Papas #75 part 1
Five years earlier Aide is crying. Tino wants her to be happy. She can’t, she’ll never get over this pain.
Melina leaves with Alexandra.
The judge feels Uli is at fault, it asks the lawyer for anything else in his defense. He has testimony from teachers at his school. Aide and Tino feel Uli won’t go free.
Emi is worried something happened to one of his siblings, or his parents. No, they’re together, the others no but they wanted to tell him away from others. He asks why and Lila tells him they love each other.
Prisma is looking at family pictures. She tears one up of her and Nazario. She answers a call from an unknown caller and it’s Nazario. She’s not going to get away from him. He tells her they go to court tomorrow and she better not act like a feminist, they’ll lose Natalia. She says, we’ll see tomorrow.
Emi is not happy with the news. He says Bill is his biological father, was with both their mothers and is 1,000 years older than she is. He says Bill is manipulating her. Bill denies it, Lila wants to talk to Emi alone.
Gisela and Aurelio have looked all over for Alexander. Gisela wants to call Aide and Tino. Aurelio says let’s get Emi and Scarlet from school and have them look. Then we’ll call Aide, Tino and the authorities.
Melina gives Alexander an ice cream cone and Cotten candy and tells him to go play. They’re at some kind of park.
Chofis tells the judge she and Uli oth had a painful past where they were sexually abused. She knows he would never disrespect a female. Uli asks if he can speak. He says he would never have shared their intimate moments on the internet.
Rudolf says no one in the building saw the woman. Clara Luz says what if Pipe had been home and saw all this. They start talking about the court and Natalie. They say azario showed up in their life, then Fibron was killed, then Nazario tried to blame Rudolf. Rudolf suddenly asks why she was home when she was going out. She tells him she lied, Martin isn’t gay and they went on a date, but nothing happened. So she didn’t tell him the whole truth, I hope she does.
Uli continues his testimony. He feels he recorded the woman to prove his manhood, but he was broken. He’s going to be more mature in relationships in the future, more responsive and not use social media. He thanks his parents, Chofis, and the judge for letting him speak. Yevette stands up and says she forgives him, she knows he didn’t intentionally post the video. The judge declares that considering the pardon from Yvette and his talk he will not be held responsible for the videos.
Emi accuses Lila of being with Bill to hurt their parents. She says no. He thinks it’s because she’s been angry at them. She says he doesn’t know what they did. She won’t tell him. But she tells him Vill loves him.
Rudolf now understands why Clara Luz wanted space. She tells him she never stopped loving him. Do they have a future together. Rudolf doesn’t know, but Pipe needs his parents. Is that enough reason to stay together.
Liz

MONTEVERDE #57, Part 1
“Buenos dias” Mother Gustava greets an obviously agitated Oscar. He asserts that he is at the end of his patience! He rudely snaps his fingers and tells the sisters to leave. While Celeste looks like she just swallowed a lemon whole, feisty Mother Gustava fights back but Oscar gives her one hour to get out or face the consequences! Celeste rolls her eyes heavenward.
Hugo and Juanita greet each other; it is clear Juanita is missing Carolina and Andres. Hugo suggested she call Carolina and her eyes light up; they rush out to where I assume is the only cell phone hot spot in town, Oscar’s ranch…
Angelina is helping Gloria as she models her wedding dress. Juan David enters and Gloria hides behind Angelina to shield herself from his sight. (I know the groom is not supposed to see the bride in her dress before the wedding but is it bad luck for the bride’s son-in-law to see her? I had to chuckle). I must say her cream colored sleeveless dress is quite lovely. Angelina seems to be tightening something in the back.
Franco arrives and is told about what Oscar is doing to the school. Is that true he asks Oscar? Oscar says yes as Franco stares incredulously.
Much to my shock, there actually IS a line around the block filled with those who are applying to entertain at Doris and Cárcamo’s hotel. Juan David seems to be halfway down the line.
At the convent, the fun nun (do we know her name?) is playing kickball with Andres. Juanita calls and fills her in. Carolina asks about Oscar just as he rides up chastising Juanita and Hugo. He badmouths Carolina for being an imposter and then proceeds to ask her questions about Carolina. She then declares she was talking to her mother, not Carolina! She and Hugo run toward and scale the iron gate as Oscar stares.
Celeste and the Madre are still struggling to remove the straw bales. Celeste frowns as a truck pulls up driven by an embarrassed Augustin. He apologizes as more bales are unloaded.
Doris and Cárcamo are conducting interviews with the hopeful entertainers, none of whom seem to fit the bill. Finally it is Juan David’s turn. Whatever he tells them has them smiling and checking the right boxes on their forms.
Mother Gustava reads the riot act to the workers who are honestly just trying to do their jobs. She mentions the children and Celeste stands in front of the door, arms wide open to block the men from entering. One of the men hoists Celeste over his shoulder and carries her away from the door. All of a sudden one of the bales being thrown from the truck hits Mother Gustava in the shoulder and she leans down on one of the bales in pain.
Gloria and Angelina are in church, Gloria thinking about her dear deceased husband. She seems genuinely sad and Angelina offers her support and encouragement, saying what a good man Manuel is. With that, Manuel comes in and it appears Father Cucho has taken a powder! They quickly cross themselves and leave.
Diana

MONTEVERDE #57, Part 2 of 3
Rosalia examines Mother Gustava and tells her she won’t need to go to the hospital. With that she pulls her arm/shoulder and whatever was dislodged is now in place. Mother Gustava is still a bit squeamish as her arm is put in a sling.
Oscar is told what transpired but he isn’t the least bit sympathetic. It was an accident Franco says. Moises pipes up and the men can’t help but smile.
Manuel runs up and tells the good padre, Celeste and Mother Gustava that Father Cucho is gone.
Oscar walks back into his room and takes out Carolina’s letter. I can only say that there were several elements including an apology and much sadness but will rely on Jarifa to kindly translate. Oscar’s cheeks are slightly damp with tears. All of a sudden, hearing Moises, Oscar rips the letter into several large pieces and puts it on the floor. Moises says how much he misses Andres. Oscar leaves the room and of course smart as a whip Moises doesn’t miss a trick and immediately sees the torn letter pieces on the floor.
Ahhh, the lost padre has been found. He walks up to Oscar who seems totally confused by what he says as is Moises (and I). He does tell the father he is confused. Oscar takes off with the lost priest.
The search party has come up empty. Father Gabriel seems to tell Gloria she is responsible for insisting on bringing the father there.
Yup, Moises goes straight into Oscar’s room and puts the pieces of the letter together and starts reading it.
Father Cucho and Oscar have another meaningless conversation. All of a sudden, Gloria, Father Gabriel, Angelina and Manuel walk up and are relieved to see Father Cucho. Gloria blames Manuel for the father wandering off. In another (another) misunderstanding, Gloria talks about her wedding but Father Cucho thinks someone has died!
Moises asks Franco for a favor – he wants to call Andres. He convinces Franco to let him use his phone and texts Andres.
Oscar and Father Gabriel talk; he tries to convince Oscar to calm down. He talks about Carolina and says the school needs to open – for the children. Oscar wants nothing to do with Carolina or Celeste. Celeste walks in the middle of his tirade. She confronts him about badmouthing her sister. Oscar says con permiso but only to the father as he stares daggers at Celeste. Oscar then says he will allow the school to reopen on one condition – that Madre Celeste NOT be the director!

Moises texts Andres his father loves Carolina and he is very sad. Moises has a plan but has to give Franco back his phone before we are able to hear it. Don’t tell my padrino he begs. Franco smiles (and what a nice one he has) as he agrees; he and Andres fist bump.
Boda/soda, the good father’s hearing continues to fail him. Gloria and Manuel have gotten him back and the father instantly falls asleep the moment his head hits the pillow.
Franco is introduced to Achilles, a beautiful horse but I could not determine what the point of the scene was.
Mother Gustava and Father Gabriel visit Oscar. Oscar repeats his condition saying that Mother Celeste will not be in charge. Mother Gustave rues this decision and while she agrees to the condition, she does say it’s a shame as Celeste is wonderful. She sticks her hand out and agrees as Father Gabriel rolls his eyes.
Doris and Cárcamo visit Juan David and Angelina. Cárcamo says congratulations so I gather Juan David got the job as he and Angelina jump up and down joyously. Then there is a bit of a monkey wrench thrown in, something about needing to speak English (?) Angelina pipes up saying “I can help him” in English while Juan David smiles, shaking his head in agreement. However, it appears Juan David’s English is limited to the word “yes”. 😊
Oscar is insupportable Celeste tells her sister. Celeste asks how she made out with the lawyer. Carolina mentions something about a document but Celeste turns the conversation back to Oscar.
Cárcamo and Franco talk about Lucia.
Celeste complains about Oscar to Father Gabriel and Mother Gustava. Father Gabriel asks Mother Gustava who she is going to appoint as director; the answer is Mother Cecelia.
Gloria is sipping wine as Manuel tells her nicely but firmly that Father Cucho is not in shape to perform the ceremony. Gloria gets up (leaving the table loaded with dishes, doing nothing to clean up) and she and Manuel kiss. Tomorrow they will be married Manuel says happily.
Carolina is in bed thinking of Oscar. Oscar puts Carolina’s letter back together as her words reverberate in his head. Carolina slips out of bed and goes outside. Phone in hand she hesitates…then we hear Oscar’s phone ring. He stares at it, then picks it up and asks, “what do you want Carolina?” Carolina smiles happily but says nothing. Yet.
So, will it be boda or boda interruptus??

Papas #75 part 2
Serena is crying. She thinks she’s being moved to prison. She says it wouldn’t cost the guard to answer her. The guard says she’s free. Cheno and the lawyer are there. There’s not enough evidence to declare her free. Serena says will get it.
A teacher comes after Poncho to tell him how well he did on the math. He could get a huge scholarship. Keep studying and be responsible.
Uli thanks his parents, they thank Chofis. Checo says they’re family. Uli tells Chofis he’ll be a better man because of him. Aide gets a call from Gisela. She tells her Alexandra has disappeared.
Alexander asks where his parents are. She says he’ll see them soon. It first she’ll take a picture. She takes one of the two of them and one of Alexander alone. He’s hungry. She sends him off to play with a promise of going to a special place soon.
Gisela says she only took her eyes off Alexander for 3 minutes. Aide is furious and blaming her, she was never a good mother. Tino says he’ll call the police, Circe and Uli will look around the house, maybe he’s hiding.
Jeni is talking to Poncho, it’s good the rest of the family are gone so she can rest. He has something to tell her. She thinks he’s told the family she’s pregnant. Poncho tells her Chofis will take her to the clinic. If she is pregnant he will help her. She isn’t pleased about the clinic.
The older kids didn’t find Alexander. Aurelio brings the younger ones home from school and they find out. Tino asks Gisela if Melina was around. Aide overhears and asks if he thinks she took him. He doesn’t know. Scarlet is with Emi. She thinks they should call Lila to help. Emi says she doesn’t get along with their parents. Scarlet said Lila had fun with the concert and said she’d come back. This would be a good way to mend their differences.
Lila is upset with the way Emi took their news. Bill thinks he’ll come around. She wants to be alone. As Bill gets up Lila gets a text from Emi. Something horrible has happened.
Melina and Alexander are at the cafeteria. Alexander is eating an ice cream cone. Where are his parents. Melina says he’ll see them soon. Rino calls. He asks if she was at Maximax. Yes, she was. She had to pick up some papers and an IBS. Tino wonders if he can believe her. She sends the pictures. They’re coming right over. Melina Eli a texts Nazario that she needs his help.

Chofis comes in and tells Jeni they’re going to the clinic. Then Cheno comes in, he has a big surprise. All the kids are there and Serena comes in. Much jumping hugging and I missed you. When Jeni speaks up Cheno points to the door, wondering why she hasn’t gone yet. She announces she’s part of the family. There’s some confused looks and a how. She announces she’s expecting Poncho’s baby. Shock all around.
Natalia asks Prisma if they can fix a plate for her dad. Prisma says her dad is never going to live with them. Someone that loves you never yells and hurts you. Natalia is worried that the judge won’t let her live with her mom. Prisma says she’ll be in a house filled with love, which would please Prisma even though she would miss her. Natalia admits she loves Rudolf and Clara Luz, and especially Pipe but she wants to be with her mom.
Serena asks Poncho how he could be so irresponsible. Chofis says Jeni is older. Cheno says you give someone a hand and they take a foot. Poncho says he’ll take responsibility for the baby and Serena agrees he has to be responsible. Chofis mentions Jeni did a pregnancy test but Chofis plans to take her to the clinic. Serena says we’re going right now. The 3 woman and Poncho leave.Chachito is annoyed he’ll have to share his room.

When Jeni speaks up Cheno points to the door, wondering why she hasn’t gone yet. She announces she’s part of the family. There’s some confused looks and a how. She announces she’s expecting Poncho’s baby. Shock all around.
Natalia asks Prisma if they can fix a plate for her dad. Prisma says her dad is never going to live with them. Someone that loves you never yells and hurts you. Natalia is worried that the judge won’t let her live with her mom. Prisma says she’ll be in a house filled with love, which would please Prisma even though she would miss her. Natalia admits she loves Rudolf and Clara Luz, and especially Pipe but she wants to be with her mom.
Serena asks Poncho how he could be so irresponsible. Chofis says Jeni is older. Cheno says you give someone a hand and they take a foot. Poncho says he’ll take responsibility for the baby and Serena agrees he has to be responsible. Chofis mentions Jeni did a pregnancy test but Chofis plans to take her to the clinic. Serena says we’re going right now. The 3 woman and Poncho leave.Chachito is annoyed he’ll have to share his room.

My heart went out to Emi trying to process Lila being with Bill. I thought Bill genuinely loved his son. How on earth could he do that? How vengeful and sickening.
Uli was to foolish to videotape but he was sincere in his apology and very fortunate Yvette forgave him. Chofis was so brave to testify. A hard lesson learned for Uli.
How many ice creams did Melina feed Alex? The poor child was lucky he didn't fall into a sugar coma especially after the cotton candy! Melina is cold, calculating and beyond cruel.

I know Alex's disappearance wasn't Gisela's fault, but she doesn't seem to be as vigilant as she needs to be at times.
"Lila is upset with the way Emi took their news. Bill thinks he’ll come around." What did Lila expect??? Does Bill really think his biological son will accept his being with his sister?? Bill's storyline is beyond the ridiculous at this point. He let his son's love go to be with someone he doesn't care about for pure vengence??

The boutique hotel seemed to come out of nowhere! Did I miss something? I'll read your current post Diana after I watch last night's episode this evening.
OT
I'm running a day behind as I finally had a successful sleepover with my almost 3 y.o. granddaughter Wednesday night which entailed me staying with her from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. preceded by a 4 a.m. call from our neighbor that my horse was loose and hanging out near their gelding's paddock. Horse brought home, left out house at 8:30 a.m. and by 9 :45 got another message she was loose again! So I packed Fiona up and down to "the farm" we went to try and diagnose how she was escaping. We never did. Best I can determine is she wedges herself through the 4 strand flexible rope electric fencing. She has been in this set up nearly 10 years without trouble. I did find a medium sized branch on it which I removed, then off to the solar charger to see if that was functional. My husband tells me just touch the rope with the back of your hand! I hate electric as my father, a master carpenter, was not much of an electrician so I was shocked often as a child by our outlets. At any rate, the fence was electrified last year during Helene because it shocked me when getting a large branch off it. I guess maybe I shut the current off then because lo and behold it was in the off position. But it still didn't shock me or Fiona when we touched and grabbed it (while searching for clues, i.e.hoof prints) on the wrong side of the fence. So I told my husband to get a new charger , which unfortunately requires 3 days of charging before use! On a positive note, the fence is generating a small charge so it is holding my mare in ok.
And after the 4th time is the charm sleepover attempt my granddaughter informs me as I put her in the car, "your place is amazing, Nana". May she always feel that way. I also walked over 13k steps Wednesday which is the most post hip surgery....

Clara Luz is in the studio. Rudolf and Pipe call her. Pipe’s sad because he doesn’t play with Natalia much.Clara Luz says Prisma is working but soon things will be back to normal. Martin texts her. He asks her to gather Gibron’s things from the studio for the ex. His next text says the ex isn’t cooperating with the police. Clara Luz says El Chacal is dead. Martin texts back that that doesn’t close the case.
Melina walks in with Alexander. She says they had a good time. Aide wonders why she would take him as she’s also a mother. The police agent comes in about the missing child. They tell him Melina kidnapped him. She says they’re infused. Why would she be here if she had kidnapped him. He was wondering around outside and she brought him home. The agent asks what is the relationship between them. Just then Lila runs in and rushes to Alexander and hugs him. Circe takes him out of the room. Melina says this might be a good time to clear up the huge misunderstanding.
Serena thanks Chofis for being a good influence and being there for Poncho. The doctor comes out. They will see if she’s pregnant and then tell them how to proceed. Poncho tells his mom he had a STD.
Clara Luz is putting Gibron’s things in a box. She sees a group picture and Nazario is in it. She wonders why he’s in it. Maybe this is the beginning of the end for Nazario’s.
The doctor says Hernan can go. There are no police here so he’s free. He just needs to sign a release. He’s quite happy until Nazario walks in. He has a message for him from Melina.
Aide tells the agent Melina is telling the truth. She found her son in the street and brought him home. The agent says denouncing someone is very serious. Don’t do this again. After he leaves Melina says he was asking for his mom. Aide agrees, but Melina says no, his real mom, Lila

I’m so sorry for messing up like I did. One thing I figured out is it’s not a good idea for me to do this when I’m tired. I even had trouble finding the photos I took with my phone. Actually the first few were videos.
I had no idea what the secret was but I never suspected this. I actually never suspected anything because they never gave any clues. I wonder if they forced Lila to give them the baby. On a happy note, Bill now has a ready made family! What was Melina’s motive for taking Alexandra. To give him a sugar high? I think the security of that fenced yard usually kept Alexander safe. You never see a yard in the street scenes.
I still don’t trust Bill. Emi is right that he’s been with both his moms, and now his sister. And he cheated on his pregnant wife and was with Paulina when she and the baby died. I’m sure Aide didn’t know that!
Things are unraveling quickly. Six episodes left and still mysteries to unfold. And no one knows Iker is missing, whereabouts unknown.

OMG. I never, ever expected Lila to be Alex's mother!!! Like you, I never dreamed the big "secret" would be that! Not understanding most of the dialogue, it was only when Lila flew over to Alex with such intensity did I realize she was his mother. Shifty eyed, malicious Melina's declaration to that effect hovered in the air. So who is the father?? I have a feeling that will be central to Tino and Aide's declaring Alex to be their biological son. Why Lila would agree to that is a totally different matter; obviously she is hateful and resentful to them.
Hopefully, Bill will now wander off. Permanently.
