El Angel de Aurora #91
Part 1 of 3 (Quick and Dirty Edition)
Angel decided to live in the mansion with Aurora. Helena looked a little disturbed. Aurora told Jezabel said she had to talk to Angel but Aurora said she will talk to Angel only in her presence.
Briana told Demon she will not be a plato de secunda mesa to her own sister. Demon told a lie about Helena being married to him for business and could separate their marriage from other men; he suggested to Briana that she seduce Angel and get him into bed. Glorio wayched them but most likely did not hear anything.
Antonio confessed to Elvia that he could not forget Aurora. Not while he was married to Patricia and not now. Elvia said she wanted to be his but it looked like he was over it.
Glorio went over to Demon's table six sheets to the wind. Demon ordered a bottle of tequila so he could get Glorio drunk enough to get info out of him. Briana got up from the table.
Anita and family were reassembling the broken music box. Pascual found the flash driven and put it in a tray with the box and its remaining parts.
Jezabel put on her latest act and asked to show her repentance. Aurora was not falling for it and wanted Jezabel out of the house.
Elena and JC talked about the marital woes with Demon. She told him she was sad about his divorce.
Antonio went back to his book, asking himself what to do. He did not love Elvia.
Jezabel tried persuading Angel to agree to help save the family. Aurora said she had to talk to JC and explain this to Angel.
JC and Helena continued their conversation. JC said he had loved his first wife but loved Aurora more. Helena talked about cultivating love as one does a plant.
Angel did not want to cause problems but Aurora directed him away from Jezabel. Jezabel called Demon who did not answer. He was listening to Glorio ramble on about nothing Demon wanted to know. He got up and left the table. He gave some money to a waiter to get Glorio home in a cab. Glorio kept on rambling but got up, unsteady.

Part 2 of 3
Antonio went to the Santos house to see Angel but found Pascual. He looked at the nearly-restored music box and recognized it.
Guagüi and Vampi argued again. [Vampi is no longer clutching his midsection].
Briana and Elvia had a run-in. Briana told her her father only had eye for Aurora, so she should leave.
Patricia got a little too narcissistic in her full-length mirror until Pintas showed up to scare her and creep her out.
Briana told Elvia to leave. Elvia told her she knew more about her and her mother than she knew. She didn't want any conflict with her.
Pintas helped himself to a drink from the minibar and continued to intimidate Patricia by talking about the murder attempt. He backed her up against the wall. Grabbing her arms as he drooled over her.
Luis joined Aurora, Angel, and JC at the table. Jezabel said she would leave the house that night. Lois was not happy. He proposed to her. She looked sick. She turned to leave, he held her back, but she told him it was over. She told the others she hoped for their forgiveness.
Patricia hit Pintas but he was undeterred. He still thought he could money out of her. She kicked him and had a can of Mace in hand as he got up. He spewed more threats and realizing she had said something significant to Guagüi.
Antonio and Pascual talked and Pintas' name came up [¡Horrors!]. Pascual was concerned that Angel would change in Antonio's world. Antonio did not believe this would happen because Angel was a saint. He would have the same values.
JC told Aurora to watch out for Jezabel. Aurora was warned about Pintas being at large. JC told her to get more security cameras. She wanted him to move in.
Antonio talked about the pending divorce of JC and Aurora and his uncertainty about asking Elvia to leave his house.

Teté went to confront Jezabel, saying she knew she was in cahoots with Patricia and Pintas. Jezabel denied it but this did not fool Teté who told her she would not let her hurt Edgar. She then – foolishly – told her she would unmask her to Aurora with the usual consequences.
Demon entered Helena's office. She told him she planned on opening her own company. He reacted as though he liked this.
Teté called Jezabel out on her connexion to Pintas. Jezabel told Teté that Edgar was in cahoots with Demon over an attempted murder. She then called Edgar “fragile” over these things before she left.
Angel talked with JC, Antonio. and Aurora about his car and his intention to get Helena to stay with Campero Corporativo.
Jezabel told Patricia about Teté. Jezabel warned that she was not easily fooled and said they needed to kill her.
Two black-clad assassins waited in their car.
Angel and Helena talked in the parking lot. JC, Antonio, and Aurora also came down. The two assassins put on their balaklavas. One started the engine as the other got out, aiming at Demon. Aurora saw this and ran to protect him, getting shot in the process. A second shot got JC. Antonio called for ambulances, Angel leaned over Aurora who passed out.
Edgar would not discuss his mental health with Teté. He was tough on her and also called his sperm donor garbage. He felt abandoned. He was going back to work with Demon. Teté then got a call which disturbed her, but she said nothing.
Aurora opened her eyes om her way into the ER. Angel knew nothing about her or JC's conditions.
Teté chewed out the assassins for bungling the mission, the ordered them out of her office. They were afraid the would be identified. Teté sent Linette to the hospital to find out everything she could.
Jezabel showed up there and Demon told her what happened, She said Teté did it.
Aurora had suffered a hit to an artery. JC had lost a lot of blood and needed a transfusion.
Jezabel accused Teté and decided to report her anonymously. She then called Edgar weak, etc., and said he would make another attempt on his own life. Her tone showed us that she would be responsible for this. Jezabel said that any investigation would show Teté's deals to be shady. Teté made a counterstatement that they might share a cell someday.

Both JC and Aurora needed resuscitation. Aurora flatlined.
Pascual and Antonio went to the hospital. They thought Pints was behind this.
A doctor came out saying that Aurora was in a coma. Luis was told that JC was stable; they had gotten the bullet out.
Maggie told Anita that Aurora would get well. Rolando picked a coin off the floor and found (another?) flash drive. Angel went into Aurora's room saying she would recover, then prayed to God and to Vicki, his other mother.
Luis went into JC's room and prayed for him to live. He promised he would work hard and improve himself, including giving up his pursuit of Jezabel.
Teté told Jezabel she would never trust her. Jezabel said “I am innocent and have nothing to worry about.” Teté threatened her in return. They parted company.
Jezabel went home and argued with Demon. He wanted to know where she was. She told him his friend Edgar would shortly become an orphan.
Angel kissed Aurora's hand as the steady beeps continued. Helena came in and Angel said he was grateful she was there. Helena pleaded with Aurora to wake up, saying she needed her.
Demon was adamant in his accusations, telling her she was mistaken in her actions. He told her she should not mess up like this. Not going to the hospital with flowers was not a good move.
Briana went to the Santos house to ask Pascual to put Helena in her place.
Helena told Demon she was going to the hospital to bring things to Aurora. He did not argue with her, saying he was concerned about Aurora. She was sure this was about Pintas. He did not say what his thoughts were “because it would be risky” but added that Edgar was at risk.

Edgar was in a panic thinking that Jezabel tried to kill Aurora. Teté told him that Jezabel has tried to kill Pintas.
Jezabel took her hands back as Angel entered and put on a bigger show of empathy for him. She put her hand in his and begged Aurora to wake, followed bu her crocodile tears.
Teté told Edgar that Jezabel's connexion to Pintas was their only card. He made the connexion of that to the rape.
Antonio told Elvia he was going to the hospital. She was not pleased. He confessed he had never stopped loving Aurora.
JC woke up and tried to get out of bed. Luis stopped him and had to tell him Aurora was in a coma.

Angel/Aurora. Excellent recaps, Urban! Nothing quick and dirty about either of them. #91: Antonio is being kind of unfair to Elvia. If he still loved Aurora, he should never have asked her to move in. As usual, Jezabel is not particularly successful in hiding her evil. #92: Once again, who will win? Tete or Jezabel? Jezabel was exceptionally nasty in threatening Edgar. Will she succeed in killing Tete? Tete certainly doesn't succeed in killing Demian. Did we really think that either Aurora or JC would die this early? Maybe JC. And I wonder what is the significance of those 2 flash drives Rolas found.

One Week Later
Jezabel took out the music box in her desk; it did not play. She emptied the drawer of all papers and could not find a certain medical document. Cassandra entered with coffee only to be accused of taking the missing document. Jezabel threatened her and grabbed her by the jaw. Fortunately a secretary interrupted to tell her a cop was there to see her. She threw some papers around.
Antonio and JC were in Aurora's room and had turned to leave. She woke up. Antonio called Angel to tell him. He picked Briana up and spun around [Not good. amigo]. Carmel and Helena were also there.
JC told Antonio Aurora was the love of his life but he was releasing her to be with him if she wanted to.
Elvia was in Jezabel's office. Jezabel asked if there was any evidence that Teté was connected to Pintas. No answer. She did tell Jezabel that Antonio had ended their relationship. Jezabel suggested she go to see JC whom she said hated Antonio.
Angel sat at Aurora's bedside, encouraging her to rest and they would celebrate later. He was determined not to lose her.
Cassandra told the guys that Jezabel saw the fake music box. Aquiles told her it was too dangerous for her to stay in the company. Aquiles had lost or misplaced the document.
Jezabel and Teté talked, Teté taking a new stance, saying she could not see a connexion between Jezabel and Pintas. Jezabel asked Teté if she tried to kill Demon. Teté said that Demon had enemies, both business and political. Jezabel invited her to dinner.
One Week Later
Aurora was out of the hospital. JC needed to talk.
Teté took something out of her safe. She told Linette she was in charge because she was going somewhere and gave her instructions in case she did not return.
Aurora and JC talked about their divorce. Both were sad. JC told her he loved her for the last time.
Palmiro came to Esperanza's to court her again. Luis spotted a girl of a more appropriate age [or is she a little too young?].

Aurora broke the kiss. Antonio declared his love and his desire to protect her.
Jezabel and Teté got out of the car. Both were armed. Both fired.
JC asked Elvia what she was looking for. She said he made a mistake in divorcing Aurora because Antonio would be getting her back.
Teté lay on the ground. Her pistol was on the ground near her body. Jezabel laughed.
Helena went to Esperanza's place. Angel had also just arrived.
Briana told Demon things were going better than expected. He locked his office door in hopes of getting it on but she was not in the mood. “Frigid, like your sister,” he said.
Esperanza told Helena and Angel that Glorio saw Demon and Briana in a bar.
Aurora asked Miguel's photo why he hated her and that she became a strong woman in spite of that.
Jezabel addressed another photo of him, cursing him out and throwing it on the floor. The sound of shattering glass segued into the buzz of a taunting text from Pintas.
Patricia pretended to cook for Pascual and come on to him. He was clearly not interested. Saved by Anita and Rolando.
Angel went to Antonio's office. Antonio told him he wanted Aurora back. Angel liked this very much. After some work they talked about going out to eat. JC came in to talk work; he and Antonio disagreed and Angel mediated. They finally agreed to go to the Santos house.

Helena went to Esperanza's place. Angel had also just arrived.
Briana told Demon things were going better than expected. He locked his office door in hopes of getting it on but she was not in the mood. “Frigid, like your sister,” he said.
Esperanza told Helena and Angel that Glorio saw Demon and Briana in a bar.
Aurora asked Miguel's photo why he hated her and that she became a strong woman in spite of that.
Jezabel addressed another photo of him, cursing him out and throwing it on the floor. The sound of shattering glass segued into the buzz of a taunting text from Pintas.
Patricia pretended to cook for Pascual and come on to him. He was clearly not interested. Saved by Anita and Rolando.
Angel went to Antonio's office. Antonio told him he wanted Aurora back. Angel liked this very much. After some work they talked about going out to eat. JC came in to talk work; he and Antonio disagreed and Angel mediated. They finally agreed to go to the Santos house.

Aurora could not locate Jezabel.
Demon suggested going out to Helena; Briana was cooking for Glorio's birthday. Helena asked him what he was doing in a bar with Briana.
The three partners ate with Pepe and Maggie. Jezabel arrived to crash the party. Luis was uneasy.
Helena tried to find out if Demon was hiding something. He said Glorio was inventing gossip. Demon accused her of avoiding him while she accused him of pushing her away.
Jezabel came on to Luis but Aquiles and Glorio flanked him. Pepe became curious. Maggie said nothing.
Demon tried to hug Helen, then got on his knees. She looked disinterested,
Jezabel told the guys to count on her for help, but none were taken in.
Rolando made a comment about Pintas. Patricia encouraged everyone to eat [What did she put in the food, anyway?]. Briana arrived with a dessert. Patricia said Angel was lucky to have her.
Aurora found the destroyed picture frame. She took out her phone, then spoke to Jezabel's photo asking why she was with an abusive man. Elvia came in.
