Caray, Caray!

I forget what happened last night and what happened the night before because I watched the two epis back to back (often happens during busy weeks!).

Alina is now being forced to marry Orlando, since Thelma talked DL into "repairing her honor." Crazy Daddy implies he'll kill her momma if she doesn't.

Emilio is back at la R, knows he has a baby (but somehow, he just isn't that excited about it. Blood isn't calling out to blood, I guess.) Alina has told him she's going to marry Orlando.

Coral is freaking out because the bad girls who killed Edelmira are coming for her.

Santos is home but Castulo's out to kill him so that he won't expose his lies. Too late, Don Max found out through Angel that he's alive and he was predictably impactado. Collateral Damage: The old Doctor Eienstein guy whatever his name is. Castulo shot him in the head while trying to get him to tell him where Santos went.

SA still hasn't gotten in Max's pants.

THE BOX is now back in Luba's hands after she and Gaspar jumped Hugo who was hiding out at Jose Gomez' old place. Hugo may go through with a plot to make it seem as if Luba is trying to blackmail Don Loco with it.

Thelmita is still being mean to the baby and doesn't want anything to do with it. Vera and SA are giving it love and attention. Gaspar still hasn't seen it but he knows that it's been born.

Dr. Love is now in cahoots with Dr. Vasquez for a plan to spring Mariana from Don Loco Prison.

Malena showed up at Hacienda de Loco and got the line from Alfonsina that Dr. Love was a golddigger. She didn't believe it. When she confronted Don Loco, he told her to mind her own business She could stay one night at the Hacienda but that was it. In the morning, Mariana was going to the old folks home. With Malena and Dr. Love in town I imagine something is going to happen soon regarding Mariana's situation. Looks like she'll get her freedom before Soledad and Alina do.
 

The only freedom I want is Mariana's freedom to speak, to settle all this once and for all! Nice memory, Margaret.
 

Hugo thinks Alfonsina stole the cofre from him since she knew he had it, and he doesn't know Luba also knew.

Once again, Emilio and Alina declare their love for each other, but can't be together. Blah,blah,blah.
Once again, Thelma was not happy to know that Emilio loves Alina only.
Once again, Angel coughs.

Boy where would we all be if it hadn't been for Alborada? I think, of the regulars at this site, a large percentage of us got to watching novelas because of that show. Imagine if the first time we tried to watch some Mexican TV, we got this! So between Alborada and Melinama for recapping it, much credit is due.
Each show gets worse. Heridas wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great. I don't remember ever hating it though. This show? Well..... let me just say that I might have to revise my tagline that is under the Caray Caray title on the main page.

I think I gots to say thank you to melinama for recapping Alborada too, not that I ever saw it or got into it, but because of it I got to know this site and all you wonderful people.
 

Well...this telenovela may bite the big one but I really do adore and admire the team. We are really hanging in there so hooray for us. Like Chris said, good memory Margaret, lots of juicy stuff happened. I'm glad Luba got the cofre back. I hope Hugo and Alfonsina go at each others' throats. Divide and conquer I say!
 

Well... I was really looking forward to reading the recap for this one, but the first comment summed up most of the episode. My favorite part was the last scene when Angel told Máximo that some crazy guy named Santos tried to kill him... Máximo' s 5 times impactado face!! "My dearly beloved son Mínimo is still alive!"

Oh and what Mínimo told the poor doctor with the white beard: My name is Santos and my dad sent some guy to kill me." He changed his shirt for no particular reason right there. Not that I mind, though. I didn't like that Castulo killed the doctor, though. The poor guy didn't deserve to die like that but he sacrificed his life for Mínimo.

Thelma just gave birth and two days later, she's already in a Western hoochie outfit? See, for these little details, the recaps make the show even more enjoyable! Some people find the show horrible, but I like it for some reason. Except for the Duhlina/Duhmilio and Don/Doña Loco storyline, that is.
