No denying that kiss was heartfelt...Evidently the lips totally disregarded the warning eminating from the brain to the mouth to protest. :)

I can't criticize Paloma. She's had so many tragedies, losing both her parents, her fiancee and worst of all, living with Carlota all these years. I wish she'd break with Romina but understand why she doesn't. She has nothing else to hold onto at this point. She can't embrace Emiliano as much as she wants to. She's still being led by her conscience. Of course, if she were following her heart, things would be different...

I also noticed that Camila and Rafael now have a theme song! And it's even something I like (I think it's Pegadito by Tommy Torres?), so that may bode well.
 

Julia - thanks for putting something up. I was thrilled that Rafael got a theme song with Camila. He's my first choice for her.

It's very worrisome that Cathy hasn't checked in... As we all know, it would take something very serious to keep us away from Caray Caray.

Regarding the kiss, Pal was totally into it. Her kiss was similar to those novela galan's when they get caught kissing someone they are not supposed to be kissing but manage to do so for an extraordinary amount of time. But I agree with Diana, the poor girl needs some happiness.

OK for those familiar with MEPS, who is more evil Barbie or Carlota?
 

I'd say Carlota is more evil. She just exudes it from every purple pore. Every now and then there is a glimpse of some humanity in Barbara, but Carlota is always scheming and cold-blooded, even when she's acting nice. Also, Barbara has more self-awareness. She knows she's mean and conniving, but she has her reasons. She doesn't pretend (to herself, anyway) to be moral. Carlota is absolutely convinced that she's the most upright and moral person around, and to me that is far more creepy.
 

Without a doubt Carlota is the most evil, she is in the same league as Gabby in FELS. BBarbi is more of a trained killer but Carlota exudes evil from every purple pore.

Cathy, I hope all is well. I totally loved the kiss. It was so sweet. I hope Paloma let's go of her guilt soon and embraces Emiliano. Aaron was such a jacka$$. I just wanted Emiliano to punch in the face. He seems a little creepy to me. Also when Camila and Rafael hands touched and they looked into each others eyes. It was cute. I like him for her although I also like Orlando. I took this off of esmas.com for Friday's episode. Orlando wants Emiliano for a partner and gives him 10% of the business. He will pay him in installments. Camila tells Macarena to accept the proposal from Dr. Bermudez. Mother Superior informs Camila that Paloma will not have the opportunity to get the scholarship. She lost it. Joel hopes the the ceramics will be an international success. Diana advises Camila to talk to Rafael and tell him divorce is hard and try to talk him out of it. This part I remember quite well without needing to read the summary on esmas.com. Emiliano waits for Paloma to get out of art school. It's raining outside and she runs into a doorway to get out of it and encounters Emiliano. She asks him what he is doing here. He tells her waiting for you. Why asks Paloma. Because I want you to tell me to my face that you are in love with Aron. I am responds Paloma. I don't believe you says Emiliano and I will help you see that and leans in for the kiss. He is so sweet and gentle with her and for a moment she kisses him back. She realizes what she is doing and pulls away. She slaps him and tells him to never do that again. Okay back to esmas.com summary, Camila tells Macarena about her feelings for Rafael. Macarena is like girl that's not good. Okay that's all there is. I also remember Diana inviting Romina over to talk about how they can get her and Emiliano back together. In the previews for Monday it shows Romina coming onto a drunk Emiliano and him waking up next to her. I hope this was not the idea Diana gave to Romina to get back with Emiliano. If so, she is not a very good mommy.
 

I see Chris is also listed as recapping on Friday nights. Was last Friday his night and he didn't realize it?
 

I think Camila is attracted to Rafi big time. She seems to like Orlando fine, but she seems to glow when Rafi is around !

I also wondered the same thing... Carlota VS Barbara, like Alien VS Predator...would be a great pay per view! I bet my money on Carlota, she is older, more experienced and sneaky...Barbie would put up a good fight but be worn down quickly...especially if Carlota offered her a cocktail.
