Barerra replacement

The Muy Pronto yesterday on Barerra gave the title - It is Mundo de Fieras [World of Wild Beasts]. The website says that it is a story that will make your jaw drop. Cesar Evora (of Entre l'amor y el odio) plays identical twins, separated at birth who hate each other.
But I'm not switching again.

Hi Jean: do you know when the new one is starting? I would be willing to give it a try - I feel like with Nora doing Mondays you guys are fine with Heridas and I'm sorta out of a job!

I calculate that there is a month and a half of Barerra left. That would mean the new one starts about the 2nd week in October.

I did some research on Mundo de Fieras. Two of the stars are Cesar Evora and Edith Gonzalez, both of whom I like a lot. Edith Gonzalez is playing a villain in this one, which I think is different for her. Ernesto LaGuadia (Cristobal in Alborada) is also in this. I have absolutely no problem switching, because I refuse to watch a boring one, which Heridas certainly is. I have been watching Mi Destino Eres Tu on Telefutura, an rerun which was much better but is in its last chapters, so I'm ready for something new.

I like Ernesto, so maybe I'll give it a try---I hope I can follow---the plot seems very complicated. Susanlynn

You know, "jaw-dropping" isn't always a good thing. :-)

Dear Melinama,
I hope you will give "Mundo" a try.
Barerra is on the Ultimo semana so
Mundo should be starting probably the 1st week of Sept.
It sounds juicy and full of pain and suffering so I'm looking forward to a good run. Just so they don't just talk , as they do on Heridas.

I'm sick of all talk, too. I'd like to see people actually DOING something. (Amparo making tacos is the only non-talk going on in Heridas). And guys on horseback are an added plus...

and just so you know they are using the same sets as Alborada (the town of Cuencas and the Guevara palace).

Is this a period piece or modern-day?

it is a modern-day drama.
