Part 1 of 3

We get another look at Zaya challenging Mahmut to go ahead and shoot him in the head. Alya arrives in a taxi, expecting to be a witness to Zaya and Zerrin’s wedding. Zaya yells that they love each other. Sahin begs Mahmut not to shoot. He says they’re very young. Kadir has arrived, still out of sight of what’s going on. But he senses something is wrong and takes out his pistol. We see Cihan and Muzaffer on the move, with Nare in the back seat.

Cihan snarls at Kadir for allowing Alya to be there. Sadakat arrives screaming for her youngest. Cihan jogs to where they all are. He points his gun and orders Mahmut not to shoot. Sedat grabs Alya and points a gun at her head. Mahmut says that he swore that, when he found them, he’d shoot Kaya in the head.

Slimy Demir keeps filming everything on his phone wearing his usual smirk. Muzaffer points his gun at Mahmut. Mahmut isn’t giving up. Sahin moves in quickly and forces the gun down. When Sedat is distracted, Cihan gets Alya away from him. Mahmut refuses to give up his desire to kill Kaya. He and Sahin grapple for the gun. Bang! More dizi drama as we don’t know at first who was shot. But it’s Mahmut. (Whew!) Sedat begs his father to get up, but Mahmut died. The police arrive. Fidan yells, asking her son what he did.

We get another of those scenes with no dialogue where everyone at the scene of the shooting tells their version to the police.

According to Sadakat, as always, everything is Alya’s fault. This time it's because she didn’t tell the family about Kaya having whisked Zerrin away before Sedat could marry her. Kadir takes the blame. Cihan tells Kadir and Alya that they owe him an explanation.

Fidan starts ranting at Kaya for kidnapping Zerrin and ruining everything. An official states that Zerrin said that she left with Kaya willingly. The cops are taking Sahin away. Nare tries to approach him, but Sadakat keeps trying to pull her away. Fidan begins raving again about Sada being able to embrace her child, while her son is in custody. Nasty Sedat comes out threatening Zaya and Sahin. [These people are a lot!]

With a big grin, Demir takes Zerrin and Fidan away. He’s gotten them a place to hide out.

Cihan comes to Sahin’s holding cell. He thanks him, with a lot of emotion (for preventing Kaya’s death). Cihan says he owes Sahin and can’t imagine how to repay him. He’ll do what he can to get Sahin free. He goes on to say that, when there’s a risk to someone’s life, Sahin leans toward brotherhood and love. Cihan says that’s how he himself reacts. He’d have done the very same thing Sahin did. He puts his hand through the bars for it to be grasped or shaken. When Sahin says it was unforgiveable to kidnap Zerrin, Cihan reminds him he came close to doing the same with Nare, despite her being married. Sahin doesn’t take Cihan’s hand. He says he’ll be against him until Cihan gives him what’s his.

Part 2 of 3

Demir drops Zerrin and Fidan at the house he’s arranged. Zerrin looks at him like she’d scrape him off her shoe if she could. As soon as the door is closed on Demir, Fidan right away starts in, asking if Kaya “touched” her. Zerrin yells. “If he had, would you let me go with him?” Fidan goes into one of her patented hissy fits. She says that she wouldn’t wait for Ecmel; she’d kill Kaya herself. Zerrin insists nothing happened. Fidan says Ecmel will give her to some guy because everyone knows about her being kidnapped. After some more blaming and shrieking, Fidan demands the engagement ring Kaya put on Zerrin’s finger. Of course she hands it over. [It drives me nuts how obedient these young women are.]

When Erol tells Cihan that Sahin was arrested, Cihan asks him to offer Sedat some dirty money to back off.

Sahin arrives at his prison dorm room and gets a vicious glare from Dear Old Dad. When he approaches Ecmel, of course he gets the Ottoman slap. He accuses Sahin of ruining his big business opportunity. “You should have shot Kaya, but you killed Mahmut. Instead of shooting Kaya to cleanse the honor of your sister, you killed my dearest colleague." Ecmel keeps shaking him by the lapels of his coat. Sahin finally yanks those hands off him. Sahin says that, if it’s going to happen (getting the Albora land), it will be in accordance with his convictions. Ecmel keeps saying that Sahin disgusts him and that he’s ashamed of him. [This guy is quite the sociopath; he doesn’t seem to love either of his children.]

Cihan tells Alya, Nare, and Sadakat that Sahin was arrested. Sadakat starts berating Kaya, ordering him to forget Zerrin. As always, Sada goes too far. She says she’ll shoot Zerrin in the head and bring her to lay at his feet. Kaya rightfully goes off on his hateful mother.

Sada starts in on her favorite target again, blaming Alya for not telling them Kaya’s plan. After Alya walks out in disgust, Cihan tells Sada that Alya almost died. They put a gun to her head for trying to save Kaya. Don’t forget we forced this woman to be part of our world and are obliging her to stay. She was doing what she thought was right. But she doesn’t understand that she’s in the middle of a mine field.

Kaya tells Cihan that it’s too late, giving his brother a significant look. He and Zerrin were together. We love each other. Nare burst out that Sahin is in prison because of his rash behavior. Kaya tells her that he’s not like Nare, letting others impose their will on her. He defiantly says he’s going for Zerrin tomorrow. He’s not going to be like Cihan and give up the way Cihan did with Meryem. [Another Ottoman slap ensues, along with a glare from Cihan.]

Cihan confronts Kadir in the kitchen. For some reason he just pounds his fist on a table over and over. Kadir hands over his gun and tells Cihan to shoot him. More fist pounding and then Cihan leaves. Kadir tells himself that Cihan should have hit him.

Part 3 of 3

Cihan comes to confront Alya. As we saw recently, she’s sleeping with Deniz and had just come for her jammies. He reminds her she lied, saying she didn’t know anything about where Kaya was. Cihan lights into her. Why doesn’t she confide in him? Why didn’t she tell him? It was dangerous. Alya says that they love each other so much. “What if Mahmut would have killed you? You could have died, Alya!”

She brings up Mine and her suicide attempt. “How could you let that happen to a woman who loves you with her whole heart and soul? Didn’t you tell her that your marriage with me wasn’t real? His reply: “Should I have told her we were in love? Would that have been better?” Alya asks why he didn’t tell her he had a girlfriend.

She tells Cihan that Nare told her about Mine putting the USB in her purse. She asks if he showed it to Mine. He says not, and when she keeps insisting, he says that it fell out. Alya: “At her house?” She asks how Mine knew the password. We get a flashback of some guy I don’t remember telling Cihan the password was something in Cihan’s heart (Meryem). Cihan doesn’t answer Alya. He runs into the next room and throws his phone with another incoming call from Mine at the wall. He overturns his desk as well.

Cihan notices that Alya took off the locket. Erol calls Cihan to say that Sedat refused the money. He just wants blood. Cihan: “He’s asking me to send him to hell.”

Deniz has come to see Cihan. He asks if Cihan and his mother had a fight because she came to sleep with him. We get another charming scene with Cihan and Deniz.

Sadakat comes to ask if Alya has considered her offer. “Should I begin looking for a konak?” Cihan arrives with Deniz. He asks Sada what she’s doing there. When Sada leaves with Deniz, Cihan asks what his mother wanted. Alya doesn’t tell him about Sada’s offer to buy her a place to live if she divorces Cihan.

Cihan goes to breakfast and confronts his mother, knowing she’s up to something. She replies that she doesn’t need to do anything. Cihan’s lying about Mine was sufficient.

*General Cifuentes ups the ante even further by having Tiberio roughing up Weakling Carlos, then he shows Crazy Vic the video of Carlos being threatened.

*Leo & La Mamba being the new couple: What could possibly go wrong LOL.

*Of course, Ismael gets triggered by seeing La Mamba & we see Slick-Haired Glasses Dude calming Ismael down.

*Paco seems to be moving on from Hothead Diana.

*Alfaro gets arrested & Elizabeth gets blown off by President Carmela.

*Enjoyed watching the juicy flashbacks of seeing La Secretaria & Short-Haired Girl getting their steamy lesbian sex escapades going 😘

What a treat, novelera! Helal olsun. ITA on the asides.

Demir brought Fidan and Zerrin to their home. He’s sending his men to guard them.

Ah, Kaya, ah… almost a sure thing Zerrin will be pregnant. I love how he stands up for his love for Zerrin. But he is crazy reckless.

They keep dropping crumbs about Meryem. I’m eager to find out more.

There was slight edit to the kitchen scene with Kadir and Cihan. Kadir told Cihan, “vur, abi”, shoot, brother. Kadir then said Cihan should have shot him or at least beat him or shouted or cursed him. After Cihan left, Kadir asked Muzzafer to shoot him. Muzzafer told him to put the gun away.

Edit: Later we see Kadir still sitting at his seat in the kitchen, staring straight ahead. Ummu worries he hasn’t eaten anything. Not even Pakize, who is being nice to him for once, can get him to eat.

“Cihan asks him to offer Sedat some dirty money to back off.” Cihan offered “kan parası”, blood money, “diya” in Sharia law. In simple terms it’s a financial compensation to avoid a physical retaliation. Especially since this was an unintentional death. Unfortunately, Sedat is out for a bloody revenge. If you watched Embajador, Sancar took responsibility for a man’s death and placed a large amount of money and a gun on a table and asked the dead man’s father to choose.

Boran hinted at the password in his video.

Thanks, dondi, for the extras and for filling in some things I got wrong. I got used to seeing Ecmel and Fidan's konak from the view of that big balcony and didn't recognize the door they came through after Demir brought them home. I do remember his offering guys to guard them, but I thought he believed Sedat might be able to find them some way.

I'm also grateful for mentioning that it was Boran in the flashback about the password. It was shown as a closeup, with his face filling the screen, and I didn't recognize him.

I believe you predicted a pregnancy already. And I believe you're right. This would prevent a forced marriage if some time elapses. But right now it's too early for her to know. These dizi writers can be cruel to Viewerville, but I can't imagine our seeing Zerrin being forced into a loveless marriage.

Also, thanks for the blood money explanation. In Spanish they said dinero sucio which seemed odd to me, but I translated it as it was said. Looking up blood money today in my Reverso dictionary on my phone, that is one of the definitions in Spanish. I love that I still learn so many Spanish expressions from these shows.

I loved Zadir losing his appetite! I'm positive Cihan is going to forgive him. I just love the guy.

At the Albora Konak:
Sadakat helps Alya get Deniz ready for bed while Cihan watches.
Cihan to Sadakat, between clenched teeth: What were you doing here?
Sadakat: I just came to see my grandson. Don’t have too much fun, Cihan.
Sadakat leaves.
Cihan asks Alya what his mother wanted. She replies that it was the usual, nothing special.
Alya asks Deniz if he will dress himself and he agrees.
Alya: So, I can go to my room and change?
Deniz: Yes, Mom.
Sadakat is sitting at the dining table. Cihan enters and asks Ummu and Pakize to leave him with Sadakat.
Cihan: I’m sure you’ve spoken to Alya and probably have something to tell me. So, do it.
Sadakat: I don’t understand. What did she tell you?
Cihan: That’s the problem. Alya doesn’t tell me anything. You tell me.
Sadakat: She’s keeping something from you. So, you think that if I tell her something, she’ll keep it a secret, right? She’ll go straight to you and tell you everything.
Cihan: Mother, Alya knows about Mine and you’re not going to sit idly by, I know you. Stop this.
Sadakat: I don’t think it’ll be necessary to do anything. Lying to her about Mine was more than enough.
Cihan stares at his mother. His phone rings. He puts Muzaffer on speaker: Yes, Muzaffer?
Muzaffer: Cihan, I couldn’t stop Kaya but don’t worry. Kadir’s with him and I’m following them. We’re on the highway.
Cihan rubs his eyes in fatigue. Sadakat jumps up: Son, surely he is going to Zerrin. We need to stop him.
The two of them head down the stairs and Alya sees them.
Cihan calls Kadir, who is riding while Kaya is driving.
Kadir: Hello. Cihan, I swear I’ve got nothing to do with this. This time I’m not his accomplice. I followed him to try and stop him but it was impossible, and now we’re on our way to Zerrin.
Cihan: Where are you?
Kadir: We’re near Dargecit.
Cihan: Alright (and he hangs up).
Sadakat: Where is Kaya?
Cihan: Mother, I have to stop him before he gets to the konak.
Sadakat: I’m going too.
Cihan yells: Mother, please stop! Don’t make things more complicated! I’ll take care of it.
He tells some henchies to follow him. Alya is still watching from above.

On the highway:
Kadir: Kaya, I’m trying to get you to see reason. You’re starting to lose it.
Kaya puts his foot on the gas to go faster.
Kadir yells at Kaya: Don’t look at me like that. Stop the car! You do realize I’m putting my life on the line for you? Think about it, Kaya. You think they’ll give her to you when you show up? That you’ll get married? What is wrong with you? Kaya! No way!
We now see a road block of henchies waiting for them, weapons drawn. They include Sedat
Kaya: I don’t believe it! Those bas….!
Kadir: Slow down.
Kahya: I’m going to destroy them. I’m running them over.
Muzaffer, in the car behind them, thinks out loud: Kaya! Stop. Don’t do this!
Sedat shoots at the car, and the whole roadblock erupts in gunfire.
Kaya stops and jumps out with his weapon drawn.

Kaya and Sedat stand close with their handguns pointing at one another.
Sedat: It’s easy to shoot at a car, isn’t it?
Kaya: You think you’re tough, don’t you? Shoot me, if you have the courage, Sedat.
Sedat: Of course I will, I’m going to have so much revenge that all of Mardin’s going to drown in your blood. The Albora will pay for what you did.
Kadir is walking around looking for an opening. Muzaffer is also trying to get the young men to put down their guns.
Kaya: Go ahead and shoot me, Sedat.
Sedat: I’ll show you what I can do. You’ll pay for what you’ve done. My father died because of you. and you’ll all pay the price.
Kaya: I’m right here in front of you. Shoot me.
Kadir or Muzaffer yells: No, Don’t do it. Think about your brother.
Muzaffer: Kaya, Sedat, nobody’s going to make it out alive! Both of you, put down your guns! This isn’t going to end well. Please stop this!
Sedat finally lowers his gun and puts it in his waist. Then Kaya lowers his.
Sedat: This isn’t over, Kaya. You’ll pay for each and everything you’ve done. So, watch your back.
Muzaffer tells both to get in their cars.
Muzaffer yells at Kaya: What are you looking at? Move it. Kadir, Kaya, to the car!
Everyone is almost in their car to leave, when Kaya yells: Sedat, stay away from my wife!
Sedat: I’ll show you who her real husband is.
Kadir tells Kaya to ignore him. He’s not worth it.
Kadir follows Kaya to the car, but Sedat looks like he might try to run them down. He guns the motor, Kadir sees him coming and throws Kaya out of the way and then Kadir is hit by Sedat’s car. Everyone runs around, shocked, and they call an ambulance.
Kaya calls out: Kadir!
Muzaffer also calls Cihan: Something terrible has happened. We were intercepted on the highway.
Cihan asks who. Muzaffer: Sedat Nalhalnoglu.
Cihan: Kaya?
Muzaffer: Kaya is fine, but Kadir, was hit by a car.
Kadir asks for the phone: Let me talk to him. Cihan, my friend.
Cihan: Are you OK, Kadir?
Kadir: Have you forgiven me?
It takes Cihan three times before he is able to say: Of course I’ve forgiven you.
Kadir’s eyes close and he lets go of the phone as he says: Friend.
Kaya: Kadir! Let’s not wait for the ambulance. Take him to the car. They tell him to hold on.
Kadir: Did you hear that, Cihan forgave me.
Kaya is very impactado.

At the jail we see Ecmel & Halis. Someone enters saying that Sahin Albora has a visitor. Ecmel asks who it is. Sahin looks surprised.
The man answers: He says he’s your lawyer.
Ecmel seems to indicate that Sahin should go with the man. When Sahin gets to the visitor area, he sees Nare.
Nare: He said it like that to not raise suspicions. Sit down.
Sahin: After you.
Nare: I’m so sorry, Sahin. I’m sorry I ever thought you could kill my brother. Forgive me. I thought I’d lost the pure and good Sahin. I knew you better than anyone in the world, even if I did make a terrible mistake. I’m sorry, Sahin, please forgive me. You saved Kaya for us.
She reaches out and takes his hands. He is still not responding and looks very serious.
Nare: Thank you. You’ll be free soon and we’ll be like before.
Sahin shakes his head: Those dreams need to stop, Nare. Nothing has changed and you know it. Just because it rained doesn’t mean the flowers will regrow.
Nare: If you’re on our side, everything will be different.

He takes her hands in his: Would you be with me in spite of everything? If I, not your brother, led the Alboras?
Nare’s face falls.
Sahin: If I asked for your support, would you give it to me? Answer me. Would you stick by my side?
Tears fall from Nare’s eyes. She takes her hands back.
Sahin: Go home, Nare.
She nods sadly and turns to leave. Sahin watches her leave with sad eyes.

Yonca Hospital
Kadir is in a hospital bed.
Cihan to Muzaffer: Listen to me, go find Sedat, and when you do, bring him to me.
Muzaffer agrees.
A doctor tells Kadir: let me know when you have the results of the CAT scan.
Outside the room, she tells Cihan: I can’t detect any fractures, but I need to see the results of the CAT scan.
She tells Cihan they should have them in about an hour. She leaves.
Mine arrives. Muzaffer moves away so they can talk. She tells Kadir to get better.
Mine: I’m sorry about what happened.
Cihan: if you’re here to ask about him, he’s fine. Anything else?
Mine: I feel terrible. I didn’t want this to happen.
Alya now approaches.
She asks Muzaffer if Kadir is sleeping.
Muzaffer tells her no.
They all stare at one another, and Mine notices Alya isn’t wearing the locket.
Alya: Excuse me.
Cihan just glares at Mine until she leaves, with a little smile on her face (because of the locket, I presume.)
Alya to Kadir: I hope you feel better. Are you in a lot of pain?
Kadir: I’m fine, thank you,
Alya: OK, I hope all your test results are positive.
Kadir: Allah willing.
Alya: I’ll be up in my office but if you need anything, let me know. I’ll be checking in.
Kadir thanks her.
Back in the hall, she asks Cihan if Sedat attacked him. Cihan and Muzaffer nod.
Cihan: If you’d told us all about this earlier, none of this would be happening. She nods and asks Muzaffer to let her know the results. He agrees.
Cihan: You can keep her up to date. I‘m going to check on Kadir.

Back in the street, a messenger on a motorcycle approaches a gate. He hands one of the guards something for Zerrin Albora. The guard takes it to Fidan and Zerrin. They ask who it’s from, and the guard says Sedat Nalhalnoglu. Fidan asks what it is. He takes out what looks like a ring box. It holds a golden bullet.
Fidan: What is this?
Demir walks up and says it means they’re going to kill your son.
Fidan starts to fall and is held up by Zerrin and Demir. Demir tells the henchie to close the door and leave them.
Demir pours some cologne on her wrists, and Fidan is starting to come around. They’re going to kill Sahin, even if he gets out.
Fidan: You signed his death sentence, Zerrin. My son!
Demir: No, that’s not going to happen, ma’am. Don’t worry, everything will be fine, but you need to get better. Rest here, and he lays her down on the couch with a pillow for her head. She keeps assuring him she’s fine. Demir keeps encouraging her.
Fidan: This is so embarrassing.
Demir: We’re not strangers. If you mother starts to feel worse, Zerrin, let me know and we’ll take her to the doctor.

Episode 45 #4
Fidan: Thank you.
Demir: I’ll come back some other time.
He excuses himself and leaves.
Fidan tells Zerrin to walk him to the door.
Fidan: This can’t be happening.
Zerrin holds the door open for Demir, who asks if they can talk.
Zerrin: What do you want to talk about?
Demir: I have things to tell you about your brother, and I wanted you to find out before the others.
She closes the door and says they can talk.
Demir: I can protect your brother.
Zerrin: How?
Demir: As you know, the Nalhalnoglus work for me. (He picks up the box with the gold bullet.) I can take care of Sedat, so don’t worry. Nobody’s going to lay a finger on Sahin.
Zerrin: I understand, but how will my brother get out?
Demir grins: I can take care of that, too.
Zerrin: So, what are you going to do?
Demit takes out his phone: If the judges see this video I recorded, Sahin will go free.
(The video apparently is of the death of Mahmut Nalhalnoglu.)
Zerrin watches the video and says: Yes, he will.
Demir: I haven’t given this video to the police or the DA.
Zerrin: Why not?
Demir: I have an offer for you.
Zerrin: What is it?
Demir: Marry me.
She tells him to get out.
Demir: If you marry me, I can prevent Sahin from getting killed and I can secure his freedom. Think about it. The life of Sahin depends on you. So, make your choice. Kaya Albora, or your brother.
Zerrin: I told you to get out, Demir.
Demir: Think about it.
He leaves. Outside her home, he says: Cihan, you stole the woman I loved, and now I’m doing just that to Kaya. He smiles and heads up the road.
Zerrin is very impactada. She sees the box with the golden bullet on her table.

Nadim Baybars is out walking. His phone rings. It’s Demir telling his father to start preparations.
Dad: What preparations?
Demir: Your son’s getting married soon. We’re having a wedding, Dad.
Dad: What are you talking about?
Demir: You’ll see soon enough. He hangs up on his father.

At the hospital, Alya is leaving a room giving instructions to a nurse. She walks down the hall, and Mine is waiting. Mine tells her everything is fine with Kadir. He’s in good condition. He was just discharged.
Alya: I know.
Mine keeps staring at Alya’s chest. Alya puffs up her chest and says: That’s right, I took it off.
Alyea leaves and Mine says that it looked good on her, after she leaves. Mine keeps making her weird mouth expression.

Episode 45 #5

At the konak, Ummu, Pakize, and Sadakat are talking. Ummu: I’m so worried. I hope nothing happened to Kadir.
Sadakat: Don’t even speak of it (and she does the covering of her eyes and face with her hands).
Sadakat asks for a phone. Kaya is pacing nearby. There’s no news. We just have to wait.
Sadakat to Kaya: Cihan should lock you in a room when he gets back.
Kaya walks away, still pacing. His phone rings. It’s Muzaffer.
Muzaffer: Good news, Kaya. Turns out our Kadir’s stronger than cement.
Muzaffer is talking while Cihan is checking Kadir out of the hospital.
Kaya: What a relief.
Ummu and Pakize are so happy to hear this.
Muzaffer tells him they are heading home.
Sadakat: What did he say?
Kaya smiles: He’s OK. He was just discharged.
Sadakat: It’s a miracle that he’s OK. Let this be a lesson to you to finally calm down. You can’t keep doing stupid things like this.

Alya’s at the cafeteria, and Dr. Ugur brings her a coffee: Without sugar, right?
Alya: That’s right. You shouldn’t have.
Ugur: It was nothing.
Henchie-spy sees them and calls Cihan.
At the hospital, Muzaffer tells Cihan that Alya wanted them to let her know. Cihan tells him to call her. Just then, the henchie-spy calls Cihan.
Cihan reaches out to Muzaffer: Hang up.
Cihan deliberates a moment before deciding what to do. He tells Muzaffer that he will let her know.
Kadir: Cihan. They say that every tragedy brings something good. This led us to patching things up.
Cihan looks him in the eye: First of all, accept my best wishes, Kadir. You know you’re important. But if you ever do anything behind my back again, come closer (he says something ominous that we can’t hear, but his mouth doesn’t move, so maybe he didn’t say anything.)
Kadir: Never again.
He tells the two of them to go home while he heads to the cafeteria.
Muzaffer asks Kadir what he said. Kadir says it’s private.
On the balcony, Alya and Ugur are talking.
Ugur: Is it because of the other night? You seem sad, that’s why I asked.
Alya takes some deep breaths.
Ugur: Don’t take this wrong. I know it seems like I’m meddling in your private life.
More deep sighs.
Ugur: Alya, I saw the same thing you did the other night.
Alya’s eyes are slightly rolling at this.
Ugur: We see each other all the time at the hospital.
She nods.
Ugur: I can’t pretend that what I saw didn’t happen. Alya, I really think that Cihan was unfair to you.
We see Cihan approaching, but Ugur doesn’t.
Cihan jumps in the conversation: That’s none of your business.
They both look around, startled.
Alya: Cihan.
Cihan: Stay out of our lives.
Ugur: What is the problem, Cihan?
Cihan: Don’t speak to me. I don’t want to see you near my wife again.
Alya pushes Cihan away.
Cihan: Who are you to say my name?
Ugur: Wait, I think you misunderstood.
Cihan: I didn’t misunderstand anything. Stay away from my wife.

Alya pushes his hand down: Don’t point at him and lower your voice.
Cihan walks off: Idiot!
Alya follows him, apologizing to Ugur.
Cihan: Like his opinion means anything. Who are you to judge what I do? (Alya tries to calm him down.)
In Alya’s office, Cihan: You’re leaving this hospital.
Alya: I’m not going anywhere.
Cihan: No? Really? If that idiot comes near you again, I’ll blow his brains out in front of you. I’m warning you.
Alya: Have you gone insane? What’s wrong with you? You think I’ve hurt you? Is that a joke?
Cihan: You think I don’t deserve you, but that guy does?
Alya: Does Mine deserve you? I don’t ask you those kinds of ridiculous questions.
Cihan: He could be a professor or some notable academic, I don’t care. He needs to keep his mouth shut. It’s not up to him who deserves who. Who does that dimwit think he is? Tell me, who is he?
Alya: He saw you with Mine that night. (Cihan is impactado.) That’s right. Ugur saw.
Cihan: And he didn’t waste the opportunity to offer you comfort, did he?
Alya: What are you insinuating, Cihan? You don’t have the right to say these things. I don’t owe you any explanation. Neither I nor Ugur are going anywhere. But you and your lover can leave if you want that so bad. You can buy her her own clinic to run and see each other as often as you’d like.
Cihan: Is that what you want?
Alya: Of course.
“Me esta doliendo” starts up as Cihan walks away slamming the door.
He walks down the hall.

At the konak.
Alya is in her pajamas.

FLASHBACKS: As a woman, I wanted to know how you could accept him marrying me? (Alya asks Mine) Mine: You really want to know? Then Sadakat: Be it with that woman or someone else my son will have more relationships. To Cihan: Didn’t you tell her your marriage to Alya wasn’t real and that we’d never be together? Cihan: What did you expect me to do? Lie to her? Should I have told her we were in love? I told her the truth. What more do you want? Isn’t what I said true?

Alya gets her robe and goes out on the balcony. Cihan is walking up the stairs. He finally looks at her. Nothing is said. He heads to their suite and she heads to Deniz’s room. Sadakat sees all this, of course and she is smiling. In the suite, Cihan sees the locket on the nightstand. He goes into his den. Alya takes her robe off and joins Deniz on his bed.
Both Cihan and Alya estan doliendo mucho.

The next day, Alya goes into Café Mardin. She carries an envelope. She walks in and up some stairs.

Meanwhile, Cihan is driving along a road. He chauffeur/henchie/spy calls Cihan to report: Alya just left the hospital and came to Cafe Mardin, which is just around the corner.
Cihan: Who is she with?
Spy: With no one for now.
Alya sees him on the phone.
Cihan: I can’t believe this.
Spy: Cihan, Alya is looking at me.
Cihan: What?
Alya comes over and says to Spy: Give me the phone. She tells Cihan: You know where I am. Come, we need to talk. Don’t make me wait. I have to get back to work.
Cihan: I’m on my way.

Episode 45 #7

At Fidan’s konak, Zerrin is thoughtful as she gets dressed. She is remembering what Demir told her about the video he has that would save Sahin. She’s thinking about his offer of marriage in return for saving her brother. She picks up her books for school. She leaves her bedroom. Her mother is in the living room. She tells her mother she is on the way to the university.
Fidan asks her if they can talk first, just two minutes.
She agrees.
Zerrin: Are you alright?
Fidan: Your father’s situation is clear. He’s never getting out of there, but Sahin can’t stay there. He needs to come home safe and sound. Demir made your father the same offer. Look at this (the golden bullet), look at it because I can’t let it go.
Fidan’s hand is shaking: They’re going to ruin Sahin. Save him. Do it, Zerrin. Demir already told your father. He told him not to pressure you. If you agree to it, that’s what’ll happen. If not, then no. That’s what he told me. You have no future with Kaya. You know that, don’t you? Zerrin, it’s my son. Your brother. He’s your blood. I’m begging you, sweetheart.
Zerrin: I have to go.
Fidan slams the bullet on the table.
Fidan: My children are suffering as much as I am. Why is this happening?
We see Zerrin run out the door and down the stairs of their konak. She is unsteady and sits down on a step to cry.

Kaya is in his room playing with his big handgun. In walks Nare. She asks him what he did this time? Why can’t you stop, Kaya, you almost died.
Kaya: Please don’t start.
Nare: You want me to keep quiet?
She takes his gun and puts it aside and sits beside him, asking him why he won’t listen.
Nare: What did Cihan say? He told you to wait. So why aren’t you waiting? Just stop for a second.
Kaya: Cihan wants me to wait, but how can I do that? What if Sahin never gets out? How is Sahin going to get out? So, I have to wait?

At the Mardin Café, Alya has the envelope on the table waiting for Cihan. She checks her watch. Finally, Cihan enters. He asks permission to sit with her.
She offers tea. He declines.
Cihan: What are we doing here?
Alya: Be patient. In fact, it won’t be long now (as she looks at her watch again).
In walks Mine. Alya asks her to join them. Cihan looks uncomfortable.
Alya offers her something to drink. She declines.
Cihan: What are we doing here?
Alya: Fine, I won’t take up much of your time. I wanted you here, Mine, because I believe this matter concerns you.
She hands Cihan some legal documents. Cihan reads: Mutual Divorce Agreement.
Alya: I already signed it. You can read it over if you like. Sign it and you’ll be free. What are you waiting for?
Cihan stares at her long and hard.
Cihan: I don’t need to read it.
“Me esta doliendo” cranks up as he signs the papers.
Mine looks back and forth at them.
Cihan passes Alya the papers. They look at one another a long time.
