Daytime TNs... Y Mas (#2), Week of January 20, 2025
Welcome to page 1 of Daytime TNs! This page is to give those who are watching daytime TNs on any channel a place to discuss the TNs aired prior to 7Pm. If you would like to contribute a recap of just some highlights for a daytime TN, I’m sure there are those who watch the same TNs that would appreciate it.

El Angel de Aurora #88
Part 1 of 3
Jezabel tried to make Antonio look bad to Elvia. Elvia left. Jezabel raised her coffee cup to and exchanged looks with Patricia, who had been sitting at the table behind Elvia.
Demon and Aurora argued about her inviting Angel's family to the house. He played the Class Card as usual. She told him that this was her house and as people who have helped Angel they are welcome. “If you don't like that, that's your problem.”
Esperanza got on Pepe's case about his behaviour in front of their distinguished guests. They left the room. Antonio and JC talked about preparing Angel for his future at Campero Corporativo. While he had studied finance and marketing he lacked experience. JC pointed out that to put him in charge now will not work in his favor.
Aurora made the introduction of Angel to Carmela. Demon was not happy but lied for appearances' sake. Aurora put him at the head of the table which Demon objected to. Aurora said that his mother does not rule the house.
JC told Antonio that Aurora was making a mistake in awarding authority to Angel so soon. Antonio got that but suspected that JC didn't like his involvement. JC was concerned that Angel would look foolish in view of Jezabel and Demon waiting for this so they could take advantage. “That would destroy her and I will not permit that.” He was also concerned due to his position as corporate attorney. Antonio insisted upon continuing to mentor Angel; this was not negotiable. They agreed and shook hands on it.
Helena told Anita about moving to Las Flores, but decided to go to the Mothers Day festival the next day to hear Anita read her poem. Pascual was content with the house, Anita said that Demon had taken the other away which provoked his nastiness. Pascual then decided they were leaving. They got up and left the table. Helena and Aurora both looked embarrassed.
Jezabel and Patricia “celebrated”. Patricia was peeved about Elvia. Jezabel said she had to create doubt in Elvia about the accusations. For which she blamed Briana. Jezabel told Patricia about Briana's involvement in the lipstick incident.
Luis, Aquiles, and Glorio helped out during the festival. [Luis seems to have lost a little of his snobbery.]
Patricia could not believe this and Jezabel told her to keep Briana out of her way. Patricia said Briana possibly overheard them at Aurora's wedding. Jezabel did not like Briana's attitude. Patricia said she's talk to her and asked Jezabel not to do anything. Jezabel told her she was having Teté investigated to see how “invincible” she is. She intended to frame her for the attack on Aurora. Patricia looked worried.
Night
Jezabel told Demon to stop his attitude toward Angel. She said not to go to Las Flores. She said she needed him to stay or they would lose it all. Pulling out another Class card she said their mansion would become a slum. She said he didn't love Helena; he loved winning over Angel. He needs to stay so they could “put him out on the street where he belongs.” She told him “Together we will win it all but only if we're together.”
Aurora, Helena, and Angel showed the others out. Demon and his egg donor watched from the top of the stairs. Aurora said that his family will always be welcome. JC and Antonio arrived together. They assured Aurora that they are at peace and will work together to make Angel into the most important executive in the company. Jezabel and Demon came downstairs and she made comments that could only be described as the depth of hypocrisy. This included how nice it was that Angel now had “two, three fathers.” Demon tried to pull rank upon seeing Angel hug both JC and Antonio, even insulting him. This did not deter his mentors.

Part 2 of 3
Cassandra visited Maggie. Maggie told her about Rolando's observation and his dream about his father. She also admitted she had the hots for Aquiles but was not sure what to do.
Aquiles, Luis, and Glorio talked business and other trifles at Esperanza's. Rolando announced that his mum had a novio but gave no details.
Cassandra told Maggie about Teté but that she did not know what to do because Teté was hoping she and Edgar would marry. Either way she hoped Cassandra would resign from her job. Cassandra still thought that she was in love with JC.
Angel told JC and Antonio that Pascual and the others were waiting for him outside. Helena told JC and Antonio it was good to see them at peace. Antonio left. Demon and Jezabel went upstairs.
Helena was happy with the truce between her father and JC. He told her he was moving forward and Elvia had moved in with him. He left. Aurora was happy with the situation.
Jezabel told Demon about her meeting with Elvia. She was also setting her up as an enemy to Aurora with the goal of driving Antonio away from Angel. She told Demon she needed his help. She gaslit him, saying that “your aunt doesn't love you now that she gas found her bastard.” She said he had to recover the leadership so he had to stay. He was not eager to. Jezabel got insulting about Angel, calling him all manner of lower-class epithets, etc. [She also looked demonic herself during this monologue].
Maggie told Cassandra to give it up and get real about JC. And Edgar.
Some confusion ensued for Rolando about Aquiles and Glorio which caused Luis to suggest he could have two new fathers. Rolando wondered if the two would still be friends if his mum married Aquiles. Pepe feigned sleep and the other guys left.

Patricia confronted Briana about Jezabel, telling her that Jezabel will go after Teté. She was to stay away from her. “The thing Jezabel likes more than money is revenge.” Briana told her she didn't care about any of the Camperos; she just wanted to be happy. Patricia asked if she was sure, then said she should look for a way to get Angel to marry her. [Will she try to pull a pregnancy entrapment on Angel? We only have 38 episodes left...]. Briana didn't see that as possible because Angel was still in love with Helena and she with him. Patricia said “That flame will go out” and that she needed not to waste any time.
Angel went upstairs. Helena told Luis she was happy that their dads would be mentoring Angel. He asked her to go to the festival the next day because Anita needed her. She agreed to go.
Briana told Patricia she wanted to go to the festival that next day and wanted her to come along. Patricia tried to dismiss it as cheap and corny, but Briana persisted. She wants her there to help her with Angel while also trying to get her mother away from Jezabel.
Elvia found Antonio reading the book about love and lured him into amorous activities.
Aurora told JC she was happy. She did not want him and Antonio to have more conflicts. He told her he saw Esperanza. All he wanted was to be the only man in her life.
Pepe sneaked into Esperanza's room and got into her bed. She woke up immediately and threw him out.
Jezabel told Demon to come back because they needed to take over the company. She repeated that Aurora did not love him. She asked if he had ever wished that Aurora was his mother. He told her bit to say stupid things. She said he was the only one with the right to run the company. He went down the stairs with her words ringing in his ears.

Thanks Urban, once again you turned out a great recap. I read your response from your last recap. I’m thinking we saw Helena’s mother once in a flashback, but I don’t remember what she looked like. I hate the thought of Pintas being Angel’s dad so am hoping it’s Arturo. If Helena isn’t Antonio’s daughter I hope he either married her knowing she was pregnant or married when Helena was an infant.

Angel/Aurora. Another excellent recap--as usual--Urban! And thank you very much for your admin request! I liked the way Aurora stood up to Demian. Elvia's rather gullible with respect to Jezabel. Yu would think a private investigator would be a little smarter than that. "amorous activities"--Love it!

If Elvia doesn't see the light about this monster she will lose Antonio. We'll see how long that takes.

Part 1 of 3
Elvia told Antonio about Jezabel looking to hire her to investigate Teté Bautista. This was about the possibility that she had something to do with the attack. He advised her to stay far away from Jezabel who had hurt Aurora. Elvia asked if it was possible he was being too hard on Jezabel and that she could be innocent.
Luis told JC that he may have made a huge mistake. It would be difficult to get rid of Antonio. He said that if Aurora did not see his value by that moment she doesn't really love him. She desperately wanted a family so Angel would need to live with her.
Jezabel went to Lavendar to see Teté. The bartender excised himself and went into the office. Teté did not want any meetings but Jezabel did not wait; she went in. Teté dismissed the bartender.
Anita read her poem to a family audience. There were images of Vicki and the others during happier times. After this she and Rolando publicly presented a gift to Aurora. Demon rolled his eyes, then faked tears.
Jezabel and Teté dueled with words and Teté demanded that she leave. Jezabel asked about Edgar, then pretended to forgive her for the lipstick. Teté was not fooled. Jezabel accused her of neglecting Edgar, saying that it drove him to her. Teté would not take that, turning the fault back to Jezabel and Demon. Jezabel still persisted in her gaslighting plan.
Antonio told Elvia that Jezabel was a major manipulator but Elvia believes in the benefit of the doubt. Aurora could have manipulated him to her own advantage. Antonio said it wasn't possible; Pascual witnessed all that happened that night between Jezabel and her father. She was not to trust her. Elvia said it was possible that Aurora wasn't manipulating intentionally, but Antonio wouldn't buy that [obviously, because he knows better]. She pointed out that Jezabel was recently attacked so she had to consider all possibilities. Her current theory is that Teté and Pintas planned the attack on Aurora [Obviously this is what Jezabel wanted],
On the way home Aurora spotted Pintas and recognized him. Pascual was unable to prevent Angel from going after him.
Jezabel and Teté continued their duel. Jezabel commented about Edgar's connexions. She said it was a special day so sh had to go, saying they should talk about Edgar again. She finally left.
Angel caught Pintas but Demon stopped him and Pintas escaped with Guagüi and Vampi. Demon asked Angel “What were you thinking? You put yourself at risk.” Pintas laughed and boasted he was the boss of the barrio. He then threatened Patricia and Jezabel.
Helena asked how it was possible the police hadn't caught him yet. Angel got back to them and explained what happened. Demon arrived and said that Pintas escaped. He wanted Helena to leave with him. Aurora also agreed to go with them. Angel told him they had to talk later.
Later at the Santos house JC and Luis tried to persuade Angel to move into Aurora's house. Angel said that would also mean living with Jezabel which would be torture. Angel said that he and his family will stay where they are.
Demon heard Jezabel's words about beating Angel to power while Helena was trying to talk to him.
Angel tried to explain to JC that he had to move forward on his own. Briana told him he wouldn't be freeloading and should take his place with his mother as her heir. Luis seconded that.
Vampi and Guagüi argued about Pintas' revenge scheme. Pintas returned with three litre bottles of beer. He was masked and hoodied.

Antonio visited Helena at work with flowers. They talked about Helena's mother and hugged. She almost sounded like she was crying while recalling that her mother had died 15 years before. He told Helena that she was the greatest gift she had given him.
Demon told Jezabel he loved her, “although sometimes you don't believe that.” She said she loved him more than anything. He told her about Pintas. They intended for him to fall, He reminded her that they will be in trouble when Pintas is caught. She asked him about her Mothers Day gift. He said that would wait until the next day.
Angel addressed the conference room and showed a building design. Helena presented spreadsheets Jezabel and Demon exchanged looks. After this Angel and Demon talked in Demon's office, Angel suggested they work together. Demon almost laughed in his face.
Next Day
Aquiles wanted to know whom Maggie was interested in. He wanted to know because he was close to Rolando. She finally said “It's you”. They embraced and Glorio saw this from the doorway.
JC handed Aurora a divorce petition, saying he wanted her to follow her heart.
Angel was home at the altar to the Virgen. Pascual told him there are difficult times and decisions. Angel said that after talking with JC he decided it would be better for all of the to be living with Aurora.
Demon suddenly said they were staying in Mexico City. He told Helena they had to talk. Antonio said he hoped this was for the right reasons. He left. Demon said he had listened to Aurora and his mother all his life and now the company needs him. Helena was angry because he didn't consult her.

Part 3 of 3
Glorio carried on as though he was having a heart attack. He had hoped to get Maggie and this hurt. He picked up a scarf and hit Aquiles with it twice, challenging him to a duel [and apparently forgot the gentlemen's agreement in an early episode].
JC told Aurora he felt he was an obstacle to Aurora's reunion with Angel. He did not want for this to cause them to begin hating each other. Aurora was sure he didn't love her. She wanted a family but he saw them as a group of strangers that sometimes got along. He wanted to give her time to be Angel's mother.
Demon called Helena hysterical and she – correctly – took this as an insult. He said he had to stay because Angel would screw up the company. She started to say she wanted to go with him to distance herself from – She stopped dead there.

Demon followed Helena. They argued again about Angel. She did not like him making all the decisions as though she had no voice. They were staying and he should not expect her to quit working. She refused to be a doll that he and Angel play with.

Glorio carried on as though he was having a heart attack. He had hoped to get Maggie and this hurt. He picked up a scarf and hit Aquiles with it twice, challenging him to a duel [and apparently forgot the gentlemen's agreement in an early episode].
JC told Aurora he felt he was an obstacle to Aurora's reunion with Angel. He did not want for this to cause them to begin hating each other. Aurora was sure he didn't love her. She wanted a family but he saw them as a group of strangers that sometimes got along. He wanted to give her time to be Angel's mother.
Demon called Helena hysterical and she – correctly – took this as an insult. He said he had to stay because Angel would screw up the company. She started to say she wanted to go with him to distance herself from – She stopped dead there.

Thanks Urban, that was good and cleared up a few things. I thought JC wanted a divorce because of jealousy, but he was being noble. Not sure i believe that. He might bejealous that she wants to spend time with Angel. He and his son are the same-and JC is talking advice about Aurora from him.
Elvira should realize Antonio has known Jezabel and Aurora for over 30 years and probably has more knowledge of them than she does.
Demon gets very tiresome. Helena must be a saint to put up with him. And his mother. At least Angel knows he wouldn’t want to live with Jezabel.

Urban, thank you for yet another excellent recap that didn't miss a beat.
Amazing that Demon doesn't realize how truly evil his mother is .
I guess we all realize that the stage is being set for Aurora and Antonio to be reunited ...and it feels so good .
It will be Interesting to see what anchor are hovering over the villains .
P.s. Helena looked beautiful in that black lace blouse , and I prefer her hair up.
