TELEMUNDO Y MÁS (#2): Week of June 15, 2026
Here's Page 2 for the week. The current telenovelas are as follows (all times are Eastern Daylight Time):
Yali Capkini/Golden Boy
Apparently, Telemundo will not be showing any new telenovelas while the World Cup is on. All their coverage will be devoted to the World Cup games and to programs about the games. So I am listing only Golden Boy, which some folks have been watching at varied times.
Everyone is welcome to join in the conversation. Since discussions of all the novelas share the same page, please remember to put the name of the telenovela you're referring to at the top of your post, so readers can easily find the conversations they're looking for.
By common agreement, this group DOES NOT discuss previews, trailers, or any other plot information not found in a current or past episode of the current production. Spoilers WILL be removed by the admin. This includes reference to earlier productions of the story, and even the original novel. Thanks for your cooperation!
Cast taken off my hand today. I can sort of type, but the cast was replaced by a brace that I am to wear all the time except when I do the required hand exercises, Then physical therapy starts next week. This is WAY more complicated than I expected. Don’t know when I could type well. Now the rest of the fingers work, but I have to take them off the keyboard in order to type an “a” or to type the shift key. And I probably should not have the brace off for the amount of time it takes me to type a full recap. Lo siento.
Excellent recap, dondi.
Enjoyed sez who. Of course Fuat wanted Ferit to be confronted by Seyran.
Has anyone else said they suspect Kazim is being scammed by the doorman and his friend?
Also loved the phrase about Kazim: light bulb in a dark mind.
Why didn’t Efe think of Suna for the job? He was wowed when he first saw her.
So Seyran just let the poor children down? Was some other charitable thing discussed? I was so shocked she turned Efe down. OTOH Viewerville was suspicious of him.
That’s all folks!
Golden Boy – Yali Capkini – Poder y Traicion
Episode 67 #1 of 9
“Good intentions aren’t enough”
Sefika and Sultan have been talking in the kitchen when Latif walks in: I always hear you gossiping instead of working.
Sultan: You get what you pay for, Mr. Latif. At this point, I don’t know what tasks are still my responsibilities.
Latif: What are you trying to say?
Sultan takes a deep breath: What you heard. Sefika’s been trying to cook all morning and waiting for me to help her, yet her pay remains the same! We are not slaves.
Latif: Sultan, are you hearing what you’re insinuating? Shut your mouth.
Sefika: Excuse me, but what Sultan said is right, you treat us like slaves.
Sultan: The solution is easy. Either hire more people or give us substantial raises. Plus, you should stop storming in here to scream at us because I’ll remind you that you are talking to two older women.
Latif, snarling: Enough. Shut your mouth. In this house you do what I say! You should be grateful to be working in this house and serving the great Mr. Halis. If you’re unhappy, leave.
Latif gives them both a long look and then leaves the room.
Sefika and Sultan heave a sigh of relief. Sultan even has a little grin on her face.
Upstairs, Seyran is drawing. Her phone rings and it’s Ferit, who asks what she is doing. They exchange some small talk. He tells her he had something to tell her. He tells her he will be late coming home tonight. Mr. Sadik and he have to work, so don’t worry. She agrees. She asks him if Sadik is near him then. Is that why he sounds like that? She tells him he sounds very serious. Seyran asks to speak with Sadik. Just then, Sadik enters the room. Ferit tells her they are working. He will call her later. She tells him she only wants to ask Sadik a question. Ferit is obviously uncomfortable with this, but stands and takes the phone to Sadik, covering the phone to muffle the sound.
Ferit: Mr. Sadik, I told my wife we’d be working late tonight, and she’d like to speak with you. Sadik looks startled. Ferit makes a prayer gesture and hands the phone to Sadik.
Sadik: Yes, dear?
Seyran: Ferit told me he was working late tonight and didn’t know how many others would be staying. I’d like to send you some food, if that’s alright with you.
Sadik: Of course, but you don’t have to do that, Ma’am. We have a deal with a company that sends us food.
Seyran: I understand. I hope you finish soon.
She hangs up. She notes to herself that he couldn’t have bought it so quickly.
Sadik gives Ferit his phone back: Don’t think I’ll keep quiet about this. I’m going to notify your grandfather immediately that you lied to your wife.
Ferit, looking remorseful: Mr. Sadik, I haven’t been getting along with my wife lately, but I’m preparing a surprise for her and Grandpa knows. Tell him if you like. By the way, thanks for your help with her. If she’d caught on, she would’ve come to the office and caused a commotion, I swear.
Sadik: I’d be surprised if you didn’t come here to cause problems. They’re always accusing me of not liking our new hires. New people mean new problems.
Ferit: You’re right about that, but we just got married. I’d like to focus on work, but when she can’t find me, she becomes very jealous, and I still don’t know how to manage that. Sometimes it’s hard to obtain everything you want in life.

Episode 67 #2 of 9
Sadik: Fine, now put your phone on silent. And listen up, from now on keep me out of your personal relationships.
Ferit assures him of this.
Sadik: How can I be sure that the woman I spoke with was really your wife, or that you didn’t lie to her so you can go someplace else?
Ferit: Don’t say that sir.
Sadik: Don’t you dare.
Ferit: I would never, sir. One day I’ll bring Seyran and you can ask her yourself if it was her you spoke with on the phone. You’d probably embarrass her.
Sadik: Fine, go back to your desk.
Ferit: When you like, we can go over these documents.
Sadik doesn’t answer and Ferit goes back to his desk. His phone rings and the caller is Sadik Bey. Ferit starts to work, looking very industrious.
At the yali, Ifakat is sitting in her room when there is a knock. It is Latif. He says that she wanted to see him. She tells him to sit down so they can speak. He looks annoyed and closes the door first. He sits and tells her he hasn’t got much time. Ifakat promises to keep it short and sweet. The employees are asking for raises, and not only did you tell them you would do nothing, you also told them to look for new jobs. She asks him how he could respond that way.
Latif asks her if they complained to her. She nods, and he tells her that just proves how right he was to respond in that way.
Latif: I’m sorry, but if the inmates ran the asylum, there would be chaos.
He stands to leave, but she continues.
Ifakat: That’s precisely what I fear, that the order of things would be upset. Let’s say they do leave, how certain would you be that the new employees would be trustworthy?
Latif: Everyone is judged as they deserve. They can do what they like. If they want to leave, so be it. Here, they’re fed, and they’ll always be safe. What more can they ask for? How dare they ask for more than what they are getting now? It’s shameful.
Ifakat: If any of our employees quits, you and I are going to talk.
Latif: Whatever you say, Ma’am. Don’t worry about that. Anyone who’s no longer useful to this family can leave whenever they want. And if anyone tries to, Mr. Halis won’t try to stop them. You know that very well.
Latif strides out of the room. Ifakat has her sneaky smile on.
Hattice and Suna are dressed and ready to leave their home. Kazim is sitting in his easy chair and notes that Hattice is dressed in blue , as he thinks, to drive Halis crazy.
Hattice: What are you talking about, Kazim? We are going to the yali to see Seyran.
Kazim sits up: Seyran? Why?
Hattice tells him she’s taking Suna to the yali. She asks him if he didn’t say those men were coming the next day. Kazim tells her yes. Hattice tells him it isn’t right, and she’s going to speak to Mr. Halis about it.
Smiling broadly, Kazim says her problem is clear: What are you going to talk to Mr. Halis about? Isn’t it enough that you speak to him on the phone every day?
Hattice: Don’t question me again! It was you who asked me to do it. Some things can be discussed on the phone; others need to be talked about in person.
Kazim draws closer in anticipation: Are you talking about the company office? Tell me, what’s your strategy? What do you plan on doing?
Hattice tells him that’s enough. She will see him later. Suna is watching this interchange with a little grin.

Episode 67 #3 of 9
As they leave, Kazim tells them to give greetings to Halis and not to be late coming home.
Hattice looks at him: It’s already getting dark. Of course I’ll be late. You should take a look at the kitchen.
Hattice and Suna leave Kazim. He’s wondering what’s in the kitchen. He calls for Esme. She’s all dressed up and comes toward him. They exchange flirty banter. Kazim asks if they are celebrating the Chinese Year of the Rabbit? What’s going on? She tells him she thought she could make him a nice dinner. He tells her they need to eat to have energy. He tells her she looks nice in blue. [Apparently Kazim really likes blue!]
At the yali, Fuat enters his rooms with a large bouquet of flowers and a determined expression on his face. He and Asuman look at one another briefly and he tells her he is very sorry and asks if she can forgive him. She tells him of course and takes the flowers. She motions to him to sit on the bed besides her. He kisses her cheek. She tells him things like this sometimes happen.
Fuat: Would you like to go out? I didn’t make any plans because I wasn’t sure how you’d react.
Asuman: You could have called to check.
Fuat: I didn’t want to.
Asuman: Fuat, what are we doing?
Fuat: What do you mean?
Asuman: I’m not happy, and I know you aren’t either. What kind of life are we living in this house?
Fuat: What are you trying to say?
Asuman: Let’s leave. We could move out and live in our own home. I want to live alone.
Fuat: Now I understand what the problem is. Your intentions are obvious, Asuman.
Asuman: I’m trying to save our marriage. And if you were to try too, …
Fuat interrupts: If you see our marriage as something that needs to be saved, then it’s obvious that it’s over.
Asuman: That is also an option. If that’s what you want, let’s end it. But I don’t want to live like this anymore.
Fuat, angrily: Then it’s over.
He walks out of the room. Asuman bends over with grief and cries.
Fuat continues to walk out of the yali, catching Suna on her arrival with Hattice. Suna greets him and he continues on his walk, but not before watching her walk away with some interest.
Gulgun and Orhan are walking downstairs all dressed up. She tells him he is as unpredictable as their son. She asks why he wants to leave the house, and he tells her he just wants to go out with her. Since Halis isn’t there, it’s a good time to go out.
Orhan continues: Besides, I have important things to talk about with you. Unpleasant things. Gulgun: Are we separating?
Orhan: Of course not. But I don’t know how you’ll react when you find out.
Gulgun: Orhan, is it something serious?
In walk Hattice and Suna.
Gulgun: Welcome.
Hattice: Thank you. I wanted to personally drop off Suna and also speak to Mr. Halis. Now that he’s working, I haven’t spoken to him all day.
Orhan: Is it about something important?
Hattice: No, just stuff about the kids and Kazim.
Gulgun: We were about to go out, but we can join you.
Hattice: No, no, no. Please don’t change your plans. I won’t be here very long. Latif will keep us company.

Orhan: Alright, have a good night. We just wanted some time alone without having to worry about the kids.
Hattice: Good. I’m happy for you. I hope Ferit does the same with his wife.
Gulgun: As do I.
Gulgun and Orhan leave and Hattice tells Suna to go and see her sister. She tells her she wants to know if everything is OK and if she’s happy. She also tells her to find out if Ferit’s back home.
Suna agrees to do this.
Upstairs, Seyran is all dressed up in a very short, ruffly pink dress. There is knock at the door, and Dicle brings her flowers from Mr. Ferit. Dicle tells her she put them in a vase and Seyran thanks her, taking the flowers. She reads the card that says: Wife, I’m swamped at work and will be home late. Don’t wait up. Sorry, Ferit.”
Seyran looks up with sad eyes. There is another knock on the door, and Suna enters.
Seyran: Suna, when did you get here?
Suna: Aunt Hattice had to speak to Mrs. Halis about Dad. I don’t know what it’s about, but she asked me to come with her.
Seyran: How weird. Why didn’t you call?
Suna: I don’t know. I thought you had other plans with Ferit, and I didn’t want you to feel obligated to stay home because of me.
Seyran: He had plans. Look.
Suna looks at the flowers and note: Where is he? He’s not home yet?
Seyran: Working, or so he says.
Suna: Working? It’s his second day. Who’s he trying to fool?
Seyran: I spoke to Abidin in secret. They do it at night. He mentioned a real estate agent. He’s still thinking about the apartment.
Suna: I don’t believe it. After everything that happened, he couldn’t possibly.
Seyran: You want to know what he’s capable of, sis? He’s lying to me, and he’s with his girlfriend right now.
Suna: Please don’t cry. Speak to Mr. Halis. Aunt Hattice is with him. Go on! If he’s working, he can come back.
Just then, Seyran’s phone starts to ring.
Suna: He’s calling. Don’t judge him. First, ask him where he is.
Seyran: Yes.
Ferit: You didn’t call me, wife of mine. Didn’t you get my flowers?
Seyran: I received them.
Ferit: Didn’t you like them?
Just then, there are cars honking from Ferit’s phone.
Seyran: What’s all that noise?
Ferit: I went to get food for Mr. Sadik and me and trucks are passing by. I‘ll call you in a few minutes, OK? I’m going to hang up.
Seyran: He hung up on me. I can’t believe him. He said he’s at the office, but I heard traffic. He probably went to see that woman.
Suna: I don’t know what to say. Oh, is Mr. Abidin here? We can ask him.
Seyran: Even if he knew, he wouldn’t tell me. But I know someone who might know where he is.
Suna asks who, and Seyran tells her she will ask Mr. Latif. He should know. Suna wants to go with her, but Seyran tells her to wait there. She tells her she wants to be sure first.
Seyran finds Latif walking to the front door. She tells him she was looking for him. He asks her if there’s a problem or if she’s going somewhere.
Seyran: Ferit hasn’t come home. He says he is working.

Episode 67 #5 of 9
Latif tells her he can gets her a car if she wants to visit the office. Seyran tells him no, that Ferit won’t be there. She tells Latif that Abidin is the only person who might know. Latif tells her that Abidin took the day off. He and his friends are camping outside the city.
Seyran: So, they went camping. Do you think Ferit is with them?
Latif: If they’d gone together, he would have told you.
Seyran: Look, either Ferit lied to me, or Abidin lied to you. If you know where he is, please tell me.
Latif: If you’re upset, don’t investigate. It doesn’t matter. You’ll talk when he comes back.
Seyran: Ferit just doesn’t understand. You know that, too, Mr. Latif. Please, I have to save my marriage, but I need to see him for myself. I promise I’ll bring him here.
Latif looks disinclined to help, so Seyran then asks him if she needs to speak with Mr. Halis again.
We see Pelin dressed up telling someone she’ll be there in half an hour. She also has a box with an overcoat and boots by her door.
At the fancy cabin, Ferit is putting finishing touches on a feast with candles and wearing a boutonniere He answers the door to Seyran. (The writers played a little trick on us here!) We see Pelin at her friend’s house with several friends.
Seyran looks around at the romantic bed covers, candles, etc., of the cabin. She doesn’t look very happy.
Ferit tells her: Surprise! Ferit Korhan’s allowed to surprise his wife if he wants to. Nobody can stop him from doing that.
Ferit gives her a big hug: My beloved wife. Welcome.
His arms are around her, and her hands are clenched into fists.
Ferit: Seyran? Are you OK? Don’t be upset with Mr. Latif. He helped me because we wanted to surprise you. If you hadn’t gone to him, he would have come to you to tell you where I was.
Ferit is enjoying this and laughing.
Seyran: But Abidin and my sister? Did they both know?
Ferit: I told Abidin to go for a walk. Maybe he’s back by now. But your sister didn’t know. Naturally, I thought Suna might get you riled up, and I was right.
Seyran shoves him several times: What kind of surprise is this? I was worried all day, idiot! Do you understand what you’ve been doing to me since this morning?
Ferit: Seyran!
Seyran: Idiot!
Ferit: Forgive me.
Seyran: Let me go.
Ferit: No, I won’t, Seyran. I’m sorry. I was just trying to make you happy, I mean it.
(He kisses her hands.) I’m sorry.
She looks at him intently.
Ferit: Seyran, I think you could tell me that you’re in love. Tell me you love me.
Ferit reaches insisde her coat to her waist.
Ferit: Only me. (We get some nice Turkish music.) Tell me I’m the only one. Isn’t it time you told me, Seyran?
She is weakening and leans toward him. They finally kiss. He removes her coat. He places his arms around her. They kiss. He removes his coat.
FLASHBACK: Suddenly, she has a flashback to when he forced her to wear the white nightie.
Then she remembers Pelin telling her: Now that Ferit knows I can be far away from him, he’ll turn his interests toward you. He’ll never give up until he gets you to completely submit to him. He’ll put you through what he put me through. When he knows you’re completely his, BINGO!
Seyran pushes Ferit away. She grabs a pillow and holds it.
More FLASHBACK: Pelin: Ferit will run off with another woman like he always does.

Ferit asks: What’s wrong, Seyran? Did I do something wrong?
Seyran: Ferit, I’m hungry.
Ferit: What?
Seyran: I was so worried about you that I haven’t eaten anything since this morning.
Ferit: My lovely wife, I can’t live without you. What do you say we not ruin this moment?
Seyran: Ferit, I’m not kidding. I need to eat.
Ferit puts his arms around her waist again.
Seyran: We should sit down and have dinner. Please, Ferit.
Ferit is not very happy when she sits down and starts eating.
Ferit: Seyran! Fine, whatever you want. We’ll eat first.
[His expression made me laugh. His surprise isn’t going the way he wanted.] He laughs, watching her eat: You really are hungry!
Seyran continues to eat and then retrieves her coat and handbag from the floor, placing them in a chair. She reaches into her bag for her phone.
Seyran: My sister is worried about me.
Ferit: OK, tell her we are OK and then turn off the phone. Don’t let it ruin the moment. He laughs while watching her.
At the yali, in the little alley where Suna and Abidin meet, Suna gets her message.
Suna: Finally!
Abidin tells her to shush.
Suna: Seyran texted me that they’re OK.
Abidin: I told you so. I get that you don’t trust Ferit yet, but you could at least trust me. Even the cabbie that took Ms. Seyran knew.
Suna: Can I really trust you?
Abidin: Of course. With anything.
Suna: OK, let’s say that Ferit messes up with Seyran, and you find out. Would you tell me?
Abidin: What about you? If Ms. Seyran hurt Mr. Ferit, would you share that information with me?
Suna: That’s different. Seyran is my sister, my blood.
Abidin: Ferit is like a brother to me. I don’t have anybody else. Think about it.
Suna reaches for Abidin’s hands: Don’t say that you don’t have anyone else. I’m here.
Abidin lifts her hand to kiss it: Ms. Suna, ah Suna, would you like to forget about everything else and be together?
Suna nods yes.
Abidin: I’m going to promise you something. Even though I can’t always explain, I’ll do everything I can for you and Ms. Seyran to be happy. I promise.
Suna, smiling: For me to be happy, all I need is you by my side. That’s enough for me, believe me.
Abidin reaches over and they embrace, Suna’s arms wrapping around Abidin.

Back at the cabin, Ferit is holding his head in frustration at a window and Seyran is sitting inside.
He walks over to her, chewing on his lip.
Ferit, takes her hand: Look, Seyran, maybe I messed up. Maybe I couldn’t make your dream a reality. But I’m trying. Can’t you see that? Doesn’t any of this mean anything to you?
Seyran: Of course it does. It means a lot.
Ferit takes her hand and kisses it: Then why do you run from me? Don’t you want to take our relationship to the next level?
Seyran’s expression changes: You’re doing the same thing again, Ferit. Everything’s my fault that tonight didn’t go how you planned, right? That’s what you believe and you’re trying to convince me of that, too.
Ferit stands up and raises his voice: Yeah, that’s what I think, because it’s the truth. Besides, I’m not doing anything extra. I’m just trying to communicate with you. But you’re so stubborn you can’t see it. Everything I do is in vain. It’s all useless. What else can I do? (after a pause) Whatever. I want to leave.
Seyran has been moving her mouth around as she often does while thinking. She tells him she agrees. Whatever you want.
Ferit: I don’t want this. You do.
Seyran: No, I don’t. It’s your decision.
Gulgun and Orhan are enjoying a meal at a restaurant. He reaches for her hand and holds it.
Giulgun: You’re scaring me. I’m listening. What did you have to tell me that’s so important?
Orhan: Fuat and I did something at the company.
Gulgun: What did you do?
Orhan: Without Halis’s knowledge, we started some new companies. And we have separate accounts.
Gulgun takes her hand back: How could you do something like that without his signature?
Orhan: With Ifakat’s help. While he was signing other things, she got him to sign the documents we needed.
Gulgun: What? Ifakat, you, and Fuat? Who else is involved? And why did you keep it from me? Well, forget about that. Why’d you do it?
Orhan: When he’s gone, that woman will show up with her son and claim her share. I couldn’t let that happen.
Gulgun: You’re stealing from Halis Korhan while he still draws breath? Have you lost your mind? How could you?
Orhan: It would have been fine if he hadn’t returned to work, but now all he does is review documents, and I’m honestly not sure he won’t notice.
Gulgun: We’ll be thrown out of this house this time, and with good reason. How’d you manage to convince Fuat to get involved?
Orhan: Look, even if my father does throw us out, we have all the resources we need to maintain our lifestyle. I did it to gain our freedom. I did it for our family.
Gulgun: You did it for our family, but you shared it with Ifakat and not me, didn’t you?
Orhan: Fuat and I made that decision. In case something went wrong, we hid it from Asuman and you so that you could remain at the house.
Gulgun: So you kept this a secret because you were trying to protect us?
Orhan: What could I do, Gulgun? What if that woman shows up one day and tries to take everything that’s ours? Is that what we want?
Gulgun is impactada.

Episode 67 #8 of 9
At the yali, a taxi arrives. An apparently inebriated Fuat gets out and struggles to walk.
Mustafa asks if he is OK. Fuat tells him his car is at the restaurant and to go get it. Mustafa asks which restaurant.
Fuat is ready for something and walks to the yali calling out in a loud voice for his grandfather. Abidin and Suna hear this. Abidin recognizes Fuat’s voice. He gets up to go find out. He tells Suna to stay there. She tells him that if anyone sees her there, she will be in trouble. Abidin agrees and tells her to go inside the house: Make it look like you heard something and came to check. Abidin will go one way. She heads for the house the other way.
Fuat: Grandfather! Grandfather!
We see Ferit’s vehicle enter the compound.
Mustafa tells Ferit he has good timing, that Mr. Fuat is drunk and calling for Mr. Halis.
Ferit: What!
Fuat has entered the yali and is yelling from the entry way for his grandfather. He asks if Halis can hear him.
Suna walks toward Fuat. Fuat is rambling about not buttoning his coat, calling for Halis,
Abidin comes up behind him and asks if he’s feeling alright.
Fuat: What are you doing here?
Fuat shoves Abidin.
Ferit comes in: Brother, what are you doing? Let’s go inside.
Fuat: Don’t touch me! Get your hands off me. Grandpa’s going to love me too, now.
Seyran is standing with Abidin behind Fuat.
Fuat: You know why? Because I’m going to give him a great-grandson. Know how? Because I’m getting divorced. Grandpa!
Ferit runs to Fuat and covers his mouth with his hand: Shut up!
Seyran runs past the brothers.
Fuat, mumbled: I’m getting divorced.
Seyran sees Asuman standing there, watching this. She is very upset. Seyran tells her to calm down, to stay calm.
The brothers continue to tussle, and Fuat finally punches Ferit. Ferit falls to the floor and then returns to Fuat.
Fuat: Are you all happy? My wife and I are getting divorced because of you. It’s your fault!
Ferit: Calm down. Come brother.
Fuat throws Ferit away from him: Let me go! Mr. Everyone’s Favorite. Stop it! I’m tired of you! I hate you!
Ferit tells him he’s not letting go and tells Fuat they should go inside.
Fuat starts to cry: What do you care?
Ferit tells him to stop shouting. Fuat tells him he will shout if he wants: He’s my grandfather too. Grandfather!
He starts shouting for Halis again. Ferit tells him to relax.
Fuat: Grandfather, can you hear me?
Finally, Fuat appears to relax while Ferit is holding him. He is sobbing.
Fuat: Congratulations. It’s great news. Asuman and I are getting divorced. Now you finally get to be an uncle.

Asuman and Seyran are watching this, Seyran, holding and comforting Asuman as best she can.
Fuat: Asuman and I are getting divorced. Grandfather!
Asuman: I was always the problem, right, Fuat? It was always me.
She backs away and shakes her head, her right hand in a fist.
Ferit asks her not to do this now.
Asuman shakes off Seyran. She says she is going to pack her things and leave.
Seyran grabs her and says not to do anything rash!
They tug at one another.
As Seyran takes her upstairs, Fuat calls out for her: Asuman!
Orhan comes running down the stairs, asking what’s up.
Seyran tells him they are going to her room, as Gulgun also appears.
Fuat calls out for his father, and Orhan and Ferit take him inside. They go into a room.
Orhan: What’s going on, son?
Fuat: It’s over, Dad. There’s no fixing it. We’re getting divorced.
Orhan: Calm down, son. If there’s no fixing it, just do it, OK? Are you OK?
Fuat: No. I love Asuman so much.
Up in the attic, Gulgun, Seyran, and Suna comfort Asuman. Asuman tells them she wants to leave the yali right now.
Gulgun: What? This is your house. It’s our house.
Asuman: I don’t belong here, Gulgun. I’m a burden in your lives. Look at Fuat. He couldn’t wait to tell his grandfather that we’re getting divorced. Now he can give him grandchildren. Because I couldn’t.
Seyran: Asuman, downstairs, I saw someone suffering, no celebrating.
Gulgun: You are husband and wife. You’re going to fight, but you need to calm down. My son and you aren’t enemies. Why do you want to leave the house and get divorced?
Seyran: Talk after you’ve calmed down, OK? Grandpa’s been stressed out lately, too, after everything that happened.
Gulgun: She’s right. Orhan and Fuat are more stressed out than we thought, now that my father’s back at work. Perhaps that’s why Fuat’s behaving so impulsively.
Asuman: What Fuat said wasn’t impulsive, Gulgun. He said everything he’d been keeping bottled up. We don’t talk. We’ve never been able to. We only pretend that everything’s fine, but the more we do it, the worse everything becomes. I think he’s right. The best thing to do is get divorced.
The other three are very impactada, trying to find a way to calm Asuman down.
In the room downstairs, Fuat is finally sleeping and Ferit and Orhan are covering him.
Ferit: Oh, brother. Why’d he drink so much? Did something happen that I don’t know?
Orhan starts to speak, but we have to wait until Episode 68 to find out what he says!

I wondered if the concierge and his real state buddy might be scamming Kazım. He is pretty savvy, so maybe he will catch on eventually?
It is surprising that they didn't try Suna for that job!
Hope you heal soon!

Good to hear from you, novelera! Thanks for commenting, but please take care. Do I remember correctly that you had this type of surgery before?
I wondered the same about Kazim being scammed and Efe not setting his sights on Suna.
Although he had no idea Seyran would turn down the project, Ferit set up something with the woman from the children’s educational charity. Meeting that woman and hearing her story is what helped Seyran come to a final decision on Efe’s project.
Thank you, Babachita! Wonderful recap as always.
The worldwide fanbase went crazy over the cabin scene. It was the end of Turkish ep 22, right when Seyfer got busy in bed. Fans were on cloud 9 all week thinking Seyfer had finally consummated their marriage. Then Seyran got hungry in the first scene of the next episode. Both the Turks and Telemundo edited it for broadcast, but the production company was smart and gave us an uncut “internet special” on YouTube. I thought Afra did a tremendous job in this scene. Seyran’s responses to Ferit’s advances were so real, I could feel it. MRD was great as usual, too. Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NsVzQNzLifE
Song in the cabin scene: Duymak Istiyorum/I Want to Hear – Cem Adrian

It’s interesting that they used different songs in the episode and the internet special. Internet special gave us Umutsuz Aşk/Hopeless Love, which we’ve heard before with and without lyrics.
Pelin had Ferit’s things in that box. She had started to unpack them in an previous edit but it looks like she put them back in the box.
Slight edit leading up to the cabin scene. Montage showed Seyran on her way to the cabin, Kazim and Esme having a romantic dinner, and Fuat drinking with friends at a restaurant.
I’ll recap #68. Not sure when I’ll post because of my obsession with the WC.
One more item: They edited out a significant part of Seyfer’s conversation in the cabin. Find it in the link below from 9:30 to 14:25. There are auto translate captions available. Click on cc, click settings, subtitles, auto translate, and choose English from the list. They are not great but good enough to get the idea.
