El Angel de Aurora #80
Part 1 of 3
Demon told Helena he asked Edgar for the video; he said it was to protect her. She said trust was essential to her. She thought it was possibly faked but he convinced her otherwise. For now.
Angel and Pascual talked about Vicki. Pascual asked his forgiveness for not having told Angel the truth before. Angel was alright, saying he would always see him as his true father.
Demon went upstairs to bed, stopping at Jezabel's room only to find her bed padded. Jezabel came home. He heard her come in. He asked if she had gone out to kill Angel. She told him off for his questions, saying he was nobody to tell her what to do or not do. When she went upstairs it was evident that she might have been injured.
Morning
Pascual and Angel went to see Antonio. Elvia was with him. He told his secretary to check that all was ready.
Demon brought Helena breakfast in bed. They talked about Antonio's project.
Angel was apprehensive about the reveal. Both Antonio and Pascual said it was time.
Patricia was nervous as all hell, pacing as she spoke. Jezabel told her that it would probably take a week before Pintas' body would be found. Patricia was nervous at the prospect of going to the office but Jezabel wasn't having it, saying that soon Aurora will see her son... dead. Patricia got nervous yet again at the D word.
When Aurora and JC arrived at the office there as a TV news crew there. Antonio tikd them he was announcing a new project. Jezabel was surprised but not in a good way. Demon thought that Antonio was going to announce what they had talked about the evening before. Luis, Aquiles, and Glorio were there – out of uniform – and hanging with the others.
As I suspected, Pintas was not dead.
Antonio went to the podium to announce Aurora's return to the corner office. She gave a brief speech, then Antonio brought Helena to the podium. He mentioned that the alliance between the companies will benefit the employees. Neither Demon nor Jezabel was pleased but Demon faked it when his name came into it. This was where Antonio brought Angel into it by introducing him as Aurora's long-lost son. He entered in a dark suit and white shirt. Dead silence and some shocked looks among all present and a deadly look from Jezabel.
Demon lost it and ranted that this was a joke or conspiracy. Aurora was suspicious. Antonio told her about the photo, then showed it to her on his phone. Pascual came forward, telling her that he and Vicki raised Angel. Aurora almost collapsed.
Pintas was packing as there was a knock on his door. El Guagüi was there and Pintas told him that Jezabel and Patricia tried to kill him.
Antonio was working at exposing Jezabel. Demon and Angel almost got into a fight; Helena stepped between them, telling them to behave. Antonio told Pascual and Angel to go into the office, then told Jezabel she had a lot of explaining to do. She denied it at first and he coerced her into the office. Patricia – unsurprisingly – started to look at Angel differently, asking Briana if they had reconciled. She said No. She was also still shocked.
Pintas described the murder attempt. He said he had lost consciousness. He swore they won't succeed next time [Assumption; no subs here].
Aurora regained full consciousness in a nearby office. JC handed her a glass of water. She got up and said “I knew! I knew!” Antonio told her that Pascual will explain it all. Jezabel accused him of lying; Demon seconded her. Pascual answered with “The only deceiver here is your mother, Jezabel Campero.” He began to tell what happened. Demon asked why they had not denounced Miguel if he could do something this evil. Pascual explained that he had tried to return the baby to a=his mothrt but Jezabel had stopped him.

Patricia and Briana were in the latter's office. Patricia had done a total about-face about Angel, now that he turned out to be the son of Aurora Campero. Briana looked like she was trying to ignore her.
Arguments broke out between Jezabel and Demon vs everyone else. Jezabel was lying like a rug claiming to have fought with Miguel and not being guilty of any of this. Aurora called her out as a liar and manipulator. Pascual told her to tell the truth. Demon called him a liar; Angel defended his father. Jezabel tried saying that My Father Made Me Do This, with threats. Pascual denied this. Jezabel lunged at him, but Angel stepped in closer as Demon held her back as she spewed out insults. Antonio denied the accusation that Pascual was looking for money, including the money Jezabel offered for his silence.
Aurora then realized that Jezabel knew Angel's identity and kept it from her. She got up and slapped her, then shoved her. Demon caught her. Aurora said that this was the biggest betrayal of all and she would never forgive her. That she was a monster. She sat back down and asked her why she had deceived her for all that time. Jezabel got on her knees and blamed their father for it all, saying she hated seeing her suffer. Antonio calmly told her to stop lying. She got up and blamed him for abandoning Aurora at the altar, saying he was the one who caused her misery. He told her not to change the subject. Jezabel claimed that she was another victim of their father's toxic machismo, also living in fear. Aurora almost looked like she was buying this. She looked at Angel.
As Patricia played with a post-it note pad Briana looked at the file Jezabel made her create and realized that “Romualdo Garcia” is Pintas.
Esperanza signed for a package. Cassandra teased her about it as she walked off with it unopened.
Aurora was not fooled after all. Jezabel tried again to put guilt elsewhere by saying that Miguel blamed Aurora for his wife's death and Antonio abandoned her because he thought her dirty. Both Antonio and Pascual were rolling their eyes as Jezabel told Aurora that she was marked with disgrace. Her hatred came to the fore.
The Lunch Crowd went to their usual place talking about this.
Briana was en route to Edgar's office. Patricia tried to stop her but could not. In fact, Briana asked her to leave and walked away.
Jezabel knelt in front of Aurora and did another about-face, claiming she had no choice but to lie to her. Antonio called her a liar and a hypocrite. Aurora asked her why she offered Pascual money. Jezabel lied, saying she wanted to be sure that Angel was Gabriel before anyone told her and “for the good of the company.” Aurora saw the expressions on Pascual's and Antonio's faces and shoved her back, saying “I don't believe you!” and more in that vein. Jezabel got her crocodile tears in motion, tried playing the victim, and finally left with Demon. Aurora told the others she needed to talk alone with Angel and Pascual. Alone, she hugged Angel as Pascual looked up, as though thanking God.
Cassandra asked how does anyone know; Luis said DNA. Cassandra revealed she was pregnant by Edgar [Really, who cares?].

They talked about whose fault this was. She blamed him for his resignation. She even blamed “that stupid Helena.” He calmed down and asked what they should do now. She said it was time for the claws to come out. As he left she told him to be careful whom he trusts.
Antonio explained all this to Helena. She was incredulous at Jezabel's cruelty, but understood his silence through this. He had to remain silent to protect Angel. They reconciled. She said she had to calm Demon down. Antonio almost laughed at Demon's hatred of Angel and having to share the company and other assets with him.
Demon trashed his office for the nth time refusing to believe any of this [Really, Demon, grow up!].
Pintas' accomplice showed him the news on his phone.
A lawyer showed JC documents saying that Angel is the rightful heir to Aurora's assets pending a DNA test.
Pascual told Aurora that he had never expected to run into her again after leaving Las Flores. That he and Vicki were the best parents they could be to Angel. They had no contact with Jezabel until seeing her at the two weddings. Antonio, Helena, and JC came in. Aurora thanked them all and asked Pascual how she could repay him. She hugged Angel. Antonio and Helena looked like they were going to cry.

I was of two minds about Antonio's reveal but now I think it was a genius plan because making it public like this is a kind of protection. If anything were to happen to him there would be major consequences.
Patricia's about-face about Angel shows her own hypocrisy. I'd love for someone to reveal the skeletons in her closet.

I was surprised that Antonio revéales Angel as Gabriel. But you’re right, Jezabel better not touch him now. I thought Demon had had it with his mother but it seems they are together once again. I enjoyes his little tantrum, too bad Helena didn’t see it.

Angel/Aurora. Great recap, Urban! Whoa! At least at the beginning of the episode Jezabel is still planning to murder Angel. I wonder what kind of problems Pintas will cause for Jezabel now. Yep, Jezabel always "lies like a rug." I wonder if there will be an attempt to falsify Angel's dna test. By raising him mostly elsewhere, Pascual probably did save Angel's life.

Angel / Aurora #80
I know Pascual won't want to be paid for taking care of Angel but if I were Aurora I'd offer to pay for Anita's education.
There are so many other things to be resolved.
BTW, the next two recaps will be delayed a bit. Today's will not be up before tomorrow. Yesterday's not until sometime tonight.

El Angel de Aurora #81
Part 1 of 3
JC told Angel they had something important to talk about, that he is now a major shareholder under the name of Gabriel Campero Navarro. Antonio explained to Helena that this can be instantaneous. Pascual told Angel that this life belongs to him.
Someone looked in on Demon who was sitting on the floor with a drink in hand. He blew her off, then threw the drink against the wall.. He made a call and said “Tonight. It has to be tonight”
Patricia went to Jezabel's office for a conversation Jezabel had to have.
Angel had not yet gotten used to this. Aurora was still excited. She suggested that they and Pascual go to church together.
JC and Antonio talked about family matters. JC was hoping that Luis would heal and welcome Angel as a brother so the memory of his first wife will dissipate into peace. Antonio was hoping to continue as a new father figure to Angel.
Helena saw Demon's office and asked what was wrong. Demon said this was all too much and they should leave that night for Las Flores,
JC did not see a need because of Pascual. He saw Antonio as an intruder wanting to be near Aurora.
Helena was in no hurry, as she wanted to fulfill her father's project. She pointed out that nobody saw this coming. Demon started talking about having children [Aaaakkkk!] but Helena said all in good time.
Jezabel poured drinks as she explained she knew that Angel was Gabriel. Aurora came into her office. Patricia tried kissing up to her but scored no recovery points. After she left Aurora told Jezabel that Angel will take his rightful place in the company; the papers are being prepared. She then confronted Jezabel about the original crime and the deception she and Rocha cooked up about the death certificate. She told her she was going to find out everything and make her pay. Jezabel continued lying about her involvement. Aurora disowned her as a sister, saying she stopped being her sister on the day Gabriel was taken from her.
Demon's office was cleaned up. Helena suggested they go out. Angel came in, asking to speak alone with him. Helena left, but reluctantly. Demon tried to make fun of Angel who did not take the bait, saying they had much to talk about.
Demon told him that despite any DNA test they were not cousins. “You are only Antonio's puppet he's using to get Aurora.” and “We will never be equals.” Demon then sang his own praises as one of The Upper Crust and that Angel would never be one of that class. Angel knew that Demon and Edgar had edited the video and when Helena realizes this she will divorce him.
JC and Antonio almost argued but a phone call stopped that.

Part 2 of 3
Demon tried to gaslight Angel by saying Helena was no longer in love with him and that all was very good between himself and her. He started in on how long he and Helena knew each other and that now they're married and together 24/7.
Aquiles told Cassandra she was brave to be a single mother. The rest of them wanted to hold Edgar responsible. Pepe appeared to bug her again [making us think he needs a padded room and giggle jacket].
Briana showed the HR file to Edgar to find out what he knew. She wanted to know why Jezabel made her create this file. He said he didn't know. She asked if he helped Jezabel illegally. He told her not to bother him again with this and she told him that if “Romualdo” was the Pintas who raped Aurora and he was connected somehow to Jezabel they could take her down.
Pascual was happy at going to church, then Helena came out to tell Aurora she was afraid that Angel and Demon would fight.
Demon continued to goad Angel until he called him a child of rape. Angel grabbed him by the lapels just as Helena ran in with the others and Demon got back to name calling.
Edgar warned Briana not to mess with Jezabel because she was dangerous. If it were easy he would have escaped before this. He didn't know anything she was asking about. He only wanted to be left alone. Briana told Edgar she wanted him to succeed. He began sounding suicidal.
The name-calling continued, this time in front of Pascual, Helena, and JC with Demon blaming Angel foe it all. Aurora was not standing for this. Angel called him a coward, the insults continued.
Briana told Edgar about what was going on with Angel, who couldn't care less. His temper became worse. Briana told him Aurora had found her missing son, Angel. Ed looked a little shocked and a lot confused.
JC was annoyed. Demon continued being insulting. Angel defended himself against lies Demon created, then defended Pascual. Aurora told Demon things have changed and he had to accept that. Angel asked JC if they could speak in private.
JC and Angel went into an office for a stepfather to stepson talk. Now that he is a shareholder he needs to behave accordingly, that's all. Angel asked him if there was a way to prove that the video had been tampered with. Angel explained where and how it happened. He suspected that the device was the pen worn by Demon's lawyer.
Part 2 of 3
Demon tried to gaslight Angel by saying Helena was no longer in love with him and that all was very good between himself and her. He started in on how long he and Helena knew each other and that now they're married and together 24/7.
Aquiles told Cassandra she was brave to be a single mother. The rest of them wanted to hold Edgar responsible. Pepe appeared to bug her again [making us think he needs a padded room and giggle jacket].
Briana showed the HR file to Edgar to find out what he knew. She wanted to know why Jezabel made her create this file. He said he didn't know. She asked if he helped Jezabel illegally. He told her not to bother him again with this and she told him that if “Romualdo” was the Pintas who raped Aurora and he was connected somehow to Jezabel they could take her down.
Pascual was happy at going to church, then Helena came out to tell Aurora she was afraid that Angel and Demon would fight.
Demon continued to goad Angel until he called him a child of rape. Angel grabbed him by the lapels just as Helena ran in with the others and Demon got back to name calling.
Edgar warned Briana not to mess with Jezabel because she was dangerous. If it were easy he would have escaped before this. He didn't know anything she was asking about. He only wanted to be left alone. Briana told Edgar she wanted him to succeed. He began sounding suicidal.
The name-calling continued, this time in front of Pascual, Helena, and JC with Demon blaming Angel foe it all. Aurora was not standing for this. Angel called him a coward, the insults continued.
Briana told Edgar about what was going on with Angel, who couldn't care less. His temper became worse. Briana told him Aurora had found her missing son, Angel. Ed looked a little shocked and a lot confused.
JC was annoyed. Demon continued being insulting. Angel defended himself against lies Demon created, then defended Pascual. Aurora told Demon things have changed and he had to accept that. Angel asked JC if they could speak in private.

Pepe would not leave Esperanza alone. She was fed up, saying he ran out on her for ages and turns up now. He pleaded again, she told him off, and he brought up the possibility she took up with someone else.
Edgar would not believe this, saying that Jezabel made this up to rile Demon up. Briana said they were the most shocked of everyone there. In fact, they accused Antonio of inventing this. He still wasn't buying this or that Briana was there to pull him out of his depression.
Pepe persisted. Luis went out of line. Esperanza walked away and everyone else followed her.
Helena told Demon he had to respect Angel as his cousin. He wanted them to go to Las Flores. He was not willing to believe any of this. Helena threw cold water on that by reminding him of the photo Vicki had given her.
Antonio went to his office to meet with lawyers who informed him of his victory over a case.
Maggie said that this had to be resolved that night at Esperanza's place. Pepe wanted to marry her. However Esperanza used the unexpected arrival of Palmiro to stop this.
JC talked with Aurora and Angel about the recording and the possible difficulty of proving it had been altered.
Demon and Helena disagreed about the project with Demon taking the position that Antonio was using this to keep Helena near him. Back to the subject of reproduction she said she wanted a family but not to lose her father. As for Angel as much as he (Demon) might want to kill him, the only guilty party in this is Jezabel. If they had taken the baby back none of this would have happened.
Night
Anita sounded sad when hearing all this. Angel sat her near the altar to Vicki and spoke to the photo, saying that she was the best mother in the world.
Jezabel went to see Edgar whom she wanted to do something for her. She ordered Briana to leave.
Aurora went to the police to denounce Jezabel. Pascual came as the principle witness.
Angel was served with an eviction notice on the assumption that the house was only for Vicki for as long as she lived. Demon arrived to gloat about this.

Thanks Urban, a other great recap. Not sure where Demon will end up, he hasn’t really done anything criminal. Although i do think he started that fire at the fashion show. I was sure he said the house was in Helena’s name. But he’s having them evicted. He can’t even be nice to Anita and he wants a family. Good luck Helena!
I Still think Antonio is Angel’s dad. It’s strange that he knows Jezabel is a liar but he believes the DNA she showed him 30 year’s ago that whole Pepe thing is silly. They could have left that out of the show.

Angel/Aurora. Yep, another excellent recap, Urban. Demian is so spoiled! Throwing a glass against a wall indeed! I'm glad Helena is starting to stand up for herself. Finally! Aurora is on to Jezebel's evil actions. I totally agree about the Pepe episode, Liz.

Jezabel tried to forbid Edgar from having visitors. He told her she could not do that and that Briana is not another Cassandra. She suggested they go out to the garden, then spotted something on the coffee table. It was the Hr file. Edgar stopped her from opening it and they went outside.
Antonio and Helena went over papers about the project. She was to meet with Angel the next day.
JC and Aurora were told to not let their guards down. The desk cop called Pascual for his statement.
Helena said she could not work with Angel after what just happened, He had not seen the fight, but assumed that Demon had provoked it. Antonio reminded her that he and JC had the same competition but were able to be civil to each other. She tried to get Antonio to get someone else for the project but Angel was the author of the proposal.
Jezabel tried to seduce Edgar into helping her again. He did not want to do any more dirty work of hers or Demon's. He refused because of Luis. Briana came into the living room. Watching carefully, she quickly switched the lipsticks and sneaked out. [She should have worn gloves].
Helena said she could separate personal matters from business. She thought Demon could as well [What's happening to her IQ points?] Antonio said he was stubborn and he would address this.
Esperanza said she would not marry Pepe. Luis appeared to plead Pepe's case but nobody was impressed. Aquiles even challenged it,
Patricia looked at her phone for information about Pintas but found none. She called his phone but there was no connexion.
Pintas had told his accomplices about Angel being Aurora's son... and his, He was tired of keeping secrets. He knew that Jezabel had played him for a fool.
Patricia called Jezabel and left a message about the lack of info. She was getting more and more nervous.
Aurora told Antonio of her gratitude and happiness at his finding Gabriel and all he did for him. He apologized for the pain he had caused and explained that contacting the press was to protect Angel. Also “I know you feel nothing for me” which was contradicted by a hug. The smile she didn't see showed the undercurrent of sadness,
Antonio thought about this later, wondering “Why do things have to happen this way?” Helena came in with coffee. After all this he did not feel complete. He still loved Aurora. She understood. He told her he would do his best to move on.

Vampi and Guagüi swore to help Pintas who was swearing revenge.
Esperanza wrote something down. Rolando and Maggie arrived. So did Palmiro to compete with Pepe. Luis told them they had to make a gentlemen's pact. Pepe was shocked.
Aurora told JC she saw Antonio and wanted to see Angel. JC suggested that they should go to a romantic dinner instead and she could see Angel the next day. She was good for this but spoke of the happiness of finding her son.
Briana went to the Santos house. Anita told her they were being evicted. Briana said they should come with her to her place.
Pepe and Palmiro talked about fighting over Esperanza [Could this get any more absurd?].
Angel did not want any more problems. Briana had to rub his nose in again about Helena being married to Demon. Angel's barrio buds came back to ask “Where to?” Angel said the hotel,
Esperanza told Pepe he owed her 250,000 pesos [$12,067 USD].
Briana called Antonio, then gave the phone to Angel who told him about the eviction and the need to move.
Helena entered Demon's den. He asked her all about her evening with her father. His manner was weird. She told him that she was studying the plans and knew what the ad campaign would be. Angel was on the project. He did not like this. He went on his usual accusations, saying they had no proof that this was Aurora's son. He kept referring to Angel as a bastard and virtually accused her of cheating.
Luis told Aurora and JC about the weird situation; it sounded over with Pepe hitting the road. He mentioned going out for dinner. He then insisted that Angel could not live with them. JC said this was also Aurora's house

Jezabel saw her and asked if something happened with Demon. She then told Helena this was normal for him; he was spoiled and used to getting his way. She also described Aurora this way. Helena did not look convinced. Jezabel said this was because of their domineering father. Helena said that Demon does not dominate her(self) and that he could not accept that Angel was his cousin.
Aurora told Luis they were returning to her house. JC gave that a look. Antonio called to tell her about the eviction. Briana had called but didn't explain it well. He would send her the hotel's address. Aurora said they had to help. JC could not persuade her otherwise. Luis decided to accompany her since JC was still working.
Jezabel told Demon that Angel would take Helena away along with half of everything else. The phone on the desk rang. Jezabel looked at the screen and put it back screen side down. Like a James Bond villain she painted a picture of Angel getting everything, then Helena. She said told Demon he would have to arrange his murder.
Aurora asked JC to understand her. There was enough room for all of them but this did not suit JC. He understood that she would want Angel close but he did not want to live in the Campero mansion.
Jezabel held a piece of broken glass. She said Aurora threatened to denounce her; Demon said Aurora lacked the courage. They disagreed about Briana. He left the room, then left someone a message about a meeting in his office before Helena found him.
Patricia went to Teté's place. Teté asked her about her friend from the other night.
JC flashed back and concluded that Aurora and Antonio still loved each other.

Liz, that was a classic example of narcissistic projection. Narcissists like Jezabel put their shortcomings on others as though by doing so they impose it on them, like passing around a hot potato.
I'm sure Helena will hear about the eviction soon; that is a pattern in this series.
