PAPAS #66 Part 1

Previously, Circe is being shadowed. Tino and Checo meet up, Checo revealing El Calacas is alive. When they go to report it, they are told El Calacas is in jail, a glaring untruth.

Igor is well aware as to where Clara Luz and Pipe are but for whatever reason, seems to be keeping this from Guzmán. Fed and Igor discuss Guzmán bringing Maxiclick to financial ruin. Aidé sees Clara Luz and Pipe, much to her astonishment.

Guzmán tries to cover, explaining to Lichita that he gave Chofis a phone to keep tabs on her as she is about to embark on a sexual relationship with Oliver. The second part is true as Chofis selected her preferred method of birth control when she and Oliver visited the health clinic.

Guzmán then turns nasty to Lichita, inferring that neither her nor Chano’s jobs are safe. We learn that Lichita is in dire financial straits; her credit card is maxed out, daycare and school tuition payments are behind. Further, Chofis’ teacher reached out again saying there has been no improvement in her performance and she will be held back. Lichita confronts her daughter, saying she wants so much for her and wants her to rely on herself, not a partner.

We already know El Calacas has dirty dealings with Fed as he apparently does with Guzmán as well.

As we open, Guzmán and El Calacas are still talking about Tino; El Calacas mentions Fed.

Pipe, Emi and Scarlet confab as the hand puppets make another appearance. The other kids arrive and all go upstairs.

Clara Luz and Rudolf tell Aidé they are going to fight legally to gain custody of Pipe; she seems to say it will be a difficult task ahead of them. Aidé brings up Felipe (I assume to help financially). Clara Luz also brings him up later to Felipe who seems to be against the idea.

Tino speaks with Augusto and Bertha about Facundo. Tino pushes Augusto as to what he might know about Uli’s relationship with Facundo. He then admits to them that Facundo might be Uli’s attacker as Bertha exhales in horror.

Fed and Igor strategize as Fed is handed an envelope; she reads it but we don’t see what it is.

PAPAS #66 Part 2

Lichita is feeding Chuchito when Chofis comes in. She tells her she knows Oliver is her novio which Chofis denies, saying he is just her friend. She chases after Chofis. Lichita later finds the birth control and other information and starts lecturing her. Chuchito starts crying and she runs to him.

Aidé is expecting Tino but Dámaso arrives right ahead of him. Aidé is looking very Emma Peel like in an orange cat suit. Tino and Dámaso discuss Tino being the kids father.

Chofis texts Yeni and Lichita comes in and tells her to hand her phone over. Chofis is still denying but is silent when Luchita brings up Guzmán, citing the gravity of the situation. Chofis reluctantly hands the phone over.

Fed is on the phone, extremely agitated.

The kids are practicing a song and dance routine as Aidé, Tino and Dámaso clap enthusiastically. Dámaso, in his harem pants and slippers, thinks it will make a great video. He kneels down and strokes Aidé’s hands which annoys Tino no end. Dámaso kisses Aidé ‘s forehead and runs to the kids for a group hug. Namaste he tells them, then repeats the same to Tino. Tino stares and sort of shakes his head. Aidé asks Tino for help with Clara Luz and Rudolf’s problems. She and Tino caution the children not to talk about Pipe.

Circe approaches Tino and she talks about missing Checo. He smiles and tells her Checo is a good person. Unfortunately, Aidé hears that and walks over, interrupting, unhappy with what he said.

Igor and Guzmán have a conversation. Igor was asking about someone’s father, his father? the kids’ father? Whatever, Guzmán kicks him out looking upset. They have a later conversation about Maximax where Guzmán once again gets furious…

Circe has a “super plan” to get Tino and Aidé together, it involves music. The kids put their hands together and cheer.

Lichita knocks on Guzmán’s door and he motions her in, albeit very ungraciously. He seems to indicate he is the jefe and she seems to feel badly. She leaves politely. Igor comes in with a picture of a woman. Was it Aidé – it flashed too quickly for me to tell.

Tino asks Rudolf and Clara Luz about Felipe. The doorbell rings and Clara Luz runs upstairs. A man comes to the door but I don’t understand who he is or the purpose of his visit. It seems Rudolf might have mucked things up a bit. After, Tino and Aidé stare at each other.

Lichita tries to talk with Chano at work but he gets up and walks away.

PAPAS #66 Part 3 of 3

Rudolf and Clara Luz (along with an incognito Pipe in shades) are at a restaurant, meeting with a lawyer, Rosalinda. She gets a little handsy with Rudolf after Clara Luz leaves the table. She tells him things are complicated. I think she said she thinks he should file for custody as Clara Luz spirited Pipe away. She talks about jail and puts her hand on his arm.

Tino gets a text, something about Fed. He asks Aidé about her relationship with Dámaso. She gets a text from Dámaso and calls him. All of a sudden the kids all come barging in.

Chofis texts Checo wanting to see him. Guzmán appears and the first thing out of her mouth is that she told her mother him giving her the phone was innocent.

All the children, Clara Luz, Pipe, Tino and Aidé are together. Tino and Aidé are given microphones and the singing begins.

Igor comes up to Lichita, sitting alone. Seeing Chano, he calls him over (calling him” Chanook” over) and leaves. “Chano” Lichita says starting to cry. He stands up, puts his hand on her face and hugs her. I don’t believe she tells him anything specific as he tries to make her smile and gets up and hugs her again.

Back to Aidé and Tino…as the children chant, Tino starts singing as a glowing Aidé stands in front of him. She continues the song and as they sing in unison, they look adorable and sound good. Everyone waves and grooves in time to the music. As the song ends, Aidé and Tino lean forward in a long and lingering kiss as the audience smiles their approval.

There were so many quick scenes and brief conversations, many of which I could not follow. Kindly fill in on what I missed and/or got wrong. Thank you so very much.

Fede is on the phone with her lawyer. She has been served the abuse of a minor papers and things don't look good for her.

Guzman and Igor have the same father. Looks like the dad abandoned his mother and married Igor's mother. The later conversation is about declining 20% in their subscribers.

The photo was of Clara Luz in Alaska. Igor is definitely playing some game. I'm hoping he turns out to be a good guy after all

The guy who came to the door is soome famous musician I think and Rudolph used his image or music, not sure which, without his permission on viewfam.

Tino's text was about Fede being served papers.

Chofis actually was a bit upset with Guzman. She realizes he acted inappropriately with her, but he played the your mother doesn't understand you, she is trying to control you, blah blah, card ..Chofis buys his story unfortunately.

I hate the short quick scenes too, Diana.

Thank you for explaining Fed was served (finally!!). She can't get convicted fast enough for me.

"Guzman and Igor have the same father. Looks like the dad abandoned his mother and married Igor's mother" answered my question perfectly. Guzman has always seemed hateful toward Igor (not that he isn't that way toward everyone, but...) :). Now we see the root of it.

I did catch "Alaska" in reference to the picture of Clara Luz (thank you) but thought I heard wrong. I wonder what the backstory on that is... Igor turning out to be a good guy would be a great twist...

Too bad Guzman was able to manipulate Chofis once again. Is Lichita EVER going to tell Chano what is going on??

Las hijas, Capitulo 70
Part 1/3

Mar is out of jail and we notice that while Val and Ofelia have been busy praying to the Virgencita for her release, neither thought about bringing her a fresh change of clothes, or, at the very least, some sensible shoes.
Anyway, they are about to leave, but the press is there and Ofelia makes a statement. Her daughter is innocent and the person who accused her will pay for everything.
This is a direct message to Paula and she hears it loud and clear, while seeing the declaration on her phone. She gets so restless she even treats badly the other maid who is worried about Lupita.

Art and Camila tell Leo and Nick that dad is doing better and he wants to see Mar. Nick says they could just ask Mar to visit him since she's now free while waiting for the rest of the investigation and Lupita is a suspect, also. Camila is pissed, she's still sure Mar tried to kill their father. But Art is shaken, he had been so certain of Mar's criminal intentions and he ruined his relation with Valeria.
Yeah, bro, Nick concludes, you never listen.

Juan talks to his parents about Camila not being home. Poor girl, she's so worried about her father, hopefully the baby will be OK. Yeah, hopefully!
They switch on the TV and see Ofelia's interview. "Mar is free", Juan realizes. Susana doesn't see the news, Jacinto makes up an excuse about the car to get Juan out of the house fast. Now that Mar is free please don't go after her. She is in the past, you have something more important to think about, you have a family. Juan realizes his father is right, he has to think about his son.

Back at Val's place Mar looks a lot better and wow, she's even wearing comfortable shoes.
Nick comes to talk to her, Luis is better now and he wants to see her because he has no clue about what happened. Ofelia doens't want Mar to go, they provoked everything, they are the ones who have to explain to their father. But Mar can't let Luis go just like that, he's always been good to her and he deserves an explanation. She will go see him the next day.

Camila sees Luis in his room again, they have so many things to talk about, but she's so happy that he's doing better. Just don't go back to Mar, she adds, and she must be stupid because this is exactly what she wasn't supposed to talk about. Luis is confused, but Art arrives just then to get her out of the room.

It's night time and Leo is upset. He should have never made a press release about being the new boss. Paula tries to say he was only taking charge, dad will be proud, but Leo is not hearing it. He did it all for himself. His dad is all better now, he should have waited. And Mar signed the divorce papers. They are lost, dad will definitely hate him now. Paula tries to keep him in check, they only did what they thought was right. Leo is afraid Luis will ask them to leave the house. He will never have his respect. Paula asks him to take control of the situation or she will be the one to be disappointed in him. Leo is shocked she is so cold and unfeeling.

Rocio calls Ofelia, but she's with her daughters and doesn't want to talk now. Yes they are still alies, but let's talk later. When Val asks, she evades the question.

Mateo and Saul talk about Rocio, she could help them because she knows the Portillas. They have to at least try. Saul knows Paula is very clever, it will be very hard to find something against her. Mateo plans to get close to the family, he's sure that if Leo finds out the truth about Paula she will be lost.
 

Las hijas, Capitulo 70
Part 2/3

It has to be the next day because Mar is back to wearing couture pregnancy dresses and stilettos. She's come to see Luis, she's happy he's doing so well. Ofelia can't help but tell Luis the whole truth. His sons threw Mar in jail and accused her of trying to kill him. They even made her sign divorce papers. Mar asks her to stop, but Ofelia won't. Luis is impactado.
Art runs into Val at the hospital and is shocked to find out Mar is there. Dad is still very sick, he doesn't know what happened. They run to the room just as Ofelia is about to finish her story and Luis is getting a new full blown attack. Art arrives and asks Mar what did she say. Ofelia says she was the one to tell Luis the whole truth. Art gets mad, starts screaming at Ofelia, accuses her of only wanting to harm them. Val intervenes, he can't speak like this to her mother. So Art goes after Vall also, if she can't see her mother for who she truly is, then she is becoming like her, also. Ohhh, such a lovely declaration. In what world are these two supposed to end up together?
A nurse is already giving Luis oxygen, the doctor asks everyone to get out. Val gives Art the death stare as she leaves, Art tells Ofelia that if something happens to his father, so help him God!!! Ofelia asks Art to stop playing the victim while accusing everyone else. Val agrees, he doubted them all, but they are not to blame. Mar begs them to leave.

Nick and Leo are outside, Nick is sure Mar and Ofelia won't tell Luis anything. LOL. He is sure he will find out what happened eventually and that Leo orchestrated everything. He hopes he was honest when he said dad left him in charge.

Camila is home and tells Juan she doens't want to go see dad today because she might run into Mar. Juan insists she is innocent, but Camila knows what she knows! Juan asks her not to fuss, she could harm the baby.

Back home, Mar has called the hospital and found out Luis is OK. Ofelia wants him to get better so she can finish explaining him the whole truth. Val tells her this was not the right moment to talk and Ofelia agrees, but Art drove her crazy. Val doesn't want to talk about him and she leaves. Ofelia hopes that she will soon realize she's in love with the wrong man.
Rocio calls to ask about their pact now that Mar is free. Ofelia agrees to see eachother in front of Val's apartment building.

Luis has been taken to a private room. The doctor asks Art to avoid all other type of stress. Alone with his son Luis asks Art what happened with Mar, how could they accuse her. Ofelia is right, how could he behave like this if he loves Val? Art admits he lost his cool and Luis says he used to be like this when younger but he learned to control his emotions. Art should start learning, too, because love is the most important thing. Art says he doesn't want to lose Val. Then Luis suggests to do the hard work: apologize. What if she doesn't listen to him? Then he should learn to forgive himself.

Priscila asked Camila out for breakfast. She realizes she's not doing well, is her pregnancy OK? Camila says yeah, sure. Priscila thinks she should leave Juan and go back to her normal life. But Camila says she loves him, she can't lose him.


Art tells Nick he fought with Val because dad got worse. He treated her badly but it was because he was worried. He needs to do something for her, to impress her. But he needs access to her apartment and nobody around. Nick, ever the fool in love, agrees to help.
Surely someone as smart as he is has to see that these two are not right for eachother. So why push them together at every turn? Is he afraid that if Val were to be alone, he couldn't be able to hide behind the "she's dating my brother" excuse and he'd have to take action for himself for once in his life?
He calls Val making up a meeting so he has to leave the apartment. Ofelia wants to go say thanks to the Virgen and Mar goes with her.



 

Las hijas, Capitulo 70
Part 3/3

Leo goes to see his dad, also. He's crying, saying he's made a lot of mistakes but he's very sorry. Luis asks if things are going well with Paula, Leo can't answer. Luis says everything has a solution in this life. They hug.

Nick, Val and some of his team are having a meeting about their next steps for the sportswear line. Val offers her support once again, Nick is very appreciative. There is a lot of smiling hand holding as they both say thank you and "I only do it for you" and even Pedro takes notice.
Art sends Nick a message saying everything is ready, so Nick says they are done for the day. The guys leave, Val asks if they should go home together. Nick says he has some phonecalls to make, but first they talk about Art. Think about it well, he's very sorry. Val doesn't answer, if I were her I wouldn't give Art the time of day but I would tell Nick to stop butting in and … maybe take me out on a proper date?

Art is at the apartment building, the buidling manager hands him a key to Val's apartment at Nick's request.

Mar and Ofelia are at church, talking to the Virgen and giving thanks. Mar says that while in jail she thought about a lot of things, like the fact that she wants to work; she needs to for her baby. Ofelia thinks she can think about that later, after the baby comes. Maybe Luis could help. Mar doesn't want anything, so Ofelia insists, the baby will need all the help they can get.

Leo is home, he tells Paula he's so sorry for the way he behaved. He betrayed his father, he should have never listened to her. Paula once again plays the victim card, she only helped him get what he wanted. But Leo is done, she's only hurting him. He's done with her manipulations. She is kind of right, though, she did play with him, but he was a willing participant. Foolish, but very willing.

Rocio is in front of the building and she runs into Val. She asks for her help, Val doesn't want to be seen with her so she takes her upstairs. Uh oh…
In the apartment Val says they don't have anything to talk about. She notices the place is filled with flowers, but Rocio asks for her help who is her son, Art or Nick. Maybe do a DNA test. Val says no, there is nothing that she can do for her right now, maybe later. And pushes her out.
Once Rocio is out Val wonders who could have done all the decoration.
It was Art, who is out of hiding and asking an explanation about everything that he just heard. How long has it been that she knows about this? Val says Rocio has been talking to her for months, she didn't know what to do. Art is hurt, how could she know this and not tell him this entire time? She told him she hates lies and deception, but she's been lying this whole time.
He has a point, but once again, he's being so nasty about it.

Adriana, I missed Marvin sensible shoes. I keep noticing the new wardrobe every day of all the women though. I doubt the Portilla's allowed O and Val access to Mar's wardrobe when she was jailed and then divorced. I'm actually surprised she had a second maternity dress to wear the second day. Val hasn't done no days work in ages so how can they continue to afford to live, even if they have a rent free apartment?

Good call on Nick not being able to make a move on Val due to his own insecurities. Arturo is the worst boyfriend ever. 3 shows in a row I've watched him in now and this character is the least appealing he has played. I hope Univision gives him a rest, I'm burned out on this actor. Also Nick giving access to Val's apartment to Arturo was inappropriate imo. Have they ever made a show where nobody gets a HEA? This one is begging for it. Mar and her baby may be the only relationship that is worth rooting for, and Luis, after straightening out his kids, being reunited with his Cecilia I can see
 

Juegos #27

On top of mourning her pup and broken romance with Roberto, Luci now sees her padrino has feet of clay. She goes incommunicado with most everyone.

Paul is in town, but Pato tells him they need to keep their relationship low key until after the election. German is introduced to Paul. He walks away wiping his brow. So is he fixated on Pato now. I thought he was more into Memo. I hope I'm not homophobic, but I really can't get into these same sex story lines.

Memo has a secret drawer in his nightstand, but anyone opening the drawer would realize it is only half the depth the front shows. In this drawer is a photo, I think it is of Pato but I didn't get a close enough look. Also Fabiola's cell phone is there and he places Galleta's pink leash in it also. This guy is definitely a sociopath.

Elena goes to talk to Luci at her place, but she still is incommunicado, so Chofis will do. I learned a new word in English and Spanish in this scene, tanatóloga. Thanatologist. This is pretty much a grief counselor. She tells Elena to move on she needs to go through Tobi's things and box them up and donate them, etc. Elena is at peace in Chofis home and garden, I guess if she sells her apartment maybe she will move in. But what about Daniel and her piano? She hasn't thought through this very well. Omar is more practical in this case, keep the house, let the Ferrer's pay the hospital bill

Natalia is at Manalo's house/ office. He shows her the external hard drives off the capital case. She thinks this is great. No, unfortunately Fabiola took the crucial #3 hard drive.

Back at Elena's place she and Omar are packing up Tobi's possessions. Elena finds a #3 hard drive in a sock. They wonder what it can be. Omar thinks maybe it is porn or something, his private life. She thinks she should get Daniel to look into it to see what's on it, but in a later scene she has taken it to a pawn shop or Internet cafe. The guy tells her it's just a bunch of article and documents. The reason I thought maybe it was a pawnshop is the guy, who i think may have been a friend of her son's, offers to buy the hard drive. She refuses and puts it back in her purse.

Karina is back in the campaign clean up job. She needs to sin the father son relationship between Enrique and Fermin into a positive light. Of course they have to have a side of loving. Enrique tells her after he is elected they will be together officially. She leaves to quit her new job she had secured in her hiatus from the campaign job.

Adrian confronts Alex again, this time at her dad's cafe. He sees Daniel working together ( although Alex had pretty much told Daniel to quit, she doesn't want him in her space and he had handed her his apron) and goes ballistic again. So that of course drove a bigger wedge between Alex and Adrian. Adrian accuses Daniel of having the hots for Alex, which he admits, he is interested in her. Alex may not have been unhappy to hear it. In the end they agree they can work together. Dad had stood up for needing his help, and overruled his wife, Rebecca, who is only interested in having Alex dating the rich guy.

I'm not positive what brought Daniel to the cafe in the first place, but I got the impression he may be an architect major and dad, whose name I have yet to hear, wants to do some modifications to the cafe.

Francisco goes to see Fermin. The price for his not messing up the campaign is seeing his grandsons.

In the last scene Luci tells Enrique she knows about him and Karina.

There were other things happening, but those are what stuck 12 out hours after watching. Gabi is wanting to spend time with Luci and is sad about galleta. Luci isn't taking calls though so she misses that opportunity.

Adriana Noel, your recap (of yet another frustrating and disturbing episode) was exceptional.

This gem on Nick bears repeating in its entirety: "Surely someone as smart as he is has to see that these two are not right for each other. So why push them together at every turn? Is he afraid that if Val were to be alone, he couldn't be able to hide behind the "she's dating my brother" excuse and he'd have to take action for himself for once in his life?" Well said and frustratingly true.

"Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it" is tailor made for Ofelia. She could not contain herself, spilling all the rancid tea within moment. Her being able to self censor is an impossibility. She is fortunate Luis didn't pass then and there.

"Leo is shocked she is so cold and unfeeling". That's just the tip of the iceberg (so to speak).

Rocio is completely unraveling (not that she was tightly wrapped to begin with). I felt badly for Val but Art does have just cause for being upset. Something else to thank Ofelia for.

"Have they ever made a show where nobody gets a HEA? This one is begging for it". Agree Kat! Mar and her child "may be the only relationship that is worth rooting for, and Luis..."

Cher Adriana, Merci for another amazing review of every detail as we tumble and twist to the end . Love your writing style and attention to every moment .

The new and totally fine Pris kind of ticks me off . She revealed that she is still a rich snob when she advised Cami to return to her former wealthy life . Cami is putting herself in danger by ignoring her condition. I am wondering if Pris is going to be the one to rush her to the hospital thus completing Pris's redemption tour and end up with annoying , angry little boy Art. They deserve each other.

O can absolutely not keep her mouth shut. She had to immediately tell barely alive Luis what happened . I just cannot stand her and her lectures.


I think that Mar , Juan, and bebe and perfect Nick and annoying , angry Val will get HEAs. I think we will get to see Paula in drab prison khakis surrounded by unimpressed tough girls. Susan

Thanks Diana, another great recap. And thanks Kat, for adding details. This episode seemed to leap around a lot. With new characters too. The only thing I can add is Lichita told Chano she thought she could do it alone but she can’t. That was after Igor brought Chano over to a crying Lichita. I wonder if this means they’ll get back together. But I keep remembering Chano with Fed and decide they’ll never get back together.

Aide really doesn’t like Checo. I’m sure something will happen to change her mind, probably involving El Calacas.

I hope that kiss means Aide and Tino are together for the remainder of the series. I’m guessing Clara Luz and Rudolf are heading for some rocky times.

Thanks Adriana, another excellent recap of every crazy event. And this had a lot of crazy in it. A lot of why on earth…. As in why on earth did Ofelia go in with Mar to see Luis. Mar should have put her foot down and left Mom in the waiting room with Val. I really can’t stand Ofelia but think she’s probably going to be some sort of heroine who helps expose Paula.

And why on earth did Val bring Rocio up to her apartment. When they got up there she told her she couldn’t help her and told her to leave. That could have been done in two seconds on the street. I would have told Arturo the woman was some nutcase that has been approaching her. Because really that would be my truth. Although I hope I’m right. I don’t like to think Luis and his wife stole a child.

I was probably finished with Arturo several episodes ago. But if Ofelia was my mom and I was accused of becoming like her that would end it for me.

"Lichita told Chano she thought she could do it alone but she can’t". I so appreciate your posting this! My recollection of that scene is that Chano was a bit loving but unless he said something in return seemed rather noncommittal. Not sure, did I read that right? I don't think Lichita will forgive Chano for being with Fed (nor should she). Not only did he cheat but he cheated with a coworker, someone she trusted.

I hope you are right in that Tino and Aide will finally stay together. I hope annoying, calculating Damaso doesn't muck it up.

I finally caught up. Thanks, Adriana. The recap was excellent for such a “meh” episode.

Almost nobody ever learns a thing in this novela especially Ofelia the blabbermouth and meddler.

Luis had good advice for Art about controlling his emotions. He should have given the lecture to all of his kids.

How long until Cami colapses and has to be rushed to the hospital at death’s door? It might be a relief from the never ending Art, Ofelia,
And Leo angry outbursts.
 

PAPAS #67 Part 1

Previously, Fed was formally charged with abuse of a minor (Emi).

Guzmán, obsessed with covering his tracks and his scheming revenge plans, ignores the fact they are losing subscribers and the business is failing. We found out Guzmán and Igor share a father; who unfortunately left Guzmán’s mother to marry Igor’s mother. We see a photo of Clara Luz in Alaska; the significance yet to be revealed.

Clara Luz throws caution to the wind, hiding in plain sight, as she, Rudolf and Pipe meet with their new lawyer. Rosalinda bats her eyes at Rudolf but speaks honestly when she tells him things are complicated. She seemed to say he should file for sole custody of Pipe as Clara Luz took him without permission.

An overwhelmed Lichita tells Chano she can’t do this alone. Chano seemed sympathetic but will he do anything to help her? While Chofis did realize Guzmán’s actions toward her were wrong, he manages to manipulate her (yet again) by blaming her controlling mother.

It seems all Aidé and Tino needed to reconnect was some music, singing, microphones and their children beaming their approval.

As we open, Tino and Aidé’s long, passionate, lingering kiss continues. Everyone else quietly files out. Tino asks her for another opportunity as he gently rubs her lip with his thumb.

Checo and Lichita finally seem to be talking when Fed stomps over in her black boots. Chano walks away with some suggestive moves, insinuating he is hot to trot as Lichita giggles. Guzmán and Chofis are walking outside talking more about the cell phone, blah, blah, blah as she hugs him and calls him tio. He asks her to trust him, badmouthing her mother. He is the only one she can trust.

Aidé and Tino talk about getting back together. She tells him they have so many issues, Emi, etc. She says everything is complicated and again stresses they have serious problems. They hold hands as annoying Dámaso comes in with his usual ”namaste”. He seems to thank them both. After Tino leaves, he questions Aidé and she answers that Tino is noble and a wonderful father.

Clara Luz swivels in her chair as Rudolf comes in. Something is mentioned about a romantic moment.

Guzmán has Lichita and Fed in front of him in his office. He scolds Lichita and then snaps his fingers as she rather shamefacedly leaves. He talks to Fed about Tino, wanting him to be found guilty of fraud. He snaps his fingers again as she and Igor leave. He stands up; it’s obvious he is losing it.

Aidé walks Dámaso to the door; after he leaves she shuts it and sort of raises her eyebrows. She calls all the kids down. Are you back with our father they all enthuse. Tino’s phone rings and he answers saying “Felipe?” but no, it’s Fed. She starts talking frantically telling Tino she loves him and trying to get out of everything she is (rightly) accused of. He hangs up quickly. When Aidé questions him, he tells her his heart is hers. Rudolf and Clara Luz show them a video which the four discuss.

PAPAS #67 Part 2

Fed mutters Tino is “mio” as Igor gets in his VW bug and drives away.

Chofis texts Yani complaining of problems with her mother. Checo calls her, checking in. We see he is keeping an eye out…

Igor arrives to report Guzmán is going to sue for Clara Luz abducting Pipe. What did the lawyer say Aidé asks. When Igor leaves, Clara Luz runs after him and thanks him saying he is a good man. We see a red tipped tentacle holding a cell phone taking pictures.

At Chano and Lichita’s, all seems relatively calm for a change. Chano is going to keep an eye on Chofis…Checo talks about the university, Chofis gives her mother the angry side eye.

Aidé talks to Lila and Emi; it is obvious she loves them and they, her.

Lichita checks on Chofis who is giving her the silent treatment. I think Chofis thanks her for what she didn’t tell Chano about Guzmán. She says something to Lichita that obviously upsets her…Chano and Checo are bonding when Circe and Tino arrive. Circe apologizes to Chano.

The next day Igor goes into Fed’s office. She reveals she knows he saw Clara Luz, she has the pictures to prove it!

Rudolf and Rosalinda talk as she strokes his hand with hers. She tells him to trust her as she continues fondling his hand.

Tino and Aidé talk about the fraud charges as Clara Luz smiles at them and leaves the room. Aidé tells him what a good man he is.

Clara Luz tells Lichita she is desperate about Pipe; Lichita tells her about Chofis and Guzmán.

Pipe is perfect Clara Luz tells Aidé and Rudolf later as they brainstorm. Tino comes in; I think he has been cleared on the fraud charges (?) the four dance and are thrilled.

Guzmán throws a glass against the wall as he berates Fed, livid about Tino’s situation. “Tino, Tino” he screams. He goes after her and she calls him sick. He grabs her and tells her she is responsible but I think she calls him a pervert which enrages him further.

The Fab 4 continue their celebration as Aidé feels faint, holding her head and sitting down. Don Jorge arrives and has some good news. I only wish I could translate what it is.

PAPAS #67 Part 3 of 3

Fed breaks away from Guzmán as she tells him he is mentally infirm. He punches her in the mouth as she screams at him and leaves.

Uli and Circe meet with Aidé. She is in tears that Tino isn’t their biological father. They comfort her and Circe says Tino is their father of the heart.

Fed shows up at the gate of Tino’s. He is not happy to see her. Not sure what she says initially about his case but she says she loves him.

Yani visits Chofis and discuss a classmate’s pregnancy. Someone is dead; the girl’s boyfriend?

Rudolf and Rosalinda meet again. To his shock, Rudolf reads the document and his is the only name on the custody request. She tries to explain why…

Dámaso holds Aide’s hand as they sit by a fountain. While I can’t translate, Dámaso seems to imply that Guzmán loved her. She disagrees, saying no, they were only friends. He seems to be trying to convince her otherwise. Then, to our utter shock, she stutters that Guzmán cannot be the father of my children. Unbelievably, Dámaso shakes his head yes!!?

Tino continues to berate Fed for what she did to Emi. Then she pulls out her trump card; papers “proving” her pregnancy. He stares, hardly believing what he is hearing…

Tonight, I was trying to fly from one quick scene to the next. Yet for the most part, I only understood words here and there, this was way over my head and just too much to try and translate. Hopefully, I was able to capture some things correctly. Kindly fill in and/or correct if you are able.

Las hijas #71 part 1

Well every other time Arturo blew up at Val and didn't trust her she kicked him to the curb, but no, this time she begs and pleads with him to listen to her. Even though she has no clue if he or Nick is Rocio's child, he doesn't believe her. Now would be a good time to go check your own DNA, Arturo. She follows him into the hall with him still screaming at her. As he waits for the elevator Nick arrives and has no clue what is going on. Arturo decides to take the stairs and Val goes to Nick for his always convenient shoulder to cry on. He is bewildered...


Roxio runs into O and Mar downstairs, she is getting impatient, she went up with Val but still no answers. Mar wonders who this strange lady is. 9 says be patient, I'll get you the answer.

Looks like maybe Leo is going to kick Paulina to the curb at long last. We can hardly wait. She is packing her bags. She is tired of him too.

O is out for a meal with Mar and explains who Rocio is and why she doesn't trust Luis. Mar says she knows Luis too well, he would never steal a child. O doesn't want her to say anything to him, she is going to discover the truth.

Well day turns to night quickly in this day. The suitcase is packed and Paula is playing Leo with tears about how he hasn't treated her like trash ( no that was how Mar was kicked out remember, with her clothes in garbage bags). Her son story doesn't make him beg her to stay so she leaves. Good riddance, but we know it's not the 2nd of her.

In Val's apartment Nick has gathered all the floral offerings and candy onto one overflowing table, so full the last bouquet falls to the floor due to lack of space. He doesn't understand how their relationship went from this to I never want to see you again. Val is worried about Arturo and thinks Nick should help him, he has no clue how to help if he has no idea what is going on. Well maybe she didn't want him to seek him out, because that is what he is going to do and she tries to stop him.

Pris and Cami are talking in Priscilla's car. Pris doesn't care where she lives or who she is married to. She has missed her
Cami has missed her to. Pris says te quiero. Gee, maybe they can give up men and have there own HEA. Nick calls Cami asking if she has heard from Arturo. Pris asks is everything okay. No, Arturo has had a big fight with Val again. Hopefully they are over for good. Pris looks hopeful.

Paula, looking like Morticia Addams ( and this remark is dating me) stands in the open doorway. She can't believe he is letting her leave. But wait. Here comes Leo rushing down the stairs telling her to wait. Don't leave. Paula comes back, my love, kissy, kiss.

O and Mar return to Val's apartment. She is huddled under a blanket, looks like she got rid of the fliers. O asks what's wrong. Arturo was here, filled the room with flowers and then it all went wrong and he's gone.

And if course he is gone drinking away his sorrows as usual. He is an alcoholic in training, good riddance to him Val. Guess who is the first to find him, Priscilla. She supposedly is meeting friends. She tells him old habits die hard, when things went wrong with us you would go drinking too. Arturo doesn't want to talk. She sits by him anyhow. She says you have has enough, leaves some bills on the bar and bundles him out of there to take him home.

Nick is visiting Luis. Luis wonders what's wrong. Nick is concerned about Arturo and Val. Luis tells him it is up to them to figure it out.

Mar tells her baby Luis would be a good dad, she doesn't believe the things I believes of him. Val comes in with her long face. Mar says if you love him it will work out. I think Val says she doesn't think it will ( probably because she was only ever infatuated with him).


 

Las. Hijas #71 part 2

Well crazy Priss brought Arturo to her house, not his, though this looks like a different bedroom than she had earlier. Val doesn't understand you but I do as she kisses and pushes him to the bed. He reciprocates, initially. But then he says no and apologizes.

Mar and Val talk some more. Val just doesn't seem how it will ever work with Arturo. Mar asks her what do you want in a relationship? Peace and security. Definitely neither I have found with Arturo.

Arturo thinks he should go home .. Priscilla tells him you are too drunk, pick a guest room and sleep it off. He says thanks and wanders out. Old Priss throws some things off from her nightstand.

O is giving Val love advice. Forget him, stop thinking about him and poof, you're over him. O is off to take care of things.

Priscilla is eating breakfast when Arturo stumbles down the stairs. He wants to leave, she convinces him to stay by changing the subject, wondering how the sportswear line is going. He says it was going great, but then dad removed his backing. Priscilla says and now what. We have to find another backer. (Is Priscilla going to get daddy to help?).

Cami is sitting in bed looking at her her phone when she has another pain. Juan is there and asks what's up. She claims it just normal pains. (Juan and Cami need a What to expect when you are Expecting book). Juan wants to take her to see her dad and to make sure all is well with her

Luis gets a positive checkup from the cardiologist. He can go home, but he needs to change his work stress. Go far away ( back to the ocean with Mar maybe, he was pretty happy there). Nick is going to get him a change of clothes and send the chauffeur.

Arturo makes it home and Leo makes some snide remark about his return to his old drunken ways. Arturo is not in the mood and pushes Leo into a column. Paula to the rescue. You two need to get along. We are family. Arturo sneers family as he goes upstairs. Paula kisses Leo goodbye, have a good day.

Nick calls Cami. Dad's going home. Cami tells ju6ill see dad at home. You can go to work. He wants to be sure she is ok. Yes. The good news acted like a tonic on her she's all better.

O is at Rocio's. Rocio's got a new plan, some nice young man she met at the hospital is going to help her. O tells her you can't trust strange men, or men at all. I'm close to Nick now. I'll get the DNA from him. If it's not him, then it's Arturo. I'll get the sample or my name isn't Ofelia Garcia. Have faith in me and no one else.

Luis is home, ensconced in his bed. Nick tells him to rest up. Cami will be by later.

Paula is at the jail visiting Lupita. Bunch of ill get you a lawyer, I believe in you,...did Paula suggest she plead guilty?

Arturo is at Cecilia's grave yelling at her. Why did you keep it from me that I or Nick are not your son?



 

Las hijas #71 part 3

Well so much for Luis resting, he's at Val's place. O wants him to leave Mar in peace. Luis says the only one that can tell me that is Mar. Luis wants her to move back to the house so he can fulfill his part of their agreement...she says ok, but....

Nick is still calling Arturo who is not answering. He leaves him a message and gets a reply , but it's Cami. He calls her. Has she heard from Arturo. He should be at the house. He spent the night with Priscilla ( Cami and she ate eating out together again).

Leo is in the office. Hector comes in. I think the board has called a meeting. By the way, here my resignation, good luck. Hector walks out with Leo yelling you can't quit ( didn't he threaten to fire him a couple of days ago?)

Val is sitting in the hall outside her apartment. Nick sees her and they talk. He still doesn't understand what went wrong with Arturo. She says thank you for always listening to me. I feel like you are the only one that understands me, that I can always rise above challenges. That's because you are that person, Val.

Paula tells Rosita to prepare a good luncheon for Luis. Rosita tells her he went out. Paula leaves. As she enters the foyer Luis and zmar enter. Paula is less than pleased, but look who is also there,. O is back! Ofelia in rare form swans in like a Valkyrie warrior defending her daughter. Paula pretends to gush over Mar, I always believed you were innocent. Mar looks at her in disdain .O gets between them and says get away from my daughter!

Kat, your recap was marvelous, thank you so much.

So many great lines but my favorite was "Ofelia in rare form swans in like a Valkyrie warrior..." Fabulous!

Paulina's scheme to stay in the hornet's nest seems to have worked. Now she can try once again to make Mar's life even more miserable as she seamlessly tightens the noose around Lupita's neck.

Knowing how his children have treated Mar, forcing her to agree to divorce begs the question as to why on earth is Luis asking her to return. It's not safe for her there, what else needs to happen before he admits that?

I sort of can't blame Arturo for being upset with Val but if it wasn't this, it would have been something else. Time for Val to move on to someone better. Nick needs to find another relationship to resusciate. Val and Arturo's is now DOA.

Pris hasn't changed. She's just gotten craftier, cloaking her true motives in a calmer but just as deadly demeanor. That said, I was surprised Arturo didn't sleep with her.

I can't wait to see where Rocio pops up next...

I'll probably miss some of your questions Diana posting not as a reply, but here goes.

Chano and Luchita have decided to make another go of it. He's moving back home. The kids are happy, though Chofis is afraid it will just be a lot of arguments like before

Tino being free seemed out of left field. I expected a trial. Maybe the case was dropped for lack of evidence. Apparently there was a bank account in his name but no money was in it so he obviously didn't steal the money.

Fede did get the USB from Igor in exchange for not using the Clara Luz photos she took. Still not sure what game Igor is playing.

None of the guys in this show are heartthrobs to me so all this lusting over rude, Chano and Tino I don't get. If anyone is the baby daddy of Fede it's Chano, which does not bode well for his and Luchita's reconciliation.

The girl that was pregnant apparently got an abortion but it killed her. I'm thinking Chofis will wait a while for sex unless Guzman rapes her somewhere down the line

The guy that came to the door ( which they never lock even though Pipe and Clara are supposed to be laying low) has agreed they can use his image or whatever he is. He is a fan. And by the way he has a sense of the family growing. Spoiler, pretty sure Aide's dizziness means she is pregnant.

Ahhh, so Chano is moving home. I wonder if he and Lichita wll end up raising the baby which is likely his as you noted. No spoiler but I sincerely doubt Fed is going to make it to the end of this.

I knew someone died but didn't realize it was Chofis' pregnant classmate; that was an important clarification.

I also thought Aide might be pregnant; her "spell" seemed different from her previous ones.

I never saw the exchange either. I wonder if they are cutting scenes. I I figured it out when Fede went to Tino and explained how she kept him out of jail. Depending how far along she is, maybe Facundo is the daddy.

I'm still not convinced Dameso isn't the twins dad. He offers himself up as a father figure to them in his discussion with Aide. I imagine a DNA test would rule Guzman out, but aide would hate for them to have him as a father so she doubtfully will pursue that theory which leaves Dameso clear of raping an unconscious aide. He told her he went home early the night of the incident.

On Fridays I watch Juegos on Saturday. I figure I have all weekend to do that one. Generally it takes until 11 or so to finish Las hijas. Only 2 more weeks till the 2 early shows end. 3 in an evening in the summer is 1 or 2 too many.

It's planting season now and we've finally had some rain so I'm getting a late start in the evenings since I'm trying to get my vegetable garden in and flower beds weeded. it stays light until 8:30 and I don't get home until 5, then time to fix dinner, etc.

Kat, you might be right in that they are cutting scenes.

Last night, there was a quick promo for A.mar, donde el amor teje sus redes which is replacing this. Unfortunately, I didn't see the date it starts. There should be 13 episodes of Papas left however, if they are all aired, the finale (if there are no preemptions) should air on Wednesday, May 14. Finales almost always air on Fridays or Mondays so who knows...There is a lot to wrap up so I would loathe it if important threads are cut this late in the game.

I also think that Dámaso is the twins father. He is no prize but the thought that Guzman could be the father is sickening. I hope the writers didn't choose that route.

Good luck with your garden! It's way too cold here in New England to even think about planting!

Thanks once again Diana, for a great recap, and Kat for filling in details. I like Tino but not of the other men really appeal to me. I don’t understand the lawyer being so into Rudolf, both Rudolf and Clara Luz are her clients. She basically told Rudolf Clara Luz will be in jail. He needs a different lawyer.

I thought Aide must be pregnant but it seems a long time ago that she and Tino had sex. They were still in her house. Damaso seems like the likely dad of the twins. Although he and Guzman are both real lowlifes. I hate for it to be either one of them.

I know that when Fed showed Igor the pictures she took she asked for the USB and I just assumed he gave it to her. She did later tell Tino it was she that got the charges dropped and not his lawyer. Or she provided the information to his lawyer. I hope Tino doesn’t take her word for the baby being his. Chano should realize it’s his. I can see him being proud of his manliness and blowing his relationship with Lichita. Although they weren’t together when he was with Fed. Although he did trick Lichita into the hotel weekend the first time! What a mess! Another show with two babies and same dad either for real or pretend..

I loved your recap, Kat. Better than the show! The best thing that happened in the show was when Hector quit. Since he and Nick both told Leo he wasn’t ready for the job I’m expecting him to blow the meeting. Poor Luis can’t retire or take it easy with Leo taking over the business.

Arturo is a bad catch and Val is well rid of him. I hope she realizes that. When she told Mar what kind of man, or relationship, she wanted she ended up describing Nick. I guess we knew Priscila wasn’t really cured. I hope Camila realizes her friend is nuts.

I guess Mar brought her mom with her for protection! I’m ready for Paula to get caught. I wonder what Mar will think when she learns Lupita is in jail. She knows it was Paula. I think Paula told Lupita to say she did it. Lupita was telling her “but I’m innocent”. She was also told not to mention the paintings. She’s as gullible as Mar.

Val only had a few interactions with Rocio and never wanted to get involved. I think she was right to not mention what Rocio said. I still think Rocio is a little nuts. Is she going to get away with killing the aunt? Ofelia would be better off working with Saul’s brother.

Luci makes a deal with Enrique, either you tell the family ( initially I thought she meant Ines but a later scene affirms she wants his sons to know also) about your affair or I will. He tries to justify it and keep her love for him. He lives ones, it's just a lapse he had. Don't destroy our father daughter relationship over this.

Natalia is still out of town at Manalo's researching the capital crecient case. She told Chofis she is doing an out of town job when she gets a concerned call about where she is since she hasn't been back to the hostel. We learn that Luci's parents had a car accident and the car burned up in the event.

Francisco is asking Fermin how much do you want to go away from the grandson's lives. We learn that Fermin was Francisco's chauffeur when Enrique was a boy. Enrique calls a family meeting, without Luci, to discuss something. Luci figures it's the affair. No he tells the story about his abusive story. Pato wants to see abuelo, he wants to hear both sides.

Paul is unwelcome in Ines world so back to the hostel Pato and Paul go. Paul walks in the barrio and the two motorcycle thugs beat him up. Memo "saves" him.

Gaby feels bad about how she treated Luci and wants to see her to apologize. Karina brings her to the house and Luci of course forgives her. Gabi does say if Dad dates in the future you would be my choice...Karina leaves Gaby with Luci, she has an appointment. Roberto leaves the precinct and sees Victoria and Joachin kissing, so that cat is out of the bag. He goes to see Luci and apologizes for his brutish jealous behavior. She forgives him and they kiss. Who is watching Gaby now?

Fermin comes to lunch at Enrique's house. The grandson's get to meet him. Pato with a hug, Adrian a handshake. He tells Adrian he looks like his grandma. Karina texts Enrique. She is outside. Enrique goes to see and talk to her to explain his recent behavior to her. Luci found out about us. Meanwhile Fermin wants a nice cold beer. Ines goes to get him one. There are security cameras of the entryway. She sees Enrique and Karina arguing and him grabbing her. She turns up the sound and learns they have been lovers for 2 years.

So Prissy is still crazy and still obsessed. That answers that question! So much for emotional health, though I guess going back to the scene of your obsession is no better for a recovering crazy person than hanging out in a bar would be for an alcoholic.

So, if Val was wrong not to tell Art, then she must be making a mistake in not telling Nic what's up now. But if you ask me, Art running straight to Cece's grave to yell at her for lying to him lends more credence to Val's take on the story. I mean where's the questions? Where's the wondering? The benefit of the doubt? If someone came up to me and claimed that my mom wasn't my mom, etc etc etc; I'd have to ask a whole lot of questions and get a DNA test and some PROOF before I'd accuse mommy of lying to me and go around yelling but Art always yells first and asks questions later!! I wonder how Nic will react?

It was interesting when Val was talking to Mar, and she told her that she doesn't think that Art is the type of man she wants to be with. As much as she likes him, she recognizes that he's not the type of person she wants to be with, I wonder if the writers will stick with that? Or if they will put Val and Art back together. I hope they keep them apart! Both because I think Val and Nic are better together and because I think that's a good message - sometimes you can be really infatuated with someone, and they are just not the right person for you. I've experienced that more than once and it's not easy to accept.

I can't believe Lupita doesn't even suspect that Paula set her up!!! Mar isn't the only naive dummy in this story! Lupita actually tried to convince Paula that she was innocent so she would help her.... smh!

Liz, I agree Val didn't need to tell Arturo about Rocio. I wonder if the Portillo's adopted the baby because she was in an asylum or something and she renounced her rights. I didn't feel like Rocio killed the aunt, any more than o pushed Gloria down the stairs. It seemed like Graciela and she were arguing and she pulled away and stepped into the path of the bus. It may need a revisiting of the episode to clear it in my mind. I still wish Leo were the non Portillo. Arturo and his irrational behavior also seems a likey candidate, though all along I figured it's been Nick.

Thanks for adding about Lupita. I was so disgusted with Paula in that scene I just wanted to be done with it. The lack of prints on the bottle should be a red flag to the police, also the fact she still has them days later.

Yes, speaking of obsessive. What is Ofelia's obsession with being the only one you can trust!!! I mean she might actually have a point this time about trusting strangers -given it's Saul's brother - but the way she's like, don't trust a stranger man, or a man, or anyone but me!! ME ME ME ME ME! Does she need to be the savior that much? Does she need to be the winner? Or does she just want to be the one to get the juicy gossip?

Darcy, I also hope they have Nick and Val as the HEA. After the way Arturo acted and trash talked Val to Nick,it's time for him to say, all right buddy, you had your chance and you blew it over and over, it's my turn now. I almost expected Val to tell Nick about Rocio. Perhaps in the next episode.

Kat, you are amazing juggling all these crazy shows, characters, and storylines. Thank you so much .

I still think that Rocio's baby actually did due at birth, but she is convinced that either Nick or Art is her son.
The writers have really changed Art's personality. At the beginning he was a partying play boy trying to get Prissy off him. Then, he got obsessed with Val and doggedly and patiently pursued her and coming to her rescue...after the house fire, getting to Mar when Juan was in the hospital. Now suddenly he is an angry , suspicious , yelling mess .This is not good writing . The writers are clearing the way for Val to end up with stable, calm, loyal , efficient , understanding Nick while Art visits his dead mother and screams and cries to her .
Uh oh ,the old BSC Pris is throwing stuff in the floor again. She's backkkkk.

I agree with Diana and Susan: Yes, the new and improved Priscilla was all a ruse. I hope she and Art get married “in the church” and end up being each other's anvil. What a sorry pair!

Diana, I was also surprised Art didn’t sleep with her. A pregnant Priscilla pressuring Art to marry her would have been a good twist.

I fail to see why Rosalinda seems so interested in Rudolf. She hasn't the slightest empathy or sympathy for Clara Luz; all she did was take back her child that was being held from her!

My thought on Art not sleeping with Pris was that they would end up together. Like seeks like after all...ack.

Kat, thanks for all the excellent recaps. I would have been totally confused without them. And I’m finally caught up! I like this show but there are too many bad guys! The good guys have their work cut out for them. I guess Memo and Francisco are the worse. Killing Luci’s dog was awful. Now the “saving” of Paul. Is it so he can be a hero or does he have other plans? My thought was he wants to seduce Paul to hurt Pato. Or to have him break up with Pato so Memo can comfort him.

I liked Karina at first but she’s using her daughter to get even with Lucí or her ex. Monday should be interesting.

Liz, I agree, too many bad guys, especially in the police department. The lady in the records office seems to be dirty also. Hopefully Victoria will learn what a bastard Joachin is, sooner than later. Wonder what direction Ines will take after finding out about Enrique and Karina. So far the violence hasn't been too in our face, thankfully the dead dog was hidden from our view.

Thanks for the compliment that I am helping keep things straight for you. It takes a while to get the names and characters straight, especially when watching multiple shows.

Definitely too many bad guys. Your recaps help so much, Kat, on all the shows! You have an amazing ability to do them so well and so fast! All the recappers have such a talent for detail. This really helps us follow the storylines and has really made a difference for me in Juegos. It is confusing keeping all the characters straight, and I’d be lost without the recaps!

Now we have two abuelos. Interesting one served the other! That gives more insight into Enrique.

I love watching him listen to the piano. He becomes a different person. This may be really far-fetched, but I wonder if he might visit more often for comfort and reminiscence and what that might lead to. But, he cannot lose the election, so not likely.

The sisters seem to have had a full life before and during marriage. If that’s all we see of Soler, I wonder what that was about. Might Ines’s sister get pregnant? I also wonder about what drives Memo. It has been suggested he might be Enrique’s. If so, does he know it and is taking out his anger on everyone because of it? It’s also possible that Pato or Adrian might have different fathers.

With so many bad guys, the good ones need to get together soon!

Karina is so ambitious that she has no moral compass. She is very savvy politically and appears to love Gaby, but I agree she still uses Gaby when convenient.

I like the two reporters looking into the old case. The connection between it and the current events will be very interesting to learn.

Memo is really menacing and hasn’t shown any redeeming qualities yet.

Looking forward to finding out more next week.

Babachita, it was me theorizing Memo's paternity. I think because I've watched too many Telenovelas now I expect secret love children. I thought it might be Enrique as the father because memo has such a fixation on being liked by him. That was before Soler (his characters name is escaping me) showed up in the story as an old flame. He could be the dad also.

Thanks for interacting with me. It keeps me motivated to keep putting up short recaps. In 2 weeks, if I don't get sucked into new shows, I'll have more time to devote. I'll probably continue to post the next day as it is on fairly late and I get up before 6 a.m.

Kat, I will echo Liz and Babachita in letting you know that I am very grateful for your recaps . This is a good show , but it has so many storylines and characters,.
Hmmm..it will be interesting if we eventually find out that some of these guys have a different daddy from what we have been led to believe. Andrian resembles Enrique in his physique, hair color, and facial features,. He also has his addictive tendencies and violent nature. However, Pato doesn't resemble Enrique. Pato is smaller and blonde . hmmm . Memo could be Enrique's. He has a big build and certainly is brash and violent . Memo is a danger to everyone around him . susan
