Hi Steve, I watched that match. Netherlands is one of my favorite teams to watch. Both teams were sloppy on the penalties. Morocco played well. Really surprised at Germany v Paraguay. More sloppy penalties.
novelera, did you read the Athletic article about watching the WC on Telemundo? The comments were great. Now the Athletic readers know about ESDLC and El Turco.
I'm really trying to get the golden recap finished. Too many soccer matches, so little time.
Hi Steve, I watched that match. Netherlands is one of my favorite teams to watch. Both teams were sloppy on the penalties. Morocco played well. Really surprised at Germany v Paraguay. More sloppy penalties.

I did not read that Atlantic article. Thanks for alerting me., dondi. And, no, Steve, I did not watch that one, only saw a video of the ending. Yep, dondi, Copa Mundial is impinging on our dizi recaps. Not to worry. I am rather liking the slow pace. Because of being on the West Coast, I felt obligated to put up my recaps that same night or the East Coast people would be disappointed when they logged on. Got my stitches out today! They still want me to wear the hard plastic brace nearly all the time. But, since I take it off for hand exercises, I can certainly type a bit.

It was a wild ending, Steve and Dondi. I thought Netherlands would win it all. After Germany, I was stunned to have another Wild ending last night!!!
It’s very hard to do recaps during WC, Dondi. We could take a holiday break if you like.

Before the next episode is published I just want to.say how much more enjoyable this novela is than the Mexican standard of choppy short scenes. Developing a scene for 15 or 20 minutes is so much more satisfying to watch. I realize it's probably because the episodes are 3 times the length, but I just wanted to make the observation.
