For discussion of the Friday Dec. 11 ENDA episode.

Rufi after talking to the Dr. who was treating her, she asked about infections. I think then the Dr. told her how people can get sick from the wrong injections.

That led Rufi to remember when she saw the different bottles on the kitchen table with Mac's insulin medicine.

Rufi is now suspecting that Carloca was doctoring Mac's medicine. How long will take for Rufi to jump to the conclusion that Carloca poisoned Inaki.

Paloma was told by La Loca who was still steaming from Cris"s latest rejection. That she will listen to her and Rufi is no longer working here.

Paloma then told La Loca when i turn 18 i am leaving with Rufi and Dr. Bermudez. Carloca tried to tell her she can't do that she's her guardian and people will talk about her living with the Dr.

Paloma told her i don't care, i will leave this house and you once i turn 18.

Well that was enough to ruin La Loca's breakfast, and we thought she was steaming before.

Cris and Padre Benito are visited by a couple who give the church a religous artifact. It is their way of saying thank you to Cris for all of the good works he is doing with the children.

Padre Benito looks on proudly, the couple then leave. Cris then tell Padre Benito he needs to go visit Natalia to find out what's going on with Paloma's inheritance.

Benito nods his understanding and tells him to go he has nothing to worry about.

Natalia leaves with her friend but says goodbye to Alonso first.

Paloma goes to Camila's house to speak to Rufi, Emiliano races down stairs because he overheard Camila's conversation with Paloma the night before.

Emiliano opens the door for Paloma they stare at each other, then Camila comes down the stairs.

Rufi calls and talks to Paloma, paloma tells Rufi not to worry and get well. Once she is 18 they are leaving with Dr. B.

Emiliano offers to drive Paloma to school it's on his way to work excuse. Paloma tells him no

Emiliano stares at Paloma as she leaves the house then remembers he is doing this in front of his new mother in law.

Camila gives him an understanding look.

After Natalia and her friend leave Alonso he closes the laptop he was working on and opens the book with Arcadia's letter for Carmen.

Alonso decides to read the letter and a stun look comes upon his face.

Later we see Arcadia writing this letter and hear her words accusing Carloca of killing Inaki.Using Belladona because she did not want her niece to marry inaki.

Later we Alonso going to it looks like a deserted storage or garage he pays a guy off i guess for its usage.

Then we see Alonso at a market walking along purchasing something.

Camila is interrupted with her packing by RoMEna who ask where she is going.

Camila tells her she is going away with Orlando, why this throws miss it's all about into a fit. Camila tries to reassure RoMEna but tells her she has to live her life also.

RoMena does not want to hear this of course, Camila tells her this will always be your house. RoMEna throws Camila out of her room.

Liliana is in class daydreaming about the kiss from German. Paloma daydreams about being at the hospital yesterday with Emiliano.

The other girl daydreams about Gabriel. She even ask Paloma if it's ok if she go to one her classes with him. Paloma says i guess so but why. The girl says he's dreamy Paloma can't believe they are talking about the same guy.

Someone is waiting outside Manor of Misery. We see Carloca inside her room chastising the face of Cris telling she will make him pay for his latest rejection.

Carloca then leaves the house and is slowly being followed by someone in a car. She stops once to look around but see nothing and continues.

Carloca is slowly walking along the sidewalk, then we see a pair of legs creeping up behind her.

That someone then puts a drugged hankerchief over Carloca's mouth and nose. We get to see her eyes roll up as she passes out.

Then we see Carloca waking up some in the back of some one's trunk, the same person puts the hanky again over her mouth and nose.

It seems Carloca is down for the count.

RoMEna is down stairs eating while Camila is giving her money for her living expenses. Camila's phone rings.

It's Rafael pleading with her not to go thru with a marriage to amna she doesn't love. He knows she loves him.

We then see Carloca in the empty storage place tied up slowly waking up.She asks where she is.

Orlando is talking to Emialiano about Camila and Emiliano tells him about seeing Paloma that morning and she's the only woman he will ever love.

Alonso then walks towards Carloca with a cup of some he was making in the corner he forces the liquid down Carloca's mouth.

Carloca ask why is he doing this to her, Alonso says I now know for sure that you killed my son.

Carloca is stunned and scared for real this time.

Alonso tells LaLoca about the letter Arcadia left for Carmen that he read, accusing her of killing Inaki.

Carloca starts screamimg for help Alonso smiles and tells her to yell all you want no one will hear you.

Camila then tells Rafael to accept and respect her decision and hangs up on him.

RoMEna asks who she was talking too and has a smirk on her face.

Alonso goes and gets more refreshments for Carloca, who is pleading with Alonso its not the truth i didn't do anything.

Alonso gives her more to drink, Carloca as devious as ever tries to changes tactics. She tells Alonso to think of his daughter and how it would affect her if he killed her.

Alonso says i am thinking of my child and that's why i am doing this. You know my child Inaki this response was not what Carloca was hoping for.

Diana is in her living room asking her maid if she heard anything. The maid asks what things, Diana invites her to sit next to her on the sofa.

You know about Camila then the maid say yes, she heard how nice and pretty she is, this of course sets off Diana who starts yelling at the maid and tells her to go back to the kitchen.

Carloca then starts to get angry when she sees trying to be nice and pleading with Alonso is not working.

Alonso gives her even more refreshments to quench her anger. Alonso the ask why tell me the real reason why you killed my son.

Was it for Paloma because you did not want her to marry Inaki? Perhaps it was because you would lose all of the money that Paloma was going to inherit.

You know the inheritance that your brother Javier left for Paloma when she turns 18.

Carloca who thought no one would ever find out about the inheritance is in complete total shock.

So ends episode 109 only 62 more to go.

This was the best so far, someone finally getting the upper hand on La Loca. Now she has a taste of her own medicine.

Monday's preview we see Paloma asking the new maid where Carloca be.

We see Carloca still tied up with Alonso.

Wow, what an excellent job, Anon. Your recap was fast and thorough. Thanks so much.

The only thing I can add is the scene of Diana taking her clothing out of a suitcase (why the suitcase?) and angrily throwing them around as unsatisfactory. But for what purpose does she need something special we wonder? Then near the end of the episode as he is readying to leave on his trip to the U S, Orlando answers the door at his home and is surprised by someone that we are unable to see fully. I think it is Diana, I assume wearing that something special, perhaps coming over to seduce Orlando since she has struck out with Rafa....just my speculation.

I am so enjoying Alonso giving Loca some of her own medicine (belladonna, I assume) but he really needs to gather everyone together and go over all their evidence against Loca and then go to the police. But then what are the odds of that especially in RdM.

GinCA

Thanks, Anonymous, for the thorough description.

I thought I'd put down Arcadia's letter since I translated the whole thing:

Alonso finally reads Arcadia’s letter. It’s addressed to Carmen, and we see a flashback of Arcadia writing it. “I knew Señorita Carlota was capable of something horrible to separate her niece from Iñaki, but I never thought she would be capable of what she did. I saw her one day in the Mercado in Pachuca. She didn’t see me, but I saw her buy an herb called belladonna. She bought a lot of it just before the dinner for Iñaki to ask for Paloma’s hand. When I asked them what it was they said it was good for colds and other things, but in large quantities it could kill, causing the heart to stop. I am sure that she gave it to Iñaki at that dinner because that’s the way he died, of heart failure. And now that I know how bad this woman is, I’m afraid she’ll kill me too. If anything happens to me, I want someone to know that she’s responsible.”

When I saw Carloca in the trunk, I laughed out loud!

I also translated what Alonso said to Carlota:

Alonso starts in on Carloca. “Why did you make everyone think your brother died debt-ridden and left nothing for Paloma?” She says: “It’s true.” He says: “You’re so nuts you’re starting to believe your own lies. I read the will, and I know that Paloma has a huge inheritance. I also know you got the money for their house. I’m sure you invested this and made a bundle off Javier and Sagrario’s money. Of course, if Paloma got married, this fortune would go. Better to keep her a prisoner. My son found out, and in some way you found out he knew. For this you had to get rid of him. And Arcadia knew how you poisoned him the night of the dinner.”

At the very end Alonso says to her:

He wants her to feel like someone’s puppet for a change. He wants her to see how it feels when someone can do anything they want with you, how it feels not to have power.

Thanks for the assist GinCa and Novelera i forgot the Orlando scene with Diana coming over to his house.

I guess this is her way of getting back at Camila huh?

I had to retype it because i didn't know about the cut off point.

Got a big laugh at the ode to Harry Potter with Cris's image in Carloca's room.

I was enjoying every drop Alonso was pouring down Carloca's throat.

That's a scene i can replay over again and never get tired from seeing it.

While i may get extremely annoyed with how the role of Paloma been written.

Even Emiliano is annoying me now too.If this drama is not nominated and does not win for the best novela of 2010 then the fix is in.

Thanks Anon, Novelera and GinCa for the excellent recap. I thought I was awake for the entire episode but reading your recaps I realize I dozed off a bit. Thanks.

Was Bella Donna in the glass or was Alonso trying to scare Carloca? I didn't see him mix it or I may have dozed off. But he did stop by the marketplace.

Diana is a good actress. She's doing a great job. But she doesn't give up!!! I like to punch her face in, she's so...ugh!!!

Poor Liliana so hooked on a louse. Do you think with Liliana being so nice that somehow German may redeem himself and perhaps they may end up together after all???

Ann-NYC

Wow. I was on the edge of my seat. Can't wait to see what Alonzo does with Carloca. I would hate for him to get in trouble for kidnapping her, now that he's reconciled with Natalia.

Wait til Rufi gets back!

Ann he was definitely putting something in the liquid he was forcing her to drink. Remember when he had his back turn towards her.

He was in the corner doing something i think maybe a stove, and he was concocting something and it was effecting her.

I hope Liliana comes to her senses because German is as selfish like RoMEna and those tow really desrve each other.

Anon, thanks so much for the recap! What an intense episode - wow. It was great to see La Loca get a taste of her own medicine, but of course, Alonso shouldn't be taking this into his own hands. He should get together with the others and collect evidence. Don't think it will happen, though. If she gets away who knows what could happen to him. I thought maybe he was giving her some kind of truth serum? It also looked a bit like a lesser version of waterboarding.

Emooniano (I liked that from yesterday) is getting a bit boring. And Pal, I can't stand her hair. It's like they've put some kind of partial wig on her with that headband.

The drawing of the girl that Gabe did was the girl in the class with Pal. So it isn't Pal that he likes apparently.

Ivy i thought the drawing looked more like Liliana. I don't think Gabriel is even thinking about the other girl. He's already smitten by Paloma.

Yeah, I thought he was smitten by Pal, too, but they seemed to be setting something up between him and the girl in her class. It's great that this TN keeps setting up these mysteries!

That reminds me there was a mystery woman who was looking at ceramics convention on her computer.

We may have a new character coming on.

Good Day, ENDA watchers:

And thank you to all the ENDA recappers, incuding Anon. last night. I have been lurking here for a while and you make the show so understandable. I usually only see ENDA in the 15 minutes or so before Sortilegio but I am so hooked that I actually watched all of Friday's episode.

Wow! Talk about real drama! It was shocking to see la Violeta—I mean Carlota in such a vulnerable position.

I guess with so many episodes to go that she must escape but she got some comeuppance last night.

Again, thanks for your recaps. You make a dark and intense drama very engaging.

One more thing about the lightbulb going on over Rufi's head.

Rufi is a lot better. She’s with Edmundo and the doctor. Doc says he’s diluting her antibiotics by 50% with suero (saline solution) because she doesn’t need such strong doses. Rufi makes an intuitive leap and remembers seeing a bottle of that stuff on the kitchen table. She wonders if this is why Macarena’s insulin wasn’t working? Could Carlota be that bad? You betcha, Rufi!

Elna June i'm so addicted to this show and i really hope that it wins for best novela next year.

Novelera the thing that gets me about Rufi and others to is at the time she took a bottle for Dr. B to check it. To see if it was the same medicine for Mac.

Dr. B came over to the house and just as soon as open her mouth to ask him about it. Carloca came into the room and ask why he was there.

Rufi then made up a story that he was concern about Mac's well being and Dr. B confirmed it. Then it was like Rufi completely forgot to mention it to him again.

Why can't these people retain their thoughts for more than 15 minutes?

I forgot about the quick scene, Anon. Perhaps the mysterious woman looking at the ceramic convention info on her computer will become a new love interest for Rafa or Joel if they cross paths at the convention. Rafa, possibly because Camilia seems determined to end their relationship permanently or Joel, since he's having trouble finding a nice woman in spite of being a stable sensible guy.

Gabriel's drawing seemed to be a poor likeness of Paloma and not very professional looking for an artist. I don't think it's a sketch of Liliana or her other friend since Gabriel seems to be smitten with Pal like every other guy in RdM.

Novela, your Spanish is amazing. Thanks for your translations of Arcadia's letter and Alonso's words to Loca. I just had a vague idea of what was said.

GinCA

I didn't think that drawing looked at all like Paloma. I'm not saying he was drawing Liliana but the drawing itself looked more like her than Paloma.

Yeah he fallen for Paloma mysterious charms.

Can anyone tell me what capitula ENDA is being shown on Youtube???Thanks.

Ann-NYC

Many thanks to Anonymous, GinCA, and novelera for all this extremely helpful information! I was especially confused about what the doctor told Rufi. When I finally figured out that he had said "suero" and not "suedo," my dictionary told me that "suero" means serum, and I was still confused. "Saline solution" makes a lot more sense to me.

Like everyone else, I was delighted to see Cruelota get some of her own medicine, but I agree that Alonso is playing with fire. I'd hate to see him get burned. If Cruelota escapes, could she have him arrested, or does he have enough on her to prevent her from going to the police? And if she doesn't go to the police, can she get back at him in another way? Obviously, there are no depths too low for her to sink.

Thanks for the compliment, GinCA. I've been studying Spanish for about 15 years, starting in beginning and moving into advanced. My advanced class is once a week for two hours. We have an hour of free-form conversation and an hour of literature when we discuss the novel or play we're reading for class. Someone in this wonderful class suggested TNs to me to improve comprehension about 8 years ago and the rest, as they say, is history. I try to convince myself it's for improving my Spanish, but of course I'm addicted!

When it comes to someone like Alonso, with that tricky European Spanish accent, I have to back up the DVR and listen two or three times to get it all.

The Sortilegio recap doesn't appear to be up, but sometimes it's in a different place. Does anyone know? Thanks.

Ivy, sometimes Jardinera doesn't post it until later on Saturday afternoon. She does such an amazing job! It would take me hours and hours to write something as detailed and funny as her recaps.

Ivy, sometimes Jardinera doesn't post it until later on Saturday afternoon. She does such an amazing job! It would take me hours and hours to write something as detailed and funny as her recaps.

This is just awesome!! Anon,Novelara and Ginca great job.I am away a lot and don't get to watch as much as I would like. The translations are incredible, so reading the recaps is like watching the show all over again but with comprehension. It couldn't get any better. Annon, thanks again for all your help.
As for Carlota, the Jemaicans have a saying the goes like this, "Payback time is a bitch" sorry about the use of the "b" word but that lady sure has it coming.
Have a great weekend my friends.
Hanna, md

Ann are you looking for a specific capitulo?

Hanna no problem i just go with the 8 years of spanish i learned in school. I can't get the cc to work on my tv for nothing and i have tried everything.

Sometimes i miss some words depending on who's speaking and maybe background noise but i pretty much understand what they're saying.

I think Alonso has redeemed himself with us after cheating on Natalia. I just hope he gets La Loca locked up.

Ivy please be patient with Jardinera it is well worth the wait.h

Thanks for writing Anon. My message was confusing. I was looking for yesterday's capitula and finally found it -- Cap. 110.

Ann-NYC

PS - Sortilegio is up now.

Goodness, I wasn't complaining, I just thought it might be up in weird place as has happened before.

Ivy i didn't take as you complaining i get the same way when i don't see my recaps too.

Usually they are posted later on the weekends ok.

I know, sometimes they don't show up until much later. Guess I'm realllyyy hooked now! I look so forward to it and am really grateful to the people who recap.

When it during the week it usually a problem with the tagging and when i don't see a recap up by 1 o'clock i usually ask if someone knows what's happening.

Someone is always nice enough to give me the website to go to bring it up.

It's been happening for a few weeks with this problem. The weekend they usually post later.

Maybe this might work:

1. type in Caray, Caray! in Google search (which is what I use) and hit search or any search engine

2. when the Caray, Caray! site appears in the list of sites (it is the first one,) just click on the words in the title, nothing else

3. then it should take you to the latest postings for all the 3 novelas (Gancho, ENDA and Sort) which are arranged by latest posting always at the top of the page

4. scroll down slowly to find the novela you are looking for. Good Luck and hope it works.

Oh and then bookmarking helps so you can reach the site to check out new recaps before they go on the sidebar.

Anon at 8:07 and 10:50 pm thanks for the heads up.

Thanks, everyone for the recaps.

Did Alsonso make the connection between Arcadia's hit-run death and Carlota?

I'm sure La Loca will manage to slither out of this somehow. It's a little too soon for her to get her real comeuppance, but it was muy gratifying to see her literally squirming in fear.

Jackie

Jackie, Arcadia wrote in her letter if anything should happen to her she feared for her life. She was also greedy for money too which is why she was blackmailing La Loca.

Alonso probably guessed by what Arcadia wrote that Carloca killed her too.

Thanks, Anon 12:35. That makes sense. Too bad Alonso didn't try to turn all this over to the police. If they had checked with the auto repair shop (how many could there be in Real del M.), they would have found that La Loca had a suspicious dent in her car repaired right after Arcadia's accident.

Jackie

I guess it keeps the story going if people don't do the sensible thing. I thought Mac's fall should be have been taped off as a crime scene, that the ambulance guys should have been suspicious. Would that window really have broken if she had just fallen against it naturally? That needed some force.

Good points from both Ivy and Jackie i think the key to reveal everything about La Loca and her insanity is now Rufi.

She knows that Cris is really Paloma's dad. She saw Carloca paying the repair guy to fix the dent her car.

She also knows about the great lie from La Loca to separate Cris and Mac for all those years.

Now after her questions about the dosage of medicines taken through injections. She is suspecting Carloca of messing with Mac's insulin medicine.

Don't forget the look on her face when she discovered Mac on the floor. her look was like she couldn't belive that Mac fell through that plate of glass like that.

Right now it's good that she is out of town

Anon, thank you for recapping! It was extremely helpful. You should sign off with a name, a made-up one if you don’t want to use your own, so we can thank you “in person.” When several people are anonymous we can’t tell who is who in the comments. Of course, it’s okay to be anonymous if you like!

Novelera, big thanks for detailing the pivotal conversation and the letter.

And elna june sonoma – it’s great to have you join us!

It’s fun to see Carlota’s helmet-hard hairdo get mussed a bit.

Yeah, that drawing of whoever was pretty bad. You’d think they would have someone on staff who could produce a better drawing for this otherwise high-level production.

Great episode, great fun. I can’t wait to see what Alfonso has in mind for Carlota. What drink is he forcing on her? I he planning to kill her?

Wow This Show Keeps Getting Better And Better, I Cant Wait Until Tonight's Episode To Find Out The Outcome Of Carlota, And Will Emiliano Still Stalk Paloma? Other Then That Great Recap!!

Ooooh, this show is SO JUICY now!

Mystery Anonymous Recapper, thanks for outlining the show for us. It's really helpful to have that review of everything that happened.

How long can it still be until Paloma's 18th birthday? Must be any. day. now.

I agree about the artwork; if they're going to claim these people are so talented they should put a little more effort in. At that art exhibition some of the stuff looked like ordinary middle-school-student work and there was a cherub painting which I'm almost certain we've seen on walls in various telenovelas. It seems like it would be pretty easy to find an art student or struggling artist who would sell a few things to the production at a reasonable cost and make it a little more believable.

It's great watching Carlota suffer, but Alonso really should have gotten the police involved...going solo usually just puts the good guy in a lot of danger, at least in the mystery novels.

Julia and Maggie no problem glad to help out.

I thought Paloma birthday was near and around the same time as RoMEna's isn't that what they showed us at the beginning of this novela. Now it's almost one year later and still she hasn't had her birthday?

I'm like everyone else enjoying Carloca getting a taste of her own medicine.

I can understand Alonso rage and revenge too, after reading that letter from Arcadia and finding out about the inheritance too.

This sick and twisted person killed his precious son for money. I would be angry and furious too.

Insane how long they are stretching out the days until Paloma is 18.

Do I correctly recall that back when Iñaki and Paloma were engaged and didn't think Carlota would give permission for them to marry, they said they would just wait it out until Paloma was 18; it was only a few months away anyhow? And that was a long time ago.

By the time they get around to the birthday this novela will probably be ending LOL.

Probably. The birthday will be part of the last week excitement.

Then they will have to have a time jump, because as far as I know a telenovela never ends with a woman still pregnant. Not with a pregnancy which has been in any way a part of the plot, anyhow. Perhaps a suggestion that the heroine is expecting as part of the "happy ever after."

Hey, isn't Paloma actually older than Romina? Go back and watch the 3rd episode pt 1 on Youtube, when Pal had her b-day party (epi. 1), then she meets Romina and it's Romi's birthday party on the same day?(this happens right after Pal's parents die and she ran away) So, now she's younger than Romina? I guess the writers must have fallen asleep on that part! As much as I love the show, I don't want some 'happy go lucky' ending, where everything is resolved (kinda like in CCEA), that would be so boring to watch and this show is actually picking up nicely after a 2-3 week slump.

Anon at 10:51 other people have mention that before i guess the writers expected us to forget that part because the novela is 171 episodes long.
