There is much I'm not following and a few storylines I could do without. I have to say though that there are always one or two scenes that have me smiling away and are enough to keep me watching.

Tonight, it was Pilar bringing in a tray and announcing "sandwiches" to a dismayed Josefina (looking as though her mother had brought in something unseemly and unpalatable) and unimpressed Vincente. (Erika is doing a great job with her uptight and rather thankless role). Segundo as "Columbo" and "Sherlock Holmes" also had me laughing.

Is Miguel crushing on Pilar?? 😊

Angela's mother does not deserve that sweet Pomeranian. The actress doesn't appear comfortable holding the dog gently or with any affection (which goes along with her character unfortunately).

Can someone please tell me what Vincente gave Lucero and Mariano?

As soon as Lucero told Mariano she loved him and that montage of their affection aired, my heart sank. Watching her bend over in pain, it seems with good reason, unfortunately.

At least Dr. Virginia has some interest in poor Elisa; Diana is completely disengaged...

What IS up with that moon-eyed stare? Does she remind him of his long-lost grandma or what?

I don’t have reliable internet where I am, so I won’t be able to catch up until Monday. I appreciate all the tantalizing commentary. And I appreciate the fact that in this telenovela, they go for their fists instead of their guns. But when is Elisa going to punch somebody? She’s had enough practice.

To me the big mystery is still why Max burned all of Angela’s grandfather’s notebooks. (We know it was him because of that distinctive orange watchband.) If the secret of the wine was in there, wouldn’t he have wanted it for himself?

I’m thinking if the kid didn’t have a mother since he grew up on the street, maybe he’s confused, calling her “my lady,” etc. because he’s emotionally reacting to Pilar’s kindness. Maybe he needs the psychiatrist!

The sandwich meal was funny. I can’t believe Chata and Vicente preferred not to eat!!! The detective makes me laugh! The show always makes me laugh at least once an episode.

But, please don’t have Lucero die. She spends a lot of time with plants. Could it be tied to the mysterious deaths of Don Juan’s wives?

Loved the Don Juan Tenorio/Velorio joke!

I hope Angela will relax and be the way that Eva Cedeño usually is!

Diana, yes, I also loved Segundo and his aliases Columbo and Sherlock Holmes and him having to do the cellphone shuffle. His scenes were the highlight for me tonight.

So, Goth Girl doesn''t know the name of the boy who impregnated her. She only knows him by his nickname "Mosca" "Fly." He was too busy paying video games when she called him to talk. Guess I am not surprised.

Whoa! Yes, it seems like Miguel aka "Larva" is attracted to older women. He is always staring at Granny Pilar and wanting to follow her around like a puppy dog. After she left one scene, he muttered to himself "Qué hembra!" as in "What a babe!"

Vicente gave Mariano and Lucero shares in his company as a wedding gift so that Mariano is now his partner.

Lucero suddenly was feeling faint because her heart was acting up and was racing. Not good.

Babachita, I have never seen Eva Cedeño before so I am looking forward to a change in her character.

Yes, some young guys are attracted to older women . You see it in high schools, but Pilar could be his abuela and that is what he really needs/wants .

Maybe Goth girl will seduce Tomas and tell him.that he is the daddy. Yes, that is a good idea..do it. Autocorrect changed " seduce" to "reduce" which also works.

Uh oh , looks like the writers may he setting up sweet, trusting Lucero for an illness. Onward we go. Susan

Vincente gifting Mariano and Lucero shares in his company was so nice; Mariano seemed particularly thrilled. Vincente seems like such a good man despite his lack of enthusiasm for sammies. :)

Ahhh, so Lucero's heart was racing..."Not good" indeed I say frowning.

I now have a theory about Amparo. It was the way she caught on to “Colombo” following her and she took him by surprise. I wonder if she could be undercover police investigating the deaths of Juan’s three wives. Segundo did mention to Juan that she had asked him about his wives all dying of the same thing. And that seems strange to me too. Could Lucero be a serial wife killer, That idea came from Babachita and her mention of Lucero and the plants. But it’s the only way I can let Mariano end up with Angela instead of her!

I’m enjoying Max most of all. I’ve never seen him play a funny guy before. Although I enjoyed Moncho with the two wannabe fighters too.

Liz, your theory about Amparo being undercover makes perfect sense.

"Could Lucero be a serial wife killer, That idea came from Babachita and her mention of Lucero and the plants" would be a wild twist! Whatever happens, it is starting to appear that fate has someone other than Lucero in mind for Mariano. :(

Wouldn't Lucero be too young to have poisoned Juan's wives, except perhaps the last one. Are his children each from one of his former wives? Bernabe is the youngest, right, and I would put him as being older than Lucero.

Being undercover to determine if foul play was involved does sound feasible.
