i sure wish and prefer corazon de oro than sabor. unfortunately my spanish is poor and so i rely on caray english interpretations. the family secrets are coming out now, i do want much clearer revelations than what i undertsand. sad! noone is interested here. but thanks anyway.

Twisted Tomás angrily confronts Angela at breakfast demanding to know where she was the night before when he couldn't contact her. Unfortunately, she lies saying she went out for a walk rather than telling him it is none of his business. Anyway, he tells her that his grandfather finally gave him his due with the secret recipe for the wine. She has to remind him that it belongs to her, too, via the author Gonzalo Quevedo who was her grandfather. He is concerned that Mariano doesn't get his hands on it. It turns out that he cannot decipher the notes which are highly scientific on his own and DEMANDS her help. She FINALLY tells him not to talk to her like that. She advises him to first calm down and to ask her properly some other time. Otherwise, he can forget it. She leaves. Twisted Tomás overhears an announcement that Vicente makes to his workers that Mariano is now his partner. He goes crazy, gets his gun and proceeds to hunt Mariano down and confronts him at a a shrine to the Virgin. Twisted Tomás pulls his gun on Mariano. There is a fist fight and Twisted Tomás gets shot accidentally. Mariano takes him to get medical care. Lucero is left high and dry and emotionally destroyed at the church. Vicente and Segundo search for Mariano and find blood on the ground at the shrine as well the gun. They are off to the police station. Twisted Tomás arrives at a hospital here he is taken in for care. (Mariano doesn't think about calling anyone about not appearing at his OWN wedding??)

Jarifa, thanks so much for the recap. I missed some of this episode . I noticed that the writers decided to stall a bit by giving us quite a few moments of bride to be Lucero in her bubble bath ...so I got up to get a snack .

When we saw Mariano and wacky Tomas twisting and turning on the ground , we knew that one of them was going to get shot, and I figured it would be Tomas. I expect we will now get to see Mariano have his turn in jail and Tomas's turn in the hospital...boo and hoo.

The classic car for getting the bride to the church was classy , but everyone is ignoring her as she gets out of the car and falls into a hole. QTH?? Susan
