MI verdad #60 part 1

Clem explains about her mother and fathers romance. His wife refused to let him get divorced, and times were harder then to get one. But he included us in his will. I think they corresponded together, her mother was illiterate but learned to read and write so she could write him. I think a nurse kept the letters and gave them to her aunt but I'm not clear on that. They all agree her father was a good man.

Micaela comes to Eloisa's room, Eloisa wants to talk to her. She wants her to stick around longer so she isn't left with the new hires, and Micaela tells her she's sure Clem and family will not come back to work for her.

Clem says her aunt decided to leave well enough alone since Clem never was curious about her paternity. But since she asked she told her the truth. Zac figures Eloisa hired her as cook to keep an eye on her and so they she didn't learn of her inheritance. She recalls Ricardo has her sign something but she didn't read it and trusted him. Clem needs time to think, but hit head Zac has made up his mind he's quitting and moving far away.

Eloisa offers Mica double pay if she stays. Mica says money isn't the point, you need to change your attitude with Ximena. I'll pack my bags if you don't change.

Luciano and Aitana are going crazy about Belinda. But they also discuss Zac and the Castillo family. She tells him he's furious, imagine how diff his life would have been. Aitana condemns the secrets and prejudices of Eloisa ( pot-kettle).

Clem is quitting and she expects Juventino to do the same. He says whatever you want. I listen to you and respect you (he took his homework to heart). She wants the boys to stay working on the ranch as partners. Zac still plans to.leave and she respects his decision. Then she asks what's new at hacienda?

Luciano says he'll make things right for the Castillos. But Zac and I rivals for your affection. She never imagined she would be caught between 2 related men.

Clem is upset about Belinda. Gael can't sleep because he's so worried. He can't imagine how Luciano can stand it. (He's realizing how much he likes her).

Bruno finds Gael, who's not working. Gael says not with what has happened. Bruno understands. He and Luciano will rectify things. Gael says at least I have no Lizarrága blood. Bruno says that's for the best. It's a curse. But you and Belinda, even though you are adopted, are family.

Aitana prays that he (God ) returns her daughter. As she sits in her room.

Armando comes to see Luciano. It's been confirmed, a hacker sent the message. He says since Rolando confirmed he told his dad about Belinda being adopted, that puts Tomàs at the top of the list of suspects. Luciano says Rolando is a good guy, but his dad! Armando says it will be a huge blow when he learns what his dad did. Armando then asks how are you so certain the bio mom didn't send the message. Luciano tells him because Aitana is her mother. Ortega (the informant in the mayor's office) calls Armando.
 

Mi verdad #60 part 2

Iñigo needs to talk to mom, as he holds the door for Karime to exit. Wow, the secrets you kept, and you have the gall to criticize me! Eloisa shuts him up. I don't want to see your face until you resolve your problems with Nuria. He says she kicked me out. Abuelo also committed errors. I want my inheritance while you are alive.

Ortega says they've found the location of Negro's band. He'll send the address when he gets it. Bruno enters during the call. Luciano is so hopeful.

Eloisa says you don't inherit till I die. Iñigo says with the new relations and Belinda being kidnapped our fortune will be diminished. I don't want to share it with anyone. He threatens to air her dirty laundry about how she treated the poor relations. Do as I ask or suffer the consequences as he kisses her on the forehead.

Armando is sent the address, he's off. Of course Luciano and Bruno insist on accompanying him. No it's too dangerous. I'm not staying here with the possibility of Belinda being there. Bruno says me either, Caty is there. Fine but do as I say Armando says in exasperation.

Aitana learns they are leaving to find Belinda but Luciano convinces her to stay as it's too dangerous..

El negro is dead. Henchies find him cold in his chair.

Police raid! Tomas calls through a megaphone, come out or we are coming in. Henchies 2 (Miguel I think) is shot. Tomas finds the other henchie, removes his mask and shoots him. Ortega enters after this and asks why did you shoot him. Tomàs says don't you see the gun? (I think it is next to Miguel).

The girls are paraded up some stairs to the entrance of the house. Armando Luciano and Bruno arrive. Tomas explains how they discovered the location. Luciano says where's my daughter as she and Caty exit the house. Bruno hugs Caty and Luciano hugs Belinda.

Belinda arrives home and runs into Aitana's arms. She thanks God and Luciano for returning Belinda.

Seems like Mateo just told Ximena about negro kidnapping Belinda. She's in shock. Also in shock about Zac being a Lizarrága. He says don't say that. She says but it's true. My baby would have been one too! He gets boiling mad. He is not equal to us. She says if you expect your mother to.accept me you need to accept them. He'll never accept they are equal.
 

Mi verdad #60 part 3

Lots of happiness in the hallway with Belinda's return. Aitana hugs Caty who is there with Bruno. Your nightmare is over the girls are told.

Ceci comes do the stairs as Nuria returns from the police station with Juanjo (finally got that restraining order it seems). Girls are in their room, I told them you were at work. She leaves. Juanjo says you have a great sister. She agrees, and there also is a great guy in front of me.

Eloisa is happy to see Belinda is safe. It's so good the mayor rescued you. Belinda asks about Mireya. She wants to.see her.

Nuria asks Juanjo if it's too late to resume their relationship. It's not too late and he's giddy that she initiated it by asking him. Answer is of course yes.

Aitana mother's cary now and asks how they can help. She wants to call her parents that she hasn't been able to talk to for months. Armando says you can't return home until you give your statements. Bruno asks Micaela to prepare the guest room for Caty.

Even though Negro's dead Belinda doesn't know how to stop the fear... Luciano will help her.

Karime tries to reason with an irate Zac. Think with your head, not your heart she advises him. Aitana calls. Belinda was rescued. Our nightmare is over. Karime and Zac discuss that Aitana deserves to be happy. Zac hopes she will be happy with him which dampens Karime's happiness.

Cary tells Aitana, Luciano, Belinda and Bruno her parents were so happy to hear from her. They understand she has to remain there a few more days. Armando is also there and before he leaves he needs to talk to Luciano.

Rolando talks with Tomàs. He heard about the rescue. He's s hero. I'm so proud of you. I'm glad you believe in me, your suegro doesn't. He showed up with Bruno and Armani. That's weird, Rolando thinks. He agrees, there must be a spy in the department. Rolando looks confused at his dad's response.

Armando and Luciano discuss the irregularities about Tomàs and the rescue. Supposedly they tracked the bad guys from closed circuit cameras near the park, but I think arms says there were none. Someone higher up than Tomàs is likely pulling strings. Also Ortega told me that Tomàs killed Horacio in cold blood. His hands were raised but Tomàs insisted he was armed.

Nuria tells the girls she has decided to divorce. Girls cry.

Armando tells Luciano it's a good thing you explained Aitana being the bio mom. It explains her behavior. He also has noticed Luciano is enamored of her. Is it that obvious, Luciano worries. Armando says it's part of my job to notice things. Luciano says at this time it's a secret relationship. Armando notes that when things get resolved she will be perfect for him .

Kat, thank you for another marvelous recap. You captured everything so very well.

Thank heavens the girls were rescued although the storyline was dragged out a bit too long. Relief all the way around. I have to say (begrudgingly) that Eloisa did seem relieved to see Belinda.

Things aren't going too well for Eloisa though, are they? Iñigo is deadly serious about talking and it's not an idle threat. I was thinking she might ask Mateo to intervene but Iñigo has dirt on him he doesn't want unearthed. Also, I did love the smirk on Micaela's face when she left Eloisa's room after one upping her during their conversation. :)

"Someone higher up than Tomàs is likely pulling strings". Hmmm.
