La despedida (The Farewell)
Eloisa stands at Gabriela’s door breathing heavily in and out…we see Octavio walking down the hall bending down to pick up some clothes as he approaches the front door. He opens it but there is no one there; the folder of photos is on the floor. He picks it up and looks at them. “Amor” he calls to Gabriela who is in the shower. He thumbs through them and is not pleased but she calls the pictures “art” …They kiss and collapse on the bed.
A distraught Eloisa pulls in her driveway, managing to stumble out of the car. Octavio’s lies while they were in the shower reverberate through her head. She looks at a picture of her family on the wall and downs a shot. She wreaks havoc on the bed, ripping off the comforter and taking it down the laundry. She starts going through drawers, packing (what I assume) is Octavio’s clothes as she collapses on the bed. Octavio is now dressed for work but Gabriela’s tentacles are around him as he sits on the bed. But he is not out of the woods as after he leaves the building, he is told that Senora Gabriela was there! He is impactada. Octavio calls Gabriela: I’m not sure at what point he realizes Samuel took the picture but he definitely knows now.
Eloisa is soaking in a bath, looking totally out of it as she recalls telling Samuel how wonderful the pictures of Gabriela were. Octavio calls Eloisa’s mother who is making her way through the airport. She will take a taxi.
Pablo goes into the coroner’s office…
Octavio comes home, surreptitiously, walking carefully and attentive to his surroundings. He goes from room to room then sees the open bottle of liquor on the dining room table. He finds pillows strewn around the bedroom floor and clothes pulled out of the closet.
Octavio rushes into the bathroom thinking the worst as he moves toward Eloisa, lying in the tub, eyes closed. She then opens her eyes and chases him out.
At the morgue, we see the deceased’s wife cry. We see it is the same man who met with Pablo previously.
Next we see the man, very much alive, climb over a railing as a crowd gathers below. As we fear, he jumps to his death below. Pablo is attentive and kind but I can’t provide the dialogue. I can only make outa few words his widow utters including “scandal”, “lawyer”, “children”, oh and “Octavio Hildago!!
Eloisa is now dressed, sitting on the bed as she and Octavio talk. She says Samuel took the pictures of the amante of his father, whom he’s been seeing for two years. She hurls accusations at him and he finally looks a bit chastised. He seems to try and mount some sort of pathetic defense but I can’t follow.
Eloisa goes to the refrigerator and pours herself a glass of water. Antonia, Samuel and Matilde all arrive home together. They see her face and immediately know something is seriously amiss. They ask how she is and at that moment, Octavio comes out wheeling suitcases. They stare as he asks them to sit down. “Hijos”, he begins, telling them he and Eloisa are having problems. The children are upset. “There is another woman” Matilde says accusingly. Antonia tries to get her to stop; Octavio looks guilty as sin and Eloisa looks sad. Octavio decides to leave as Matilde spits out that he is mentirosa. Antonia, her father’s favorite, goes after him. Samuel repeats there is another woman as he tries to process. He hugs Eloisa.
Diana
Antonia follows Octavio outside saying “papa” with one big ole solitary tear running down her cheek. She asks if it is true as she looks on wild eyed; I’m not sure if he answers. He holds her face in his hands as she cries and he hugs her, leaving her with a kiss. She tries to compose herself. Antonia seems unsympathetic and after arguing with Samuel stamps off without so much as a single hug for her mother. Samuel reassures his mother that all is well. He asks her if she brought the pictures to Gabriela’s. Oh dear.
Gabriela is venting to Karen.
Outcast Octavio checks into a hotel as we see Eloisa pulling down the covers as she lays on her bed, curling up on a pillow. Octavio checks out his luxurious suite. Eloisa is in bed as eventually we see light filter across the room. Samuel enters and pulls her covers up. She wakes up and he tells her she isn’t alone; she thanks him. She looks at her wedding ring, then takes it off, staring at it as her fingers play with it. She clenches her fist as she puts it in the bedside table drawer.
Renata (with some handsome young man in her bed) calls Pablo. I believe she tells him Eloisa is free. Pablo looks at a picture of Eloisa on the computer.
Eloisa is in the kitchen when her mother arrives. Matilde leaves, putting her snack bar on the table. Eloisa tells her mother Octavio has been having an affair for two years and mentions her dignity. Eloise walks through the house collecting laundry. It’s not easy Eloisa tells her mother. I understood very little but her mother seems like a beyotch. Did I get that right? Eloisa seems to physically crumple up.
Karen tells a beside himself Pablo she is sorry about the death. She walks over and puts her hand on his arm in sympathy. He does mention Octavio during their conversation. But then, he ends up talking about a marvelous, wonderful woman, the wife of Octavio. Karen tries hard not to show her shock but ends up walking away, shell shocked!
I know there was critical dialogue I missed; I feel I should have known more about the man who committed suicide but alas…Kindly fill in and/or correct what I got wrong. Your insights and observations are always appreciated.
Diana
Thank you, Diana, for your very fine work.
The story of the suicide. The man’s name was Ismael. He was the one who wanted to crash the wedding reception that Pablo wanted to cover. Ismael was a union organizer. Pablo finds out from his ex Teresa that in order to stop his launching a union at the company, the powers that be put Octavio in charge of changing his mind. Some years earlier, a woman at work accused Ismael of sexual harassment. Octavio weaponized the incident that was long forgotten and turned it into a scandal to use as a reason to make his life hell and fire him. Even Teresa was getting threats. His kids were told their father was a rapist. She feels like Octavio drove Ismael to kill himself. She saw Ismael a few days before he committed suicide. He seemed to be at peace and ready to put that experience behind him but now she thinks that he had already decided to kill himself. She is grateful to Pablo for wanting to let the world know Ismael’s story and clear his name. Later, Pablo tells Karen that he is going to publish Ismael’s story. He has the evidence and witnesses. He knows Octavio, who was responsible for it all, is powerful and influential. He knows that he himself has a conflict of interest because Octavio is the husband of the woman he has fallen in love with. That being said, he is dedicated to finding justice for Ismael and swears that he will never see the woman that he is in love with again in order to get it. Sure . . .
Loved when Eloísa told Octavio she knew something was up like him being in bed with his girl friend because he had burned 106 calories. Also, his heart rate was elevated. Ha! So there for having to monitor the rat’s health! Like the rat couldn’t take care of himself.
Eloísa cannot catch a break. Her mother thinks it is better to turn a blind eye to the whole cheating thing because that is what men do, Renata is always
the bossy drunk, Leticia seems to share too much with her hubby who is Octavio's best friend, her eldest daughter Antonia seems to be on daddy dearest’s side and now her new hope Pablo seems ready to sideline her permanently in his search for justice for somebody else.
I liked that Eloísa made the rat tell the kids he was moving out and that when he said they were not happy for years, she told him he was speaking for himself and not her.
Thank you, Diana for delivering this good news! Just seeing Africa Zavala as a nun makes me laugh.
Jarifa, the marvelously captured details you supplied, particularly on Ismael's background, were invaluable. How tragic and reprehensible that Octavio ruined a good man's reputation, tormenting Ismael and his family to the point Ismael no longer wanted to live.
I chuckled, shaking my head at Pablo being "...dedicated to finding justice for Ismael and swears that he will never see the woman that he is in love with again in order to get it. Sure . . ." Exactly! :)
And this gem that I hadn't understood" "...Eloísa told Octavio she knew something was up like him being in bed with his girl friend because he had burned 106 calories". Remind me never to get one of those monitors, talk about an invasion of privacy! Way TMI! LOL...
Eloisa's mother seems joyless; spreading her opinion as though it is gospel truth. Cheating "is what men do"? Well than, that explains and excuses everything. Blech.
Octavio saying he and Eloisa hadn't been happy for years was cruel and a lie. Eloisa should be happy she now has the opportunity to rid herself of the 180 pound albatross around her neck.
Thank you for all the marvelous dialogue that added so much!
I can't wait to see how quickly Pablo breaks his vow not to pursue Eloisa!!
Diana
Lots of melodrama! We finally found out what Carolina’s life was like between Ramiro offering her a “helping” hand that rainy night and now. How she achieved her big success! I thought we’d find out bit by bit, but we got the whole story in one go.
Diana – thank you so much for the wonderful recap! And Jarifa thank you for adding details! All this really helped.
I just got the basic gist of Ismael’s problem – not a sex offender, somehow done dirt by Octavio, but I didn’t get exactly how that all lined up. Now I know!
As usual, outstanding writing and acting in this episode. I feel like this is a telenovela for adults.
Eloisa’s mom was horrid. Following her from room to room, piling on the guilt and bad advice. And oh boy, she said being single like she (the mom) is is fine – the satisfaction of a job completed, a role fulfilled. But being single after a divorce means you’d be wandering the moors howling at the moon, a restless, hollow failure. Thanks, mom.
I’m really looking forward to this one. I watched a few episodes and liked it. I was hoping it would be shown on one of our channels! Great cast!
Babachita
Diana: I'll be glad when this trainwreck of a Telenovela ends later this month.
"MONTEVERDE"
Babachita: I'm definitely watching this Telenovela too & looking forward to seeing Africa Zavala portraying twin sisters.
Thanks so much Maggie...I couldn't agree more about the quality and acting of this TN.
"But being single after a divorce means you’d be wandering the moors howling at the moon, a restless, hollow failure" was harrowing. Thank you for adding this important, very revealing line. Do we know what her name is? I checked Wiki but it doesn't list the character's name. I will refer to her as "Mommie Dearest" until we have it :)
Diana
Thanks Diana and Jarifa, that was a great read. I was unclear about Ismael so thanks for the details Jarifa.
I loved when Octavio said the separation would give them time to think and Eloisa said she didn’t need any time to think. I’m glad she tossed him out, but feel bad that she has to listen to her mother’s thoughts on this.
I can’t believe both her daughters walked out on Eloise. I hope Antonia soon finds out that her dad’s lover is the woman she admires so much. It would be hard to admire the person that broke up your parents marriage. I’m not sure why Matilde was mad at her. I thought she was going to live with her grandmother but since they didn’t leave together I could be wrong.
I wonder why Octavio went to a hotel and not to Gabriela’s. I wonder if that relationship will last, I don’t think it will.
Liz
I was surprised Carolina told Sebastian everything about her life. Manuel doesn’t know any of it. I can’t imagine a priest leaving the priesthood in a Mexican telenovela but those two really seem to love each other. I was also surprised that Sebastian turned on his mother. I know she deserved it but he was talking about forgiveness to her a couple of episodes ago!
I’m trying to figure out if Omar knows about his father and wants to be like him or if he’s afraid of him. He doesn’t seem to have any problem with a plan to ruin his girlfriend’s mother.
Tamara was awful to Christina. If Carlos has been her boyfriend for any length of time he should have seen this side of her.
Liz
Diane , thank.you So much for another wonderful recap. Jarifa, thank you for the details.
I don't have much time to comment now , and I watched The Voice and recorded this episode , but I did surf in during commercials . The actress playing Eloisa's badgering mother is playing an even worse grandmother to Livia Brito and a nemesis to Fernando Colunga. Susan
Thank you very much Liz.
Appreciate your "Eloisa said she didn’t need any time to think". Let's hope she doesn't weaken and stays strong. He is just loathsome.
I thought that Eloisa's mother was going to move right in. I hadn't realized Matilde was threatening to move in with her (thank you for that) so must assume mama lives close by.
I'm assuming Octavio didn't go back to Gabriela's as he wants to at least pretend to go to a neutral zone to lick his non existent wounds.
Diana
Thanks Susan! Blanca Guerra is such a great actress...I can't wait to see what she does here....
Diana
Caída libre (Free Fall)
Eloisa starts packing Octavio’s belongings with Leticia and Renata’s help. She gets a bit sentimental about Octavio’s personal effects, specifically his shoes and cologne. The friends end up with red wine as Eloisa seeks to cleanse herself of the past, putting pictures of Octavio and other now discarded mementos in the fire pit to burn into oblivion.
Octavio licks his wounds with Villalobos, seemingly rueing how the pictures his son took of Gabriela did him in. Octavio, the veins bulging in his neck, talks about his marriage, as well as how he feels about Eloisa vs. Gabriela. Villalobos mentions Eloisa as the mother of Octavio’s hijos.
Pablo is doing some research on Eloisa on his computer as he sits and waits at the reception desk at Octavio’s company. He sees Gabriela and waves to her. She is disconcerted learning Pablo is there to see her.
Gabriela calls Karen who (likely to try to forestall more of Gabriela’s mewling), starts to say something like Octavio returned to his wife. No, she interrupts her, Pablo is in the waiting room to see HER! Karen tells her Pablo is investigating Octavio. Karen goes to her desk and puts her hands on her face.
Gabriela agrees to see Pablo. She manages to muster up a smile she isn’t feeling. He stares purposefully at her, mentioning he saw her at the wedding. Octavio calls her and she leaves the office to talk in private. He tells her he left Eloisa as she puts her hand to her face unable to conceal her glee. Unbeknownst to him, Antonia is at his door, trying to listen to his conversation. However, I don’t think she is able to hear too clearly. Gabriela then returns to her unwanted meeting. Before he leaves, Pablo says something to Gabriela I gather is very important; kindly provide if you can.
Antonia knocks on her father’s door. I believe he admits to the affair with Gabriela and that he is happy. He leans forward and takes her hand but they are interrupted by Eloisa’s mother.
Eloisa and her friends are having sushi and a heart to heart. Renata seems to feel tequila will solve everything. They toast. As the wine flows, Renata’s words continue to flow…
Eloisa’s mother and Octavio have a frank discussion. I believe she feels family, especially children are the most important things. He almost seems a bit cowed as she exudes a certain power. She seems to order that he try and recoup his marriage, and in a very thinly veiled threatening manner.
There was a scene with Gabriela and Nic (was Villalobos there too?) but I couldn’t interpret.
Pablo is with Karen at the office. He makes an appointment with someone, I believe, to discuss Ismael. We see him smiling looking at the photo of Eloisa. He then texts Renata about Eloisa. Renata, (in a red scarf top that is one wrong move away from baring more than her soul), tells Eloisa Pablo is texting her about Eloisa! I’m not interested Eloisa avers. Leticia and Eloisa exchange a few thoughts I can’t provide. Pablo makes further inquiries into Eloisa.
Diana
Octavio and Gabriela are in bed (black sheets naturally) but instead of afterglow, there are sharp words. At least at first.
Antonia tells Tomas, her boyfriend that she doesn’t feel well. He solicitously asks her if she needs to see a doctor. We later see her looking up her father on the computer. Someone named Javier is also with them.
Gabriela brings her friend, (who proclaims herself to be an accomplished dancer with impressive credentials) to see her grandmother. We next see them in the bedroom with a bag full of burgers. Gabriela stares as her friend takes a huge bite and then spits it out into a napkin. Gabriela hesitates but then mimics the action. We must infer that her eating disorder is rapidly intensifying.
Nic and Gabriela are working at her apartment; he seems to be distracted by her “beauty”. He helps himself to whiskey. There is a knock on the door and Nic goes to answer it. It’s Octavio and Nic asks why he is there, seemingly genuinely confused. Then Octavio looks Gabriela up and down (rather lasciviously I thought). Nic seemed to get the picture and leaves. After Gabriela freezes Octavio with a withering look, Octavio follows Nic out. He lies through his teeth that there is nothing to him and Gabriela’s relationship. He declares he is her boss she is a subordinate. Nic (seemingly blessed with a good sense of intuition), gets in his car and drives off. After he is sure Nic is gone Octavio goes back in. He and Gabriela look at each other across the room and come together quickly undressing each other as he lifts her up and she wraps her legs around his waist.
Pablo and Karen high five; he then wraps her in a hug from which she quickly disengages herself. Pablo is typing several things into the computer including “Verdad” but nothing comes up. He then smiles seeing the pictures of the three amigas that Renata sent him…
Tonight’s episode exploded out of the gate and I was trailing far behind. This was just way over my head but I tried to capture what I could. Hopefully I got some of it right. Kindly share your comments, insights and additions which are truly appreciated.
Diana
Thank you, Diana. You got a lot more than you thought you did!
Ismael's story
Karen gives Gabriela a heads up about Pablo coming to the company to talk about Ismael. "Ethically" she can only tell her that he has Octavio in his sites.
Pablo is forced to talk to Gabriela since Octavio is not available. She identifies herself as the legal face of the company since he isn't there. He needs to talk to Octavio to get testimony about Ismael. She says that Ismael was trying to black mail her boss. Pablo is only interested in clearing Ismael's name. He asks if she knows about the case. She says it happened before she was hired. He thinks that she doesn't have all of the information then about what happened and what irregularities occurred. She assures him she is up to date on the case and there were no irregularities. Octavio is a first class lawyer with integrity who acted within the law. Pablo needs Octavio's testimony because as of now, everything is pointing to them as trying to silence Ismael. She says if that means stopping him from making a scene at the wedding and avoiding a scandal that would be the only time. It was part of her job as the public relations director. He finds it interesting there were no other public relations people there. She admits she only came when she found out what Ismael had planned. Pablo asks who let her know that Ismael was coming since he thought he was he only one who supposedly knew. There is no answer because Octavio calls her. After the call, she tells him that she cannot help him with anything else and wishes him luck with his article. She advises him to take anything this Ismael says with a a grain of salt. Ismael committed an unforgivable act and is now trying to erase it. Pablo tells her that is going to be hard since Ismael threw himself off a bridge after he got their letter. Ismael had great hope in being able to clear his name. That is what his article is about.
Pablo's visit precipitates a meeting with Octavio, Nicolás (Villalobos' son) and Gabriela. Gabriel informs them that Pablo is writing an article saying that Villalobos' company and Villalobos himself were responsible tor Ismael's suicide. He wanted to talk to Octavio because he was the one who handled the case for Villalobos. Octavio tells them all to calm down and he will take care of it. Nicolás doesn't have any confidence in him since he got them into this mess to begin with. Octavio says that his father backed everything that he did. Nicolás informs him that his father is on vacation so he is in charge. He and Gabriela will decide what to do about Pablo over the weekend and let him know what they decide.
In the mean time, Pablo is able to track down Sofía, the woman who made the sexual harassment complaint against Ismael. They will meet on Monday.
Pablo brings Karen up to date on his article. He thinks that somebody working at the magazine must be colluding with somebody at he company because Gabriela knew that Ismael was going to be at the wedding.
Octavio crashes the "working session" about the "Ismael problem" at Gabriela's place. After Octavio looks her up and down, Nicolás gets the message and leaves. Octavio follow him out and says that he and Gabriela are only friends. He came there to warn him that he needs to be careful about working with her at her place because he is her boss. If she felt pressured by him, he could end up being accused of sexual harassment. Octavio is looking out for him as his and his father's lawyer.
Karen tells Pablo he has been approved for a six page article on Ismael's due in one month.

Jarifa, thank you for crystallizing so many details and doing so splendidly.
"Octavio says that his father backed everything that he did. Nicolás informs him that his father is on vacation so he is in charge". I didn't realize it was Villalobos' company and that "Octavio is looking out for him as his and his father's lawyer."
Loved "Octavio crashes the "working session" about the "Ismael problem" at Gabriela's place". At least Nicolas isn't a complete fool.
Pablo seems quite the intrepid lawyer, having lined up an interview with Sofia and being rightfully suspicious of things that simply don't add up.
All of this was quite convoluted to me so your clarifications were so helpful. Thank you!
Diana
Salvador continues to vent his fury on his mother, who deserves his anger, but it seems over the top. Maybe he hasn't felt fulfilled as a priest and now finds out he might have had a different life. I think Salvador and Carolina might find happiness,, but really unlikely he’d get to leave priesthood. Maybe because his mother lied??? My preoccupation into all of this keeps me from enjoying the beautiful settings!
Babachita
Diana – thank you so much for this great and funny recap. I loved your comments about the red scarf and the black sheets. And thank you Jarifa for clarifying that whole Ismael investigation!
Did I understand that Gabriela had had an affair earlier with someone else at the company? Like maybe the dad who is on vacation? Or could it be the son who is now declaring himself in charge?
Karen is obviously the leaker. She seemed like a good egg. I wonder why she would do that, particularly if she has a thing for Pablo. Why sabotage his work? And isn’t a good investigative article a big benefit to their magazine?
It was interesting that Octavio’s infidelity made Letita nervous about her own marriage.
I’m still waffling about whether to keep watching this. We just found out what I wanted to know – what Carolina’s life was between that rainy night and her fashion house today.
But the actress is so melodramatic. I think she doesn’t realize that telenovelas have left that acting style behind (thank goodness). She loves to strike and hold a tragic pose, and then suffer. When she’s not in that mode, I think she’s great. I’m not enjoying the Cristina actress at all, but I love her roommates and the Tarot card lady and her son, and the new neighbor looks really fun.
I do wish they’d do better with the script. Tonight we had a repeat of Carlos saying please let me explain and Cristina saying no and him begging her to listen to him. Just say it, man! It would take just a few seconds. But then of course they couldn’t drag out this plotline.
I enjoyed the scene where Sebastian told off his mother. Boy, he got really mad!
It seems very odd that Carolina never told her husband about having had a child and having to pass it on to others for care and assistance. And it seems odd that Manuel never noticed the signs of her having gone through a pregnancy before. She must have a stretch mark here and there.
Here’s a completely trivial observation: Up until just recently Carolina has worn very low shows, which is rare in telenovelaland where all the women wear super high heels, even at home. But the other night Carolina had proper heels on. I wonder if she was having a problem with her feet and now it’s better.
Thanks so much Maggie; your insightful comments were marvelous. I'm also so appreciative Jarifa was able to clarify so much that occurred.
I didn't catch any conversation about Gabriela's previous affair! Thank you for bringing that up. If she had been with Nic's father, I can imagine that Octavio would not take that well! Then of course there would be the huge ick factor as she has already slept with Nic...
"Karen is obviously the leaker" - yes!!! But why?? The sabotage is strange especially as she cares for him and would be bad for business (as you noted).
I hadn't understood Leticia's musings about her marriage. Hmmmm.
Diana
Maggie, yes, I felt sorry poor Leticia realizing that what happened to Eloísa could happen to anyone. Two of the three of the friends had been betrayed.
Diana, great question: why would Karen undermine the magazine she is working for by keeping. Gabriela in the loop? Funny she finally brought up ethics in the last limited leak.
Looks like Matilde could be hiding out at granny’s to hide her bulimia.
Can’t wait for tonight!
Diana, thank you for another great recap. Jarifa, thank you for the details .
Gabriela looks so unattractive when she is angry and twists her face. She is a petulent, insensitive , shallow taker with no regard for anyone else . .
I have only seen the actress playing Renata as a villain . She was Susana Gonzalos's best friend who was her rat hubby's mistress in MI Camino es Amor. Sussn .
Thanks, Diana and Jarifa. How great it is to read an interesting summary of the episodes events and then have details filled in! I’m surprised the next day when I can’t recall everything until I read you recap, Diana, then it all comes back to me.
I agree that Karen let Gabriela know about Ismael and the wedding. I thought she probably did it without really thinking of Gabriela’s interest in all that. Especially since we learned she wasn’t there when it happened. But I could be very wrong.
Last night I was thinking of the friendship the three women have. I imagine only good friends would be there to help get rid of a cheating husband’s things!
I wondered why Gabriela was so surprised to have Octavio show up at her apartment. At the moment he has no home, I’m sure he saw Gabriela’s as a good alternative to a lonely hotel room. I wondered why Gabriela if they’ll last as a couple. I don’t think I’d like black sheets!
Susan, thanks for noticing who Renata was. I watched Mi Camino es Amor but didn’t recognize her.
Liz
Susan, thank you so much.
You're exactly right that Gabriela is no raving beauty when she indulges in her nasty face contortions!
Thank you for reminding me where I have seen Ximena/Renata before! In real life she is the ex of Alex Sirvent who I always thought was so dreamy (man, that expression ages me but it fits!) :) She does the bff role well here and I am enjoying her performance.
Diana
I don’t understand why Tony seems to want to keep Cristina and Carlos apart. It’s not that he wants Tamara to be with him, he doesn’t seem to like her very much. She is pretty unlikable. She must really put on a good act for Carolina.
I think Carolina’s “one true love” was Sebastian. She really keeps Manuel on a back burner. Which is perfect for Leo, who seems to want to destroy the marriage. Is Manuel too dense to realize Leo seems to be pushing Lorenzo on him. He also seems to think they’re just friends but I don’t think Carolina would agree with him even being friends with Lorena. And the smirk on Leo’s face when Manuel signed all those papers! I wonder what he signed away!
I loved Sebastian telling his mother off. She did send a young, pregnant girl out of their town into the unknown. And it involved a baby disappearing. That would be hard to forgive. Sebastian would have come home and married Carolina and had a whole different life. I wonder why his mother was so insistent that he become a priest.
Liz
Thank you for your kind words Liz.
"I agree that Karen let Gabriela know about Ismael and the wedding. I thought she probably did it without really thinking of Gabriela’s interest in all that". You are always so intuitive and believe you are exactly right here as well.
I'm so glad you mentioned the womens' close friendship. All so different but loyal, dedicated and caring...Love may come and go but these relationships are enduring...
"I’m sure he saw Gabriela’s as a good alternative to a lonely hotel room" had me smiling in agreement. Octavio is such a sneaky, smarmy liar, I can't wait until everything blows up...
