting between Brenda's parents. Adelberto doesn't want to be the one to leave his house.
Del Pino's are discussing the exhumation which will occur. Elisa arrives with Ana. Fern is impacted.
#30
Where to start? We go from Aslan promising Devin a better life (for all 3 of them) to complete and utter chaos and ruin. This deserves a full recap, but I’m not doing one.
We start with Aslan telling Devin they’re beginning over, perhaps even leaving Istanbul. He intuits that he’s expecting a daughter. We get another selfie, like that one long ago.
Ibo tells Hulya he’s moving in.
We get a lot of male barbering in preparation for the engagement party for Eko and Yagmur. It’s a happy scene, except for when Tolga arrives. Aslan gives Tolga three choices: death, prison, or divorce. He agrees to the divorce. And then promptly turns his coat to Team Ilyas.
Cihan comes for therapy, saying all is well because they aren’t really family anymore. He gets violent but ends up giving her the booties Seher knitted for his child.
Salih breaks Cihan’s car window and puts in some paper and a USB.
Aslan comes to put pressure on Ergun to come to Yagmur’s ceremony, something about showing up at his hospital. This turns out to have been a mistake.
The party starts. Ergun gets drunk, ruining everything. Hulya is there but looking like she has sucked lemons.
Eko loses all of my sympathies. His parents haven’t shown; Viewerville thinks they’re late. But they heard about Yagmur. Eko won’t marry her without their approval.
Unbelievable! Ilyas had the foresight to record a remorseful Yusuf confessing to killing Cihan’s biological mother. Cihan watches this scene and gets a murderous look in his eye. [Let’s face it; he was never a poster boy for mental health.]
Back to the disastrous engagement party. Hulya goes off on a patio. She tells Aslan everything in the world, maybe global warming, is Devin’s fault. She rants that SHE’S his family. Devin appears. Hulya burns everything down, telling Aslan about Devin seeing Cihan for therapy (except the part about her instigating the whole thing).
Aslan’s good sense goes out the window. Completely irrational, he calls Cihan. Cihan says he’ll meet him at the house.
Tolga gives Salih a code to the house’s security.
The “brothers” have an insane fight. Ilyas gets to watch the whole thing somehow (Tolga?). Yusuf’s portrait is knocked off the wall as they fight.
Cihan tells Aslan what happened to his bio parents and shoots Aslan (in the shoulder, I think; Aslan has magical galán protection). Aslan says that one can enter this family but never can leave. Cihan says that he’ll kill Aslan and then himself. Devin shows up and shoots Cihan. Not sure if Cihan survives.
Dark, very dark.
Kat in SC: Thanks for the recap of last night's episode. My personal thoughts:
142.) Alfredo & Eugenio are still brothers: Daddy del Pino is Eugenio's father in my personal opinion.
143.) Sebastian isn't dumb because I think he's going to figure out that Monica was drugged & raped by Slick Alonso.
144.) Alfredo scolding Alonso over sleeping with both Brenda & Monica. Yet, Alonso doesn't give a shit. I agree with you that I do NOT see Alonso getting his Karma yet, maybe until Summer 2025 (if this Telenovela drags out this long).
145.) I still think Mooching Roberto is faking it. He's still determined to keeping Elisa & the del Pino money by any means necessary. How come we never seen his family members yet ?
146.) Marcelo is right: Francisco is NUTS & stupid enough to keep falling for Crazy Goldie Locks.
147.) Wake me up when Claudia turns into a drug addict or ends up dead, because at this point, I am sick of seeing her annoying ass.
148.) Patty: I don't like you either. Nosy & annoying. Sooner or later, it's going to get you either fired from your job or killed.
149.) Eugenio still stirring the pot. I wonder how long before he finds out that Emilio Montenegro is really Francisco Ramirez ?
150.) More nagging between Daddy & Mommy Ferrero: Fast Forward.
151.) Tania still the BFF of Gullible Elisa. Let's see if she & Marcelo end up together in the end.
152.) Ana going back to the del Pino family mansion is a HORRIBLE idea. Francisco is getting on my damn nerves: putting Ana in the crosshairs of Crazy Goldie Locks, who will be hell-bent on killing her or having Alfredo sending her back to the so-called clinic of horrors.
153.) Only character I'm personally interested in is Ana & that's it.
154.) Mirna & Goldie Locks having their Dr. Phil meeting sessions LOL.
Eugenio & Alfredo insulting their respective deceased mothers LOL. Really? Is that the best you scumbags can do? I need to see some flashbacks of the backstories of young Alfredo & young Eugenio because there's got to be a reason why Eugenio is determined to destroy the entire del Pino family.
Thanks, novelera, for the recap. I agree the fight between the brothers was insane. Why did Aslan get so crazy over Cihan seeing Devlin for therapy? They weren't having an affair, for heaven's sake!
Cihan looks like he could turn into
the Hulk when he gets really mad. Scary.
So foreseeable that Tolga would betray the family after Aslan told him to get lost. Aslan is too smart to not think about that.
Devlin is truly part of the family now. She got sucked in.
Hard to see Aslan alive at the end. He's killed too many people.
Every time he talks about leaving it all behind I get a knot in my stomach. The pictures he and Devlin took as a family of 3 reinforced my fears that they won't survive.
Fasten your seatbelts!
Beth S
Juanita: I'm assuming they're going to bring this Telenovela back in the Spring of 2025 ? 🤔
Gracias, Novelera. Your summary packed quite a punch. I'm amazed how you captured all the crazy and emotion so quickly. "[Let’s face it; he (Cihan) was never a poster boy for mental health.]" -- Iol. " Hulya burns everything down..." -- yes indeed.
I'm not surprised Cihan and Aslan went crazy violent on each other, but at first they're not even on the same page. Cihan is enraged he was raised by folks who murdered his parents, while Aslan is outraged about Devin's secret therapy and has no clue about Yusuf killing Cihan's parents. I'm glad at least the truth comes out about Yusuf before Cihan shoots Aslan.
Poor Devin has paid a terrible price for her silence.
Eco breaks up with his fiancé in the middle of their engagement party? Pitiful. He can commit murder to protect Yagmur but can't stand up to his parents. When the dizi started, he seemed to have dreams of becoming a writer. He should go back to that.
Thanks very much, novelera, for this excellent account of last night's very grim episode. You say regretfully that the episode deserves a full recap. I don't agree. A full recap would give this bizarre episode more attention than it deserves. Your account told us what we needed to know and didn't ask us to wallow in the craziness any longer than necessary.
I especially admire the conciseness with which you describe the scene where Aslan shaves Tolga.
I loved your describing Hulya at the engagement party as "looking like she has sucked lemons." YES! (Actually, that phrase could be said to describe how she often looks.)
I also enjoyed your parenthetical remark in describing one of Cihan's bouts of lunacy: "[Let's face it: he was never a poster boy for mental health.]" And this was followed in the next paragraphy by your reporting that Hulya tells Aslan that "everything in the world, [perhaps even] global warming," is Devin's fault. And, of course, Hulya's rant culminates in her revealing that Cihan was seeing Devin for therapy "(except the part about [Hulya] instigating the whole thing)".
I'm still scratching my head over what you rightly describe as the "insane fight" between Cihan and Aslan. Cihan has learned about the circumstances surrounding his parents' deaths, but none of that was Aslan's fault. Nonetheless, the fight between Cihan and Aslan results in Cihan shooting Aslan in the shoulder, and then Devin shooting Cihan. And then....??? Perhaps we'll learn more tonight.
As you say, "Dark, very dark."
Steve, I'm not finding any information on it, except my Telemundo upcoming episodes shows there is an episode next Tuesday. Sure seems like there are too many unresolved storylines for it to be over in 2 episodes.
Belated thanks to Juanita for getting Wednesday highlights on the record for us. novelera, thanks for providing the Thursday highlights with a side of snark.
Thursday marked the end of the 13th Turkish episode and the end of the first season. I’m figuring that both Aslan and Cihan survive, unlike the dinner table. Hulya will be heartbroken.
I’ll cosign all your comments, Niecie. Eko can kill someone, but he doesn’t have the guts to marry the woman he loves because his family doesn’t approve. That’s so Turkish… lol “Devin has paid a terrible price for her silence.” I don’t know how she will deal with it. It will take more than a few video calls with Ilkay.
The Aslan – Cihan fight scene was very impressive.
Yes, it’s dark, but it’s to be expected in a mafia dizi! I guess I’m used to it. I’m enjoying the fast pace, the crazy machinations, and the interactions between Hulya and Devin.
I’m expecting an exciting episode to recap tonight. It will be posted on Saturday.
Thanks for the brief but effective recap. I’m still confused about why Cihan is blaming Aslan but I suppose that whole mental health thing has something to do with it. But that table sure wasn’t as strong as it looked. Much like the Soykan family.

Kat in SC: Looking forward to seeing your recap of last night's episode.
What do you mean its coming to what end? what kinda end..this joint just started ..cap/epis#34...WTF!????...
Two months later…
Aslan speaks to the crowd at the launch of his new marina, “Soymarin”. Notably missing from the crowd—Devin and Cihan.
His opening remarks start with words about family. “The family is the center of endless love, but it can also be a potential source of evil (camera on Hulya). We must cherish the good and the bad equally. If you can’t do that, the scales will tip and you’ll be filled with hate. As for me, in good times, in bad times, and until my last breath… I will cherish you all.”
Then he goes on to thank everyone who contributed to making this marina possible. (camera on Isko and Turgut). The family is thrilled, he says, and we hope this marina will benefit everyone. Enjoy! As for us, we will see this place as a refuge. It marks an important milestone for our family. I’d like to thank you for joining us today.
A reporter asks, Aslan Bey, we know you value family, but we haven’t seen your wife in a long time. Is your marriage okay? We get Aslan’s icy blue stare and a close up of his left hand with wedding ring, tightening into a fist. She’s very busy with work, Aslan replies, she wanted to be here but couldn’t make it. Any other questions? The reporter pushes his luck and asks again, is your marriage okay? Aslan says, it is… it’s great… excellent. [seems he’s faking it.]
Cut to Devin in a lawyer’s office. She says, I just want to divorce him. I’ve gone through 12 lawyers in 12 months, she sighs. Half turned me down at the first meeting, the others couldn’t take the pressure and quit. Then you turned up. That’s why I’m here. I understand if you’re scared, and you don’t want to get involved. But I need an answer, I don’t want to waste my time.
The lawyer asks, do you call people you’ve just met, cowards, Devin Hanım? Maybe you’re the one who’s scared to lose a man like him. The lawyer shows her video of Aslan’s marina opening. Note Devin’s subtle traumatic reaction. If you really want me to take your case, the lawyer says, be honest with me. Are you scared?
Devin smiles at her. She starts to fill in some of the missing two months for us. I shot someone. Did you know? (Flashback of shooting Cihan in the back.) I shot him to keep him from killing the man I love. (Flashback of Devin and Cihan arriving at the hospital.) Have you experienced anything like that?
I was 8 weeks pregnant at the time, Devin recalls. (Flashback, Devin doubles over in pain and screams. My baby! Help!) I lost my baby that night. My husband wasn’t with me because he’d been shot, too. It was chaotic, nightmarish. Then there was the trial. It was easier than I thought. I was released—acting in self-defense and protecting a third party. I was depressed after that. I spent hours staring at a single spot, full of anti-depressants. The miscarriage was only the beginning. The emptiness is so great, you think dying is better.
Devin continues, you are right, I’m scared. But it’s not to lose the man in the video. I already lost him, it’s too late. I experienced the most beautiful and disastrous love of my life. So… I’m only scared of what I’m capable of. I only fear myself. We are the ones who hurt ourselves the most. Some will die because of us, even our loved ones. I don’t know how many more people must die for him to understand our love is toxic. That’s why it is important to ask these questions. Do you want my case, or are you scared? The lawyer answers, 13 is my lucky number. She takes the case.
Aslan cuts a ribbon at the marina. Hayırlı uğurlu olsun! Everyone’s phones start buzzing with a shocking notification. A reporter calls out, Aslan Bey, would you like to comment on the viral video?
Devin is riding on a ferry. Passengers are watching the video and staring at her. She realizes and looks at her phone. There are messages from family and friends. She plays the anonymously uploaded video of her shooting Cihan.
Song: Müzik Kutusu/Music Box - Emir Can İğrek
YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRxF2EQE_cs
The ferry docks and passengers get up to leave. The video narration echoes in Devin’s head and she starts to have a panic attack. She pushes and shouts to get through the crowd. She shrieks so loudly that the people stop in their tracks and clear a path for her.
Aslan watches the video. It goes on to say that Cihan was adopted and the man he thought was his father, had killed his parents. Aslan asks Isko and Turgut to check the surveillance system at the house and find the leak. And get rid of the video.
The family regroups at the marina office and wonder how this could have happened. Leyla laughs, she realizes she did the right thing by taking her children and leaving. Hulya asks her if she’s the one who leaked the video. Leyla wonders if Ibo did it. Hulya asks Aslan for his opinion of who did it. He answers her with one word—you. [He knows his mother well.]
You did it, Aslan says. You knew it would hurt Devin. That’s Hulya Soykan. I’m here to start a new chapter for us, and coincidentally, this video is uploaded today! Once again, I’m forced to clean up the mess you made. Why do you think you can keep sabotaging us? Look, my [wedding] ring is still in its place.
You think I did this, Hulya asks. You’ve run your mouth since your father died. Maybe you leaked the video. Maybe you did it to shame your father once again. It’s a chance to comfort the wife you haven’t seen in a long time. Aslan walks away. Ibo asks, what if Cihan did it?
Cihan enters the marina, and he sets off the metal detector. He tells the guard he has a bullet in his back and shows a picture of it on his phone. The guard lets him through just like that?? As Cihan walks in, Hulya’s car drives past him. Although Cihan stares at her, there’s no greeting. Aslan appears.
Devin packs her bag and grumbles to Yagmur about the viral video. I won’t go back to the beginning! Yagmur suggests that her sister get therapy. It’s not enough, Devin replies, I need to be reborn. Therapy won’t help. Yagmur is alarmed. The doorbell rings and rings while Yagmur tries to reason with Devin.
Too bad Yagmur answered the door, it’s Nese. She’s seen the video. She shot him in cold blood, like a hitman, she exclaims, I know what happened but it’s strange to see it. She asks, why was it posted? Where did it come from? Yagmur doesn’t know anything, only that Devin isn’t well. She tells Nese not to leave until she gets back, then she goes. Nese panics.
Devin appears and kisses her mother on the forehead. I love you very much, she tells her. Drink two liters of water a day. Devin leaves the apartment with her bag.
Nice video, Cihan comments to Aslan, it looks like a movie. A homemade, low budget movie. He shows Aslan a picture of his bio parents. This is all that’s left of them. They don’t even have graves. What would you do if you were me, he asks. What if someone killed your parents and adopted you? Aslan looks sympathetic and somewhat sad.
Cihan continues, they already took everything that makes you who you are. You’re always suffering from a lack of affection. When you beg for affection, you’re rejected again and again. What would you do? Aslan replies, if I went through that… I’d kill them myself. And I want you to know that if Yusuf Soykan was alive, I’d be by your side making him pay.
What do we do about Hulya Soykan, Cihan asks, what if I killed her? This is where Aslan draws a line. What’s the matter with you, he replies, that’s stupid. I get that you’re hurt, but you’re not alone. You have me. I won’t let you hurt anyone in the family. That includes you, too. You’re still one of us. You’re still my brother, don’t forget that. I never stopped visiting you in the hospital. In the Turkish, Aslan says that Cihan refused to see him when he came.
Yes, Cihan says, you came to see me, but what about her (Hulya)? She never did, because she never cared about me. Besides, I shot you and she hates me even more. Hulya only cares about power. She didn’t set you up where you are because she loves you. She did it to protect her wealth. She’s using her lion to be a guard dog. Wake up! Don’t call me that, brother, Aslan replies. Cihan shouts, don’t call me brother! I’m not your brother!
Devin is taking a cab somewhere and she’s speaking to Ilkay. She says she’s going to rescue Devin Akin. He tells her to think about the clinic in London. You liked it and you have good references. You said the people there like you, isn’t that so? He offers to go with her. He adds, you can even start going to therapy there. Therapy won’t work for me, she replies, I need to be reborn. He asks, have you gone crazy? [lol] Maybe, she says, but that doesn’t worry me. Isn’t insanity a refuge for the mind?
Devin wonders how Ilkay found out about that clinic. It’s very private. He nervously laughs, do you underestimate me? He tells her to keep her phone on, he’ll stay in touch. Uh oh, someone is there with Ilkay, it’s Hulya.
Hulya asks, what did she say? Therapy won’t help, he says, she needs to be reborn. [Turkish] She went crazy, Hulya replies, how nice. The video came across well. This could speed up her decision to leave for England. Ilkay suspects that Hulya leaked the video. She responds, does it matter if I did or didn’t? Will you turn down the opportunity to go to England with her? Don’t waste it. Hulya leaves.
What do you want, Aslan asks Cihan. I want everything, Cihan replies, everything! I want a family. I want a life. That’s not too much to ask. Can you give me that? I want to see you groveling. I want to see you in pain, begging me to kill you. You can’t give me that. So, I want everything else. Including this (the marina). And the house. I’ll set Yusuf Soykan’s table on fire, kardeş.
Aslan warns, no one has to get hurt. But if someone does, I’ll know you’re responsible. I’ll find you and you will have to kill me first. Death would be a gift for you, Cihan chuckles, that’s ruled out. I want you to feel powerless. I want you to grow weaker each passing day. I don’t need to kill you to destroy your mother. I need you to be powerless.
Look at us, Aslan says, we are brothers who became sworn enemies. It isn’t right. Are you ashamed, Cihan asks. [Turkish] Think of every bad thing around you in this life, and movies like this. I’m the king of them all! The worst in the world! And I’m the most righteous of bad guys in the world! I’m a bad man who has nothing to lose. I’m going to tear your heart out. I’ll burn everything to the ground.
Aslan answers, if we face off, I’ll kill you. And I’m sorry for that, kardeş. Cihan says, I asked you not to call me that (kardeş/brother) again. We’re not family anymore. Cihan walks away. As you wish, Aslan sadly says to himself.
Devin is in Izmir. Yagmur contacts her. She wants to know where she went. Devin’s not telling. She needs to be alone to catch her breath.
Isko, Turgut, and Aslan discuss the video. Turgut says a lot of people stood to benefit from it, even… Aslan interrupts—even I would? Aslan gets in Turgut’s face. You think I’d do that? No, Turgut replies, I was just thinking out loud.
So will I, Aslan answers, just when I thought things were getting better, someone leaked the video. We were about to sign new contracts, now everyone is gossiping. Kaput! I asked, who could do such a thing? I looked at my mother [stop there], uncle, brother… all are my family! And our own “Colombo” Turgut, thinks out loud that he suspects me.
Turgut hangs his head. Aslan continues, maybe I should kill Turgut and throw him in the sea. [he said something different in Turkish, but I couldn’t read his lips.] Not a bad idea, huh? Turgut says he wasn’t accusing Aslan. He’s sorry, it won’t happen again. Aslan orders his men to keep an eye on the real suspects—his uncle, mother, brother. Even Tolga could have crawled from the sewer.
Aslan speaks to Eko, who has been sitting on the sofa in a daze during this. There’s a bottle of alcohol in front of him. What’s going on with you? Eko apologizes for missing the marina opening. He drank too much yesterday. Yesterday? Aslan calls him out, you’ve been sober about 5 days out of the last two months! If you loved her, why did you let her go?
Isko interrupts before Eko can answer. There’s news. We have word she left Istanbul.
Devin gets an elephant tattoo so she will never forget. Later that night, she’s drinking and dancing at a bar. She thinks she sees Aslan. She follows him outside and starts shouting. Aslan Soykan! What do you want from me now?! She never catches up to the guy. Did she imagine this? She lies down on a beach lounge.
Devin wakes up on the beach in the morning. Hmm… she’s got a pillow and blanket that she didn’t have before. She gets a money transfer—wife’s salary. She transfers it to a charity.
She sits at a café and asks the waiter where all the people went. They went on a boat tour, he replies, a man came this morning and bought them all tickets. There’s no one left at the hotel. Devin asks what the man looked like. [Turkish] Very handsome, he says, ah… look, he’s coming. Devin turns, it’s Aslan.
Aslan tells the waiter, it’s okay, we know each other. She’s my wife. The waiter excuses himself. Aslan sits down.
Ha, was The Table repaired? Lawyer Cagri brings paperwork to Hulya. He says, your daughter will be notified this afternoon, as you asked. Is there anything else, Hulya asks. The situation surrounding the video is serious, he replies, it was widely viewed in a short time. If you don’t want to attend the foundation dinner tonight… I can…
Hulya interrupts—I won’t miss that dinner. I have nothing to hide! Cagri asks her if she will speak about Yusuf. She blows up. Of course, I will! Yusuf Soykan started that foundation, and as a family we will donate in his name. Is there a problem with that? She dismisses Cagri.
Aslan notices Devin’s tattoo. Nice. How long has it been? Two months? She can hardly look at him. He asks her to hear him out, if only for a few minutes. That night ruined our lives, I know. Above all, it ruined your life. I understand. And now that the video leaked… I imagine you’re back at the beginning. I want you to know that I’ll find the person who did it and I’ll make them pay. Regardless of what happens… I will always be there to support you.
Devin looks at Aslan and tells him, I need to be reborn. Therapy isn’t enough. He doesn’t understand. Are you done, she asks, your time is up. She gets up from the table. He follows her into the hotel and grabs her arm. Let me go, she shouts. She pushes him away—enough!
Aslan says, I get it. I understand your pain and sorrow. I understand everything about you. But understand me, too. I lost the baby, too. We both did. I’m suffering, too. But I have to be strong and pretend I’m unaffected, right? Look at us, we’re shattered. But I have to bottle it up and move on? I can’t do this without you. We need each other. Let’s help each other.
Devin asks, then what? We’ll have more children and care for them so they can die? I almost became a murderer. I almost killed a person! Is that hard to understand? I’m terrified! I’m scared! I fear myself! If we die, who cares. What’s one more? Why does someone have to die because we love each other? No love is worth that! Talk to my lawyer. She walks away. He follows her again. A lawyer? Yes, she replies, a divorce lawyer.
She goes to her room, and he’s got the room next door. [Ne tesadüf, what a coincidence.] He tells her anger is a bad thing. She should try to relax. What do you have planned for today? She says she’s checking out because he’s here. He snarks, drive carefully, the road has potholes.
Aslan gets a call from Hulya reminding him of the foundation event tonight. He replies, he will monitor it. What do you mean, she asks, You’re not coming? I’m not, he answers. He asks her, why do you bother with the charity? No amount of money will be enough to help Yusuf Soykan’s reputation. Stop talking nonsense, she says, you have to attend the event.
Aslan tells Hulya he’s out of town. He kind of fibs, I’m with Devin, and he sends her regards. Have the staff prepare our room at the house. We will be back tomorrow. See you. Hulya looks sick.
Eko stops Hulya before she gets in her car. I have to talk to you about my parents. Hulya slaps Eko. You’ve been drinking again! Aslan is gone, you’re drunk, and it’s all because of those two good for nothing women! They ruined your lives! Go! Hulya leaves.
Eko’s mother calls him. We hear his side. What marriage? We talked about this. I don’t know this girl! I’m busy, I’ll call you back. Eko calls Yagmur. The message: “the person you are calling is not accepting your calls.”
Ilkay calls Hulya. Money was transferred into his account. Hulya says that she sent it to pay for the trip to London. Plane tickets, lodging, whatever is needed. Ilkay says that Devin hasn’t accepted the offer yet. Hulya replies, she is with Aslan now. Act fast because this could be your last chance.
Aslan plays backgammon with the waiter. Devin comes outside with her packed bag. The waiter notes she’s leaving. She won’t leave, Aslan says, keep playing. The waiter is not so sure, but Aslan is. Devin starts walking. Then she stops and turns back.
Here she comes, says the waiter. Devin stops in front of Aslan. I’m not leaving, you are.
And we are out.
Thanks VERY much, dondi, for this spectacular recap. With your side comments and additions, it's a delight to read, and it helped me to understand much that I missed.
It seems clear from the start of the episode that Aslan knows (or STRONGLY suspects) that Hulya was behind the video. He recognizes that she did it to hurt Devin and to break the two of them apart. Given all that, I fail to understand how he continues to tolerate her.
Then again, I'm less than pleased with Devin's constant refrain: "I need to be reborn." Just how does she expect that to happen??
I'm finding it hard to really like any of the major characters in this dizi. They all seem to be psychologically damaged beyond repair. I keep hoping that's not the case, but so far I see little reason to think things will improve. Indeed, things seem to be going from bad to worse. For a while, I had hopes for Aslan and Devin. Each seemed strong and able to deal with the craziness around them. But that's no longer the case. Aslan seems unable to cut himself loose from his witch of a mother who undermines everyone who opposes her, including her son. And Devin, who seemed so grounded and capable at the start, now screams in frustration and repeatedly mutters "I need to be reborn." And if Devin transfers her "wife salary" to charity, how is she managing to live on her own?
For a while, I even had hopes for Cihan. In this episode, it's Cihan who sees through Hulya most clearly. He tells Aslan: "Hulya only cares about power. She didn’t set you up where you are because she loves you. She did it to protect her wealth. She’s using her lion to be a guard dog. Wake up!" But as clear-sighted as he seems here, mostly we see a Cihan twisted by a lifetime of frustration. When he tells Aslan, "I’m going to tear your heart out. I’ll burn everything to the ground," I believe he could do so.
OK, my rant is over. I do want to thank you again, dondi, for these marvellous recaps, and in particular I'm grateful for your pointing out so many important passages that Telemundo chose to omit. In this episode, I was especially surprised that they cut Aslan's saying that Cihan refused to see him when he came to visit him in the hospital.
Gracias, Dondi. Terrific recap. The dialogue in this dizi is so rich. I'm glad you're including key conversations.
I'm still hoping for an HEA for Devin and Aslan, even with Ilyas presumably plotting out there somewhere. Devin needs time and therapy to move through the trauma she's been through. I'm not surprised she wants to be reborn. If she said that openly in my region, there'd be clergy jumping in to guide her, but I don't think this dizi will explore religious faith.
Aslan always wore warm colors before, so the white suit signaled a new stage to me.
Whoa, Hulya's cruelty to Devin knows no bounds. Mujer, do you not get that Devin saved your beloved son's life? Actually she saved both sons because Cihan intended to shoot himself next, not in a fleshy part of his back but straight to the head.
I like Devin's new lawyer. She seems smart and tough, just like Devin, well, before Devin became emotionally wounded.
Cute scene of Cihan matter-of-factly explaining to the guard the bullet in his back setting off the metal detector. Cihan has humor (dark) and is insightful about Hulya. Maybe there's hope for him too.
Hate seeing Ilkay aid Hulya. What a wuss (and cliché) he's become. Psychologists are taking a hit with this dizi.
Steve, I had a craft event after a parade with kids today that has wiped me out. And I'm battling a head cold. I watched it last night but took no notes as I knew I would have to watch it again to do it justice. It was very Ana heavy. I'll see what I can do tonight.
Well, I'm back in the digital world. Yesterday there was an outage to my AT&T fiber internet that lasted more than 36 hours. The "bot" told me outage in my area and gave several possible restoral times. I eventually shouted "agent" into my phone, and a very pleasant human told me a construction worker had severed something while digging. In the 5 years I've had fiber internet, there has only been one other outage and that only 5 or 6 hours.
Thanks to all for the kind comments about my mini 'cap. That episode was like being dropped into an ice bath, wiping out all the optimism: Cihan and Ibo at the dinner table; Devin agreeing to give birth to their daughter; Yagmur and Iko with a HEA, all of it gone.
I did have television during this period of time, since DirecTV has nothing to do with AT&T. But I lost my 75 game Wordle streak, a lesser Connections one, and had real withdrawal symptoms at the lack of my New York Times digital subscription. For all I knew, really bad things happened in New York City.
So on to Friday's show. Thanks so much, dondi, for your usual terrific Friday recap. You made it all SO clear and with fine sarcasm throughout.
There were some odd numerical things. Devin said 12 lawyers in 12 months, but it's been only 2 months since she decided to divorce Aslan. Yes, she was trying before to keep her own name, but I don't remember her losing lawyers over that. Also, it was said that she lost the baby at 8 weeks. But just before she told Aslan she was 3 weeks along.
Wow. Hulya and Ilkay conspiring. I knew that guy got on my nerves, constantly pressuring Devin to leave Aslan. I just thought it was his deep down wanting her for himself. Maybe that's still the case and what his being in London as she's...what? interned in a fancy clinic was all about. He'd be the cure.
I'm glad Eko can't reach Yagmur. And I'm also glad she seems all right. I feared she'd go off the deep end after that ghastly engagement party. He has colossal nerve even calling her. Let him get cirrhosis from drinking IMHO.
Yes, it's illogical that Cihan blames Aslan for his parents' deaths. Aslan, as we've heard said, wasn't even a gleam in Yusuf's eye when they died. And we heard Cihan's tale of how protective he felt toward Aslan, who insisted on climbing a tree in that memory. Oh well.
It seemed from dondi's recap that Hulya has something planned for Leyla. God, I hope she isn't forced back with Tolga. And I sincerely hope the invincible Iskoc can discover Tolga's part in that video existing at all.
The one bright spot was how happy Leyla seemed. Did she take her children? All the references to split up marriages I remember in dizis seem to award automatic custody to the father.
I would stronger prefer seeing Telemundo getting rid of ALL of the annoying Turkish nonsense dramas ASAP & forever.
1.Papa gives Ana a hug and is so happy to see her (alive). She says no thanks to you since you didn't pay a ransom for me. He says he had been so concerned about her all these years. Ana: and another lie...
2.Gabriel asks where have you been. Elisa says don't ask her any more questions, she is confused and recalls nothing. A bemused Fernanda gives her a hug which Ana reciprocates, kinda. Let the spying begin...
3.The Dallas neighbor to Eugenio is searching through his workshop/ garage for the missing photo (pretty strange place to keep photos, IMO, wait it's a bodega he has rented). Ignacio, Francisco and Marcelo are waiting for word from him. Unfortunately I don't have English CC's so not positive all that is said. They are talking about someone dying many years ago. Does the neighbor believe Fernanda died then. Steve or halimacandy. Did you understand that part?
4.Fern welcomes Ana back home. Ana asks, do you still work for my dad? Dad says, she's my wife. Elisa tells her after mom died they fell in love and wed.
5. Francisco gets a call ( Claudia or Erika) to say Ana is home and all is well so far. Marcelo is worried.
6. Papa talks to Ana alone. He asks her to remember. She says Elisa insisted she move back. Dad says it's your home. She calls him out on abandoning her for 10 years. He says the Dr. Said you had irreversible brain damage. They kept you sedated so you were comfortable. Ana asks, you didn't try to get a second opinion! Ouch. He felt that jab.she days she remembers that satanic man that injected her all the time.
7.Dallas man finds the photo. Bingo
8. Alonso arrives home after visiting Roberto in the hospital. Brenda, Gabriel and Fern are in the salon with him. They all kinda stare at him. What's up? Ana has returned!
9. Alfredo needs to let the police know she has returned. They have been searching for you, not very hard she says. He wants to get the kidnappers. She says I'm very grateful to them. Otherwise I'd still be in the clinic completely drugged. Alfredo then says pardon, but do you really not recall anything that happened to your mother? She says she remembers arguing with her at Elisa's party, which was par for the course. I guess Elisa told Ana her mother died after she was put in the clinic. She can't believe he married Fernanda. You and mom told me she was like a daughter to you both.
10. Alonso is being filled in on Ana's return. He can't believe the kidnappers let her go. He says she escaped like Houdini?
11.Tania and Elisa visit Roberto. He is being discharged soon. He says Ana comes first, Tania feels it was said with sarcasm. I think Elisa offered him a place back at the family compound. He says he doesn't need a nursemaid, he'll be fine on his own.
12. Gabriel, Alonso Fern and Brenda continue to discuss Ana. I didn't understand all of it. Moni and Sebastian arrive which shuts loose lipped Alonso up .
13. Claudia and Erika consult with Ana in her bedroom. Ana says she isn't saying much so they believe her story. Ana is faking amnesia about everything after the party.
14. Some snide remarks from Fernanda to Moni. She wants to go to their room and rest. Fern says then you can welcome Ana. Ana who? asks Sebastian. My sister? Gabriel says she looks good ( healthy). Stupid Alonso adds his 2 cents . Monica returns and so does Ana.
15 Sebastian and Moni are in their room. He noticed she didn't talk to Fern. Moni has no interest in speaking to despicable Fern. Sebastian asks if she would rather stay in a hotel. Tomorrow we find an apartment and move in as soon as possible. He asks if it is ok to go see Ana.
16. Claudia is talking to Ana. Ana asks her about her boyfriend. She says that is over. Ana mentions Rafita. He's an 'asco'. Sebastian enters and the siblings hug.
17. Alfredo will let the police know Ana has returned tomorrow, told to Fern, Gabriel and Alonso. Ana recalls nothing of her mother. Fern says let's keep it that way. Alonso is obnoxious as usual.
I'm writing too much and the comments are too long when I go to post! Less detail going forward.
18. Dallas calls. Photo on the way. Francisco and company look at it on Ignacio's cellphone. It's her.....
19. Fern and Alonso discuss Moni's return. Alonso is willing to do her again. She shuts him down. It would be fatal for you, he says for us. If I go down you go down with me.
20. Gabriel tells Brenda Ana's history r.e. his mother's death. Don't tell anybody.
21. Fern is talking to Ana. How much she loves her father...Fern mentions having seen her. Ana pleads ignorance.
22. Dr. Phil session with Mirna. Fern tells her she doesn't believe Ana. What does Ana have to gain? Mirna says is she protecting Francisco?
23. Fern is telling Ana she needs to see a Dr. Ana insists she is fine.
24. Sebastian tells dad he convinced Moni to return on the condition they get their own place. Dad will get him a list of available places. Admittedly Alfredo has a big house, but wouldn't he want the kids to move out? We were quite happy when our 3 birds flew the nest.
25. Francisco says that photo changes everything. Marcelo says I told you so, but you wouldn't listen. Francisco acknowledges Fernanda likely killed Maria Laura and his grandmother. But he just can't believe it.
26. Moni accuses Alonso of drugging her. He tells her it was a sealed bottle of water he gave her. He gets slapped on the left cheek.
27. Family dinner time with Ana. Elisa tells her Brenda is expecting. Brenda hopes to get to know her. Ana asks about rob, when will she meet him. Tomorrow.
28. Now Francisco is trying to put the blame on Eugenio for manipulating a vulnerable 14 year old girl. Marcelo keeps arguing with. Have I mentioned how much I prefer Marcelo in this TN! Fermin' breaks up their argument.
29. Now Alfredo is suggesting that Ana see a Dr. She says she doesn't want to be admitted to a clinic again. Elisa no, just a check-up. Fern wants her to see a psychiatrist. Ana tells Fern she does recall that Fern suggested her previous Dr. That drugged her for ten years.
30. Fermin' reminds Francisco that Claudia's ex was hired by Fernanda to find Ana...fermin' thinks Fernanda knows Emilio is Francisco. Francisco says that's ridiculous.
31. Elisa slaps Alonso for what he did to Moni. He insists Moni wanted it.
Fernanda tells Alfredo it's awfully convenient Ana recalls nothing about her mother's death. I'm not positive about all this conversation. I think she wants Ana to live far away from them.
Novelera, I could be mistaken, but I think I remember Leyla telling Hulya how happy she is that she left the Soykan estate AND took her children with her.
32. Pati makes an appearance. I think she is digging for info. Claudia isn't telling her anything.
33. Francisco is sorta crying to Marcelo. He's so angry and distraught about Fernanda. Marcelo mentions how Fernanda also thought that Eugenio was dead and was surprised to see him.
34 Moni talks to Elisa about the rape. She wants her to report it. Moni says her love for Sebastian is all that matters. Elisa says it was a violation. Moni confesses it wasn't. She wanted it. Elisa reminds her because of the drug she was given. Moni says she has no proof she was drugged . Moni says she will forget it someday. She doesn't want to hurt Sebastian.
35. Claudia is waiting tables in a very skimpy outfit. Miguel and Rafita discuss how she won't miss a day so she can get her pill.
36. Miguel wants another go at her, Rafita says after the clients have their turn.
37. Moni tells Sebastian when can we get our own place.
38. Claudia, post coitus with Miguel, asks how do you know Fernanda del Pino?
39. Marcelo asks Francisco, if Fernanda killed your grandmother, what would you feel towards her, compassion or hate. If she was sorry? Would you pardon her. If she did those things I want her to answer for her crimes. That's my brother Marcelo shakes his hand on it.
40. Back at the bar bedroom.. Miguel is asleep. Claudia sneaks out of bed and uses his face to open his phone and scrolls through his phone book.
41. Alonso and Gabriel are out kayaking in a lake and bicker as usual. Alonso tells ( taunts) him that he is Brenda's baby daddy....
42. Ana meets Roberto at the hospital with Elisa. Elisa wants to talk to a Dr. About Ana, who again insists she is fine. Elisa leaves and Roberto smiles at Ana. A cancer diagnosis has made him much more likeable. His fault was also being caught in Fernanda's snare.
53. Emilio with his back to Fernanda, discusses business. She touches him to turn around, why are you so cold to me?
54. Alonso continues to taint Gabriel, who reaches a breaking point and viciously attacks him with the paddle, knocking him out of the kayak floating face down. Gabriel paddles away rapidly.
Fin
So obviously there is more to the story, but not sure how many episodes.
Kat in SC: Howdy from the Alamo City. Thanks for the recap of last night's episode. My personal thoughts.
155.) Ana returns to the del Pino family mansion. NOT looking good because Crazy Goldie Locks will up the ante even further by aggressively causing chaos to destroy Ana.
156.) Ana is the ONLY person that I'm interested in watching this Telenovela. I've heard Telemundo has shoved it to 11:30 PM CST timeslot beginning Monday evening of next week.
157.) Monica is STUPID. I just can't!
158.) Marcelo is the voice of reason & he has the "Told You So" comments when Francisco/Emilio realizes that Crazy Goldie Locks killed Maria Laura & Manuela.
159.) I still do NOT trust Mooching Roberto. He is taking advantage of Gullible Elisa once again.
160.) NOT everyone is thrilled with Ana returning home.
161.) Sebastian: You might want to dump Monica.
162.) Tania, Tania, Tania! What can I do with you ?
163.) Gabriel's ambitions & thirst for power continues to explode.
164.) Ignacio & Co., need to form their own Paul Drake Detective Agency.
165.) Crazy Goldie Locks obsessed with Emilio/Francisco. I do agree with Fermin because I think she knows Emilio Montenegro is really Francisco Ramirez.
166.) Patty, Claudia & Erika: Fast Forward!
167.) Gabriel snaps & attacks Slick Alonso by bashing him with the paddle. We all know Slick Alonso will survive!
I'm not watching this one, but my DirecTV Guide says it's over. Or, at least, there's nothing scheduled all next week. All I see is Exatlon and La Familia
Novelera: Telemundo put this Telenovela in the 11:30 PM CST timeslot beginning Monday.
Thank you, everyone.
Lol, novelera, you caught a typo that I missed, “12 lawyers in 12 months”! Devin clearly said “iki aydır”, 2 months. And Devin did say she was “sekiz haftalık hamile”, 8 weeks pregnant. I can’t explain that except to say that TNs and dizis often have fuzzy timelines. Sorry about your Wordle and Connections streaks. I play those NYT games, too.
Juanita, I’m also annoyed by the repetitious “I need to be reborn”. “And if Devin transfers her "wife salary" to charity, how is she managing to live on her own?” Until the car bomb, Devin made a good living from her private practice. She didn’t want the Soykan money. Thinking she must have some savings. Whatever.
“I'm finding it hard to really like any of the major characters in this dizi.” I don’t know if they’re supposed to be likeable. I think Hulya is a great villain. The actress does an excellent job of "looking like she has sucked lemons." [lol thanks for that, novelera.] I have the most sympathy for Cihan. He is a tragic character.
Niecie ITA, “The dialogue in this dizi is so rich.” Unfortunately, it loses a lot in translation and awful edits. The tradeoff is that I get to watch and discuss a dizi with the patio. I haven’t been able to find an English language site like Caray that discusses dizis currently airing in Turkey.
Hulya tempted Ilkay with a life with Devin. Unfortunately, he took the bait. This could end badly for him. “Psychologists are taking a hit with this dizi.” lol.
Waiting for the appearance of Nedret and the reappearance of Ilyas.
Lucky East Coast viewers has it showing on Tuesday at midnight! But I only have 1 episode listed in the upcoming library on YouTube TV. Steve, how many are showing in the Direct tv guide? I think the problem with this one is it has competition from La historia de Juana, which I admit I prefer. If I didn't have the ability to save episodes I would have skipped this one.
OK, folks, Sed de Venganza is MOVING to the midnight hour (12-1 am), starting this Monday/Tuesday. I say Monday/Tuesday because apparently it starts very early (12 am) TUESDAY morning. According to both Telemundo's program guide and Zap2It's much better program guide, as of Tuesday, December 10, Sed de Venganza will be shown Tuesday through Friday early in the morning (12 am). Except not this Thursday. This is certainly the case for the Eastern time zone AND the Pacific time zone. There's some uncertainly about the Central time zone, since in announcing this change, the Telemundo program guide says 12 am/11 c.
Juanita thanks for clarifying. I will continue to recap but not at the midnight viewing. I'll try and watch the following afternoon.
Dondi, well, I watched the last episode and thought I was watching a different Show. Maybe things will be clearer after I read your recap. I dont know what they are saying , but the visual was confusing . I have been getting very busy with holiday family activities,so I am trying to keep up. I think I am done with Venganza, too grim and violent with no good characters. Susan
Susan, I am still watching this dizi, although I don’t enjoy organized crime tales. I still have hope that something positive will happen, but I know that is frequently not the case with dizis. I especially hope Cihan finds some peace. I also wonder if there will be something redemptive with Hulya.
I also hope you have wonderful holidays and that you find time to stick with this!
