Episode 36 part 1
Mateo can't do a thing with Ximena. He steps back and rubs his forehead in agony. Aitana says the problem is even if there was hope for them his mother and brothers have destroyed that possibility by what they did to her.
Bruno is at the card table losing. I couldn't tell what his hand was when he folded, but perhaps he lost on purpose. He quits the game because he is out of money. El negro offers him a loan which he refuses (good for him, though I'm pretty sure this is all a means to an end). He says borrow money so I keep losing, no thanks. This is not my night. Bruno mentions something about the napkins ? I think El Negro is really named Orlando. One of the guys says Orlando, another victim, as Bruno leaves.
Creepy Mateo prints out closeups of Ximena and caresses her face in the photos.
Zac is talking with one of the ranch hands. The guy says Iñigo is making them work all nighters. They want Zac to negotiate better hours on their behalf (I think).
Clem comes out of the house wondering if Zac has seen Gael or dad? Clem has called them but they aren't answering. Zac thinks maybe they are resting in their car somewhere. Clem gets a call. Gael and Juventino have been in an accident.
Now Aitana is calling Zac who is t answering. She tells mom she'll send him a message. Mom thinks perhaps he isin an area with poor signal. Mom asks are you a bit better after what Alonso told us. Aitana says yes . I had an awful night though with nightmares. I was mixing up the 2 faces of the two Lucianos. Mama thinks they are cut from the same cloth, being related and all. Aitana says, no way. Mama keeps talking bad about him as Aitana insists he's a good man. Mama wonders why she is defending him. What happened with him. I fell in love with him? What are you saying, mama cries.
Back to Clem. Zac takes the phone to get the details. Gael is ok, but Juventino was injured. Gael rode with him in the ambulance. Clem prays her hubby is ok. Looks like Juventino fell asleep at the wheel and went off the road on a curve. (Sue Iñigo for making them work doubles!). Zac agrees with me, it's all that damn Iñigo's fault. They are at the hospital in San Benito. Clem needs the phone to message Micaela to tell senora luz(who is she or is it what the staff call Eloisa?)
Mama thinks Aitana has gone crazy. Aitana says it's how my heart feels. Mama now knows why she wants his engagement to end. Aitana says she wants it over because he doesn't deserve a cheater that has an affair with his own brother. Mom says are you sure it isn't so.you can have him for yourself. Aitana confesses she has a tiny bit of hope that he cares for her. Poor mama sinks down onto the couch in dismay. Mom wants her to bury her feelings for Luciano. It could out her life in danger. Forget him once and for all.

Poor Clem. She told Juventino to take a nap. He's not 20 years old anymore. Zac calms her down. Iñigo appears on the scene yelling at the workers to work harder. Zac tells him to shut up! Iñigo says I'm the boss, Zac informs him because if doubling the world his dad suffered an accident and is at the clinic in San Benito. To his credit, Iñigo says I'm really sorry.
Uh oh! Aitana is calling some official to have her daughter's remains exhumed to get a DNA sample. Mom overhears. She needs to know if any of the Lizarrága men is the father. Actually it's Alonso she is talking to. He is suggesting she gets the DNA done. It's extreme but can prove the violation if it's one of them. She's not sure about this. She needs to think about doing it. She hans up and tells mom, who says she overheard. She personally doesn't think it's a good idea ( yup she took the baby). It will be so sad for you. Aitana says, I have to do this for my daughter. Aitana is going to look for the paperwork .Mama yells no. I threw it all away. Aitana says you saved everything (your wedding invitation is mentioned, I'm thinking all would have been lost in the house fire, but continuity is not a strong suit in telenovela land). Mama says I do save things, but nothing from that terrible occurrence.
Zac tells Iñigo I warned you if something happened to Papa and my brother it's on your shoulder, as he pokes him. Iñigo throws his hand off, no me toques, imbecile! Iñigo tells. They start to break but the workers pull them apart. Clem gets out of the car yelling to Zac. Iñigo tells him I understand you're upset. I would be too, but don't disrespect me, I'm your boss. I'll take care of the hospital bills, etc. and if he dies? , Zac asks. Clem drags him away, let's go. Zac gets in the truck glaring at Iñigo, who reciprocates the glare
Aitana says I have to do this. Mama wants her to let her daughter rest in peace. Aitana isn't having it. She is calling Adolfo, and the clinic where she gave birth. She wants the death certificate and to find out where the baby is buried. Mama says, no your not going anywhere. Mama admits her baby didn't die. Aitana is speechless. She gives a half smile. What are you saying? My little girl is alive. Happy Aitana.
Bruno sends Belinda the photo with El negro behind him at the bar. Belinda thinks her dad is right and the mayor should look into him. Bruno seems to agree, he's going to stay close to him though. Belinda doesn't want him to risk himself. Love you she types.
She cries to mom all these years I've visited an empty grave (I guess she knows where the baby should be but needed the death certificate to have her exhumed. Mama admits it was an empty grave, she needed a place to grieve.
Where is she? I don't know Mama replies.
Micaela knocks on Eloisa's door to tell her that Clem is going to San Benito because of the accident. Eloisa wonders what they are doing on the roads at dawn. Mica says they were working. At this hour, is Eloisa's shocked reply. Zac is with her, I don't know details yet. Eloisa says keep me informed. And on another topic, senor Lomeli didn't sleep in his bed last night. Eloisa says he is always causing me problems.

Aitana keeps asking where is my daughter. Mama says let me finish my story. I searched for you for months. Finally I recalled your neighbor in Mexico City. I found you in a clinic nearby. We see a flashback. She is my daughter. The nurse says how good it is you recognize her. All we know of her is her name. She showed up here at 40 weeks with eclampsia and she went into a coma. The baby was delivered by Caesarean. Nobody looked for her (Aitana ) so, we sent the baby to an orphanage. Your daughter is in a coma and may die. The baby needed to be cared for. Mama wants all the info about the baby. The nurse says the office will give you the information but it's likely the baby has been adopted. Miriam says don't tell me that, I need to get back my granddaughter and my daughter, as she runs back to Adriana (Aitana). Back to the present, Aitana asks why did you never tell me the truth?
Eloisa says he's a bad seed that came to the house. When he returns, kick him out. Mica says will do, this is not a hotel. Mica dies think it's strange that he hasn't been heard from in 24 hours. Eloisa agrees, send Iñigo, Mateo and Bruno to me right away .
Miriam says she searched but didn't find the baby, and Adriana remained in a coma for months. The doctors felt after you woke up that the stress of searching for your child would be too much for you and so we kept the truth from you. Aitana didn't care that the baby was from the rape, she wanted her daughter with her. They both cry.
Iñigo and Mateo answer Mama's summons. Eloisa is not happy that Iñigo put her chauffeur to ranch work. Iñigo tries to justify using him, striking while the irons hot in the animal sales or something. Eloisa says if the word gets out (on social media, etc) how he is exploiting his workers it will affect their branding. Bruno walks in. He's all for the truth coming out. Expecting him to work from 8 to 6 is exploitation ((I laughed). And only eating once during the day! (Well he has a valid point there). Eloisa forbids Iñigo putting the workers in danger.
Aitana is going to search for her daughter.
Eloisa now asks does anyone know where Lomeli is.?
Miriam tries to explain to Aitana. She was a long time recovering. Sounds like money was an issue. You lost your father, your baby, and Zac who you abandoned to protect him from the potential wrath of the Lizarrága family. Need help in this part. Did Miriam go to work in the north to earn a better salary before the fire, etc?
Iñigo tries Lomeli's number with no answer. Eloisa says find him and when you do, send him on his way. He came for the wedding that isn't so he can leave already. Iñigo will search the ranch, Mateo will check the police and hospitals. Inigo suggests that Bruno check the bats. Bruno has no interest in finding the louse. Mateo and Bruno leave. Inigo tells mom, next time don't dress me down in front of my brothers. I'm in charge.
Zac and Clem find a bruised and battered Gael at the hospital wearing a neck brace. Dad took the brunt if it, he's in X-ray.
Nuria is calling Juanjo who doesn't answer. Ceci comes down the stairs. They think it's strange he's not answering. She tries again. He answers, he's outside her door. She hugs him. You scared me. Juanjo says I need to talk to you about Iñigo.

Eloisa gripes that she didn't have problems when Luciano was in charge. Inigo reminds her he's no longer in charge, he nearly ruined us. Enter Luciano. Did you hear about the accident, Luciano asks. This is bad Iñigo. You can't explore people this way. Iñigo tries to justify it by saying I'm trying to fix what you destroyed by saving money. So that's why you are risking our workers Luciano adds. Iñigo seems to nod yup, that's my job.
Juanjo tells Nuria that Iñigo threatened him. How, Nuria asks. He threatened to kill me, hurt my family if I don't stay away from you. I think Juanjo has children. Nuria feels its her fault. But Juanjo is a true galan. He's going to take legal action against Inigo, he's lives Nuria and isn't leaving her. They will remain novios.
Luciano and Iñigo both strut about acting like roosters about to fight it out. Eloisa breaks it up. Luciano is going to the hospital to check on the Castillos. Eloisa is going with him.
Is Nuria going to get a restraining order finally? Juanjo is staying in tonight, she's going to go over there, 2 are stronger than 1.
Mateo is places calling looking for Lomeli, leaving a description. Ximena brings him some tea. He doesn't turn to look at her, but asks if she slept well. She apologizes for crashing on him, but she slept great.
Zac calls Aitana about the accident. Aitana tells him to talk to Luciano about the overworked hired hands. He's not like Iñigo. He says he did discuss it with him but since he's no longer in charge...he quietly tells her Lomeli hasn't returned yet. Zac senses something strange in her voice. She claims the things that happened has brought back what happened in the past. He wishes he were there with her. He has to go and see about dad. Aitana tells him we'll talk later.
Ximena speaks of the Castillos accident. Mateo still won't look at her. He confesses he really cares for her, but she should stay away from him to be safe. (Did I get this right?) She says that Zac is the one that has hurt her, not him. Now he turns and walks toward her. She's serious. She runs to him and kisses him passionately.
Aitana remembers her pregnancy. She tells the baby she was given her for a reason and needs her in her life. She'll love and care for him or her. If a boy named for her (Adriana's)dad, and if a girl, Miriam like her grandma.
Mateo breaks away from Ximena. I told you the truth. I don't want to hurt you. Ximena asks how. He says I surely will. If you knew what I did last night you'd agree. She says what did you do? He just says I've never cared for anyone and I don't know how. She says he's a good and kind man. Mateo says, no you don't know me. The only one who knows me is mom, and she's the only one that knows what I'm capable of. She wants to know him better. Is it because I'm a lowly employee. In his defense, that never mattered to him. He still wants her to stay away from him.
Aitana recalls visiting her daughters grave with Mama. She says why were you taken from me. Back in the present she rubs her empty womb and says but you are alive, and smiles

Zac was asked to intercede on behalf of the workers, same salary for double shifts and night work. Zac resisted at first but when urged to do something he agreed to speak to Iñigo, but doubts it will help.
Yes, death certificate needed for exhumation order for DNA test to prove rape. Miriam: the casket is empty, I led you to believe she was buried there. You let me cry all that time over an empty grave?
Confused about chronology, but Aitana and Miriam had apparently lost touch for months or even years? Before the fire. Thanks, Kat, great recap and a great episode. So much is going on and I appreciate you getting all the details down.
I knew Miriam was away at work during the fire, but I assumed it was temporary, like a business trip. And I had no idea they didn’t have contact after the fire. I’m glad Miriam wasn’t guilty of giving away the baby. When she couldn’t find it she did what she thought was best for Aitana when she said it had died. But did she know Aitana was pregnant? Surely they had contact with each other before Aitana was in the clinic. How long will we have to wait before Aitana submits her DNA to help her find the baby.
I’m not sorry the ranch is in chaos because of Inigo. I hope Eloise decides Luciano needs to be in charge. But that might not happen until they find out Inigo was aware Larisa’s dad was broke.
I was worried Juanjo had been scared off. I didn’t realize he had kids but I’m sure they probably mentioned it.

Juventino is okay. Zac tells him to stop driving at night and working so hard. He's hungry. Gael is going to see if he's allowed to eat.
Larisa is trying to sell her jewels. The guy that bought the first batch tells her there is no real market for them here, try Mexico City, he's out.
Luciano and Eloisa come to see Juventino. She says they are taking care of all the bills, cutting the required overtime. Zac says not just for us, but all the workers. Eloisa gives her word it will be taken care of. Gael comes back with food. Luciano says it's a good sign if he's hungry, they chuckle. Juventino grimaces (it only hurts when I laugh. How many of us have been in his shoes?)
Belinda is walking with Rolando. She forwards the photo of El Negro to him, hell show it to dad. Belinda says her grandma told her it's important to be honest. She tells him she is adopted. He seems to be ok with it. She tells him she wants to know her origen. All she knows is her bio mom was in a coma after she was born. ((Ding ding). Thank goodness Rolando loves her whatever her background.
Poor Juventino is being dragged off for more tests. He can eat when he gets back. Luciano and Zac go to reception to give his particulars and arrange for the charges. Eloisa and Clem talk. Clem says Gael and Juventino accepted the double shifts for fear of being fired. Eloisa says as long as she lives their positions are secure. (With a brain tumor that may not be that long I'm thinking). Clem actually brings this up. Eloisa tells Clem it's taken care of in her will. She promised her husband (hey, I was just commenting that he is never mentioned and now Eloisa brings him up!). Clem thanks her.
Aitana is speaking with the orphanage and getting nowhere. The orphanage says since she was in a coma they did what was best for the baby. I think Alonso has another case to resolve! Where's my daughter. I need to do like Belinda and get in all those sites searching for her (but she does not say anything about DNA). Wonder when that lightbulb will go off.
Belinda arrives at Larisa's empty apartment. She's on the hunt for proof.
Aha, she's getting her DNA out there. She can't believe this is all due to Lomeli! She would never have known she had a daughter if not for him. Everything that Belinda is doing to look for her mom I'll do to look for my daughter. Miriam says now I understand the connection you had with Belinda. Gee, now another lightbulb goes off I think...

Miriam douses some of Aitana's enthusiasm. What if she is happy, doesn't know she is adopted or does know but doesn't want to know who her parents are.
Micaela and Ximena are cooking in the kitchen. Mica says it's good that the Castillos are not there it will help Ximena to have distance from then to get over Zac. Ximena smiles and says she thinks she's over him. She's interested in someone else. Mica says good, as long as that someone's isn't Mateo. Mica has definite ideas about the hierarchy and Ximena should not cast her eyes on the boss.
Belinda calls dad
There's no food here, I may go to the hacienda. Dad says there's no food there either as most everyone is her at the hospital. Juventino and Gael were in an accident.
Bruno is working with the ranch hands. A bunch of cattle are milling around them
Belinda tells dad that they will be getting back the London study abroad money
He says in your account. No, dad, it's yours. Luciano wins the discussion. It's hers now.
Aitana and Miriam go to pray to the Lady of Guadalupe at a church. Aitana wants help finding her daughter.

Luciano and Eloisa leave Juventino. Clem has off to spend time with him Gael and Zac are heading home. Luciano tells Gael he is on sick leave. Well that's a relief, Belinda is in the hospital. She came to see them. Luciano will wait for her in the reception area. She had to make sure Gael was ok. She hopes Juventino gets better soon. She loves him very much. Gael is smiling.
Aitana hopes her daughter is happy with a good family that loves her. And when I find her and she asks about her father give me the strength to and her questions.

The gang that left the hospital arrive home to police cars in the driveway. They ask if they recognize this man and show Lomeli's license. Eloisa says he's my nephew. We've been looking for him. Why do you have his license. The police says because he is dead.
Rolando talks to his dad. Dad is not pleased he is dating Belinda. Rolando defends the relationship. (So Rolando is a good guy, not so sure about dad the mayor. He seems a bit sinister).
Luciano asks how did he die. The police says he was hit by a car. We see Aitana at the road picking up her purple backpack. Lomeli has followed her. He literally walks in front of a truck in his dazed state. ( I had to laugh!.). The police didn't realize the relationship initially. Can someone I'd the body? Zac whispers thank God.
Rolando has to go study. One other thing dad, this guy tried to kidnap Belinda, and he shows him the photo and his name. Dad will look into it.
Clem and Juventino discuss how she came to work there. She got a recommendation from someone. (I could use some help with this convo, it could be important. Is she a long lost heir to the estate?)
Eloisa is taking Lomeli's death pretty hard. She'll call his mother. He was an only child. Mateo will go if the body (he jumped at that opportunity). Iñigo is going too to get his personal possessios, especially his cellphone. They don't understand why he was in the road.
Luciano will see if the Dr can come check on mom. Hopefully Aitana returns tomorrow. Iñigo callously says if not we'll hire a new nurse.

Zac calls Aitana with the good news. A huge weight is off her shoulders that she didn't kill him

I was also surprised that Mateo would stop himself from going to far with XImena. He is a demented psycho as far as I'm concerned, but he seems to genuinely care for her?
I do believe Eloisa is aware of all his bad deeds and she has been covering for him ever since he was a young boy. So I hold her responsable for not giving him the help he needed before it was to late.
Bruno is another victim of her stupid decision to "protect the family name".
Now that she knows her daughter is alive Aitana has to connect the dots about Belinda sooner or later.
She and Zac were dating at the time the rape happened so he could very well be the father.
The way I understood the timeline it was: Miriam went to work in a different region. When the fire and the rape happened Adriana couldn't reach her and so she just managed on her own while she was pregnant.
When she finally got back to town Miriam found out about the fire and he huasban's death but there was no evidence about what could have happened to Adriana. And she didn't know about Zac, either, so she must have been away for quite some time.
When she finally found Adriana months later she was already in a coma and the baby had been given away. So her priority was to take care of the daughter she had finally found.
But this is where I kind of feel like things no longer make sense. I understand not saying something when she first found Adriana and she was barely getting back from her coma. But it's been 18 years. Why not tell her 5 years later? or 10?
I have a hard time commenting because I don't want to spoil anything.
But i can definitely say that I really don't like Zac all that much - he is so clingy. Ximena is just the worst, the two of them should end up together.

And may I just say that Chris Pazcal is doing the role of a career? I never cared for him when he was doing bland protas, but as a disturbed villain he is one of the best I've seen in recent years. And he's still so young, he has so much potential.

Larisa has an order restricting her travel because of the fraud case, can’t go to Mexico City to sell her jewels.
Main development: Eloisa told Cleme they were untouchable, protected even after her death and for life, even if they don’t work. Eloisa promised her husband, it’s in the will (good job conjuring him up Kat!). Shrewd Cleme is immediately suspicious, something seems fishy, we are simple workers, what’s behind this generosity?
Later Juve asks her to remind him (and tell us) how she got to the hacienda? Cleme went to live with her aunt, who made her feel like a freeloader. Cleme got word that Sr. L wanted her to work at the hacienda—she had good references. Uncomfortable at her aunt’s, she went. Juve: who gave those references? Cleme: no idea.
That’s what I got. Possibilities! Intriguing.

At end when Ximena sympathizing with Mateo about Lomeli’s demise, Mateo got that weird look and said “we did a lot of crazy things”

Larisa has an order restricting her travel because of the fraud case, can’t go to Mexico City to sell her jewels.
Main development: Eloisa told Cleme they were untouchable, protected even after her death and for life, even if they don’t work. Eloisa promised her husband, it’s in the will (good job conjuring him up Kat!). Shrewd Cleme is immediately suspicious, something seems fishy, we are simple workers, what’s behind this generosity?
Later Juve asks her to remind him (and tell us) how she got to the hacienda? Cleme went to live with her aunt, who made her feel like a freeloader. Cleme got word that Sr. L wanted her to work at the hacienda—she had good references. Uncomfortable at her aunt’s, she went. Juve: who gave those references? Cleme: no idea.
That’s what I got. Possibilities! Intriguing.
Aitana acknowledged Zac could be the dad. He must know.
Bruno talking to workers, he’ll speak to Iñigo about working conditions. But he won’t listen to you! Mom will.

Well, Eloísa got a thumbs up from me protecting the workers from the whims of BSC Iñigo and even giving Clementina and Juventino the option to retire and seeing that their care is insured in her will for what that is worth.
Hopefully, she will be dead and gone before the further continual failings of her sons, minus Luciano, come to light.
Do we know when Eloísa’s husband died? Did the boys grow up under his tutelage or did she have to raise the four boys on her own. I got on board late and probably missed this background.
The rest was pretty much expected but not bad.
Adriana, I agree about Zac and Ximena. I suspect they will not end up together since she is drawn to Mateo like a moth to a flame and we know what happens to moths.

Jarifa, I've been watching all along and I don't recall the backstory about the husband of Eloisa. I get the impression he's been gone a while. Not sure if he was alive 18 years ago or not. I think Eloisa ran the ranch for quite a while before handing over the reins to Luciano. She still is the boss since she fired him and put Iñigo in charge.
For all the fans of the actor playing Lomeli, his was a short lived character! But this way Aitana can return. If he'd been in a coma too from the injury she may have been able to come back but she would have always worried about what would happen when he recovered. The cell phone is still out there for Iñigo to probably find, but I doubt they will think to preserve fingerprints. Refresh my memory, did Zac keep it when he found it?

Thanks for the great recap Kat. Some of that was confusing. It looked like moments after Aitana picked up her backpack Lomeli came out of the grass and got hit by the truck. It seems like she would have heard something. I thought Lomeli was right behind her, following her. I guess I was wrong. I’m pretty sure Zac picked up the phone and tossed it back down. That will get them in trouble eventually! The writers made a point of both of them touching the phone.
One thing I noticed was El Negro in the outdoor cafe and he saw Belinda and said “you won’t escape this time”. The waiter heard him ad he tossed some money at the waiter. He must have followed her to the hospital as he told the woman at the desk he was her niece. She told him the room number she went to but said she’s gone now. I was no the edge of my seat, sure he would kidnap her.

Eloisa calls Eugenia, Lomeli's mother, to break the bad news. She hates being the bearer of such bad news. Eugenia will be coming there. Eloisa puts Luciano and Bruno in charge of what to do with the body (sending to Mexico City?). She's going to her room to rest . She asks Belinda to ask Mica to bring her dinner to her room
Ceci checks in on Gael to see how he's doing, better for seeing her he says. She complains about not being able to do it at her sisters, anyone here? She starts kissing him. He says are you crazy this is my parents house! There's more to life than sex, companionship, talking kisses (it's funny the role reversal with these two).
Miriam brings Aitana some herbal tea. Aitana says now that the danger Lomeli presented is gone I'm going back to my plan, as soon as I give my DNA to the agencies. Miriam wants her to just concerned on finding the girl and forget about the plan. Aitana says DNA results can take 3 weeks (that's a slow timeline, seems lately thru pop the results out in 24 hours). She still wants to avenge her dad's death, break up Luciano and Larisa, and talk face to face with Zac about the possibility they have a child together.
Larisa has a bag packed. She's talking on the phone with Luciano about the death. She is taking a trip to Mexico City to sell her jewels. Will be back in a day or 2.
Ximena I'd tending her herb garden. Zac comes by . She's glad his dad and brother will be ok. He restates how sad he is about the baby and that it must have been even harder on her. A civil conversation for a change. He wonders what kind of a father he would have been. She says a great father. She no longer blames him etc. she is looking forward to a happy life with someone. Zac wishes her the best, but Mateo is not the one.
Aitana and Miriam have the lawyer over to tell him that she no longer is guilty of murder since he wasn't dead from the fall. He asks if she still wants to pursue charges against the others and exhuming the baby. She says not at this time. What do I owe you. Miriam tries to convince Aitana to not return. Aitana says I know Luciano will help me if I need it. She feels God is beside her and will help her find her daughter.
Nuria is at Juanjo's. She feels comfortable there and doesn't want to go out. He turns on the stereo. They progress to his best.
Eugenia arrives with lots of tears. He was a difficult child but I loved him. His father couldn't make it here because of work. His funeral will be in Mexico City..

Aitana tells her I'm going back to save Luciano, help him regain his position and to expose the other brothers and Eloisa.
Meanwhile Eloisa is telling Luciano how much she misses Aitana, her presence makes everything better.
Bruno is at the bar drinking tequila. El Negro comes to sit with him. Bruno isn't in the mood for a game. His cousin just died. It's made him realize how fragile life is. Negro has something to take his mind off it. His tablet has a bunch of "young models". Take your pick he says.
Juanjo and Nuria in the afterglow. She wants to get up, he'll turn on the light. She says no. Why not, you are beautiful. She says not after 2 pregnancies, cesareans stretch marks! Juanjo still thinks she's beautiful, come here for a hug. She feels guilty. She's not yet divorced.
Bruno isn't interested in any of the girls. Not what he's looking for. Negro talks about the girl that got away as Bruno clenches his fist to keep from tearing him to pieces.
Iñigo toasts to his dead cousin. They had some good times together. He pulls out his phone. Sends Nuria a text. Calls the house and Ceci answers (or he called her, I've yet to see a landline) he wants to know where Nuria is. Ceci doesn't know, and if she did she wouldn't tell him.
Aitana makes it back. She sees Luciano in the street and gives her condolences, including a hug. They nearly kiss but Zac interrupts them.
Iñigo goes to Nuria's. She relishes in telling him she and Juanjo are a couple in every sense of the word...big fight ensues, including him getting slapped in the face.

Mateo is going back with Eugenia to help. Eloisa says she's not happy he is dead, but...did they ever find his phone? Why was he walking in the toad. So many unanswered questions. Aitana knocks. Eloisa is glad to see her.
Juventino manages to get out of the hospital bed. He wants to walk but Zac says it's hospital rules, get in the wheelchair. She tells Zac about the curious conversation she had with Eloisa and that they couldn't be fired. She has a bee in her bonnet and she won't give up on it until it's solved Juventino tells Zac.
Eloisa needs to go to her radiology appointment. She tries to put it off. How can I go, my chauffeur is in the hospital. Luciano walks in and says he'll take them.
Meanwhile Zac is texting Aitana that the phone is still missing. He advises her to delete any messages Lomeli may have sent her or that she sent him.
Bruno talks to Luciano in his office. I met El negro in the bar. He wants to kidnap Belinda! Bruno says he showed me photos of girls of a similar age to Belinda. (Does Luciano know the trap he's trying to set)? Luciano wants to get the mayor involved. Meanwhile those girls are in danger.
The mayor has some lady that wants to meet with him. He goes outside to speak on the phone with someone. It's really a pretext. As we thought he is involved with El Negro. As Mayor talks on the phone he's actually talking to negro to give up on the girl he's obsessed with. She's from a good family and is my son's girlfriend. Negro says how was I to know. Now you do. Mayor looks at the girls on offer and says I'll take the blond. Same time and place as usual.
Iñigo calls his lawyer. Change of plans. I want the divorce, I want the girls and I want Nuria out in the streets.

It was so satisfying to see Nuria get the better of Iñigo, taking back her life, choosing Juanjo and a brighter, happier future. Iñigo will try and ruin everything of course but for tonight, Nuria was the clear winner.

Eloisa is clearly becoming fond of Aitana; the feeling is not mutual.
Ximena and Zac's relationship has completely imploded. From being happy and in love to treating each other to discussing the death of their child with regret but rather cold detachment.

How long until Lomelí’s missing phone is claimed? Who will end up with it? I wonder if Zac feels the necessary urgency to retrieve it ASAP but at least he told Aitana to erase any text/message mention of it from their phones. Could be too little too late.
