Thanks for the pictures and recap. I discovered the other day that i now get this channel, but I don't know if I will have the time to watch. Edith is a real scenery chewer.

Thanks, Jean. I must say the Santos/DB bedroom scene quickened MY pulse. Christian is hot, hot, hot. Not a lot of plot movement, other than the long awaited coupling. DB's passion (shall we say obsession?) for Santos makes her seem more human and vulnerable.

Pasofino, we all wonder about the rebullones. Best guess is they're birds that only Juan Primito seems to be aware of. I used to think they were all in his head, but now think they exist. But they haven't actually shown us what one looks like.
 

Thanks for the photos and recap, Jean. This is certainly a beautifully filmed telenovela and in such picturesque land whether that is Mexico or whereever. I know there was a discussion earlier on where. That isn't even getting started on how handsome the people and the horses are. I guess Santos has a problem now that it is "raining women". Somehow I don't think he is going to do the hallelujah part of that song.

Cheryl, this TN is set in Venezuela, primarily in the area near the Arauca river. It is actually filmed in Colombia, on another side of the Arauca. There was much discussion on another forum about the "anywhereland" factor of many TNs. It's supposed to give them a more global appeal, but some folks feel that their setting is part of their appeal in the first place. So far, some town names have been mentioned, as has the river, and in only one instance, the name Venezuela was mentioned. The rest of the time, they simply mention "the capital" or "the embassy" without further details.

Luisana is in for a rude awakening when she sees the land she crash landed on. I wonder if Santos will reveal that he's moved on. My guess is he'll keep quiet, hoping she'll become disillusioned with rustic life and move on all by herself.

Cecilia's no dummy! She saw right through Antonio's plans for a romantic getaway and planted Marisela smack in between them ;) Of course, the truly smart thing would be to realize that Federica is full of it and allow herself to have some happiness with Antonio.
 

I just watched Monday's episode and I'm surprised that Santos gave into the diabla! Right on time for the ex-girlfriend to show up in the Papa rebullone.

I sure hope things heat up with Antonio and Cecilia. She just needs to be happy about the 'miracle' of love she got...

Any idea what a "rebullon" is in English? Some sort of bird? I haven't found any authoritative translation.
