Golden Boy – Yali Capkini – Poder y traicion
Episode 94 #1 of 9
“Revenge can be dangerous”

We get to see Pelin enter the yali as if she owns the place. Best part of this is Ifakat challenging her because she has come without an invitation. Gulgun also challenges her. Pelin tells them confidently that Ferit told her to go there and wait with his Aunt Ifakat. She tells Gulgun she doesn’t know why and that Gulgun can ask him to find out. Gulgun asks why her and what is she trying to do. Ifakat now joins in telling Gulgun if Ferit had wanted her to know, he would have told Pelin to wait with her instead of Ifakat. She takes Pelin upstairs. Gulgun makes an incredulous face.

Kazim and Tarik are enjoying coffee on a café patio. The G-Wagon drives up and Kazim announces that he has arrived. Both Ferit and Abidin get out and walk their way. Ferit sighs heavily. Ferit pulls up a chair and joins them, while Abidin remains standing. The patio has lots of people. Kazim looks a little off, perhaps wondering what will happen next.
Ferit: Very well, Mr. Kazim. Here I am. Tell me.
Kazim: You’re a shameless man, Ferit! How could you meet with my daughter? What are you looking for here? Who advised you? Who are you? You don’t fear doing something like that behind my back. I’m listening.
Ferit: Know that I don’t fear anyone, and I always trust myself. I’m not like you. I make my decisions carefully and I don’t hide in others’ shadows, OK? I see you have a new son-in-law to accompany you. You’re made for each other. But so you don’t get confused, I’ll explain. Seyran may be your daughter, sir, but she’s still married. She’s my wife, and I don’t need your permission to talk to her or see her when I want. Was I clear with you? (Ferit emphasizes his points with his forefinger pointing or tapping on the table.)
Kazim: Of course you need my permission, Ferit. You should ask me. Where is she? Where is your wife? She’s back with her father. Her father, Ferit. It’s weird. A subject like you who could have any woman he wants, how and when he wants her, but when it comes to your supposed wife, Ferit, you seem to be forced to be with her. What’s going on?
Ferit: I’m not forced to talk to her. What are you talking about? You have no idea what you’re talking about. I went to speak with her yesterday, yes. We both agreed to talk for a few minutes, and that was all, you see? So, who’s lying to you? This idiot or what?
Tarik makes a shushing sound while Abidin looks concerned.
Kazim: Ferit, Ferit, we know perfectly well what’s right and wrong. I never want to see you close to my daughter again, you heard me? Because Ferit, she doesn’t love you anymore. To the contrary, you are a giant headache for my daughter.
Ferit grins: And the headache isn’t about him? Or maybe his brother? Maybe she can tell being next to these two was a mistake. Tell me. Enough with the nonsense.
Kazim looks at him fiercely, his tesbih getting a workout.
Ferit hits the table: Let’s talk seriously. Why don’t you tell me how much you sold your daughters for?
Kazim makes an angry face.
Tarik: You shouldn’t talk so much.
Ferit pats Tarik’s hand: He finally talks. About time. Why don’t you tell us who the hell you are?
Terik: Do you want me to show you who I am? I can give you a taste, OK?
Ferit laughs heartily: And he says, “OK”, too.
Abidin leans over to speak to Ferit: This isn’t the place. There are kids and families here.

Episode 94 #2 of 9
Ferit: I know. (His hands are on his brows, often a prelude to a fight.)
Abidin: Calm down, OK. Calm yourself.
Ferit is stroking his face. He squints at Kazim. Then he points at Tarik: Be patient, OK? I ask you, I want you to see reason. Be patient.
Tarik: But don’t take too long. Hurry up. And talk to Mr. Kazim respectfully. Act like a man.
Ferit jumps up, but Abidin keeps him from hitting out.
Ferit: What did you say? None of you has the slightest idea what it is to be a man, but I have no problem showing you! Look, moron, listen to me. (Ferit grabs the tablecloth and tugs it a bit.). Don’t come near me ever again. Never! Or I swear I’ll kill you. Is that clear?
Abidin: Ferit, let’s go. They’re made for each other. There’s nothing we can do.
They turn to leave.
Kazim: What did you say? Driver? Didn’t I already take care of you? Alright, listen to me, you pest. I swear I’ll finish you both, I swear!
Ferit: With what? You know, I believe you. After selling your own daughters for money, sir, I see you’re very capable. But this meeting was in vain. You wasted your time. I don’t care about your daughter, and even less about you. So, tell her Ferit is remarrying. Tell her I proposed to my girlfriend. (Abidin is shocked, and the other two also seem surprised.) OK? And please tell her we’ll only see each other in the courtroom and don’t even dream about being with me again. And she better not cause any problems before the divorce.
Kazim nods: Very well, very well. (Tarik sits down.) Ferit, I think we made a big mistake picking you.
Abidin: Ferit, let’s go. Walk.
Ferit still has his hand on the tablecloth, but finally lets go and leaves without yanking it.
Kazim: This table is a disaster! Now tell your grandfather. When they get divorced, you’ll marry Seyran. Let’s do it quickly. (He calls a waiter). Hey you, come and fix the table. Quickly!
Tarik looks impactado.

In the G-Wagon, Abidin asks Ferit if he’s OK.
Ferit: Yes, Abidin. I’m very well! I’ve never felt better!
Ferit emphasizes this hitting the dash of the auto.
Abidin: Calm down, OK? He just said that to make you mad. Don’t you see?
Ferit: I told him about the divorce and he got mad. Because he can’t bargain anymore. That’s it. What I should have done.
Abidin: Were you really serious when you said that?
Ferit: Of course, Abidin. She doesn’t want to be with me anymore? I’ll move on with my life!
Abidin: Where did this idea come from?
Ferit, yelling: It came from me! It came from me!!!
Abidin: But you’re talking about marriage! Are you telling me you love Pelin? Ferit, don’t do something I’m sure you’ll regret later.
Ferit wiggles around and then laughs: No, buddy. I don’t care about love anymore. Love no longer exists for me, because they brought me to this state.
Abidin: That’s your problem. You’re too stubborn.
Ferit: Well, I am stubborn. I don’t care about anything anymore. She loses by being stubborn. In exchange, I’ll end up winning, Abidin. We’ll see what happens. We’ll see who gets the last laugh. I told her not to do it. Not to compete with me. But she didn’t listen to me. I won’t let her forget what she did to me the other day. She’ll see. Who the hell does she want to trick? She acts like this doesn’t hurt her, but she’ll learn her lesson.
Abidin’s eyes seem to roll as he listens to Ferit’s rant.
Ferit: She acts as if she doesn’t love me. She has no idea what she’s doing. I’ll make sure she suffers like I’m suffering now. I’ll make her feel what I feel. Soon, you’ll see. There’ll be news. One photo after another. One video after another. You’ll see. I’ll make her so jealous, I swear, Abidin, she’ll go crazy!

Episode 94 #3 of 9
He hits the dash again: I’ll make her crazy with jealousy! I’ll make her lose her mind! I can see it now.
Abidin: Calm down, Ferit. Don’t go crazy, OK?
Ferit: It’s over, Abidin, but I’ll do everything I said I would.

At the yali, Ifakat and Pelin are drinking coffee. Ifakat tells her she’s had coffee and now she needs to tell her why she came to the yali.
Pelin: I came because Ferit told me to come and wait for him.
Ifakat tells her she understands, but then asks why Pelin looks so comfortable. Pelin tells her Ferit told her to wait with her, and that’s what she’s doing.
Ifakat: I see you don’t know what kind of relationship you’re supposed to have with me.
Pelin: Well, it’s not like that.
Ifakat: How is it?
Ifakat stares at Pelin until she finally blurts out that Ferit asked her to marry him. Ifakat is surprised, and Pelin says she is, too.
Pelin: I still can hardly believe what happened. I’d tell you if I knew, but it’s like I’m in a dream and haven’t come down from the clouds yet.
Pelin is giddy and silly, not a flattering look IMHO.
Ifakat: I do know. You shouldn’t be so happy. Ferit didn’t ask you to marry him because he loves you, Pelin. He only did it out of hatred. Pray that he stays upset with Seyran until you get married.
Pelin’s mood is now broken, and she looks as impactada as Pelin can look.

At the Sanli home, Hattice hears the doorbell. Esme hurries toward the door, and there are impatient knocks as well. Hattice asks what is going on. She opens the door to find, Oh Joy, Kazim!
Kazim, impatiently : That’s it, open up, where were you? Call the girls. They need to come here immediately. He kicks off his shoes, yanks off his jacket as he enters the living room.
Hattice: Did you already meet with him? Do you feel better now?
Kazim: What are you talking about?
He walks over to Hattice pointing his finger threateningly: You know when I’ll feel better? When the Korhan mansion is destroyed and in pieces, but your stupid niece’s head doesn’t work. She wasn’t capable of waiting!
Hattice: Ahh. Since you couldn’t destroy their mansion, you’ll destroy this house. Very well, that’s enough. I see you’ll never leave Seyran in peace. How terrible.
Seyran walks in as Kazim calls out for her. She is followed by Esme and Suna.
Kazim: Come, my darling, come. Did you hear what she said? She said that Ferit will never leave you in peace! Oh, my little idiot!
Hattice watches in fear.
Kazim strides around the living room.
Kazim: Very well, I’ll give you the good news. Listen closely. Your beloved Ferit is getting married. He’s marrying his ex-girlfriend. He proposed to her, how about that? Oh, my little idiot! (The other three woman also look very concerned at hearing this.). How about that? What happy news! What joy it gives me! We’ll all celebrate.
Seyran looks impactada: What did you say? Is it true, Dad?
Hattice shakes her head and says: Of course not. Why would he do it? Why would he marry that girl? It’s very strange. Something doesn’t add up. It can’t be true. [Hattice has good instincts.]
Kazim: Darling, what do you think? Will you wish him well at his wedding?
Seyran stares at Kazim.

Episode 94 #4 of 9
Seyran: No, Dad, it can’t be true.
Kazim: Of course, of course. So, what he said was just to upset me, right?
Seyran: Did he tell you that, Dad?
Kazim: Who else would have told me? Who do you think I went to see? [Good question.] Seyran, Seyran! Did you think he’d be sad for you? What he said was, “I don’t care about you or your daughter anymore.” Just a little. If you only thought just a little, but no, idiot! If you’d only used your brain a little, you’d be the most important person in this house. You destroyed yourself, little girl, and after all my efforts! Why are you crying? Don’t cry! I told you 50 times not to cry, not shed a single tear, understand it once and for all! I’m going to tear your eyes out! I’ll tear them out and leave you blind! You didn’t appreciate them before, at least preserve them to see everything you’ve done now! And from now on, take care of Tarik! Speak correctly and be very grateful, because they didn’t care if you were divorced. For some strange reason, they think you’re worth it.
Seyran: Dad, I don’t want to marry him.
Kazim whirls around and stares at her.
Seyran: Even if you break all my bones or kill me.
Kazim: I’m not asking you. It’s not a request. You said the same thing in Antep, remember? It was the same! You said you wouldn’t marry! Tell me, do I have to break your legs?
Suna is frightened at hearing this threat.
Kazim: Do I have to hit you, is that it? It’s over. You’ll get married, Seyran! You’ll marry the man I want and be his wife! And you’ll be the best wife to the best husband! And I don’t want you to shed a single tear, OK?
Hattice is now very concerned.
Kazim: You’ll be Tarik Ihsanli’s wife just like you were Ferit’s!
Seyran swallows: I won’t do it, Father. I didn’t come here to get married again. No one can force me to do it, and no one will!
Seyran walks away.
Kazim is stunned.
Seyran walks around the corner and sinks to the floor in an alcove. Suna joins her. She comforts her and holds her, telling her to calm down. She leads her away and compliments her, telling her she did it well!
Kazim is still stunned in the living room. Hattice walks to him and asks what he is doing. She pokes Kazim’s arm. He shushes her and tells her to make him coffee.
Kazim: Did you hear what she said?
Hattice: But what’s so strange about it? She’ll rebel and you’ll hit her later, and she’ll see reason, right?
Kazim: No, don’t you see? She was mad, so much so she said that I couldn’t force her to do something.
Hattice: And?
Kazim: Wasn’t Ferit going to give his grandfather a grandson? Why haven’t they had kids yet?
Hattice: I don’t know. Maybe they couldn’t have kids.
Kazim: No, no. If they wanted to, they could have gone to a doctor or something and fixed it. Is she telling the truth? Maybe she didn’t let him get close.
Hattice: What are you saying? Are you trying to find a flaw in your own daughter?
Kazim: No, it’s not a flaw. That would have been a flaw if they were still together, but now, it’s not a flaw. This is very good, really. Good for us. Look at me. I never noticed this, OK? Talk to her. Find out the truth. Talk woman-to-woman and tell me later. I don’t think they did it.
Hattice makes an even more incredulous face than usual.
Kazim: This is the best news I’ve heard all day. Now I feel much better.

Episode 94 #5 of 9

The G-Wagon returns to the yali. Ferit gets out, listening to his phone. Abidin tells him they should go. Ferit doesn’t answer him.
Abidin: Ferit, are you sure about this? Don’t do it.
Ferit: Pelin, where are you?
Abidin calls after him: You’re not like this!
Ferit tells Pelin to wait for him downstairs. He is on his way inside.
Upstairs, in the living room, Gulgun tells Orhan he should at least talk to Ifakat and find out why Pelin came. He tells her he doesn’t want to discuss this. Asuman is also sitting in the room. Orhan is looking out the window and probably sees Ferit’s arrival. Orhan tells Gulgun that perhaps Pelin is used to being treated specially.
In walks Ferit: Ohh! If it isn’t my beloved family! How is everyone?
He sits down next to Gulgun and asks her: What were you talking about? I didn’t get to hear.
Orhan: Are you mocking us, son? What is Pelin doing here?
Ferit: That’s why I’m here. Don’t worry. You’ll know soon. Patience.
Ifakat brings Pelin into the living room.
Ferit: Ah, here they are.
He takes Pelin by the hand: I needed you all to hear this news together. (Gulgun looks away from the couple.) Mom, Dad, as of today, Pelin and I are engaged, and we’ll get married. That’s it. There’ll be a wedding, but we’ll have to wait a bit.
Ifakat looks supremely pleased.
Feirt: I should get divorce first. (He looks at Pelin.) Isn’t that right? You’ll wait until I get divorced, right? Answer. You’ll wait for me, right?
Pelin looks away.
Ferit: I’m asking you a question, lovey. Go on, answer me.
Pelin: I’ll wait.
Ferit smiles a somewhat sarcastic smile: That’s what I like to hear. Of course you’ll wait, very good.
Orhan: Ferit, this isn’t your place to joke. Honey, go home now.
Gulgun: I feel terrible. I can’t handle this nonsense anymore.
Ferit: What nonsense? I don’t understand why you’re surprised. Weren’t you expecting me to do this?
Ifakat is listening, perhaps a little less happy.
Ferit: You know you can’t tell me not to do something, and that you can expect whatever from me.
Gulgun: The both of you are behaving very stupidly. This will never happen. I won’t allow it.
Ferit removes his arm from around Pelin.
Ferit: I didn’t ask permission, did I? I came to let you know, that’s all. Understood?
Orhan: That’s enough. You’ll talk to your mother with respect.
Ifakat jumps up: Orhan, calm down.
Gulgun stands and looks at Orhan.
Ferit: And if I don’t, Father? What would you do? Hit me? Kick us out of here? Go on, what do you want? You know you can’t even make your son leave this mansion. None of you will get involved in my decisions ever again. I’ll marry whomever I want! OK? I’m going to get married.
Ifakat is smirking now.
Ferit: End of discussion. No more! I’m getting out of here.
Pelin is watching Ferit closely. He grabs her by the hand and takes her with him.
Ifakat is still trying not to smirk, and Gulgun stares at her directly.

Up in the attic, Ferit and Pelin walk in, no longer holding hands.
Pelin: Ferit, what are you trying to do with this?
Ferit: What am I trying? What’s up, Pelin. You should be grateful. Tell me, aren’t you happy to be starting your life in this house? You won’t have to come through the terrace like a fugitive anymore. You can come in through the door. What could be better than that? Don’t you like the idea? Come, I’ll show you the closet. You can hang all your clothes here however you want. Seriously. And you know the rest of the house. Have fun. Pass the time.
Pelin: Ferit, wait. (She touches his face and he pulls away.) You’re mad at your father. I can tell.
Ferit: No.
He sits down and smirks a bit: No, you’re wrong. I’m not made at anyone. This is my normal state, and all of you made me like this, so don’t touch the subject again. Don’t ask me questions. Act as if I don’t exist. Don’t even talk to me, understood. Don’t bother me again. All I want is to be free. Be freer than ever. Now handle your business. Do whatever you want.
Gulgun walks in.
Gulgun: Pelin, leave right now. Get out. Ferit, it’s time we talked seriously.
Ferit laughs heartily: You’re so adorable, Mother. Now you want to talk. How tender you are. Have you seen the lovely expression on your face? Unfortunately, you’re late.
Gulgun: I always told you, son. I warned you. I did, after everything…
Ferit, yelling: Stop lying! Accept that all you’ve done is talk nonsense around the house without being responsible. They brought my wife and locked her up here. And what did you do? Tell me, what did you do? You stayed in a corner and didn’t say anything. But you have a second chance. Pelin’s here now. If you’re going to be loving and betray her later, tell her so she doesn’t suffer.
Gulgun: What are you doing? You’re getting married again, but to her? Didn’t you break up? Allah Allah, look at you. Look, if this happens, Seyran will get mad.
Ferit: Understand that I don’t care about Seyran! Go on, tell her. Please tell her. Focus on your mistakes, Mother. You talk about Seyran and she’s there at your side. You talk about my ex-wife and it didn’t work out. I’m telling you with love. Don’t make the same mistake. Please. Now leave us alone. Go.
Gulgun: I’m ashamed of you.
Ferit, as she leaves: Yes, Mom. You’re right. What a shame.
Gulgun leaves.
Ferit sits back in his chair. He covers a smile.
Pelin: Ferit, are you OK?
Ferit: You dare ask me? I told you not to bother me, Pelin! Leave me in peace.
He looks like he’s brushing away tears of frustration.
Ferit: Did you give your family the good news?
Pelin: You told me not to tell anyone, so I didn’t.
Ferit: Tell them. They should know. I don’t want my parents to tell them, OK?
Pelin: Fine, I’ll call them.
Ferit takes her by the arm: You should tell them in person. Get up.
Pelin: My mother will be very happy. She always thought we’d be together. What if we went to an ice cream shop around there? We’ll get an ice cream and celebrate together.
Ferit: I’m not going with you. Celebrate with your mother. Have fun with her. Time to go! A driver can take you home. Go.
He shuts the door behind her. His mood is not as manic now. He paces a bit and looks at the clothes closet with all the empty hangers.
He dials a number. It’s Gulsah.

He hangs up.
He sits in his chair and rubs his face. He looks on the verge of crying.

At the Ihsanli home, Saffet Junior watches his mother knitting booties. He’s all excited at the thought of having children. Tarik is pacing around, looking out the window. He walks into the room where Saffet Aga is also sitting.
Tarik: Grandfather, I’m very upset with that guy. I didn’t do anything because Mr. Kazim was there, but I almost killed him. From now on, this issue is personal.
Saffet Aga: Enough! Instead of talking about what you didn’t do, silence yourself with honor. I ask you to be patient, and you get involved in strangers’ problems.
Tari: Strangers? They’re not…
Saffet Junior tries to restrain him.
Tarik: Let go, Saffet! You’ve spoken with the girl’s father.
Saffet Aga: I spoke about her future. (With emphasis): She is still married! It’s not your place to follow her!
Tarik: What should I have done? Hide what I saw?
Saffet Junior reaches toward Tarik, who tells him: Please, Saffet! (To his grandfather): Do you want me to hide it? Hide it from Mr. Kazim? Should I have not told him?
Saffet Aga: You’ll allow everyone to handle their own affairs! We did what we had to do. No more, no less. Don’t do something stupid again, you hear me? Not until that girl’s divorced! Now go. I don’t want to see your face!
Tarik hits Junior lightly over the head: Don’t interrupt me again.
Tarik leaves.
Junior: Grandfather, I don’t think you should have upset him. You know what will happen after.
Saffet Aga: I know, son. Listen, someone’s downstairs. He’s with us. We can’t sell him or let him go.
Junior nods and then sees the baby bootie his mother has finished knitting and runs to see it happily. His mother gives it to him and winks at him. He is ecstatic.

It’s evening, and Zerrin is sitting in her living room looking at her phone. Pelin enters, carrying something in a bag. Zerrin asks where she has been and why she didn’t answer her phone.
Pelin: I was at the yali.
Zerrin asks what for, and Pelin runs and hugs her mother.
Pelin: You daughter’s marrying Ferit!
Zerrin: What? How did this happen?
Pelin: I don’t know, but I said yes! We told his parents and Ms. Ifakat, too.
Zerrin looks more surprised than happy at this news. Her eyes dart back and forth.
Zerrin: But are you sure what he said?
Pelin: Of course.
Zerrin: And Mr. Halis?
Pelin: He wasn’t there, I didn’t see him. They’ll tell him later, I suppose.
Pelin hugs her mother: Mom! Thank you so much.
Zerrin is still thinking of what might really be happening. She looks at Pelin with a serious expression.
Pelin: What happened? Why aren’t you happy?
Zerrin: Darling, of course I’m happy for you. I told you this would happen from the first moment, right? It’s just that it happened sooner than I expected.
Pelin: I’ll tell you what we’re going to do. We’ll buy ice cream, I’ll wash my hands, and we’ll celebrate together, OK?

Zerrin: Ifakat, what’s going on? Is what Pelin said true?
Ifakat: Of course it is. We made him so upset that he did it. Now, we have to keep it up.
Zerrin: That’s fine, but my idiot daughter believed everything. And I’m scared he’ll reject her later.
Ifakat: I can’t assure it. We haven’t told Mr. Halis. She’s taken a big step. Your daughter should continue the plan.
Zerrin: What are we going to do?
Ifakat: I’ll think about it and let you know.
Zerrin: Fine, I’ll wait for you.

We see Ferit walking in a garden where Gulsah is waiting. She hugs him. They are outside a building with lots of music. He tells her he needs to relax that evening. He tells her he doesn’t want to talk about any problems. Gulsah agrees, if that’s what he wants.
They go inside. She tells him another friend, Alcin, is there. He puts his jacket on a table. Everyone cheerfully greets “the Korhan.”

Seyran is washing dishes. She looks very sad. Suna is wiping down the counter. Seyran drops a coffee cup, which breaks. Suna tells her not to step on it. Seyran looks at the pieces and has a flashback to when Suna dropped the dishes in front of the Korhans at their engagement. Suna was unable to function, and Seyran ran to help her. Suna ran from the room. Seyran finished picking up the pieces.
Back in the present, Suna tells her it’s nothing and not to worry. The girls pick up the pieces together.
Seyran turns to Suna and asks: What if Ferit did ask her to marry him?
Suna: I don’t know what to say, Seyran. I really don’t think he did something like that. But if you’re going to be upset about it, why did you sign the papers?
Seyran’s face shows anguish: Why doesn’t anyone understand? No one understands me, not even you, sister. They dragged me out of this house. You saw it yourself. They locked me in the room. I had panic attacks, and no one did anything. Not even Ferit. No one apologized. It was easy for him to tell me to abandon this house. Why didn’t he open the door? Why didn’t he take my hand? Why didn’t he help me leave that mansion? I’m guilty just because I couldn’t handle the hell that is that house!
Suna: No, sister, no. It’s not like that. The relationship takes a lot out of you two. Why don’t you talk about your real feelings? I can see you both love each other. If you had told him like you told me, the story would be different. None of this would be happening.
Seyran: Sadly, I’m not too sure of that. He asked Pelin to marry him. That’s love.
Suna, reaching out to her sister: Come on, Seyran. Why do you think that? How could it be possible? (Suna now has a phone in hand.) We’ll see. (Suna starts texting.)
Seyran: Are you texting Abidin? What are you saying?
Suna: No, I’m sending a text to Asuman.
Seyran: Sister, why do you do without asking? Didn’t we just talk about this? Please!
Suna: Listen, sister, I’m doing this for you. You’re suffering and I’m curious. That’s why I texted her. We’ll know the truth. Later, we’ll talk about everything else.
There’s response. Suna looks at the phone. Seyran asks what she texted.
Suna: Seyran, it’s all true.
Seyran is very impactada, with music to match. She turns and says she told Suna not to text her: What the hell were you thinking when you did it?
Seyran paces back and forth, furious. She goes on the patio and looks out at the lights of Istanbul at night.

Ferit stumbles out of the nightclub, wiping his eyes as he looks for the G-Wagon. He finds Abidin listening to music, sort of singing along. He hits Abidin’s arm to get his attention. Abidin is surprised!
Ferit: What are you doing here? Do you think you’re my father (probably this is reference to the kind of music he is listening to)? I can’t believe it. What are you listening to, Abidin? This is bad for you. Lighten up already. Don’t hurt yourself anymore. Turn that thing off.
Ferit is looking at his phone.
Ferit: Come on, buddy, turn it off. Stop suffering. We have to be more positive.
Ferit gets in the back. Abidin asks him what he’s doing, if he’s going to sleep there.
Ferit: No, tonight we have company. Just treat her well.
Ferit has trouble seeing, but finally one girl comes and gets in the back with Ferit. [I don’t recognize the girl. It doesn’t look like Gulsah to me.]
Abidin asks where they should take them. Ferit tells him to take them home.
Abidin: What did you say, Ferit? We’re going home in these conditions?
Ferit: Just turn around, Abidin. You dare disobey me? You have to do everything I ask for, especially today, because I’m getting married. I can do what I want, OK?
Abidin agrees. Ferit asks the girl if it bothers her, and she says she doesn’t care.
Ferit tells her she is cute and charming. He tells her she is incredible. I’m telling that I’m getting married, and you don’t care. What a good girl!
Girl: What are you saying? Aren’t you already married?
Ferit laughs his deep laugh.
Ferit: You’re so funny. It’s complicated. I’ll explain it later. Actually, let’s not talk about it now. It doesn’t matter, OK?
She smiles and nods, but the smile fails quickly. Abidin is watching in the mirrors. Ferit tells him to get on with it.
Ferit: Why don’t you put on that song you were listening to? Turn up the volume. That’s it.
Ferit starts singing along.
Abidin pulls out of the parking place.

Monday 5th, Part 1

I am going to blame all the missed details on the fact that it’s appalling hot in my part of the country and my brain is cooked. Even in Mardin, Turkish people have amazing coats and wish I were somewhere now that wearing a coat made sense.

Rehash- Googly eyes are made when CihAl go to bed, and Cihan actually agrees to go to her room. But Deniz is there asleep with Pakize and Kadir (kid in the middle), and they laugh, decide they shouldn’t wake them, and go to Cihan’s room. But they spoon while fully clothed so no moral turpitude here.

Next morning. Still with clothes on. I think Alya even still had her shoes on. In bed. Ew. Cihan kisses her forehead before leaving and doesn’t even stop to brush his teeth. Also ew.

Zerrin and Fidan talk about how to go see the baby because they’re still at the granja. They head out and Kaya is there to drive Zerrin to school. She thanks him when they get there but he’s offended and says this is his obligation. He asks if she was around the day that Fidan ran over Hasan (because Hasan thought he remembered her). She lies and says no, and that Fidan was there because she’s still learning to drive and there aren’t many cars there. No empty industrial parks around here for learning how to drive, apparently. Then she tells him Fidan will pick her up because they have shopping to do, having lost all their clothes in the fire. Kaya’s face says he's not buying it.

Cihan holds a meeting with all his men about the next shipment, how Ecmel, et al, will try to sabotage it. They’re changing shipping methods to deal with this with more shipment checks. Cihan threatens them a bit if they don’t do this. Also the spy that Ecmel (or Demir?) had came forward and told the good guys what’s up? I didn’t get this. But Cihan tells them he expects them to give their lives not just for the other men but for the shipment of goods, which seems ridiculous. Meanwhile back at Ecmel’s, some bad guy is being berated for faulty hiring practices, I assume related to the uncovered spy. Ecmel and Nadim want to sit down with Boran and Demir to talk strategy. Demir, however, excuses himself because he has better things to do. Nadim tries to give Demir grief about this but Demir isn’t haven’t it. He's never been a part of these meetings before and Nadim is super close to Ecmel now. Demir questions this. Then somehow it’s a scene with Ecmel is berating Nadim. I’m sorry. This episode is moving a little fast and I don’t get what’s happening. I think it’s showing two separate scenes that involved Nadim but I missed what was happening.

I will say that even though Demir is a bad guy, I do like his obvious enjoyment of being an evil little turd to his dad. It’s a nice contrast to his doubts when being a jerk to Zerrin.

Sadakat tells V/Gurgun to prepare the truck and she’ll talk to Hasan when he gets there. He asks if she’s sure and she is, but she’s not happy about it.

Monday 5th, Part 2

Ecmel and Boran drop off a couple of henchmen at the Yonca hospital. Nare sees them and recognizes them as Ecmel’s men. She has a mild fainting spell (!) in the hall and Dr. Yalcin sees and asks if she’s ok. He’s not a very good doctor if he doesn’t immediately get that she’s pregnant (we assume). She says she’s ok, but the henchmen have already gone to a nurse or other doctor and have her at gunpoint. They make her call Alya with some lie about a “patient in trouble”. Alya finally agrees to go (uggghhhhh) and the woman tries to shout a warning when the henchmen take the phone from her- not sure why she waited because they still have guns- but too late. They tie up her mouth and stupid Alya is going to head back even though everyone including the mother-in-law who hated her is trying to help her escape. Fidan even had her home and everything she owns burned to the ground because of Alya and her lame son. Alya is just being rude and dumb.

Cihan calls her and tells her to get back to the hotel and stay there. She’s like “what could I do?” (Answer- make the patient take a phone call). Sorry. I’m annoyed. Maybe I missed something and she has a good reason for this escapade, but probably not.

Kaya leaves the school where he dropped Zerrin to follow Fidan and Zerrin who are driving off. Ipek notices.

Cihan is being followed by guys who shoot at him. They hit the tire and the minor crash knocks him out. Nadim calls Ecmel to tell him Cihan has been dealt with, and Ecmel tells Boran it’s their turn now.

Back to Kaya, who has followed Fidan and Zerrin to wherever the baby is being stashed. The nanny is caring for her and Demir is there too. Demir says she (the baby) is better than ever. He actually looks happy. Not evil-y happy, just happy. But Kaya goes up to the house and demands of the guards to know who lives here. The men try to kick him out and everyone hears the yelling. Demir gets mad, but Fidan goes outside to calm things down and tells the men to let him go and invites him in. Kaya enters and sees Zerrin nursing the baby and is as stunned as you’d expect. But we see Demir behind a door pointing a gun at Kaya. Zerrin hands the baby over to the nanny and lies that she (the nanny) is the mother and couldn’t produce milk for the baby. The indoor henchman pretends to be the baby’s father.

Cihan wakes up from the crash when Alya tries to call him. He hasn’t been looking good, and now he’s really hurting. He answers just as Alya gets to the hospital and warns her that it’s trap. She makes the driver stop and turn around really fast. But Ecmel and Boran are there to follow her.

Fidan tells Kaya that she knew the nanny whose name I missed, and Fidan knew that Zerrin could help. The nanny is almost crying for Zerrin as she thanks her for “helping”. Kaya is crying and asks the baby’s name. “Hazal”, says the nanny. Kaya holds the tiny little hand and tells her she’s beautiful and wishes her and her parents a nice life. There are more lies about why they are at this house, and Zerrin rushes out in tears. Kaya offers to drive them back but Fidan will drive herself. And I’m back to hating Demir.

Monday 5th, Part 3

Alya is still trying to escape and summary- one guy gets shot and other is taken by a whole bunch of henchmen in a truck. Ecmel shows up and they take Alya too. She’s fighting them off and then sees Boran. She yells at him, telling him he disgusts her. She disgusts him too, he says, and I can’t see how these two were ever a happy couple.

Boran demands to know where Deniz is and she says she doesn’t know. This goes on a bit until Ecmel threatens the not-yet-shot driver. She tells him not to dare, as though that would help, and the driver says he doesn’t know where the boy is. Drama for a few seconds and then Ecmel shoots the guy in the head!

Alya cries about him, calls Ecmel a murderer. She tries to fight and he threatens to shoot her if she doesn’t tell him where his nieto is. She says the boy isn’t the grandson of a murderer like him and refuses to tell him anything. Ecmel keeps the gun on her and she finally just squats down with her hands over her ears and won’t say anything,

Cihan gets to the scene and the first yes-shot driver is ok! Relatively to being dead anyway. He tells Cihan where everyone is. Ecmel is still pointing the gun at Alya when Cihan gets in the middle of all this and demands that they drop their guns. Like 6 of them and one Cihan, but he’s not lowering his gun. He says they don’t murder women, but he sees the dead good guy on the ground. He finally drops his gun and Ecmel raises his hand, which I think is the pending order to kill. Ecmel wants to know where the boy is or else. Alya tries begging Boran to get him to stop. Cihan tries to fight and he is, of course, taken down. Alya yells at Boran to help his brother, but Cihan gets knocked out. Then Ecmel holds a gun on Cihan and gives Alya one more chance to tell him where his grandson is. Boran is useless to both sides. Ecmel shoots his gun, Alya makes a shocked face, and we have no idea why. Tune in tomorrow!

K

Lejos - I'm just disgusted with Ecmel and Boran. This unnecessary killing and shooting. All they had to do was stake out Cihan's usual haunts, then follow him to Alya and Deniz. I have been thinking this ever since Alya and Deniz went into hiding.

Secondly, Alya should have gotten a backup doctor, once she got settled and turned this into a work vacation. She knew she had patients due. Heck, there are always backup doctors in obgyn practices (short of the absolute sticks).

The confusing scene with Nadim and Ecmel was a flashback to a convo in which Ecmel told Nadim he knew Nadim had Cihan's father killed, and then Ecmel threatened Nadim. This was to explain why Nadim is helping Ecmel out now. The show did not do a good job of separating the flashback from the current happenings.

Lejos

K, watching this I was torn between admiring the writers for all the plot twists and thinking this is totally ridiculous. But after reading you gleefully romp through it, I thought it was a fun episode if we just glory in how wild and absurd it all was. Hilarious recap!!

And yeah, why didn’t they just trail Cihan?

I was taken aback when Cihan told his group of men that they should give their lives to protect the shipment. Really? Sacrifice your life for some contraband? Would he?

K, I look more forward to your Monday recap than watching the episode. ITA with your “ew”s, lol, “no moral turpitude.” Maggie, the Turks would say “saçma”, ridiculous. But they love this show.

Don’t tell Muzaffer that Pakize and Kadir slept in the same bed.

I wonder if they killed the mole after extracting info. Here’s what Cihan said in Turkish. Whoever turns a blind eye to it (letting something slip through), will have their eyes gouged out. Cihan added, you cannot risk your lives. You must look out for your lives. You must safeguard your lives and protect those assets along with yourselves.

I think we can be sure Ecmel didn’t kill Cihan. I’m wondering if Alya will give them Deniz’s location after this. I say give them the kid.

golden

Thanks, Babachita. I got halfway through the episode. I want to finish and check for edits. Then I'll comeback and comment.

lejos

Thanks, Dondi, for the Turkish translation there. Whoever translated them (or the Spanish dubbing) into English did a terrible job. (I use english subs on Mondays). I'm glad he put protecting themselves first before all the stuff. I was starting to think less of Cihan.

Totally agree about the kid. There was a really terrible show some time ago (Corazon Indomable- don't watch it; it's not even fun-terrible, just bad) where the leads had a baby and when they split, the boy lead was like, "Hey girl lead, why not give me the baby because you can always have more". As though a baby is a Dorito. But in this case, I think it makes sense. Let Boran have Deniz. Alya and Cihan can have other, better Doritos. Or children.

K

lejos

Thanks so much, K! You got a very exciting episode and found plenty of places for your Grade-A snark. No moral turpitude, Ha! Laughed at the double "ews".

Wow! When Kaya and Zerrin were talking at the college, Ipek walked right up to join them, a couple who love each other. Who does that?

Thanks, dondi, for the correct translation of what Cihan said to the guys. Yeah, asking them to die for merch was over the top.

I don't know why they bothered teasing us. I KNEW Alya would go if some patient insisted on her. She took that Hippocratic Oath seriously.

Why doesn't Zerrin just come there when Demir is busy being evil somewhere else and take her baby? BTW, I never stopped hating Demir.

dondi, tsk tsk. "I say give them the kid." The majority here don't care for the actor playing Deniz. OTOH I sort of understand. He lives in a mansion, sometimes two, with no other children in the family and servants who really love him. Of course he's spoiled. Going to school will straighten him out.

Part 1 of 2

Rewind of Ecmel bashing Cihan in the head with a pistol and Alya completely beside herself. Boran looks on, not best pleased at how upset she is at seeing Cihan hurt. Once more…where’s my grandson? We get the fake out shot again, into the ground. When Ecmel raises the pistol again, Alya cracks and says that Deniz is in Izmir and the name of the hotel.

Kaya arrives with two carsful of henchies and finds the wounded guy who points in the right direction. Lots of shots fired. Ecmel sends someone after Deniz.

As usual, Cihan does the right thing and calls Kadir, who is once again purposely losing some kind of game to Deniz. Cihan tells him they know where to find Deniz. Leave the hotel without frightening him. Don’t go toward Midyat; go toward Savur. Alya wastes time speaking with the kid on the phone. She promises him ice cream. Kadir loads up Deniz and Pakize and has a carful of henchies behind. But Ecmel’s guys try to block them. Boran isn’t as dumb as he looks. He wants their guys following Kadir to give their location.

Cihan calls Kadir and advises him to step on it. Alya calls Sehmuz, part of their posse. Cihan orders him to not let those jerks get within a meter of Kadir’s vehicle. Don’t let them pass. Sehmuz decides to slow down and block Ecmel’s baddies. As always happens, dozens of rounds are fired with hardly anyone shot.

Ecmel and Boran are approaching Kadir’s car. He sees them and turns right. But of course he’s pursued. What? Deniz fell asleep during all this. And I’m ready to drop off myself from all these cars going through some pretty boring terrain. Ecmel is kind of enjoying this. He says that Demir and Nadim have arrived and are probably packing.

Cihan and his team find the road blocked. So much shooting. Yawn. Hah! Cihan has Alya get behind the car and tells her not to be afraid. Whaddya know. One guy got shot, by Hasan.

Kadir is cut off. Guys swarm out. Ecmel and Boran approach and see the sleeping Deniz. Ecmel orders Kadir and Pakize out of the car. Boran orders Kadir to give him his gun and both his and Pakize’s phone. Kadir looks daggers and tells Boran that when the boy sees Ecmel, he’ll see the devil. He goes on to say that the last time Deniz saw Ecmel, he ended up in the hospital. You’re his father; don’t hurt him. Boran replies that he’ll be alone with him. He tells Ecmel to leave with his guys. The kid shouldn’t see him.

Boran wakes Deniz. Why are you here? I thought I was going to my mother. Boran tells him that he spoke with Alya and something came up. So I came to get you. You aren’t going to take me again to that bad man, right Papa? Boran says it will only be the two of them. Deniz asks him to promise or else he’ll never speak to him again. Boran promises. Boran drives off. Ecmel orders the henchies to shoot out Kadir’s tires.

Martes

Part 2 of 2

Back to Cihan’s gunfight. Our guys seem to win and they drive after Deniz. Beside the car Pakize sobs and Kadir is slumped with a thousand-yard stare. Cihan and Alya run up. Kadir explains what happened. Alya is hysterical. Sadakat appears, like always. Cihan orders someone to check on the Baybars. Demir gives his usual triumphant smirk. Alya sobs, a lot, about losing Deniz. Cihan tries to reassure her they’ll get him back.

Kaya, Nare, and Sahin are on the road. Kaya calls Cihan, who asks if they got any leads on Deniz’s whereabouts. Alya is pretty much hysterical, but what mother could blame her. She seems to be blaming herself. She faints in the road. Cihan shows he’s been in the gym with the ease with which he lifts her from the ground.

Vurgun, Pakize, and Sada watch Cihan carry Alya inside the mansion. Sada comes with, fussing over Alya, calling her linda. [!!] Alya berates herself for giving up her son. She says that they knew she’d come for a patient in an emergency who asked for her. Cihan asks her not to blame herself. She cries that she’s sure they’d have killed Cihan if she hadn’t done it.

Sada asks Cihan how his woman is doing. He looks surprised. Her reply is that it’s clear they’re companions. Cihan tells her that Ecmel pointed a gun at him, and Alya moved between, so they’d not kill him. Boran was there, and he didn’t lift a finger. Sada looks anguished. So that Ecmel didn’t kill me, Alya told him where Deniz was. You’re a mother. How could any woman be well after giving up her child. As Allah is my witness, I swear I’ll never forgive my brother.

[Kind of looks like the Vurgun taking Boran to Syria thing is now off the table.]

Kaya and Sahin report that the search is continuing for Deniz. Cihan asks if he could be at the Baybars yali, and Kaya replies that neither Ecmel nor Boran have come there. Kaya also says that, according to Kadir, Boran took the boy. But Ecmel wasn’t with them. Maybe Boran didn’t let him approach. Sada wonders if Boran came to his senses.

Pffft! They go with something stupid. Another Alya dream or fantasy. This time, instead of Deniz being missing, he’s escaped Boran and run home. Cihan goes along with this and looks to see if Deniz is in the bathroom, while Nare, Sahin and Sada look on with concern. [At least Sadakat has stopped snarling at Sahin.]

Fidan and Zerrin show up for moral support and, miracle of miracles, Sadakat doesn’t say a word. Fidan opines that Ecmel’s specialty is hiding places. She honestly hopes that burning the yali was worth it. Cihan tells Auntie that, when all this passes, she’ll make new memories and not with anyone she’d prefer not to be with. Sahin says they’re almost ready to move back, once the roof is done. [Huh? Hats off to Turkish construction guys!]

Cihan looks from the patio and sees flames. Sadakat shouts that Ecmel is burning their lands…the Albora lands. Cihan looks murderous. Alya comes down looking dazed.

"SENOR10"
Howdy from the Alamo City CarayCaray Family. Here's my super-short recap of last night's episode.

*Slippery Mauricio grabs Constanza & tries dragging her to the vehicle, but Dalila stops him. However, Alfaro's balding sidekick shoots Constanza, while Dalila manages to shoot Slippery Mauricio.

*Dalila sees that Constanza is badly wounded by the shooting & gets the taxi driver to drive them to the hospital ASAP.

*Castillo finds out about the shooting while at DEA Mexico Headquarters & rushes over to the hospital.

*Rutila, Consuelo & Felina watch all of this chaos over at Los Casillas Headquarters.

*Aurelio & Cowgirl Redhead: Fast Forward. I just do NOT see Cowgirl Redhead sticking around much longer because she's do for a FAFO.

*Leo & Reynaldo meet with Myrna over at Primero Banco HQ. Meanwhile over at the hospital, Castillo & Dalila find out that Constanza's injuries are very serious & her condition isn't looking good. Unless there's a miracle, Constanza is about to head to the Big Sky.

Lejos - Looking ahead at the Wednesday recap: I will not be watching the episode until sometime Thursday. We will be watching the Brewers play the Padres tonight. (Thanks for the Tues. recap Novelera. I had only watched the last 15 minutes to make sure Cihan was still alive.)

OT

Anastasia, I hope the Brewers win. My childhood team, the Cleveland Guardians, formerly Cleveland Indians, are down 2 games. We are used to bitter disappointment. In Northeastern Ohio, we have The Curse of Rocky Colavito, a much-loved player who was traded in 1960. This team has not won the World Series since 1948. I have a classic photo of my brother and I about 20 years ago with all our Indians gear on...sweatshirts, ball caps. We didn't think about the grinning indigenous guy being offensive.

lejos

Thanks for the recap, novelera. I didn't watch the entire show last night, and after reading you recap I'm not sure if I need to.

Did everyone just leave that wounded guy on the ground without help? One very small clarification, Deniz was in Bismil, in Diyarbakır province, not Izmir. Izmir would have been quite a drive from Midyat.

I was watching the GSW game for Yaxel. I think he did well enough but it's preseason and I'm not sure since I don't closely follow the NBA, are the Lakers supposed to be good this year?

There were no significant edits in this episode. But I’m not loving the translations.

Ferit is taking a page out of Seyran’s book of self-destructive spitefulness. I did enjoy his chat with Kazim and Tarik. Ferit and Tarik scenes are entertaining.

Somehow Kazim makes the leap to thinking Seyfer didn’t consummate the marriage. I guess that means Seyran is worth more money for him now.

I hope to have #95 recap up over the weekend, if not sooner.

dondi, I didn't watch the Warriors. I have too much sports viewing on my plate watching the Valkyries, the 49ers, and now the Guardians. I usually skip preseason for all sports, trying to cut down on couch time.

Lejos

Novelera, I’m lost in admiration that you figured all this out. I had no idea how the whole chase was developing. Well I knew who was chasing who but I was bewildered about the sequence of events and who was where.

And how did they find each other? They were out in the middle of nowhere. How did Sadakat know to show up? Why did Nare come along?

Dondi, I’m glad you told us it’s Bismil and not Izmir which is what the captions said the first time it was mentioned. Consequently I had no idea of distances and couldn’t figure out how Boran got there so fast.

I decided to just give up trying to figure it all out and enjoyed seeing some scenery.

Explain yali to me. I googled it and it says water-side mansion in Türkiye.

And the impressive town fire! Sadakat says it’s the Albora lands but before when Cihan was telling Deniz about the Albora lands he made a sweeping gesture over a vast open landscape. Also the smuggling crosses Albora lands, also empty wide-open spaces. Do they also own the town? And has Ecmel just buried a lot of innocent people’s homes?

Maggie

lejos

Los Albora looked devastated about the fires, but Cihan did kinda start the whole arson thing. Still, if other people's homes were involved, then Ecmel took it to another, more evil, level. He should be crushed and I hope Fidan is the one to crush him. And maybe get the good henchmen who haven't already been shot to rescue the baby from Demir.

I thought Vurgun looked pensive, like maybe he's considering spilling about whatever the Bulgarian issue is. They can't get here soon enough.

*Aurelio, Cowgirl Redhead, Ulysses holding meeting with Cuban counterparts over business negotiations, etc.,

*We see Grumpy James having a hissy fit over seeing Elena dancing with Isturiz at his house LOL.

*Long story short: Isturiz shoots Grumpy James dead on the spot during an outdoor dinner when the grumpy idiot tossed over the table & the food.

Series 2, Episode 60
Title: Ojo por Ojo (Eye for an eye)

Short recap today, sorry, due to my schedule today.

Ecmel and co. burned the Albora croplands as revenge, and to keep Cihan's men busy so they don't look for Deniz. The land may not be usable for years.

Cihan and crew raid Nadim's warehouse and shipment. At gunpoint, Nadim is forced to get Boran to put Deniz on a video call his mother Alya.

War is started.

Alya asks how long this (war) will go on? Cihan answers her that it didn't start with Alya. It has always been like this.

Deniz misses his mother and locks himself into the bathroom until she comes. (Confession - I don't mind the young boy. Not the best young actor, not the worst.) Boran tells Deniz that he will bring his mother.

Alya, Vurgun and Hasan are still planning to take Boran to Syria. But they don't know where he is.

Fidan's mansion has been cleaned up and restocked with new furniture. Fidan Nare Zerrin and Sahin go check it out.

Nare has had problems with blurry eyes. She is urged to get seen by a doctor. She doesn't go yet.

Alya goes back to work at the hospital, to keep busy.

Cihan takes Ecmel and Nadim's shipments and redistributes the food to those who lost their crops. He promises the people they won't go hungry.

Boran shows up at the hospital wearing a dark knit cap. He stalks Alya. He gets into the elevator car with her. He tells her that he will take her to see Deniz. She readily agrees, despite the upcoming emergency surgery she is scheduled for. Dr. Yalcin sees Boran get into the elevator with Alya and is puzzled.

Ecmel shows up at Cihan's food distribution, then leaves. Cihan decides they should follow Ecmel (to find Deniz). But Nare calls Cihan, along with Dr. Yalcin. They can't find Alya and Boran. Cihan rushes towards the hospital.

Boran stops at a gas station. He walks Alya to the back seat, ties up Alya's hands and ties a blindfold around her eyes (because that won't look suspicious to anyone who sees her sitting in the back seat). Alya thus won't know how to find Deniz. Across the road from the gas station, Ipek is parked. She sees Boran walk Alya to the back seat of his SUV and tie her up. Ipek looks concerned. - End episode.

Yay Milwaukee Brewers!

Lejos

You captured it all, Anastasia! Thank you so much!

I have questions. We’ve never seen fields before where the fire was, just buildings. Certainly nothing green. Also, if a crop is lush, will it catch fire? I guess drier ones could. And about the farmers who lost their crops - there were hordes of them at the contraband distribution. The burned area looked like the size one, maybe two farmers would cultivate.

The new furniture for Ecmel’s house looked too modern for the style of the house. Fidan seemed pleased. But what about pieces that had been handed down over generations? Not sorry to lose them? Not upset that her children’s baby booties and locks of hair were forever lost? A cleaned-up building and new furniture don’t replace a home.

Zerrin is supposedly nursing a child just once a day? Kid’s gonna starve.

Boran decided to get Alya out of the car, tie her up and bandage her eyes right in front of a gas station and some kind of commercial building? Where there could be people watching (like Ipek!) and there are probably security cameras? We know there are vast open spaces where he could do all that.

And yes, Anastasia, nothing odd at all when you look into a car out on the road and the person in the back seat has their eyes bandaged. Ha!

Maggie

OT
Anastasia: Something tells me that the Dodgers will win their 10th World Series Championship.

OT

Congrats, Anastasia on the Brewers. As a San Francisco Giants fan, we loathe the Dodgers. Hope the Brewers give them a beatdown!

Lejos

Thanks, Anastasia.

I didn’t care for the new furniture at the restored konak either. It looks so out of place.

Cihan did not give away food. It was some kind of merchandise to compensate for the loss of crops. I guess the villagers will have to get produce somewhere else.

Zerrin is feeding the baby once a day but the woman taking care of the baby is a wet nurse and has been doing the regular feedings.

Congrats to the Brewers. It would be nice to have someone new win a WS. Tired of the Dodgers. I am not a fan. Thank goodness the Yankees are out.
