Destilando Amor 6/1/07 - No Recaps Due to 2 Hrs. of Repeats
I never understand why Univision schedules its telenovela episodios the way it does. There was no rhyme or reason for a 2 hr. block of repeated episodios tonight to my way of thinking. Next week is the soccer game, after all. If I am being selfish here, then so be it.
So, Friday night recaps of new ones will resume on 6/15/07, God willing and the creeks don't rise.....

Angelica Rivera is the most captivating and beautiful woman that I have ever seen. Watching the first episode on Friday was from months earlier and I have to say that she looks incredible, even without makeup. When I see her, I am just totally in love and to not see her, I am in agony. Does anyone else out here feel the same way?

I taped the show and when I went to watch it, I saw things from months ago, which I never taped in the first place I had watched it??? I was so confused as to why it was on there and where was the show that we saw the coming attrations of where gaviota and rod get it on with the kissing?? Is that what happendd. They suddenly played old ones???

This is great. I just discovered your site this morning. As I am still learning Spanish, I watch Distilando for practice. I have been watching it from the very begining. I have been searching the entire internet for the words to the song that Angelica is always singing (Gaviota). Does anyone know the words to the song or where I can find them? Dear Anon 12:48 PM -- yes, this Friday night they decided to show 2 key shows from earlier in the story instead. Monday they will start back with new episodes. Next Friday, 6/8/07 they are showing the Mexico/Cuba soccer game instead of Destilando Amor.

I'm glad they did the repeats, even though the timing was frustrating. I convinced my mom to watch so she could get an idea of what was going on. :)

I think that the reason for the reruns was presumably to let us understand their passionate love! This presumably will be the excuse for Gavi to .. not quite sure of the what the previews of the next few chapters meant!
i hate the fact that they choose the worst scenes to play on recap night...instead of the best scene of all time, the reveal of elvis. they should have just played that over and over again for 2 hours and i would have been satisfied

Welcome sarah DROLLINGER! Too funny! That scene was worth a "premio"/emmy equivalent for next year's award show.
Just wanted to thank you all for the wonderful, witty, in-depth recaps. I'm studying Spanish and have been watching DA since it started. Missed a week and was thrilled to find this site. I write for an American soap, and we tell stories verrrrrrry slowly. One day can last a week or more. But this moves so fast, I needed the synopses to keep up!
