From yesterday:
Replay of love scene.
Today:
Alex is getting ready to leave. Arturo is pumping Ez for info. Ez says Alex is going on a trip. MJ is crying because he is leaving. He tries to reassure her They kiss. He worries about the baby and she says the baby is fine and has him feel the non-existent baby bump.
Victoria and Alex are coming down the stairs and Felipa wishes him well. EZ is crying. He can't believe it. Alex tells him it is just for a little while. Alex gives him a man-hug and tells him to take care of his family. EZ swears that he will. With everyone occupied, Cuko can put his plan into action. He darts out of the house making a break for freedom.
Raquel runs up screeching at Alex about going on a trip now. She says it is all over the papers that the DNA was positive and that she and Bruno are bastards. Well, if the shoe fits... Alex says sorry Raquel. Curses, foiled again! Cuko is discovered and runs back into the house or maybe he's just trying to get away from Raquel's screeching. Without taking a breath Raquel continues her tirade, It's true mama, none of this would have happened if Alex hadn't married MJ. It is all her fault. She starts to say it was her mothers fault because--SMACK --Viewerville gives Victoria a round of applause. Unfortunately for Raquel she doesn't know when to quit while she's ahead. This is the opportunity that Felipa has been waiting for—She tells her to watch her tongue. Her mother married the father of her children. She hits Raquel with both barrels and asks her about her lover Useless. You know, the one you visit in his apartment. Raquel calls her an f-ing liar. EZ walks in and tells her she better zip it or he's going to speak also. She calls him a desgraciado infeliz which I just learned is not a very nice name. She says she'll throw them on the street. Oh yeah, you and what army? Vicky asks Felipa and Ez to come here please. They go off in another room to have a chat.
Fer gets a call from Alex. It sounds urgent. He tells him he's on the way. He tells Bratia to get a move on. She comes down the stairs and says she is sick. He wants her to go to a doctor. She says, no she took some pills. He kisses her and leaves. Ewww, do you know where her face has been? Yuck. Amazingly she feels much better once Fer leaves and she pops up looking for trouble. She pulls out his laptop. She can't get the right password. Obviously she didn't read the recap from yesterday. Uh oh, It looks like she finally figured it out and is now looking for intel. She finds a file that looks promising and opens it up. It looks like some kind of memo with photographs. (Did anybody catch what it was?) She can't figure out why her brother is interested in photographs.
Vicky wants to know if they are sure about Raquel. Felipa says she is a married woman visiting a single man in his apartment. Ez says she goes alone without Arturo. She didn't want us to say a word about it to you. Vicky speculates that must be why Raquel asked for a divorce. She wants to know about Useless. Felipa says he doesn't work (not sure about that, help). MJ comes downstairs and fake kissess all around. MJ asks Vicky if it is ok for her sister to come stay with her for awhile. Vicky says of course. You don't have to ask permission it's your house. Sweet! MJ looks worried and asks if something happened. Vicky says the results are in on the DNA and it is in the paper. I still don't get why it is a big deal. The parents did marry after all.
Fer arrives at the hotel where Alex is staying. Fer says the obvious, you've already left the house. Yes. Alex's phone rings. It's the Abogado. Apparently the results are in on the DNA. Alex says that Bruno is trying to rush the will contest and it will be in a week in Cancun. Fer asks when the divorce would be final and Alex says the judge thought it will take a month. Fer says the problem will be what happens after (I couldn't get the rest.)
Paula is happy to see MJ. Pedro is with her. Paula is so happy she is turning in circles like I used to when I was a kid. But I would always smack into the wall and fall down. She sees Roberto and they give each other a great big brotherly/sisterly hug. Pedro is worried about Roberto and Paula. Roberto wants to know if Pedro is coming back too. Pedro says he and Chucho have a little place in town. Roberto always trying to get the 411, wants to know where Alex went. MJ says he went on a small trip. Why does everybody want to know where Alex is?
PDE slinks out of the shadows and accosts Tomas. He's fishing for information about Meche. Tomas doesn't know who she is. PDE finds out that Alex went on a trip and that Paula was back staying with MJ. I would sure hate everybody knowing my business like that.
Bruno is in pool talking with Erik. Bruno wants to know what is going on with MJ. Ole Buttlick says MJ is here but Alex went on a trip. Bruno wants to know what kind of trip. He calls his mom. (Yeah, like she's going to tell you.) He asks her where Alex went and she says he didn't say. He hangs up and gets a call from Bratia who tells him that she got into the computer and found some pictures. Bruno is not interested and hangs up. Bruno says he has to talk to the attorney right away.
Back at the office Chucho is making faces at Mari. She looks at him strangely. (Seriously, wouldn't you look at some old guy strangely who was sitting in the lobby making googly eyes at you) She is saved by Alex and says that Alex will see him now. Whew, what a relief. He gives her googly eyes again and Alex laughs as she shuts the door. What's up dude? I brought you the papers to look over. Alex looks at the papers and they make small talk about Chucho's new “business.” Alex asks him if he's heard any news of Meche and Gabe. Chucho lies and says no. Somehow I think that is going to come back and bite Chucho in the butt.
Fernando calls Victoria and they have some kind of boring conversation where Vicky says she doesn't want to lose him and that she and Herman are just friends. Fer says if you need me I'll be at your side. Sorry, FF>>
Back at the casa. MJ and Paula are talking. MJ wants the scoop on Roberto.. Paula says nothing is going on. Can't I have a friend? MJ is worried about what people will say. Paula tells her to relax. MJ says she trusts her. R i g h t!
Alex calls and MJ answers the phone. He's worried about her. He will see her tonight. Don't worry. Has something happened? Alex calls Mari and says he needs to rent a car. Everything is strictly confidential. He will rent one today and then a different one tomorrow. Mari is worried and asks if he needs help with anything. He says no. It's under control.
Bruno calls Raquel. Let's meet in ½ an hour. Well, ok. Raquel goes to Useless' apartment. He's not there. She worries.
Meanwhile useless is at Moora's and she is filling him in on the situation with Mario Aguirre. He can't believe that she actually told Alex. She didn't tell him anything about Useless. (Well that certainly is a relief.) She tells him that Bruno was behind it. Moora wants to know what is going on with Useless and he says he has his little secrets. Hmmm, do we really want to know what all of them are?
Raquel is waiting for Bruno He shows up in a nice blue shirt without a scarf—oh wait, there it is. You can barely see it peeking out. Background noise. He is cussing Alex for taking a trip now. He wants her to find out from Vicky where he went. Ha, like that is going to happen. Maybe when Hell freezes over. He leaves and she calls him stupid.
Chucho and Pedro are tidying up. Why do they have a hammock in their living room? Meche and Gabe show up and they show them where their new room will be. FF>>.
Alex calls EZ and tells him he will be there shortly. He arrives at the house and tells Arturo to tell no one that he is there. Alex goes up to see Victoria. Ez wants to know what is going on he is very worried. He prays and asks Don Antonio to help his son.
Fer arrives home. He sees Bratia's phone on the couch. Ah hah!. He looks at the numbers and finds she calls Bruno a lot. He is not very happy. What to do, what to do? He goes looking for Katia. She is sleeping. He wants to know why she calls Bruno so much. He tells her that she knows that Bruno and Alex are enemies. She is astounded and incensed that he would look at her phone. She whines about it being her life. Enough. It is my house and I don't want you calling him. He's my boyfriend. Oh, no, Fernando is going to have a stroke. He tells her that Bruno could go to jail. (I think he should go to Hell wearing gasoline underpants, personally.)
Katia calls and he wants to know what she wants. It is late. She tells him that Fer saw she's been calling him. I told him we were novios. He' s not happy. Aren't we novios? Yessssss, of course, he says with a forked tongue, but it could be a lot of trouble. Of coursssse I love you, he hisses. Whatever!
Alex and MJ are together. He wants her to do stuff with Paula and his mom. He assures her the time will pass quickly. He's got a lot going on. He thinks about her a lot. More kissing.
Next day. Alex is leaving for work. She doesn't want him to go. More crying.
Fer and Bratia. She wants to go to work with him. Bruno is a bad person he reminds her. Why? He does other very bad things. It is personal for Alex. Be very careful. Do not tell him anything. Are you coming with me? Yes.
MJ and Alex are talking about Meche. Nobody knows anything about her. Alex isn't sure they are telling the truth. EZ tells him his truck is ready. Please be careful. Take care of our baby. They hug. She is overcome with sadness. Crying on the stairs again. Ez has a bad feeling. He has to sit down on the bench.
Alex in a towel. Calling Mari. Talking about work. Be discrete. Who cares? Let's go back to Alex in a towel.
Gab and Chucho are talking about Gab's therapy. I don't really like that kid. I'm not sure why. he always has a kind of snotty look on his face. Chucho will go with him. Meche says he has stuff to do. He says it is ok. They head off to the hospital. She is crying—again.

Bruno can't begin the process for contesting the will without Alex there. All the relevant parties have to be available and present. So Alex being "away" on a trip means Bruno can't start the process. So when Alex was talking with Fer about Bruno gearing up to start things immediately now that the dna results have come in, they realized Alex hiding out in a hotel in Merida, or anywhere else in the country, was not going to work. Fer first suggests that Alex play sick, and have Hernan confirm that. They nixed that idea and decided that Alex needs to be out of the country for realz. So he's going to NYC indefinitely, and that's what he told MJ and that's why she was so sad again. So he's asked her to communicate with Fer if she has any problems because Fer will be the only one to know where exactly he is and will also be in charge of the biz I guess. So the plan to see each other now and then and for clandestine booty calls at night is now up in smoke. They will really be separated. :(

I don't think Alex goes up to see Victoria when he goes to the house in the middle of the night. The only people in the house who knew he was there were MJ, EZ and Auturo- even the guy at the gate doesn't know who came in the truck because EZ told him to let the truck pass through without inspecting who/what was inside. At this point only Fernando, MJ, Mari (since she's in charge of the travel logistics) and pehaps the lawyer know about his going to NY.
I believed MJ when she said she trusts Paula. I just don't think she trusts Bobo. She said to her father that she would speak to both of them, so I expect a big sister chat with Bobo to happen soon. The way Paula and Bobo greeted each other was very sincere and "friend" like, so maybe everyone is making a big deal out of nothing. But for sure Raquel won't be very understanding about this "friendship."
Did Fer really believe Katia when she told him she lied about her and Bruno being novios and sleeping together? Hmm...He really needs to learn how to detect her lies. She really had some nerve getting all huffy about him looking through her cell phone call list when she had just spent the day hacking into his computer and reading through all his e-mails. She deserves the heartbreak that is surely coming her way with Bruno.
Oh, and whoever the guy is at the FCC who had the job of censoring Sorti this week was at it again last night. It was apparently too risque to show an over the bed, full body shot of Alex rolling over on top of MJ as they kiss. That guy must have a really crappy love life.

Thanks everybody. Thanks Vivi for filling in on that. I didn't get any of it. I think my brain was tired. I see that I left out the part out about Bruno and abogodo. I must have deleted it when I was copying and pasting somehow. If someone could summarize that it would be great. It was kind of a boring episode.
Connie- I loved your lines about Cuko. Lol! He seems to have the run of the house now. Maybe he's the one everyone should be worried about trying to take over, and not that other dog Bruno. ;-)

Correction to what I said earlier- Alex doesn't need to be out of the country indefinitely, just the month or so until the divorce becomes final and his assets are "safely" in MJ's hands. Then he can return to Merida and they can resume their clandestine booty call relationship, which is now starting to look pretty good compared to this NY plan.
I can't remember the Bruno/lawyer conversation. Sorry Connie.

I was watching on Youtube this week so maybe I got my episodes mixed up on the abogado/Bruno conversation. I had recapped the first part of the episode and then realized I was on tonight's episode! What a dork I am.

What Katia was looking at was the email and photos that.Ferdumbo was sending to the judge who married Bruno and MJ.
That judge told Ferdumbo in a past episode by email he was on a very long trip taking pictures.
Ferdumbo was lying to him about being a photographer saying he would like to join him one day.
Katia after reading the email knew it was a lie about Ferdumbo being a photographer.When she tried to tell Bruno this he brushed her off thinking she wasn't telling him something important.
What Katia was looking at was the email and photos that.Ferdumbo was sending to the judge who married Bruno and MJ.

No problem Connie, I loved how Cuco was sitting in Alex's car when he was leaving.
I thought the purpose of Alex seeing MJ at night was for everyone to believe that they were getting a divorce and separating. I don't understand why he stayed over into the following morning.
When Roberto or Raquel could have seen him leaving.
Enjoyed the smack of the bitter cow that was long over due too.
She and Bruno still believe if they get more inheritance that have a say about who they can fire at the house.
That's Alex's house i guess it still hasn't penetrated their entitlement fogged brains. Antonio gave them each their own house.
Raquel already sold hers to keep up her lifestyle. Bruno still has his. The big house belongs to Alex, he needs to throw them both out for good now. Well he's already done that with Bruno.

Oh Connie, this was TOO funny! the "go to hell wearing gasoline underpants" had me LOLing at my desk here at work. Ah, it's good to be back.
The replay of Alex & MJ's love scene showed a some side boob that the censors missed. Ooo la la.
Still trying to get my head around the plot line...this may take a few episodios, especially since I don't know the characters yet but seems to be following the typical TN trajectory. Lies & lust all around!

Why does Chucho keep lying to Alex has he not learn from his past lie.
Having Meche and Gabriel testify that Bruno paid them to lie about Paula running him over. Would prove Bruno is capable of doing anything illegal to get his way.
Remember one of his lawyers already told him. He can't have done anything illegal, no judge would believe anything he had say concerning the case. They would all know how low he would stoop by doing something illegal.

Sure he wants to get "the info" but frankly, in this TN, who doesn't?
Oh, and writers, thank you again for the unnecessary, but fully appreciated, Alex towel scene last night. It was perfectly positioned during a Fringe commercial. Mucho, mucho gracias.

Thanks for a well done recap, Connie. It was not disjointed in the least to me (the only thing disjointed for me is my own understanding of much of the dialogue in some scenes; DH doesn't like captions so I sometimes struggle to comprehend).

The Bruno - abogado conversation took place in the lawyer's office. Sorry, it looked more like a daily paper, insurance claim or call center than attorney offices, but then, I haven't been in a big partnership's office. It sounded more like filler, going over what they already had to take the case forward and what Alex may have up his sleeve.
The conversation between Fer and Vic (I'm still rooting for them), was that each apologized for their sharp words the night before. Fer says she's a free woman and can associate with whomever she wants. Vic says she thinks they'd better go back to things the way they were before between them, but she doesn't want to lose HIM as a friend. That's when Fer replies that he will be there for her whenever she calls.
elna June - on Katia, I agree with you. She's a 30-year-old woman playing a 17-year-old. It's been awhile since she was 17, regardless of Estrada's brilliant directing. Something is wrong with Katia blindly doing Bruno's bidding without reciprication--she should be getting showered with teddy bears, lunches, mall trips, meeting in the park (a la Paloma/Emil in ENDA), holding hands, hanging all over each other, lots of PDA. But, there aren't a whole lot of characters who have access to both Bruno to feed him info and the Alex/Fer Dynamic Duo to find out what's going on. I think Bruno had an aha moment and realizes that Katia is a loose cannon. She's not liking having to deny their relationship, even though she did it.
BTW--Have we ever seen Bruno's house? When I first started watching, he had a room in the manse.
Vivi--for the uncensored version, do we go to the url you gave us yesterday and have it show up on the list of related tubes?
I really like Mari (Mary in the credits). I like the fact that this TN has people in it who look like me, not in the starring roles, but in positive roles where they are not made fun of or look ridiculous.

The reason why they have a hammock in Chucho/Pedro's place is that they now have four people, including one woman, in a two bedroom place.
And Gabriel wanted to go to his therapy even though they could be seen by someone. This probably means they will be seen by someone.
Bruno hadn't known Katia was underage, and now that he does, he told her a) she should deny everything, and b) the two of them have to keep apart for now. Katia then denied it to Fernando, but I don't think he bought this denial.
I don't understand a few things.
1) If the fight over the will was going to take 2-3 years, now how come it's apparently going to come to some kind of conclusion in one week?
2) Why does Alex have to be divorced from MJ before he gives her all the money?
3) What happened to MJ's scar (someone asked this yesterday), but it wasn't too apparent in the shot of her back.
4) Why doesn't Alex dry himself off before walking around in a towel answering phones?

Hombre--Bruno must have lost count of Katia's age. In our first scene with her, didn't she say to Vic how she appreciated her loving attention when she lost her parents? Obviously she was in the house a lot--Alex and Fer have been friends for a long time. There MUST have been some birthday parties along the way. Maybe the difference between 17 and 18 isn't very great in his mind.
On Alex--You're a guy, come on, Wet looks shiny and sleek and reflects the light. How better to appreciate the male musculature (if that's even a word).

The money that MJ is receiving is money from a divorce settlement and has nothing to do with a will or a will proceeding. They have to be divorced before the settlement can be in MJ's hands. That is why they want the divorce to be finaly before the will contest is decided. Alex will no longer own the money/property/whatever and Bruno won't be able to touch it.

Connie, thanks for the recap chocked full of goodies. My favorite line is ""Of Courssssse we are Noviosss," hissed the snake," so apropo with Bruno's interest in the wooden snake in the beginning, his "Satan" mentality and the way hisses when he talks at times, very, very good.

I never remember actually seeing his house. Do remember the dreadful bedroom of his at the manse. The bed even smelled stale, dusty and unwashed from my living room couch. He has had to move around since Alex has thrown him out twice (once early on Alex paid him the $500gs to leave town and the vice-presidency).

In the blog undercurrent, who is cuter FC or William, those white pants count for a lot....Don't get me wrong, I'm still on the fence, but that "carrying MJ into the ocean"scene is going to be hard to beat!!!
William hands down for me FC does do anything for me. Nice body and great smile though.

I don't think we did either. It was just mentioned at the beginning I think. It looks like it might be more of a vacation house than anything becuase he always spent his time at the Casa. FC is ruggedly handsome and WL is rakishly handsome if that makes sense. Both handsome but in different ways.
Well, I have a solution...I'll take FC and my single daughter can have Sr Levy. It would be FUN to be his mother-in-law.

Let further expand my FC comment. FC is drop dead gorgeous but he's does nothing for me period. The same as Brad Pitt who William gets compared too. He's handsome also but he does nothing for me.

Loved the recap Connie. I think Chucho should've told Alex about Meche and Gab. Once Bruno finds out, I have a feeling something bad will happen. The storm clouds are looming and I'm just waiting for that other shoe to drop on our lovebirds. I'm also wondering when will we see the appearance of Sandra soon. We know its inevitable. So everyone is asking "Where in the world is Alex?" LOL. Does Alex look good in a towel or what. I'm getting a little tired of the crying though. We all know MJ is worried about the plan and so am I. Let's see what today's show has in store for us.

Thank you for the recap and I love the vision of Bruno's underpants literraly on fire.
As talented and handsome as FC is, he also does nothing for me. Especially since I think he might have botoxed his face to death during MES. I'm not sure but his face looked totally devoid of emotion.

Connie: Re white pants vs. black pants. I don't think Alex has ever had to worry about toner, ink or even food on his white pants. The worst he would have to worry about is lipstick. Sorry, my mind is in the same place as elna junes.

Chucho's faces at Mari were really funny, and out of character if you ask me. You could tell that Mari was weirded out. I'll bet none of that was in the script.
I totally missed the part about Ale going to NYC. I thought he was going to climb the balcony & visit MJ every night. No wonder they were all so upset about him leaving. NYC is a looong way.

FC knocks my socks off, he is the one for me. A little less cougarish than it would be for WL. And I wouldn't want WL for my hija either, nothing but a broken heart there. But he's my #2 lech material.

Thanks, Connie. Well, it's crying time again. I think that I was weepier than usual when I was pregnant , and Hub came home every night. Poor MJ is in for more tears before the happily ever after. The FC versus WL question reminds me of those Twilight teeshirts that read either ''Team Edwin'' or ''Team Jacob.'' I am casting my vote for FC [and Team Jacob] because I like my novela galans and my young werewolves to be tall, dark, buff, sweet ,and handsome. WL is doing an excellent acting job in this novela , and he's very sexy ,but I prefer FC. To continue, I will add Big Ed Yanez and Marcelo Cordoba [Roberto o o ] to my Christmas gift list because when it comes to fantasies , you don't have to choose just one .

Couldn't resist adding my two cents to this most important discussion of FC vs WL! Just not an apples- to- apples comparison....
You've got a 10 years age difference and such different looks- blond, light eyes light skin vs dark dark! etc.
I, personally, am SO influenced by the roles they play.
Sometimes you don't realize that extent to which the characters they play (sensitive, loving, generous, manly,etc) influence the way you see them physically. I mean they both have ridiculously attractive bods. I was not the least bit attracted to WL in Pasion (other than when he did love scene) and yet I am totally entranced with him in SORTI.
