REVISED Corazón Salvaje FRI 2010-07-16 Summary and Discussion

Episode 105

We have an opening for the Friday recapper, to anyone interested. Many thanks to Sarah for the very helpful and entertaining recaps she has written for us!

Here is a summary of events from Friday's episode -- just the three-hour tour. Dr. Pablo has to amputate and cauterize Remigio's left arm after the shark attack. Phillip and the girlz close the casino early to take Lulu to apologize to Remigio.

Leonarda worries about Juan's possible testimony and mentions to Renato that Aimee left the house that evening. He muddies Aimee's plans for a romantic baby-making evening by furiously demanding her whereabouts earlier; she lies that they just went for a walk in town.

Remigio's not very happy to be alive missing an arm, despite Pablo's encouragement. The boyz decide not to tell Juan about Remigio or María del Rosario on top of his legal problems right now.

Noel and Renato both show up at the notary office to check on Regina alone there, and Noel overhears Renato demanding to know if the person who met Juan in his cell was actually a woman. Regina won't tell him, and neither will she admit it to Noel when he returns after eavesdropping; but he's sure it was Aimee anyway.

Aimee explains to Celia that she married Renato trying to forget about Juan, but she's unable to forget him -- and that now both Juan and Renato are in love with Regina.

The boyz think Phillip and the girlz have a lot of nerve showing up at Pablo's, and Gabriel finally admits they are not bad people -- but can't see Remigio anyway because of his condition. The casino trio are devastated to learn of Remigio's accident, especially Lulu.

Leonarda and Noel argue about Aimee's guilt in the family problems; and when he warns her that Juan's testimony may implicate her, Leonarda anxiously asks what he knows -- to which he replies he knows nothing that Leonarda doesn't already know.

Noel then braces Aimee with the news he knows she went to visit Juan and tells her she's playing with fire. She tries to deny it, but he cuts her off cold. He's interested in his son; she'd better watch what she's doing and protect his honor unless she wants Noel to take action against her.

A shaken Rodrigo reveals that he thinks he saw María del Rosario in the town square, her face looking full of sadness and suffering; and he's very upset. Leonarda tries to remind him she's dead and he's imagining it; but he vows that face will follow him the rest of his life. Privately she's furious that Arcadio lied to her and wonders where María del Rosario could be.

María del Rosario is back at Jacinta's. The boyz appear and inform Clemencia et al of Remigio's accident and that they don't plan to tell Juan anything until after his trial.

A tearful Lulu tries to apologize to Remigio, but he wonders that she'd think he'd believe her and sends her away. All it does it upset both of them again.

Back at the casino, Fifi dismays Phillip by informing him she's leaving and going back home, intending to ask her parents' forgiveness. She's sure their troubles are caused by Rodrigo and thinks it might be wise to avoid any further trouble.

Lulu decides to leave the business, too, and try to find a job as a cook or a housekeeper -- anything to prove to Remigio she's sincere.

Next morning, Renato has been up all night with law books preparing to face Juan in court. At the notary office, Regina is struck with fear to hear the morning bells and to know -- even if Juan will never be hers -- that his judgment is near.

Back at the finca while Renato bathes, (perhaps with Noel's threats in mind) Aimee helps him and tries to dissuade Renato from attending the trial; but he wants justice for Regina. When Aimee accuses him of being sorry he married Aimee and not Regina -- and that he doesn't love her anymore -- Renato says she doesn't understanding anything.

He just wants Regina to have whatever life remains to her. He shouts for Aimee to get out, and as she leaves, she thinks privately that if he wants war he can have it! Renato throws a wet towel at the door closing behind her departing back.

Finally, the guards bring a bucket of water for Juan to clean up in before his trial. Quite a contrast between his bath and Aimee bathing Renato. Juan shows the guard his clean hands and face with an evil grimace, and they escort him out of the cell and down the hall: game on!

I am confused as to what is Juan specifically being accused of and formally charged with at his trial. Also, is it only Renato that has brought these charges? Roderigo also? A civil or criminal trial? I would appreciate any clarification of this. Gracias

I would appreciate any clarification of what specifically Juan is being accused and formally charged with at his trial. Also is it only Renato that has placed charges against Juan? I realize Juan took the Luzbel back by force, but never understood why it was taken from him in the first place. Gracias for any input

I'm not really sure what he is being charged with either. Whatever it is, it was obviously trumped up and probably spreading money around helped Rodrigo and Renato's persuasion in getting him arrested. I felt so sad seeing Remegio hurt like that, I would not of let Lulu in to see him if I had been his friend. I still can't believe Regina not spilling the dirt on Aimee being at the jail. I would of yelled it from the rooftop and let Aimee deal with her own mess that she makes.

OK Lulu, you've been told by Gabe & the Gang that:

Remigio fell off a cliff

Remigio's arm was used as a teething ring by the sharks

Doctorcito had to chop Remigio's arm off

and that Remigio REALLY doesn't want to see anyone right now, much less you, and you STILL insist on busting in there pleading your case?

Aimee just can't understand why everbody loves Reggie. Even Noel shut her behind down.

Thank you, Jeri!

Anon:

1. his Robin Hood games (piracy, robbery)
2. for being a pain in the collective ass of the Montes de Locas :)
And it will be a criminal trial.

And here's the summary:
link
(I'll repost it again at Sarah's recap.)

as far as I can understand, all the piracy, conspiracy and resisting arrest charges against Juan that Don Noel had gotten dropped, Renato went and bribed the officials to reopen them again and to add on abduction charges (because of Regina). And all this because Renato read Regi's private diary and now he has became obsessed with vengeful rage against Juan and getting Regi back with him. It doesn't matter that he's married to Aimee and that he forced Juan and Regi to marry in a shotgun wedding that he arranged.

Rod didn't come up with this plot twist but he is loving every minute of it.

Jody :)

I can't do this recap, from now on I won't be able to volunteer here anymore, thank you for the opportunity to do so and all the great comments I received over my caps.

Thanks Sarah for doing the recaps when you could. Uni moving the show to midnight is a inconvenience so I appreciate the fact that you continued to recap for as long as you were able. I'm glad Noel confronted Aimee about seeing Juan at the prison. As usual, she tried to lie her way out of it but Noel wasn't having it. I was grimacing as Dr. Pablo amputated Remi's arms. Lulu wants to make it up to him but her timing stinks. So the trial starts Monday. This should be a very interesting week for sure.

I meant arm. Singular. Typos.

So we are now into the últimas semanas. I'll hate to see this show end, but I hate having to remember to record it even more!
There isn't anything to replace it at this abominable time is there?

Many thanks to Sarah for the very helpful and entertaining recaps she has written for us. :-)

We have an opening for a Friday recapper, for anyone interested.

I have revised my original post to include a summary of events from Friday's episode -- just the three-hour tour.

Jeri, thanks for this summary. Sarah, thanks for your past recaps.
Hating Renato's selfish manuverings and hoping Juan can keep himself in control.
La Paloma

Thank you Sarah for hanging in as long as you could and all your wonderful recaps.

Thank you Jeri for the quick '3 hour tour' of Friday's episode.

Jody :)

So sorry to hear you won't be recapping any more Sarah. Your recaps are hilarious. We appreciate all the time you were able to give us.

Thanks for the summary Jeri. Bummer about Remi's arm. I've missed so many of the actual episodes that I might have to buy the DVD. The recaps are great though. At least they keep me up-to-date.

Sarah: Thanks for all the wonderful recaps and sense of humor you've shared with us. Hope you'll be back for a different novela!

Jeri: Thanks for the 3 hr. tour. It was everything boiled down to its essence and excellent.

Can't wait for that trial!

Thanks, Jeri. Thanks, also, to Sarah for your recaps. I'm just back from vacation in Quebec, and I'm happy that caraycaray is here to help me catch up on the show. I tried to watch my recordings of the last few episodes last night when we got home, but I fell asleep. Traveling by air has become a real hassle. Our plane ride was only about an hour , but add several hours waiting at the airport to that plus the half hour ride to the longterm parking lot. I think that the rest of the summer will be mostly a ''staycation'' right here at Casa Mad Bess. The heat continues here. I'll have to remember this long heatwave we've been having this winter when I'm shoveling snow.

Just wanted to say "THANKS" to all the recappers. You do a great service to some of us who are unable to watch Corazon Salveje, especially since univision decided to move it to that horrific time slot. I always loved you're funny recaps Sarah and will miss them.

Thanks so much for the recap Jeri - it was pretty complete. I hate to have to say this but I am going to have to stop recapping as well. My life is just too busy and it has been stressing me out - it takes about 4 hours every time. I'm sorry to say this on top of Sarah also stopping. Jody and I were trading, though, so she has the next 2 Mondays. It will be the 2 after that, that need a recapper. I,too, thank you for the opportunity, it has been fun to try my hand at it.

Ivy

Ivy and Sarah, huge thank you for recapping, we enjoyed your summaries very much. Also huge thanks to Jody for making the next two Mondays and to Jeri for writing the quick recap for previous Friday.

Thank you Sara for your recap. I'm sorry you and Ivy are resigning your duties as recapers. Since this is almost over I can volunteer for Friday nights. But I can't post until Saturday or Sunday. I record all the episodes and catch up on the weekend. I'm so hapy is almost over because I'm watching also stud. I only watch on at a time but since Uni double cross us with changing the time for cs and I could not pass a FC novela I'm stuck with both novelas for the time being. So if no body else volunteers I'll do Friday.

Thank you Jeri, for the summary. You cleared many things up for me.

Sarah, we will miss you :(

Wow. Leo is a real piece of work. She's angry that Arcadio lied to her saying MdR was dead, but sees nothing wrong with keeping MdR a prisoner and tormenting her for decades. I think the shark that nearly ate Remi needs to eat her.

Sounds like Aimless is planning something against Renato. Give it up girl, you're not that bright. Leave now while you still have the clothes on your back.

...she'd better watch what she's doing and protect his honor unless she wants Noel to take action against her. What can Noel do to her? Is there something legally he can do to 'remove' her from the family and the finca? Or would this threat really be cluing Renato in on her whereabouts earlier that night?

Okay, Jody will do episode 106 and 111 (thanks, dear), therefore we need someone to recap 116, 121, 126 and 131. But discussion pages also will be good enough for us. :))
Fridays: 110, 115, 120, 125, 130 and 135. If nobody else volunteers I could do episode 125 and 130 since they're huge favourites of mine and I've seen them many times. But I'm still not a native English speaker therefore... err... I should rather pass the opportunity to someone else.

Hallelujah, thank you very much for volunteering, Sue! :)

Ivy, thanks so much for your contributions! We will miss them.

Sue, thank you for volunteering for Fridays! :-)

xlntperuvian, I really didn't know what Noel meant either; yours sounds as good as I can come up with.
