Diana – I couldn’t comment yesterday because I had company, but to answer your question: I have no idea who that bullying young man is or who the other young man he’s bullying is. Why didn’t they just cut them out? Maybe they will feature in the plot later.

Maggie, Kat in SC, SpanProf, Darcy, Jarifa, Liz & Co: Last night's Gran Final was a snoozefest.

The long dragged out reign of terror from Whacky Sebastian & Psychotic Atocha FINALLY ended with both psychos killing each other.

Leonel & Alma FINALLY got their happily ever after. Plus she's preggers!

Camillo & Fatima are super AWESOME together 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Thanks so much Maggie. I am glad I'm not alone in finding that confusing. This is just getting harder and harder for me to follow.

I am wondering if there is more than grief behind Chano and children's constant lamenting Lichita. Speculation only but are we sure she has passed?

I loathe Emi and Iker being pitted against each other. Also, watching Melina's smirk, do we know for a fact she is Iker's mother? I'm hoping not. It's clear Scarlet is falling for Iker.

I was shocked to see Emi 's "mother" talking to Emi's appropriately shocked "real father" - I wondered how they were going to introduce Bill - Tino's rival for Aide's affections. Eli's troubles continue.

A lot of the threads are interesting but I'm missing so much. I watched (and helped recap) the first installment, so really no excuse. :(

I’m liking Carlos more and more. He is trying to do the right thing but he is in an awful situation. I think Palomares is showing more acting skill here than in many previous tns.

Tamara is so out of control. Her mother seems to be the problem. I thought Tamara was just obsessed with Carlos. Now I’m starting to think she is being strongly forced into this obsession by her mother. Maybe she isn’t as obsessed with Carlos so much as trying to please/avoid failing in her mother’s demands. She left Carlos once. Why did she return? Why this obsession now? I wonder if Leonardo is part of this. Was he a stepfather figure to Tamara at one time? Their relationship is abusive.

What I am awkwardly trying to say is that I find myself moving from “I can’t believe she did that” to “why on earth does she behave this way?” Carlos is keeping remarkably calm as he tries to advocate for the baby. I wonder if Tamara possibly might get help and overcome whatever makes her so crazy? Most tns wouldn’t go to the trouble, preferring a consistently crazy character. I think Carlos and Cris will end up together, but maybe Tamara can get some help. Or is it too late and she will flame out spectacularly?

IIRC, Father S mentioned last night that God provides us “the privilege to love.” (This ties in with the title of the original El Privilegio de Amar, which I haven’t seen.) The word privilege implies that it is more than just a gift, it is specially bestowed and/or earned and has responsibility that comes with it. Not everyone has the opportunity to receive this privilege.

Now Cristina is pregnant, as we were all expecting. Looks like Manuel will know shortly. This will put Carlos in a worse situation. I’m still shouting DNA DNA!!!

What is Ramiro up to? Carolina’s house of cards is starting to collapse. Will Manuel stay? What will Father S do?

If we thought Tamara’s baby was Carlos’ we’d be very impressed with his track record! Two pregnant girlfriends. That makes him sound like the guy that Tony told Cristina he was. But I agree that he’s trying to do the right thing. I’m wondering if Tamara will even be able to take care of a baby. And if she’ll continue drinking. When Carlos had his arms around her you could see most of her face, but not her mouth. But I could picture that triumphant smile, or smirk, on her face. Babachita, I think you’re on to something. She definitely left Carlos but then came back with this idea that Carlos was hers. Her mother could be behind it, I found her strange when I first saw her.

I wonder what Manuel will do with this knowledge he’ll probably be given tonight. He can’t really share with Carolina. He doesn’t seem to be a priority to her. He wanted a trip, she wanted to wait and then bring Romina along. I don’t think that’s what Manuel was wanting!

I hope Benjamin will be ok. He and Catalina are the best couple in this!

According to my schedule we’ll have two hours of Hilos tonight.

Sorry Diana, I don’t know who those characters are either. Lots of things have me confused in this. I thought Emi’s real mom had sent the text, but then Tino went in and was mad at Aide. I’m not sure how a text would come from her if she didn’t send it, unless someone in the house sent it.

I’m guessing we were never told how Lichita died. I’m not even sure when she died. If this is five years later have they been telling the youngest son that mom went away for close to five years? That would be really strange.

So Pepe’s new friend has the same birthday as Pepe. I mentioned the missing child could be a girl. Could she be his twin? It just seems to easy for them to find their other child by having her parents bring her over to play. But maybe that won’t even occur to Clara Luz and Rudolf. And the parents seem a little strange.

I thought Emi's mother did send the text as all of a sudden, "dad" shows up. She was all dolled up ready to pounce wasn't she??

I don't know why Tino was mad at Aide?

I'm glad you are also wondering about Lichita's fate. Dead or alive?? "Strange" is right on both this and Pepe's new friend's parents. I definitely think she is Pipe's twin. The parents seem to be pushing their way into Clara Luz and Rudolf's lives. Why??? Something is definitely off.

Among many things I am missing or don't understand, I have no idea who is sending Emi those strange texts.

Diane, Tino showed Aide the phone and accused her of sending the texts. She denied it. It seems like Emi said mom was sending them but apparently that was Aide’s picture by the text. I guess after 5 years he would call her mom. I don’t think it was either mother, but don’t know who it would be. I don’t understand everything that goes on, that’s where recaps help!

I was thinking about an imagined text Emi's mother sent to Emi's real father, not one we saw. Apologies for not trying to explain what I meant.

In terms of Emi's threatening texts, I agree that it likely wasn't either mother but I have no idea who sent them. Thanks for explaining that scene which I didn't quite understand. I wish things were clearer!! .:(
