Fuego en la Sangre - There Really Is a Ciudad Serdán!

I had a need to see where the story was actually taking place and the names of the towns were just names till I Google-mapped Mexico. Follow the yellow brick road from Puebla to the right and where the A pin is you'll find a tiny place called Ciudad Serdán, Puebla in Mexico. If I'm not mistaken the town where Fernando kept Luis and Rosario in that hotel was Cuautla, south of Mexico city.

Thanks, Jardinera! :-) The town where the real Hacienda Agustín is located, where they are filming, is Atlixco, just southwest of Puebla on the map.

Just came across this map, thanks, that's neat you put that. I actually posted a satellite hybrid map link in my recap last week to Ciudad Serdan; you can see the parroquia really well if you zoom in to the center.

According to the novela, the town where Rosi was stashed was supposedly Cuetzalan, also in Puebla. I posted a link to info about this real town too in the recap though the hotel scenes were probably actually filmed in the studio.

Thanks for the info on Atlixco. We think it's funny when we see a lot of traffic out on the road beyond the hacienda in outdoor scenes and wondered where it was exactly! Good to know!

k: Aha! I had forgotten the link completely! Sorry! Anyway, I am more of a 2D person when trying to get my bearings. ?; ?) I couldn't read the curvy script on the screen for love nor money with the city where the hotel was and that was the best I could make out to remember. What I don't understand is whether CD. Serdán is supposed to be a town or a suburb or a neighborhood of some bigger Puebla city, or the capitol, Puebla, itself. I'd say from the hybrid satmap you posted that it is a tiny poor suburb on the far outskirts of Puebla, the capitol.

Jeri: Yeah, I remember viewing the hotel pictures where they're filming that were linked. They were gorgeous. I really enjoyed that behind the scenes peek, too!

Thanks! Very interesting.

lol, Guys , The novela isn't actually filmed in Puebla. It's set in Puebla, but it is actually filmed in the state of Jalisco , in the Hacienda San Agustín, You guys where wayy of , Atlixco has nothing to do with the novela guys i'm from there and live here in puebla (matamoros) , i would know. Atlixco is a big city just like Puebla so yeah..

Puebalnooye2 -- We're having a little fun with all the possibilities. Thanks for stopping in.
