RoMEna be careful what you wish for. This is the hard lesson i believe Meche said to Camila that RoMEna had to learn. You can't make someone love you. Once she realizes that her father is a total sleaze that will be another wake up call.
You have to give Carloca credit if it calls for her to switch up her plan mid steam she will. Now she wants Paloma to go to college and is buttering her up.
The guy Samuel was roommates with is a detective?
Let's see if Paloma falls for it or sticks to her guns and leaves like she been saying.
When Romina's mamá wouldn't cook dinner she went to someplace for takeout, rejecting sophisticated food in favor of something that would look like she'd cooked it herself. Funny.
When she ran into Liliana they started hissing like cats, as usual. But Lil got the last word, asking her what she would do when the kid was born with black hair and maybe a few hairs under his lower lip!
Rafa is eating sushi with Em and tells him that Diana has agreed to the divorce. I don't remember that happening. Any one else?
German tries to get the DNA results pretending to be Em, but they ask for ID, so he goes away empty-handed.
Maybe they just run the same scenes of Paloma sobbing on her pillow again and again. Anyway Rufi shows up with a piece of that famous cake she loves, but of course she doesn't want it. The cell rings and she has Rufi pick up. It's the art teacher about the big art exposition, asking who she wants to invite. She says only she and Rufi will go. She tells Rufi she will never love again.
I'll go on a bit in another comment. I seem to remember blogger not accepting too long of comments.
Carloca has some brochures in hand and wants to talk them over with Paloma, who's gone out for some counseling from Angelica.
There's a very long and well acted scene at Romina's house with she and Em where she shows him the DNA results. You were right, Julia, she's artfully arranged the little baby clothes near the carefully prepared dinner (Ha!) on a table with lots of candles. She tells Em this proves that she's only ever been with him (say what?). He doesn't buy that. He's pretty sure she has been with German, but can't deny the written results.
As soon as he reads the paper, she tells him to set the wedding date. He asks her who else knows, and she says her mother and, of course, she told her best friend, Paloma. He's stricken. The snide little snot says she doesn't understand why Paloma didn't seem pleased. Maybe it's because she's envious that Romina will get the wedding she didn't get with Iñaki. Em agrees to go through with the wedding, but rushes right out of there leaving her furious that he won't eat the takeout dinner.
Other than Emiliano's finding out that the results seem to show that he's the baby's father, nothing else much happened that I recall. Well, Liliana is still the cleverest person in the bunch, just not buying Romina's story, test results or not.
Anon, 10:17, I was also confused that Samuel's former roommate is a detective or something. I hope they bring him into the story more. We now seem to have quite a few people on the trail of Paloma's inheritance. Still among the missing is Carmen, Inaki's mother, who has a few of the missing pieces of the puzzle too.

Camila and Orly are leaving her crafts shop to have that friendly dinner she agreed to. Rafa is driving by and sees them. Tears run down his cheeks.
Orly is being his usual asshat self, all excited when he hears that the baby is Em's and that Em and Romina are going to marry. He says this means it will bring the two of them closer as abuelo and abuela of the spawn. He never gives up.
Carloca barges into Paloma's room and insists on seeing her in her office. All giggly and happy she shows Paloma the vacation brochures. She plans to send her away for an enjoyable trip. (Or go with her? I didn't think so, but hard to believe she'd let her out of her sight.) Paloma is less than enthusiastic, saying she can't miss school. I'm not sure what this is all about; maybe she wants her away for a few days so Romina can firm up the wedding plans?
Natalia and her friend are having dinner with Alonso. The friend (can't remember her name) says she likes Real del Monte, but misses the concrete and smog of the city.
Alonso gets a call from the same guy who Samuel was mooching off in Ciudad México. I can't remember if we knew about this connection before. It seems he's not the one who found out the information about Paloma's inheritance for Iñaki, but he knows the guy who did. He says he'll get right on it.
Camila tells Orly about Samuel wanting her back. He looks very angry about this. A bit later he asks her to marry him. Sigh.
Thanks for the info on the conversation when Rafa and Em were eating sushi. I was so fascinated with the sushi, I wasn't listening to the conversation. First, it was WOW, you can buy sushi in Real del Monte. Then really why not. Then I thought how fresh is the fish in this mountain village. I was looking to see what kind of sushi. Then it was watching them take out the chopsticks and rub them together to remove the splinters. Notice how a man is not a polite server and brings out the food that belongs to only himself. So no idea of what was said.
Rafa was driving, perhaps with the purpose of finally speaking to Camila, when lo and behold, there she is on the street but unfortunately with Orlando. Remember Romina had kicked her own mother out the the night. Anyway, we see big tears roll down Rafa's anguished face.

Knowing Carloca she would be going on that trip to with her.
So enjoyed Emiliano leaving RoMEna high and dry at her dinner party.
I just love Liliana the girl gets right to the point and doesn't put up with any B.S.. Too bad she's not the heroine for this novela instead.
I too miss Diana saying she would give Rafael a divorce too. Maybe he said she might give him one now since he and Emiliano know what she did to Orlando.
That dim Orlando just doesn't know when to back off. He was telling people he and Camila were back together when she had only agreed to one dinner, and then asking her to marry him? Give this poor woman a minute to catch her breath, dude!
I love Liliana, and it's high time one of the people in the know pointed out to Romina that it's unlikely her baby is going to look like a child of Emiliano.
I get so excited when Liliana is on and most especially with RoMEna. That's why RoMEna can't stand her because Liliana sees right through her B.S. and get straight to the truth.
Sort of like a elephant in a china shop.
I liked Orlando from the start, he is attractive in a 70's kind of way with that hair. (He never seemed slimy to me, but maybe I like slimy guys) He is a bit goofy, though, and you're right, socially awkward, like being so affectionate with Ange when he knows how she feels.
He's like an over grown frat boy from college who has never grown up.
He doesn't no what to say at the right time. It says something stupid at the most inappropiate of times. He does mean well.
If you can't do that then cut some onions and hold them up to eyes. Because you squeezing and squinting your eyes trying to force yourself to cry is not cutting it with me.
I don’t recall Diana telling Rafa she’d give him his divorce, but I do remember her telling herself that she would.
Anon 1:44: I agree, the Emiliano actor needs to go to Weeping 101, which I guess he skipped before. I’m amazed at how so many actors can turn on the waterworks. It must be hard to do with camera people all over you shooting close-ups.
But what will Paloma DO during the time she is forced to be apart from Emiliano? Finally turn 18? Find out about the inheritance she should get? Find out Cris is her father? Finish school? Move away? Meet another Fine Dude? Fall in love with a sleazeball?
I hope they don't push off all the big important stuff until the very end. There are enough threads running in this show that they could keep revealing key information throughout without running out of steam.
