Melina wants to make money for them and herself. Aide tells her to come into the office and learn about the business in order to know what clients would be good. Melina is happy for the chance. She also offers to take care of things at home while Aide is with her mom in the hospital.

Circe isn’t furious over how Valerio’s dad treated her. She blames Valerio too. He thinks everything will be different tomorrow but Circe thinks his dad will be taking him to San Diego.
Nazario is talking to the twins about their mom being foolish. Clara Luz comes in and he leaves. Pipe thinks they’ll never know the truth because of her, I’m guessing he’s blaming the nightmare.
Aurelio comes in the hospital room and frightens Gisela. He only came in to help them bring her home. Tino, Aide and Hernan come in. Then Tino gets a message about a client coming to see them so they all leave quickly.
It’s almost Iker’s birthday and Scarlet suggests a party. Iker’s never had a party. Emi seems put out. He thinks they’re keeping a secret from him but they say it’s not a secret.
Serena tells her son about
Chachito being worried. He doesn’t know why it bothers her. She says she cares for Cheno and his family, and he cares for hers. The son thinks that’s not good. Why burden herself with him and his three kids.
Liz
Circe and Valerio are having lunch. He tells her he loves her and his father will change his mind. Oops, his credit cards don’t work. Circe pays. His phone doesn’t work either so he can’t call the bank.
Hernan is helping Gisela with her wheelchair. Aide is happy he and his dad are getting along.
Valerio is with his dad. He cancelled his credit cards and phone and is glad to see him solo. Except
Circe comes up and greets him. He’s not happy and Valerio will be without money.
Melina is at work with everyone except Rudolf. She thanks everyone. She doesn’t plan to interfere with their dynamics but will learn about the business. Rudolf arrives and has Paulina with him.
Valerio’s dad tells him he’ll have to earn his own money, and won’t be able to buy his brand name clothes because of Circe. Valerio is fine with that. Circe is thrilled he stood up for her.
Checo is taking photos at a protest. They have justice signs. He centers his attention on one girl.
Paulina came to make amends. Jason made her live far away and make it on her own. She’s learned from that and wants to be a mother to her children. Meanwhile Clara Luz and Rudolf are telling Melina andNazario who Paulina is. They ask that they don’t bring her up as this is personal.
A girl tells Cheno not to take pictures, not sure if it was the same girl as earlier.
The twins are talking, Pipe tells Natalie that his mother was not a witch like Nazario said. They decide they need to leave on an adventure. I think I missed what they’re looking for on this adventure
Hernan is talking with Gisela when Aurelio comes in telling her not to worry, he can take her where she needs to go and bring her what she needs. Hernan is not pleased.
Paulina is asking forgiveness from Tino and Aide. Tino calls her a hypocrite and reminds her of her leaving her kids twice. She tells them Lila has been in touch with her, but refuses to tell them anything, saying it’s between her and Lila. She will get her children to forgive her.
Valerio and Circe are locked out of their home. The month is up so they need to pay to continue he living there.
Melina has her phone under some papers. She recorded their conversation with Paulina. Nazario says personal problems interfere with work. Tino and Aide are discussing Paulina. Tino is sure she’s lying about having contact with Lila. Aide feels the fact that she’s here means she has a plan. Meanwhile Melina is listening to the conversation she recorded. She then finds her on social media.
Valerio and Circe have gotten their luggage but Circe worries about where they’ll live. Valerio is pretty confident they’ll find something. When Circe mentions they have no money he says they’ll use her credit card. She tells him she maxed it out at breakfast, or maybe lunch. Whatever meal he couldn’t pay for!
Hernan and Gisela are talking when he begins to unpack her suitcase. He pulls out a bra, she pulls it from him but ends up pulling him close. They stare in each other’s eyes.
The twins are at the house where Pipe lived with his mother, Silvana, and his aunt. They knock and their eyes open wide when the door opens.
Melina shows up at Paulina’s. When she explains who she is and where she lives Melina thinks it’s very modern of Tino and Aide. Melina offers to help her find her daughter..
Circe and Valerio show up at Tino and Aide’s. They ask if they’d please help them.

Oscar tenderly grabs Carolina’s hand and admits he has fallen in love with her. Tears fall down her cheek but she is regretful when she tells him she cannot respond in kind. Her tears intensify as he tries to move closer and kiss her. She turns and walks away, biting her lip; she tells him she needs to be alone.
Lucas tries to console Rosalia after Nestor so cruelly rejected her. She smiles and kisses him.
Franco and Hugo talk; he still misses Lucia. Hugo suggests he use the internet. Later, the two are searching and he ends up reaching Lucia’s mother (I think) but doesn’t connect with Lucia.
Carolina tells Juanita that Oscar told her he is in love with her! Juanita is thrilled. But I don’t exist Carolina says as she effuses about his hugs; I am Carolina and it is impossible love she says quietly
Angelina and Juan David discuss their wedding. With his conversation with Gloria likely heavily on his mind, he asks her what she really wants and she smiles saying she would love many beautiful flowers then stops herself. She just wants him and wants to be happy.
Padre Gabriel meets up with Oscar. I believe he tells the good padre he is in love. The father says it’s not possible; it’s ridiculous. Something else about Moises is said. Oscar later comes upon Carolina as she tries to reach Celeste. Carolina tells her Mother Superior has left to go to Mother Rosario‘s side.
Lucas visits Nestor and upbraids him for his treatment of Rosalia. He angrily asks him how he could treat her that way. Nestor takes umbrage and scowls darkly.
Gloria tries to provoke Doris by sniping at her; Doris plays along but smiles after Gloria leaves.
Oscar moves forward to hug Nestor when he finds out he is a father! Nestor backs off. He tells him it’s Rosalia the doctor. It’s not my hija Nestor insists. Oscar doesn’t seem to understand what Nestor’s problem is (I sure don’t either I grumble). DNA results are mentioned. Nestor is unyielding; she is an adult now he spits out. Oscar stares.
Gloria pays Manuel a visit. She asks if Doris is there (she well knows she isn’t) and takes a seat.
Doris is fixing the van and startled by a noise and shadow, screams, taking off on foot. Just as Gloria and Manuel are getting cozy, Doris arrives, banging on the door!
Moises is reading with Oscar’s help. Moises teases his father and is soon out like a light.
Diana
Doris’ tale is not well received. Gloria outright accuses her of wanting Manuel’s attention. Even Manuel looks skeptical!
Carolina meets with Father Gabriel. Oscar confessed he is in love with you he accuses. Upset, he asks her outright if she is in love with Oscar. “Yes father” she admits with tears shining in her eyes. The good padre tells her of Oscar’s painful past with Eva abandoning him. He accuses her of being false, an impostor (I don’t know if he mentions the fact she has a husband?) She later cries to Juanita; she cannot return his affections.
Gloria startles Doris again as she works on the bus; she tells a few of the other housemates what happened to her. She closes the hood of the bus and success, it starts. Oh no, after a few seconds, the motor dies and smoke pours out.
Hugo (everyone’s support system) sits with Juan David at the bank.
Franco comes home. Julieta is there with Lucas as she bats her eyes offering Franco hot cakes, coffee, herself. He is preoccupied and she makes a hasty retreat.
Juan David tells the loan officer about his wedding but she can’t get a word in edgewise. She asks how much he wants. He pulls out a folder with pictures and what I believe is his baptismal certificate. He procures something else that apparently satisfies her. He is overjoyed until she asks either about collateral/a cosigner or the repayment amount.
Carolina returns home. “Celeste” Oscar starts but she cuts him off, kindly, and turns and leaves.
Lucas talks with a distraught Rosalia. Lucas thinks Nestor is an idiot and a fool for not appreciating her.
A beside herself Doris talks to the padre; she saw what she saw with her own eyes! The kind man sprinkles her with holy water with an aspergillum as she gratefully crosses herself.
Sister Celeste tells the other nuns that Mother Gustava will be going to San Antonio to take care of Mother Rosario.
Juan David goes to Manuel. His boda is coming up and I think Juan David might have asked he cosign the loan (?)
Oscar knocks on Carolina’s door. He apologizes and seems to say it won’t happen again. He turns to leave and she stops him. I’m not sure if I captured this correctly but she seemed to say there is someone else. Oscar’s face mirrors his shock.
I wish I had understood some of the critical dialogue, especially Carolina’s last word to Oscar!! I’m sure Jarifa will (thankfully) come to the rescue and set the record straight with her usual spot on and greatly appreciated comments.
Diana
Liz, you did an amazing job with this. I can't think of anything you didn't cover and doing it so well!
Melina is always several steps ahead of Aide and Tino. What an unholy alliance she and Paulina are making. Speaking of, Paulina has no intention of "making amends".
"It’s almost Iker’s birthday and Scarlet suggests a party. Iker’s never had a party. Emi seems put out" encompassed so much. Iker is so likeable and he and Emi could be such good friends but it's clear Scarlet's affections are no longer with Emi. If she and Iker get together, Emi will be crushed.
I felt for Chuchito being frightened of El Chacal (as well he should). It was nice to see Chofis and Checo so supportive. At first, I was surprised Pancho told Serena "Why burden herself with him and his three kids" but after thinking about it, why would he be supportive, especially the way Chuchito treated his mother?
I don't think the girl who scolded Checo was the same one he initially focused on for the pictures.
I do give Valerio credit for sticking with his "pancake" as his world crashes down around him. Looks like two more for dinner...and breakfast. And lunch. Poor Aide...
What heartache will Lila bring with her??
Diana
Thanks Diana.
Angelina says that she talked to her mother the night before and told her not to interfere with her wedding planning so they do not have to be concerned about her. Uh, oh, it turns out that when Angelina starts describing the wedding of her dreams to Juan David it sounds just like the one her mother was planning. She then stops herself and says that the only important thing is that they get married.
The good father, looking like the cat that caught the canary, asks Oscar what is going on with Sister Celeste. First, he couldn't stand her and now he is going to restore the school so she can be the principal. Oscar explains that Moisés can write his name due to her. Isn't that quite an achievement? Isn't he the one who suggested Sister Celeste be Moisés' teacher? The good father says he knows Oscar better than he knows himself and he hasn't seen that look on Oscar's face in years. He has noticed how attentive he is to Sister Celeste. Does he feels something for her? He isn't fooling him. Oscar says he never imagined that after all of these years he would fall in love again. Oscar confesses that he is in love with Celeste. The good father beams knowing he was right but the smile disappears when he reminds Oscar that his love is impossible because she is a nun. Oscar says the sister turned him down and told him she had a commitment to God. Oscar adds that the good priest has made himself clear and tells him not to worry. The good father hopes that Oscar can overcome what he is feeling and see Sister Celeste as the nun she is.
Néstor threatens Lucas and Rosalía saying that if either of them goes spreading the news people in town that he is her father, he will see that Lucas ends up shoveling out horse "dung" for the rest of his life. Lucas answers that he agrees with him because it would be an embarrassment having a father like him.
Doris tells Gloria that no, she will no tbe able to be at her "bull's" house tonight.
Franco talks to who seems to be Lucía's mother only to find out she is indeed in Los Cabos. She offers to give Franco's number to Lucía but he decides against that. Franco explains to Hugo that he doesn't want to call Lucía because if she left, she evidently dons't want to anything to do with him.
Celeste tells Carolina that she met with the lawyer who has agreed to take the house as payment. The lawyer first plans to trace the money to the accounts where Carlos deposited it.
Manuel tells Gloria she is always welcome . . . and offers her a drink. It is a cognac kind of night.
Doris insists she saw Froilán (the wolf man like creature)
Moisés tells his father he would like the nun to be his mother. Oscar explains that is not possible because nuns are consecrated to God.
Manuel decides, much to Gloria's disappointment, to accompany BOTH of the women back to the inn so that they feel safe.
The good father minces no words and blames Carolina for Oscar falling in love with her. She evidently was not behaving properly. She is taking the place of a nun and she is a married woman!!! She needs to think of how Oscar would react if he knew the truth. He would never forgive her for lying. After 20 years, Oscar has finally opened his heart and the romance has turned out to be a farce. The good priest tells her she has to leave ASAP. Carolina says she has talked to Celeste who has agreed to come as soon as the school is operational. The good priest adds that Oscar can never know he fell in love with an impostor!!!!
The loan officer shows Juan David how much he would be paying a month over ten years for a loan in the amount of 50,000 peso (2,709 dollars) Juan David seems to be comfortable with the payment amount. The loan officer sees how much is deposited in his bank account and tells him he will need (yes) a co-signer who has five times the amount in deposits as he has.
Lucas tries to talk Rosalía into staying. He can make her very happy.
Doris tells the good priest is sure that Froilán is behind her bus's problems. She had to be trained as a mechanic order to be able to drive her bus so the problem isn't her! She asks the good father to bless her and her bus!! He agrees but still thinks that she made a mistake in her repairs.
A big thanks to Diana, for a new word: "asperguillem"
Hugo tells his grandfather Manuel to give Juan David a hand. It turns out that
Manuel was the one who came up with the idea of Juan David being a millionaire to win Gloria's approval. Now Juan David needs another favor. Manuel starts to describe all of the wonderful food he can provide for the reception or maybe the beverages!! He never sees Juan David's request for being a co-signer coming.
Carolina talks in riddles telling Oscar that he thinks that she is a nun but she is really something more because she is a woman committed not only to God but to other persons, too. She adds that behind her habit there is a certain truth that he really would rather not know. He comments that she sounds like she committed a crime and feeling something for him could never be a crime. She admits she has very strong feelings for him but there could never be anything between them.
Jarifa, I loved your recap. "It is a cognac kind of night" was superb. How kind of you to do this especially during one of the busiest weeks of the year. Thank you.
(Now that I know exactly what was said), I really enjoyed the good padre and Oscar's conversation. "The good father, looking like the cat that caught the canary" was perfect! The good father hopes that Oscar can overcome what he is feeling and see Sister Celeste as the nun she is". Ahh, but she isn't Sister Celeste. Hopefully, that will be her get out of jail free card :)
Lucas had a great retort to Nestor. I'm sure the actor is a very good person in real life but he always looks so grim and forboding...
"The good father minces no words and blames Carolina for Oscar falling in love with her. She evidently was not behaving properly. She is taking the place of a nun and she is a married woman!!!" Well, Carolina shouldn't have lied - true but I was disappointed he seemed to put all the blame on her. Takes two to tango padre.
"Carolina talks in riddles..." was exactly right! I tried so hard to figure out exactly what she was saying! I had hoped she would come clean. Am I giving Oscar too much credit thinking he wouldn't hold what happened against her? I mean she is hiding for her and for Andres' life. I can't wait to see what happens.
Jarifa, thank you!! You are a life saver...
Diana
I thought only one telenovela was going to be showing on Thanksgiving. I only had one showing on my recording schedule. But I went to the guide on my tv and they’ll all be on. I can hit record series and it will, but sometimes they seem to skip a day. So only one was scheduled to record. I’m glad I caught it!
Liz
Diana, no need for thanks. My pleasure.
I do not think that Carolina did Oscar any favor with her nebulous reasons for why they cannot be together. A “I cannot be with you because I am a nun. Period. Full stop.” probably would have been more merciful in its brevity and directness. Now Oscar is left with a mystery to be solved.
Liz, wow , you did a great job with the recap!I I appreciate it so much !
What was Melina planning to do with that huge knife she had when she wss hiding behind the kitchen island .
Gee, I wonder how many bedrooms are in Tino and Aides house ? Have we done a count ofhow many people are living there....and now we add circe and her groom. Yikes .susan
Thanks Susan. I have no idea what she was going to do with the knife. Or why she was hiding! She’s an odd woman. Guess Valerio will move in with Circe! I’m not sure they ever said where Guísela was sleeping. Melina has a room, and Hernan and Íker share that room. I bet each kid has their own room too!
Liz
We open with Emi screaming as a doctor tries to get him to stand. He flashes back to 5 years ago when he was excited to be up on crutches and hoping to soon be walking. He yells at his parents to leave him alone. They ask the doctor why he can’t walk and if he’ll ever be able to. The doctor says it’s a strange case and he doubts Emi will walk again. Emi overhears. He goes in a classroom and texts Bill. He wants to see him. Then he tries to get out of his wheelchair but can’t. Bill texts back that he can’t see him, he promised his parents that. Emi needs to talk to him about Bill’s brother.
Valerio is telling Tino and Aide about his dad’s attitude. They figure it’s the same as them, it was an impulse that had them marry so quickly. Circe says how Valerio defended her against his papa. They’re unmoved and Valerio decides they need to leave. As they leave a guy is hooking up his car to be towed.
Melina says she’ll help Paulina find Lila. Paulina wonders what she wants in return. Melina says it’s personal and Tino and Aide can’t find out. She also says she got pregnant shortly after Paulina left Timo. Melina leaves but notices Bill walk into the hotel.
Hernan is telling Gisela that nothing happened, talking about the bra. He wants to get to know her better.
The twins at at Pipe’s former house talking to the man that lives there. He says Silvana used to own the house but now a musical group does. Pipe tells him his dad’s name and the guy knows Rudolf, or who he is anyway. He calls Clara Luz. The guys name is Gibson from a group Clara Luz knows, his dad worked with them. She thinks he’s calling about Maximax but he tells her the twins are there. She’s going to get them.
Bill has met with Emi, who wants to know if Ronnie was able to walk. He tells him Ronnie died 15 years ago and there are lots of medical advances since then. Emi thinks it might be better to die.
Tino and Aide are talking to Circe and Valerio. They are telling them what they expect of them. Valerio is not as accepting as Circe. When they say he has to get a job, pay them money and find their own place he says with his contacts he and his queen will soon be living well.
Hernan is still talking about his interest in her. Gisela has savings and her own life at her age. He says you’re never too old for love, to think about it but don’t take too long.
Rudolf is at Maximax. He notices his missed call. Nazario is trying to name the name of the guy and gets close. Rudolf figures it out and takes off.
Emi tells Bill he feels he’s regressing in his disease. He blames the disease on his mother. When she came back he felt bad. Now she’s back again and says she’s sorry but he has doubts. Íker sees them talking.
Uli and Chofis are kissing. He wants them to be together somewhere private. She doesn’t think this is the right time, Uli says they’re adults.
Clara Luz arrives at Gibron’s. The twins told him their story. She can’t get a taxi and he offers to drive them.
Tino is getting ready to tell the kids his sister is moving back, but she bursts in and tells them. Meanwhile Íker tells his mom he saw Bill and Emi.
Cheno comes to the gym with Chactus. Sabrina and he talk about the neighborhood and the nightmares.
Uli and Chofis are at a hotel. If she doesn’t feel comfortable they’ll leave.
Bill comes to tell Aide about Emi. Tino approaches and is not happy.
Liz
Gibron is talking with the kids and parents about when they last say him. Nazario makes shotgun motions about the questions. Strange. Rudolf mentions Maximax. They may have a meeting.
Bill tells Tino and Aide that Emi Tino is upset but Bill says Emi is the important one and he’s going through a hard time, especially after seeing Paulina. Tino is still upset when Melina approaches him. He says Bill is everywhere. He ends up telling her Bill is the biological father.
Uli and Chofis are in bed, dressed and talking. She tells him about Oliver. Uli tells her about his abuse. They’ll wait for another time for sex.
Tino was appppreciative that Melina listened to him.
A meeting to assign rooms. Scarlet moves in with her grandmother and Circe and Valerio get her room. Scarlet is not happy after having her own room for five years. But Circe just moved out days ago so why wouldn’t she go back to that room. Or is that where they put grandma. I’m confused.
Hernan tells Melina Circe and husband are moving back in. She’s not happy. Íker needs to get closer to Tino.
Aide is complaining to her mom about Circe and Valerio. Gisela feels Valerio will get a great job and his father isn’t going to let him down.
Sabrina arrives at Cheno’s. She brought things to help him sleep.
Tino is still upset with Bill while Aide defends him and also thinks he should see his mother to get over the feeling of being abandoned.
Serena is reading a story she brought. It seems to be working.
Tino tells Emi he should see his mom. It’s the only way to heal from his hurt.
Paulina is talking to Bill about Emi. He leaves to take care of business. Tino calls Paulina to tell her she can see Emi to ask his forgiveness.
The family is having breakfast and Valerio is used to fancier eggs. They tell him these are Me I an eggs. They looked scrambled, he likes poached. He has friends that will be fighting to give him a job. Circe drags him away to go with her to the university on public transportation.
Hernan goes to Gisela’s room. She’s going to give him a chance but it has to be a secret until they’re sure.
Paulina thanks Tino and Aide for giving her this chance. Paulina tells Emi a sob story. She was an only child, she didn’t say her parents died but apparently they were gone and she was all alone. Tino was her refuge. She made the biggest mistake when she left them. Then she did it again five years ago. She begged for forgiveness. Aide was wiping tears.
Chofis is on a bus when a man sits down and keeps moving closer. She remembers the guy five years ago who tutored her and pushes her way past him to get off the bus
Melina walks in on Paulina’s story. As she excuses herself Bill walks in and Paulina yells, it’s a trap, why is Bill here. Then she spills the big secret and Emi is shocked.
Liz
Outstanding Liz, thank you! Are you typing as you are watching?
Hernan is just. Cringe…
I winced as Emi stood up in the wheelchair without locking it! So dangerous. My heart goes out to him; he’s been through so much.
I hated that Melina had Iker doing her dirty work, spying. Gibson had a noticeably bad reaction to Nazario (not that I blame him); I think there is a story there.
Chofis is obviously not ready for a physical relationship. While Uli didn’t exactly push her, I was surprised he was fairly insistent especially in view of what happened to both of them at the hands of Guzman. I hope she doesn’t try and jump out of the bus while it’s moving.
I hope Serena, Chano and children are able to form a family. I’m still not convinced Lichita is dead…
Paulina is the worst (was a sincere word uttered at the end? I doubt it!). Still, but in a way, it’s high time the truth came out about Emi’s father.
Diana
Oscar is so tender with Carolina admitting his love, but she has commitments to others in addition to God. There are things he does not know, would surely rather not know. He knows she feels something for him; she answers yes, she does, but nothing will come of it. Yet, they lean toward each other just as Andres and Moises enter.
Rosalia’s father comes for medicine and is as charming as ever. Not. She tells him off and leans against her desk after he beats a hasty retreat.
Julieta tells Franco that she cares about him. He admits he has some troubles but moves toward her and kisses her. Uh oh. He doesn’t stop at one kiss either; it is quite the make out fest.
Juan David tells Angelina he went to the restaurant. Gloria sashays in and greets Manuel. She leads him to the side and says something about the wedding; he tells her she has a heart of gold. She asks him for his credit card which he reluctantly gives.
Oscar wants to continue his conversation with Carolina; she is not of similar mind.
Carlos goes to a detective to find out where his wife and child are. He starts to tell him about her family, including Celeste.
Andres does not want to continue classes at Oscar’s.
Juan David talks to the good padre but I’m lost here.
Carolina irons as she talks with Juanita. Carlos is texting Juanita asking about Carolina. He threatens to do something drastic. Carolina is beside herself; angry and afraid of what Carlos might do.
Rosalia talks with Lucas about “miserable” Nestor. Are you mi novio she asks him? Kisses are the answer.
Carolina’s words reverberate in Oscar’s head, he is tortured and sits on the bed, distraught.
The good padre gets a letter and his furrowed brow shows he is concerned.
Gloria tells Angelina she will be a princess at her wedding.
Diana
The good father arrives handing Franco a letter, from his mother. Being true to his word he is delivering it in person. Franco seems unsure and conflicted.
Manuel, Gloria and Juan David are at the loan officers. It’s a lot of money Manuel comments. After a bit of contemplation, Manuel signs on the dotted line. “Gracias” a jubilant Juan David says.
Carolina visits Father Gabriel.
With great trepidation, Franco opens and reads the letter. I believe she says she is sorry and wants to see him (?)
Angelina tries on (what I thought was a beautiful) wedding gown. She didn’t care for it but I’m with Gloria, I love it. She tries on a second but doesn’t like it either. Meanwhile, Manuel is trying on tuxes. His second choice, jet black was quite handsome I thought but Manuel tells Juan David he looks like Charlie Chaplin (must have been the hat 😊!) Looks like his third option, a burgundy color is his choice; Manuel smiles in approval. Angelina tries on her third dress and it seems to be the charm! She loves it, Gloria? Not so much.
Franco hands Julieta the letter which she reads. Where the heck is Lucia? He is obviously upset.
“Celeste” Oscar says. “Mother Celeste” she says, correcting him. He is sad she and Andres will no longer be going to his home for classes. He puts his hand on hers and asks “are you sure?” She in turn has a sad, turning her back and looking at him. Then she scales the fence once again and calls Celeste. Carolina tells her Carlos has been in touch with Juanita. Loyal Celeste tells her sister she is innocent.
Angelina goes to Manuel’s; as her father cannot do walk her down the aisle, will he do it? He is delighted and hugs her.
Augustine delivers Moises to Celeste’s; Moises asks Celeste and Andre why they aren’t coming to his house.
Oscar gives his workers a pep talk.
The detective watches as Sister Celeste enters the convent. She sees him, staring stonily.
Diana
Time passes. Franco tries to write a letter to his mother but crumples up one paper after another. Rosalia pedals by Lucas and blows him a kiss. The workers start renovating the school. The padre tries to teach Juan David how to dance; only a snippet of a scene but it was adorable. Pensive Oscar stares out of his bedroom window. Doris keeps trying to start the bus. Franco and Julieta kiss by the river’s edge.
Tres semanas despues…
The big day has arrived! Juanita wearing black; Rosalia in gold.
Radiant bride Angelina wears a high-necked gown with netting on the front, the arms are sheer. She wears a lovely veil, her hair in flattering tight curls. Gloria, who obviously has no inkling as to how the mother of the bride should dress, inexplicably wears a white pant suit!
Juan David is a nervous wreck; Oscar tries to calm him. Carolina arrives and Oscar greets her warmly. The father rushes over to “break it up”. Franco and Julieta are there as well. The good father gives Juan David a sweet speech, wishing him much happiness. Juan David thanks his uncle saying he is a real father to him. Te quiero mucho tio he says and the men hug as they turn and enter the church.
