El Cuerpo del Deseo, - Mon., March 16 - PJ/S & Isabel are on the run

OK, I'm back from vacation and I am going to try and keep up with the last week of ECDD, which will end the 2008 Mario Cimarro marathon we've been on since LT started last January.

A cute pic of Mario from Friday's episode.

Monday-

PJ/S and Isabel are on the run. I haven't watched all the episodes I missed when I was away and some of them didn't get TiVo'd so I don't know why PJ/S and Isabel have run away but she apparently knows that he is PJ.

PJ/S tells Isabel that he doesn't feel well and is having visions of being with Cantalicia. (It doesn't seem like he has told Isabel that Salvador is trying to get his body back.) PJ/S and Isabel decide to do something to help Cantalicia.

It's blurry but Valeria slaps the unspeakable Rebeca in the middle of one of her tirades.

PJ/S mails a letter to Ángela and some money to the priest for Cantalicia. A policeman sees them.

PJ/S in his beach whites.

PJ/S and Isabel are kissing,,,

... when he gets the familiar psychic attack.

Ángela went to the hospital with false labor. She reads PJ's letter to her and says that even if they never meet again physically, he will always be the most important person to her.

Walter figures out where PJ/S and Isabel have gone.

Thanks, Jean. Whenever I read ''PJ/S'', I can't help thinking''pb &j.'' So, when this ends, do you think S will be back in his body and return to his wife and son ?????

Susanlynn,

This seems to be the direction this story is going, but will he get back to Cantalicia alive, or will she just finish the job of burying him?

On the other hand, there was a telenevola with Lorena Rojas in it where everything beyond the point early in the story when she was in a car accident was just a dream. She was in a coma for a long time and woke up in the end to find everything different than she had imagined it. The viewers were surprised too. So you never know with these things. We may be in for a surprise ending.

Glad to have you back Jean. Hope you had a good holiday.

Susanlynn, there is a happy ending to this story, sort of. When I saw the telenovela, I was pretty okay with how the story turned out. Not everyone ends up happy though I can say.

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Jean, welcome back. We missed you, but hope you had a relaxing and fun vacation.

PJ/S in beach whites is always a good thing.

Marie Celeste, PJ/S as a "wayward ghost" - good one.

It's sad that this thing is coming to an end (along with the Cimarro marathon). Jean, I've enjoyed your beautiful pictures and awesome summaries. Thank you so much for all of your hard work. I'll also miss all of you wonderful ladies.

Welcome back, Jean!

Thanks for the great photos. I always enjoy Mario in his beach whites, and the shot you have here is terrific. He looks like a graceful cat, walking toward the camera with the glasses of wine in his hands, his stunning frame highlighted by the knit fabric of his outfit. Priceless.

I hope your TiVo didn't miss the "critical" episode. If so, you'll have to catch up once you've got your DVD's back. I have to hand it to Lorena Rojas. I thought the scene with Isabel & the pistol in the bedroom last week was one of the most honestly gut-wrenching performances I've seen in a telenovela. It wore me out just watching it....

Suffice it to say, Isabel discovers PJ/S's secret, and calls a house meeting. Everyone confronts PJ/S and most truths come out, including her admitting to Andres' murder. PJ/S insists she pack a bag, saying the two of them are going to take a trip from which they may not return. Fearing it may be the end of her ride on the gravy train, Rebeca calls the police, who send a detective who interview the family & staff. Vicky spills the beans that Isabel admitting to killing Andres, and the police chase was on.

As far as Salvador dying, since he made it through the car crash, I suspect he'll survive...as Salvador Cerinze. As we know, one of the laws of telenovelas is that everybody gets their just desserts in the end. I always felt bad for Cantalicia & Moncho, losing their husband/father through no fault of their own. I suspect that will be righted by the end of the show.
