#34 part 1

Lomeli grabs Aitana by the hair and asks why she changed her name. He'll report her to the authorities. She shoved him away and says go ahead. I'll report you and your cousins for violating me 18 years ago. (Is the statute of limitations over? I think she waited a bit too long). He says do you think they will be even a woman who changes her name. Aitana says but Luciano will. He's not like you all. He'll help me get justice

Luciano asks Larisa what's wrong. She fubs and says she is getting insuring messages on social media. She's deleted and blocked them when he asks to deal with it. He takes the phone and throws it on the bed telling her don't even look at social media. Larisa says ok, I'll do that.
More arguing between Lomeli and Aitana. He grabs her again and she fights back kicking him where it hurts, darn the knee. She runs off with him in pursuit. Come back her he yells (I thought he said I'll kill you, but the subtitles said ven aca.)

Luciano and Larisa discuss eating, but she's not hungry, just wants to rest. He advises her to shut down her social media pages for now. She nods that she will. He'll see her in the evening, he's off to work, after he gets his forgotten cell phone. He leaves. Larisa is sure Aitana is the one that sent the video.

Ok, now he is saying he'll kill her after he catches her. He starts strangling her. She manages to grab a rock and hit him.

Bruno is out to lunch or breakfast with Belinda who is eating up a storm. He shows her a photo of the hand tattoo. She says that's the tattoo the guy that drugged me had. Why do you have it?

Back to the fight. Aitana manages to shove Lomeli away and he falls off a cliff. His cell is on the ground and it's Iñigo. She picks it up but then drops it and runs.

Bruno and Belinda talk about different things, then she has to go to the bathroom for you know what.

Iñigo brings his girls home. They bring their suitcases upstairs. Nuria tells Iñigo that she and Juanjo are going out together. His face falls.

Zac is in his cute house. He calls Aitana but she doesn't pick up so he leaves her a message. Then he calls mom and dad because he hasn't heard from her and he's worried. Maybe she is in a dead zone. They suggest.

Iñigo tells at Nuria. You can't go out with him it's only been 2 months? She wants to move on with her life. But why not with me he demands. Have you forgotten your lover, the humiliation I suffered by your mom for years, etc. but what about how I spent money on you and treated you like a queen. Money's nothing to her, she wants true love and she won't get that with him. Do the girls know? Not yet, I'm telling you first. He gets riled up.and starts breaking to things again as Nuria backs away covering her ears.

#34 part 2

Gael comes into get some coffee. He wants to introduce them to his amigovia ( friend with benefits). What's that Clem asks. Amiga or novia? A bit of both he informs her.

Ceci comes down the stairs asking Nuria should she call the police. Iñigo accuses Nuria of sleeping with Juanjo. Did she do it to wound him. He yells some more stuff I didn't totally catch and leaves. Nuria tells Ceci her marriage is definitely over. Ceci hugs her saying she's so sorry.

Zac is still at his kitchen table when there is a knock at the door. It's Aitana crying. I killed him. Who? Lomeli. He tried to kill me. I defended myself and he went over the cliff. I'm sure he's dead. Zac reaches for her to comfort her but she can't stand to be touched and he backs off. Calm down. Why do you say he wanted to kill you Zac asks? Because he discovered I'm Adriana Rodriguez and that he is the Luciano who organized my violation.it want Luciano larigazo, it was Luciano Lomeli. Zac is shocked.

Iñigo opens his phone searching for Juanjo I think by his law firm. Larisa calls him. What do you want. She says I found the proof. It was Aitana that told Nuria about us meeting at the hotel (not me). She sent me an anonymous message. He's not buying it. She says believe me, she sent me a video. She's sending it to him. It doesn't work (is there a way to ban video sharing when you send a message, or delete it after it's been viewed?). I'm not kidding Larisa insists. He thinks it is. Why involve Aitana? It's her, help me unmask her. Iñigo is tired of her and her stupid theories. Leave me alone he says and hangs up.

Zac brings a weeping Aitana some water. He says I always knew Luciano Larigazo was different than his brothers. Aitana agrees, especially when she saw how caring he was with Belinda, always concerned for others. Zac asks how it all transpired. He hears her account and says it was self defense.

Mica hovers in the background as Ximena takes care of Eloisa.

If he's dead, I'm a murderer! Zac says he's probably just hurt. Don't get ahead of yourself as she prays he's not dead. She's convinced she'll be sent to jail. She kept the truth from Zac about Lomeli because she wanted to protect him because she thought he'd kill Lomeli. When she was convinced it was Lomeli, that's why she fainted.

Ximena is being Uber caring for Eloisa in the hopes of getting Aitana's position. Eloisa tells her Aitana is coming back. You are a good employee and I love your team, but I need a qualified nurse. You do your job, Mica will give me my pills per Aitana's directions.

Zac is getting Aitana out of town. Go to your mom's. I'll see what I can discover about Lomeli. She thanks him.

Larisa is trying to recover the lost link. She follows the googled suggestions but it isn't working.

Aitana is on the plane and relives her fending Lomeli off. Phone rings but she ignores it. Larisa leaves a message. Answer the phone, I know it was you that sent the video. (May be time to cut your losses and stay in Mexico!).

#34 part 3

Aitana eventually answers Larisa. She tells her yes it was me. Luciano deserves to know about you because he is a good man. Ah, you want me to end things with Luciano because you want him for yourself.

Iñigo calls Juanjo. I need to talk to you. I'm at the coffee shop near your office, or would you rather I came to your office and make a scene in front of your colleagues?

Larisa continues beating Aitana. Aitana says she's with Zac. Larisa says Luciano would never get with a lowly nurse. Aitana says you need to break up the least hurting way with Luciano. Larisa says or what. I'll send him the video if you don't. Things will be much worse that way.

Zac sends Aitana a text asking where the argument with Lomeli happened. Ximena sees him and snips at him about missing his girlfriend. Did you get her pregnant.? Huh? Ximena says pregnant women pass out. No, she's not pregnant. Zac says But I was and I lost it she tells him.

Larisa is claiming she was a victim of Iñigo, lol . Aitana doesn't want to hear her made up excuses. Lucia blindly trusts you, he's lost his family and position in the company thanks to you. Laris says she loves Luciano with all her soul. Aitana says you wouldn't sleep with his brother if that were true .
Zac is speechless. Why didn't you tell me. I came back to tell you but you were with her. It's your fault I lost the baby, I was too dad to eat or rest properly and so I lost it. Ever since Aitana came you turned into another person. You both killed my baby. I hate you Zacarias. He tries to calm her by grabbing her wrists. Mateo shows up and tells him to let her go. Zac says it's between us. Ximena rushed to Mateo and says he and Micaela have supported me through this, he even took me to the hospital.
Larisa and Aitana continue to argue about Luciano. Then Aitana says something about Iñigo and sending the video to the journalists. Then hangs up.

Mateo tells Zac he is the cause of Ximena being unhappy. Zac says don't trust this guy, he's dangerous. Zac reminds him about his dead dog Lobo. Mateo says, this again! Don't be stupid. You know who was going to be responsible for the baby, me. Right Ximena. Ximena tells Zac , go to your Aitana and live unhappily forever with her. Zac pleads with her to stay away from Mateo, but she leaves with him. You know I'm here for you Mateo murmurs to her as he leads her away.

Belinda comes back from a horseback ride and talks with her dad. She had a good time with her favorite Uncle Bruno. He found the guy that drugged me. Bruno has a plan she tells Luciano who is all upset about the guy , whose called El Negro. Next time he drugs a defenseless girl he'll call the police on him. Luciano isn't so sure this is a good idea. He'd rather turn him in now. He's going to talk to Bruno. He wants her not to go around by herself, it's danger. She agrees.

Mateo brings Ximena to her greenhouse. He calls Zac a coward and a small man. She's concerned that they argued because of her. She apologizes for what almost happened the day before. Not sure what all he says to her but it reassures her.

Belinda brings Rolando to meet dad, he's my boyfriend. Luciano is flustered, his daughter has a boyfriend. She says he wanted to speak with you but I put him off because I wanted to tell you. Rolando calls Luciano by his first name as he tells him he wants Belinda as his girlfriend. Luciano still thinks of her as his little girl. Belinda says, true, but little girls grow up. Rolando, I hope you treat her well and respect her. He nods yes . He'll take good care of her.

Mateo is all set to give Ximena a kiss when his phone rings. It's a brother, wondering if he's seen Lomeli.

Aitana makes it to Mom's. She tells her I think I killed Lomeli. Huh! They hug.

Anyone watching this? I haven't figured out all the characters, not sure who the bad guys are, though Aura's 2 grandfathers are up there. Both grandmothers are nice.

I couldn't figure out who the other couple was that came to the birthday celebration. Friends of Monica's mom, aunt of Monica. Also, what was with the session with the 4 women at her house? A way to introduce extras?

Rebeca insisting she come back for her daughter! That daughter is 18 now, she could be out on her own.

So Rebeca got an extra 10 years for hurting someone in prison while protecting her blond friend, who just happens to now be a lover of the Cantu character. I wonder if he had something to do with that to keep her in jail longer

What lawyer was Monica looking for, was it a flashback to 10 years ago. So hard keeping things straight in the early episodes.

Kat, you are skilled at covering all the action without getting bogged down! A tense episode. Thanks for doing this after your busy evening.

El Negro, I think the idea to hold off on going to the police asap is to wait until Bruno gets more information, is it a trafficking network? (Maybe getting involved will help Bruno deal with his own trauma from Aitana’s rape.)

I too was struck by Rolando’s using the familiar form and calling Luciano by his first name, especially without asking if okay. No one reacted to it but seemed odd. Is Rolando an arrogant son of the mayor?

Amazed Aitana could tangle with hostile Larisa after what she’d been through.

Thanks Clara. If I do a mostly complete recap I try to do each comment per 20 minutes. Two days ago the last comment ran too long so I had to keep whittling away at it. I actually prefer doing a one or two comment long recap where I just hit the highlights, but this show seems to have some viewers that would like a bit more depth.

I'm hoping Rolando is a good guy. It would be nice if the two younger girls are happy with the guys they have and Belinda not pine for Gael. They are a bit young for their true loves, imo.

That makes sense about trapping El negro. Do you think Bruno is drinking in the bar? He seems to be in pretty good control.

I have some musings about Aitana. First, she touched Lomeli's phone. She left fingerprints. She did not get the police to take pictures of her near strangulation for a self defense reason if he is dead or injured. And the most unlikely thing, she was wearing a white skirt and had no dirt stains on from the scuffle that I could see. Why was she walking to town in the first place to catch her flight to Mexico.? Is there a bus stop nearby? Zac should have driven her.

Kat, this was amazing. You captured all of last night's angst and agony exceptionally well.

The Aitana/Lomeli scene was brutal and all too lifelike. I would have felt much better had I seen his body, clearly broken beyond repair further down the ravine. Is there any chance he could be alive (there was clearly a flicker of movement from one of his eyelids but it might just have been accidental). Like you Kat, I cringed when Aitana picked up Lomeli's phone. Why would she do that???

Aitana should have immediately reported Lomeli's attack but she is hardly prepared to answer what his motivation would have been, her being raped many years ago. That said, he is clearly a predator as the brothers know. But they would have denied her claims; perhaps except Bruno.

I do hate that Ximena is suffering so. She is truly the innocent party in all of this. Watching her walk away after her telling Zac about the baby was soul crushing. Mateo clearly has her in his clutches and I can't imagine what else she will have to endure but know that tragically, she will.

Iñigo threatens Juanjo (no surprise there); hopefully, Juanjo will realize how unbalanced Iñigo is and be able to deal with him.

Interesting that only Luciano seems to have escaped the evil and/or mental illnesses that plague all of his brothers. I hope Aitana continues to torment Larisa and that her cheating is soon revealed.

Rolando seems like a nice kid but I agree with you and Clara, calling Luciano by his first name seems just plain disrespectful.

Agree Kat, besides the fingerprints with the scuffle Aitana probably left dna, fiber and other evidence (as Lomeli likely left on her). She was hysterical — I fault Zac for not taking pics or preserving her clothes when she showed up.
Don’t know about Bruno’s drinking. He is buddies with bartender so maybe they have an arrangement and yes, he does seem sober.

Aitana’s travel. The hacienda is in or near a town called “Matlan,” mentioned several times. Not positive but I think that’s where they go for errands and do shopping. Google says there’s no such town. In the country of Mexico, people outside Mexico City say “Mexico” as shorthand for Mexico City. In Aitana and Zac’s conversations , they interchange “Mexico” with “la capital.” Aitana didn’t fly, she took the bus from the local town to her mother’s place in Mexico City. We saw her on the bus trip when talking to Larisa, and she arrived at Mom’s after we saw a Mexico City street scene. Why she walked to bus station, don’t know (never saw 33, preempted — then frozen On Demand!) Perhaps an explanation in convo between Aitana and Zac, or maybe just to set up solo encounter with Lomeli in outskirts.

Clara, thanks for clearing up the geography questions I had. I didn't realize that locals shortened ciudad de Mexico to Mexico. I've seen it as CD sometimes. Ah, Matlan, not Mazatlan. I thought it was a plane trip because I thought she was in another country.

Thanks for the comments Diana. I wonder if Luciano is a Cuckoo in the best. Maybe he didn't inherit the bad DNA. I think Bruno is ok, just a troubled young adult. Mateo and Iñigo on the other hand ...

Thanks Kat, that was a great recap of all the drama! And there was a lot. I’m also one that couldn’t believe she picked up the phone. And I thought she said her phone was down in the revine, would be evidence against her. But then she used her phone on the bus, so I could easily be wrong. I hope I am as her phone will have her arrested. I don’t think Loneli is dead. He didn’t fall that far down the revine. I’m wondering if he’ll call the police or his partners in the rape. Either way, Aitana needs to disappear for a while.

I’m glad Nuria decided her mat was definitely over. Inigo likes to throw things, I think he can easily lose control. Actually he already has, several times. Juanjo should have called the police when he took a baseball bat to Juanjo’s car. I hope he brings a friend when he meets Inigo.

I feel sorry for Ximena but she should have told Zac. He would have done the right thing and she’d still be pregnant. I can’t imagine what plans Mateo has for her.

Bruno is taking a big risk. If these guys are serious traffickers he could end up being accused. Last night was pretty intense.

Kat, I’m watching this, although I have no idea who most of the adult characters are. I think the one helping Rebeca gave her the bracelet when she was just in prison. And I think the father of the little girl is also Aura’s dad. But I’m not sure. The lawyer took their money, he wasn’t really a lawyer. That was when Rebeca got the extra years, I think.
The brother worked in construction and Wednesday night the Cante character mentioned his construction business. Since there are no coincidences in telenovelas I think the brother’s accident wasn’t an accident. Just a guess. I hope I can figure out these characters. Also, I agree with you, the sisters aren’t fighting over a child. Just introduce Rebeca as an aunt or tell the truth to the daughter.
I’m not sure if I’ll stick with this. I usually doze off and don’t bother rewatching.

Was anyone else contorting them selves on the sofa trying to help Aitana? !!!Get out your bingo cards ..someone went over the cliff ...is he or isn't he dead ? Remember that in " Domenica" , BSC Kiki went over the cliff...but lived to die a couple more times before they be finale . Susan
