Corazón Salvaje WED 2010-07-28: I told the witch doctor you didn't love me true; she said to Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang Walla walla, bing bang

Episode 113

In a secluded corner of the town garden, after Gabriel asks Jimena on bended knee to marry him, she pulls him back to her and wonders if he's sure it doesn't matter that he's white and she's a gypsy. It doesn't, Gabriel answers. Holding her face and looking into her eyes, Gabriel tells Jimena he loves her for the way she is and for the way he is with her; for the countless, small unforgettable moments that made him understand her, care about her and love her. He loves her so much, and he's willing to face the whole world to be with her.

With a look of wonder, Jimena answers that she loves Gabriel; that when she's with him she's not afraid of anything. Gabriel returns to the red rose he put in her hand and pulls a sparkling diamond ring from its petals, and Jimena agrees with all her heart to marry him. Winding her arms around his neck, they embrace and seal it with a kiss. Gabriel slips the ring on Jimena's finger, and they vow their love to each other.

At the honeymoon cottage, Regina is just bringing Juan some tea and kisses when they hear Clemencia and María del Rosario returning, laughing and chatting. Juan gets a chuckle out of startling his mother with a Boo! as she enters; and she enjoys it, too. Juan can't get enough of hugging his mom as they all greet each other.

María del Rosario relates how walking around the port brought back so many memories, especially of his father. When Juan asks if they saw anyone they recognized, she coyly wonders who they would have seen. Clemencia exits to return to the notary office, but María del Rosario says she wants to spend all the possible time she can with them and remains.

A very solicitous Juan seats his mother to coax her into eating the soup Regina's been working on all morning, and María del Rosario is pleasantly surprised Regina knows how to cook, since she herself never learned. Regina explains Clemencia taught her; the soup is good, and María del Rosario jokes that Regina can get married now.

Rodrigo seeks Aimee out in her rooms, but finds Celia, who fills him in on the argument yesterday where Aimee told off Leonarda. Aimee arrives and gives Celia the boot. Turns out Rodrigo needs a shoulder to cry on over seeing María del Rosario, but Aimee's got no time or inclination for it. She's got her own fish to fry.

He's begging her to listen to his worries, but her aggravation over Renato is all she can think of. Rodrigo says it's her own fault -- and his own for spoiling her as a child. When he admits he should have punished her disobedience, Aimee turns to him smartly and bites out that perhaps he should have!

In a short, sweet scene at the cottage, Juan rests his head in his mother's lap and looks blissfully happy as she reads love poetry aloud while Regina looks on. Back in Aimee's room, Rodrigo is mulling over the fact that Aimee should have had a stricter education. He takes her by the shoulders and begins to say that now she's going to be a mother -- when Aimee interrupts him.

And if the child is never born? she asks. Confused, Rodrigo wonders if she might tamper with her child's life; but a sudden suspicion impels him to ask if she would dare to invent...? Aimee interrupts him again, insisting it was just an innocent comment.

At Raul's, Mariela's dad insists to her that they are leaving Veracruz that weekend. When Mariela objects, he assures her she'll soon forget about Jimena; but Mariela denies it. She'll never forget her, and it has no effect on the love for her "daughter"; but she's going to give up fighting the move.

The doorbell rings, and Lulu goes to greet Noel. He enters and tells Alberto he has an urgent matter to discuss. Meanwhile at Dr. Pablo's, Clemencia has stopped by there to tearfully consult him about breaking her promise to María del Rosario not to reveal her terminal condition to Juan.

Remigio, who is listening at the door, overhears that Clemencia wants her to see the doctor without arousing suspicion. When Remigio enters and suggests they say María del Rosario is coming to visit him, Dr. Pablo agrees it is a good idea. Out on the beach, Regina, Juan and his mother gather sea shells and gleefully romp in the surf.

Back at Raul's, Noel admits that he has no proof yet, but says he suspects that Salma is not their granddaughter, much to Alberto's surprise. In the bedroom, Salma looks sad and wistful, doubtless thinking of Branko, not far away.

Consequently, when Mariela enters to inform her they're leaving on the weekend, instead of enthusiasm, Mariela is confused to encounter a decided lack of it from Salma. Salma meekly agrees and claims she has a headache and would like to rest. Mariela moves to touch her, but oddly pulls back.

Alberto doesn't understand, and Noel reiterates that he has no proof; but that Salma would be in it for the money and that she was being manipulated by Griselda -- whom Jimena insists that Salma actually barely knows. Alberto can't stomach the thought of the missing-granddaughter nightmare beginning all over again and dreads Mariela finding out; but Noel assures him they must not speak of it, rather wait in town a short time to observe and discover the truth.

At the notary office, Phillip is dressed in a nice suit and dives into righting what he thinks is a big mess of law books and papers, just putting things on shelves and in cabinets wherever there is space. Clemencia enters and is horrified that Phillip shows no regard for the order they should be stored; but in a nice twist, she actually intends to help him, and he's bursting with gratitude.

In her rooms, Aimee plans for Celia to take her right away that night to see Kuma, the witch doctor Celia recommended earlier. At the honeymoon cottage, Juan and Regina get some time alone in their bedroom in the twilight. They stand together; his strong, brown hands hold and caress her while his lips trace the line of her shoulder to under her ear; and they both smile with pleasure before joining in a kiss.

Under a stormy night sky, Aimee and Celia duck into a dark, crowded little hut with bubbling cauldrons, where a spider crawls, an owl hoots, a raven caws -- and they are startled to find a small, shrouded figure ensconced in the middle of it all. Aimee begins to give instructions, but the witch doctor takes orders from no one, she says.

In the cottage, Juan and Regina make love again and declare their devotion. Juan tells her she's his whole life, and Regina assures him no one will ever separate them. Honey gold in candlelight, their bare bodies covered only by long, blond tresses, linens and each other, they clearly dance the age-old rhythm of the joining, rising and falling.

Alone in his bed at the townhouse, Rodrigo suffers through one horrifying nightmare of María del Rosario after another, moaning and rolling in pain. He remembers the terrible suffering he willingly caused her, Leonarda reporting her dead, and the shock of seeing her that day on the street, alive and defiant. Rodrigo half awakens and repeats in delirium that he must find María del Rosario. Must find her, must find her...

In her hut, the little witch doctor knows why Aimee is there; that she's concerned about the baby she's not carrying. And the woman gives her a potion that will make the man of her choice her slave. A few drops will do it; and be careful, because too much will kill him, she warns. When the witch doctor bids Aimee come near her cauldron, she reads in it punishment and tears for the Montes de Oca; but especially blood! Blood and death for the Montes de Oca.

Servando waits in the darkness outside Eloísa's dressmaker's house for Eloísa and Federico to appear, which they presently do -- together, in a farewell embrace, leaving no doubt they had a tryst. Not to mention they both look supremely satisfied. When in a moment the dressmaker also appears, Servando steps out and bids her not be frightened; he has a nice business proposition for her.

Meanwhile, Aimee and Celia return to the farm, where Aimee goes about in the dark, carefully dropping minute amounts of the potion into all of Renato's cognac bottles. At Fulgencio's, a chirpy Eloísa returns home to a glum husband, claiming she had a very entertaining night out; but Fulgencio did not, he says. When he explains that he's been bored since the casino closed, she happily offers to host card parties for his friends there at home, which he thinks might be a good idea.

In the cottage bedroom, Regina and Juan linger before sleep, talking. He says he's less good at pretty speeches, having spent most of his life fighting or just surviving; but now that all that is behind them, he has a chance to thank Regina for how wonderful she's been with his mother -- even if it is just for a little while.

He wants to thank her for showing him what love is, because he was really afraid he was never going to experience it. He's grateful that her love changed him and saved his life. And not only that, he chuckles, but what she said at the trial did, too! They both laugh; and taking her by the chin, he observes that she was very brave.

He admits he did wonder if she had sent a warning to Renato, which Regina vehemently denies. She would never do that, she insists. He should know her heart belongs to him, she says; and he does know, Juan says with a smile. He found that out during her testimony; only a woman in love could defend him so intensely.

She agrees but says he needn't thank her: everything she said is the truth. She means so much to him; so much! Juan says. Never leave him, he asks; and she won't. She loves Juan de Dios, Regina says; and Juan calls her his princess, as he gathers her in his arms again.

Next morning, Rodrigo attempts to go out about town, but instead keeps encountering face after face that all look horrifyingly like María del Rosario. At the finca, Aimee pours Renato a glass of potion-laced cognac just as he's descending the staircase to go out. Amazingly, he is not in the mood for a drink and starts to exit when she stops him and prods him about how nice it must be to do whatever he wants without explanations.

When he warns her not to provoke him into saying things she'll be sorry to hear, Aimee shoots back that she can say nasty things, too. He stops and throws his briefcase down, complaining that she's so different than when they got married. Now we see her real personality, he says. Why did she fake a love she never had? Why did she make herself out to be such an innocent, weak, little girl, Renato asks, mockingly.

You're just a tramp, he adds. At this, Aimee hauls off and smacks him hard with her fan; but he doesn't care. He just draws back and smacks her with his open palm across the face. What I'm never going to forgive, he yells, either you or myself, is that you set a trap -- and I fell into it! You can have my position, my name and my fortune; but not my love.

In the plaza, Rodrigo's hallucinations continue; he sees María del Rosario in every face -- and now they are closing in on him and surrounding him. There's no escape, and he falls to the ground, clutching his heart. Back at the finca, Aimee holds her stricken face as Renato tells her he's not concerned about her anymore. Not only does he not love her, he says, but he doesn't care what happens to her.

As Renato exits, Aimee heads back to the cognac decanter, laughing; as if she cared what happened to him either! Little man! she snorts. Pulling the vial of strong, dangerous potion from its hiding place in the cleavage between her breasts, she upends it and splashes the entire contents into the cognac, turning it blood red.

Good morning. :-) Even though the screen cap comes from Univision, the recap was written from the Canal de las Estrellas (presumably) uncut version. I can recommend it. :-)

Here are Aribeth's video recaps, while she is on vacation:

Episode 113

This...

...and this.

Thanks to Aribeth! These are posted from someone in Brazil, so I'm thinking they are uncut.

Jeri, thank you for the recap, and thank you for tagging things for me. for some reason it doesn't work for me. I saw this episode last night. The air conditioner in my house decided to stop working and it was really hot. I couldn’t sleep. So I said wtf let watch the episode tonight. I think it is very irresponsible of Aimee pouring the poison in the cognac bottles. We all know that Renato is the resident’s drunk, but someone else can drink out of those bottles, i.e. her father. But we all know Aimee only thinks of Aimee. I wonder if this is the end for Rod. I hope not. It is too easy. How does MDR know she has a terminal illness when the doc has not diagnosed her? I thought maybe Dr Pablo had told her while she was under his care. It seems he doesn’t know anything about her illness. Juan and Reggie should enjoy the good moments while they last. What is it with the service in these TN. They can’t keep their mouth shut. Here is Celia and in STUD is Lumi. I wonder if we’ll see more of Orca. Leo has been talking about him lately. Would that be a prelude for him to come back? Jimena’s abuelos are getting on my nerves. They just want so desperately to see their daughter happy that they can’t see anything else.

Thanks, Jeri. Wow. That recap was like a mini romance novel. Ahhh, sweet mystery of life at last I've found you !!!! Write your name across my heart; I want you to be my baby. Great job, Jeri. Juan and Reggie are great together...real chemistry happening there. The scene in the surf with all of them playing and happy was bittersweet because we all know that MdR is soon going to fly away with Juan Sr. to that big ocean in the sky...happy at lase ..and forever. That scene at the local bruja's hut reminded me of Alborada when Luis's weird wife buys a love potion to mix in Luis's favorite vino so that he will fulfill his marital duties to her.

I haven't seen this from last night yet, but wanted to say thanks Jeri for the recap. I will be back later today after I have seen the episode. Also was away yesterday but thanks go to Kat for a great recap. I also was aggravated at Uni for cutting the Juan/Regina love scene. For heaven sakes people it was on at midnight anyway. Guess I will have to hunt it up on utube and hope it is still there. Anyway loved the scene and certainly hope that Juan doesn't fall for that faked annulment thing. Hope to be back later today after I see last nights show.

Oh Jeri. That picture. What bliss -what happiness! You always pick the perfect shot!

Now, onto the recap.

Deeply sighing Diana

Lynda, use Aribeth's links I posted. :-)

Sue, no A/C! You deserve a medal or something; we are having a hot, muggy summer up here. I also feel sure Aimee is going to poison someone else besides Renato. I have not seen the end of the show, but I have a funny feeling Renato makes it to the end.

mad bess, glad you enjoy it. :-) Lately, I've been ripping through a romance a day. This show has got my glands so irritated!

So did you all feel like you were getting the love scene uncut? Those two were clearly baby making.

Jeri, great pic and recap! How touching that Juan got to create such memories with MDR. The beach scene was like watching what his lost childhood should of been. I don't go for Renato slapping Aimee in the face as she is supposedly the mother of his unborn innocent child. Although dumbass hasn't figured out that pregnant women should get bigger and Aimee looks as thin as ever, he should of given her a spanking for the childish display of temper that she frequently shows. Aimee and Leo are really 2 of a kind, as they both have an obsession for 1 man and will go to deadly lengths to get him. Thanks angel from Brasil for video link!

Jeri, Susanlynn said it perfectly: "That recap was like a mini romance novel". Indeed it was! In addition to beautifully capturing all the chemistry, longing and love between Juan and Regina, you also left happy, indelible imprints of Juan's joyous (and hopefully not too short) time with his mother: "Juan rests his head in his mother's lap and looks blissfully happy as she reads love poetry aloud while Regina looks on". I could have watched the 3 of them frolicking on the beach for hours. I thought this may have been (for the most part) one of the happiest shows to date...

Jeri, I believe Mariela and Jimena used to show their affection by touching hands, palms together. She started to hold her hand out to Salma in a similar manner. I believe she pulled away because it was reflective of her relationship with Jimena, not Salma. I also think in her head, she wants to believe wholeheartedly that Salma is her daughter. But, her heart isn't quite there yet (and with good reason).

I am really enjoying Phillipe's adventures in job hunting. Am hoping Clemencia will help him so that perhaps he can be a part of Noel's staff. Would there ever be a better boss???

I liked Rod seeing MdR everywhere! Am also enjoying Leonarda's worry that Rod will finally realize she kept him from MdR all of these years! I don't think the knowledge that she killed Connie will turn him against him as her subterfuge against MdR.

Aimee is getting mighty cocky, isn't she? As she has absolutely no one who cares about her, she may want to rethink that and quickly.

I can't criticize Alberto - he has been living for his daughter and doing everything possible to find her child. I don't blame him for being upset hearing Salma may be an imposter. It's been a terrible, emotional rollar coaster for them for years. Wish they'd hurry up and figure everything out. Hoping that Jimena's remembering the candy apple will come into play soon.

Sue, I think MdR may just started to cough up blood but I may be wrong. I am sure Aracdio will make an appearance soon - just wondering who the target(s) will be!

Diana

terrylee, yeah...Renato's no hero for slapping Aimee. :-(

Diana, Juan is so happy. I was torn between that picture and one of his head in his mother's lap.

EY put the perfect look on Juan's face in the scene with his mother. I don't even know how to describe it; he did it better than can be described.

I remarked on Mariela's hesitation as odd only as a cue, because it's clear her intuition is increasingly giving her signals against Salma. Mariela's character runs off intuition.

It would be so good if Phillip can settle down and work with Noel; you are so right! What a boss. It'd be great to be around him all day. I'm going to post something I found out about Mexican notaries; different than here in the US.

Sue, yes; María del Rosario found a blood spot on her hanky, which is the classic sign of "consumption" (tuberculosis). It was a death sentence back then.

But I am hoping Dr. Pablo has heard of the new dry-air treatment that will help tubercular sufferers. The very fact that Clemencia has decided to bring her to the doctor is hopeful, IMO.

Was that the primary care bruja from MEPS?

I just thought of the word for the look on Juan's face: peace.

Here's a page I found about Mexican Notary Publics, which Noel Vidal is one.

Mexican Notary Public

And part of the text:

In Mexico, the notary public (notario público) is a public official appointed by the State Governor. He has the capacity to attest and certify documents and business and legal transactions that require authenticity. He also provides for strict security of original records and documents.

Some of the requirements for becoming a Mexican notary public are as follows:

* must be a Mexican citizen;
* must by thirty-five years of age;
* have a law degree;
* three years experience working in a notary public office;
* must take and pass an examination and
* if he passes, in time the governor will give him an appointment.

There is supposed to be one notary for each 30,000 people.

In Mexico, every legal document, such as deeds, wills, powers of attorney, constitution of corporations, establishment of trusts and other legal transactions must be made before a notary public in order to be valid. If the document is not notarized by a Mexican notary public it is not legal!

Terrylee, do we know how "far along" Aimee is supposed to be? I agree that in the "real world" the fact that she is not showing at all would certainly have been noticed. But, her "pregnancy" has been unenthusiastically received, particularly by Renato, who is ambivalent at best.

Jeri, thank you for the interesting information on notaries. I imagine most notaries having even a fraction of the business tens of thousands must generate would keep them very busy! Another good reason for Noel to hire Phillip! :)

Diana

Jeri, thanks for the amazing recap. I found it to be even steamier than the episode with your eloquently written scenes.

Aimee toss me your fan! ;)

Thank you for all your time and effort in to the extra info you provide.

Thank you Kat also for the vocab. you provide over and above the witty recap.

I am amazed and so appreciative of all the recappers.

Really Aimee toss me the fan!!!

Bernadette

Awesome recap Jeri. Uni cut the love scene again. After seeing the unedited version, I can see why Uni hit the censor button. That was hot. That bed was rockin big time LOL. I think Regina even outdid her sister in the passion department. Juan brought that out of her. I love it. I especially loved this line from the recap: "In the cottage, Juan and Regina make love again and declare their devotion. Juan tells her she's his whole life, and Regina assures him no one will ever separate them. Honey gold in candlelight, their bare bodies covered only by long, blond tresses, linens and each other, they clearly dance the age-old rhythm of the joining, rising and falling." Beautiful description. So is Aimee trying to kill Renato since she poured the whole potion into the bottle? Glad Clemenica is helping Phillipe so he doesn't get fired from yet another job. The engagement scene with Gabe and Jimena was very sweet. Looks like Servando is going to set up Eloisa and Fed with the dressmaker's help. MdR is haunting Rod in his sleep and everywhere he goes. Looks as though he may have croaked this time when he collapsed to the ground. Regina should know when you say never that the anvil is hanging overhead waiting to fall faster than the roadrunner can chirp, "beep beep." Looking forward to tonight's show.

That scene of Juan, MdR, and Regina frolicking on the beach was very bittersweet and especially the music that was used. I couldn't help but to tear up knowing that MdR isn't long for this world. I think MdR knew she was sick for a while because while she was kept prisoner in the dungeon, she would cough occasionally. That was probably when she first became sick. Not a spoiler. Just a guess.

"So is Aimee trying to kill Renato since she poured the whole potion into the bottle?"

Well, with Regina's marriage to Juan "annulled" and Renato dead, Aimee can swoop in and have the Juan, Juan's ca$h AND Renato's ca$h. Or so she thinks.

Rod has just realized what a selfish, narcisstic biotch his beloved daughter Aimee is. Even with his mistreatment of Regina, if he came to her right now and told her about his troubles, she would listen and be there for him.

"Juan rests his head in his mother's lap and looks blissfully happy as she reads love poetry aloud while Regina looks on". That was a beautiful scene and well acted. Juan had a look of utter contentment on his face.

Jeri, thanks as always for the recap!

I am completely aggravated that Renato slapped Aimee. I know that she slapped him first, but doesn't he remember that she is "pregnant" with his baby? And moreover that a gentleman doesn't put his hands on a lady, no matter the circumstances? Now, from Leo or Clemencia, that's a whole other story! Hope to still see that!

First we were never going to see Juan and Reggie consummate the marriage, now they can barely stop touching each other :) Oh, and did anyone else think it was a bit awkward when MdR was readng the poetry and Juan and Reggie sloppy kissed right in front of her?

I really like Gabe and Jimena together; they make a lovely, lovely couple. When he pulled the ring out from the rose bud it was too sweet!

Finally, how can Renato not notice that the cognac in the decanter looks red like cough syrup, not honey brown as it should be? Especially if Aimee leaves the glass she originally poured for him beside it? I know Aimee wants to kill him but she shouldn't have put all of the potion into that one bottle, but like before spread more into the different decanters he has laying about the house. I think either Renato is going to see that something is off or someone else will mistakenly drink the poisonous cognac.

once again, I can't wait until tonight!

Marisol

Oh, well! Everybody should try to find the uncut love scene.

Click on Aribeth's links in the second post above.

They did have it rocking, Pirate Babe! Thanks.

Jeri, wonderful recap! Very poetic, you capture the moments so well.

Marisol, I thought Juan and Regina's kiss in front of MdR was really sweet. It was like they were carried away by the poem she was reading. They both looked a bit embarrassed afterward.

Can someone tell me how the witch doctor came into the story? I know Celia suggested something "dark" a few episodes ago but I didn't know what it was.

Aimless is really playing with fire if she's dabbling in witchery and the occult. Very bad juju to fool around with the dark side... but I can't say it surprises me. Just like Leo, Aimless is capable of anything.

I get the feeling that Salma is about to expose her own lies. She's clearly on the edge, all she needs is a little push...

Can't wait to see Eloisa and Fed get theirs. She is a nasty little piece of work. Him too. Of course Fulgencio is no angel and he's got an anvil coming as well.

When will MdR tell someone about Constanza's letter? I keep waiting for it. Maybe she wants to tell Rod in front everyone. She'll expose Leo and kill Rod at the same time. MdR's revenge!

Regarding the duties of a Notario, if Renato left to file the fake annulment papers, he would have to file them with Noel, right? He can't think that Noel would believe those documents are real.

Jeri, thanks for reminding me about Aribeth's links. Went there and now my computer is steaming. Might have to shut it down for a while.

Really enjoyed Juan, Regina, and Mom playing in the surf and gathering seashells. Loved them all sitting around reading together.

Hope Jimena gets with her real parents soon and Salma gets what is coming to her. Would love to see Noel happy before this is over. I would like to see this actor in another show.

And can't wait for Leonarda to really suffer. I want Rod to have a worse ending than a heart attack.

Jeri, what a poetic, lyrically written recap. It made me really sorry I couldn't keep awake long enough to watch it. Sounds like I missed some exciting stuff, like Rod's hallucinations.
La Paloma

As everyone already mentioned, the beach scene was so endearing - EY has good chemistry with both actresses.

Sad that MDR has tb, but I am happy that Juan was able to spend some time with her. He can at least have those memories and MDR was able to see the man her son became.

I thought that Red's trip to the bruja was to get get something to make Retonto want to do "the do" with her. I missed that she wanted to poison him.

This was a great recap, BTW. Loved the title - that was going through my head while I watched this episodio, lol.

Jeri thanks so much for the recap. Posting late and most have covered the best parts of last night. Eagerly awaiting tonight!

That recap was pure poetry, Jeri! If I wasn't sitting right in front of a fan already, I'd've had to go for one.

I'm loving these 'happy-family' scenes of Reggie, Juan, and MdR. I thought the way Reggie suddenly realized she'd been making out with Juan in his mom's lap and drew back all shy-like was adorable. I'm crossing my fingers that MdR will somehow be able to hold on a while longer.

You notice how no one seems inclined to help Rod when he keels over in the street? That's twice now.

I also wonder who Aimee's going to end up getting with the poisoned cognac. Having Renato fall for it would be too easy. I actually kind of enjoyed seeing him take a hand to her - she's just too horrible for me to feel sorry for, fake-pregnant or not. I still think the most suitable punishment for those two is going to be to be stuck together forever. Maybe if they somehow lose everything, Juan can kindly offer them his little hut of sticks.

I got all sniffly watching Gabe and Jimena. I was questioning yesterday why he hadn't brought her a ring; it never occurred to me he might have hidden it in the rose!

Thanks Jeri for the recap--you do indeed have a way with words. And thanks to all other recappers I forget to thank.

A couple of funny items at the start of the love scene. Juan couldn't really get the door closed. They tried to hide it, but you could see it partly open. Not that it much matters with those stick doors with big gaps!

Also, did Juan ask Regina if she was feeling hot (as in temperature), like that was an excuse to take her clothes off? LOL

Anon: Juan did ask her if she was hot, and she giggled a "kinda" in respone - definitely cute

Okay, help me out everyone. I've seen the recording of last night, but haven't looked at it with the CC to catch the words. When MDR and Clemencia gave back to the cabana, did MDR ask what Juan and Regina had been doing? I ask because the way they both kinda blushed and quickly said nada leads me to believe they didn't want to confess to MDR that they had been making sweet love while they were gone. And by the way, from the first night to the second night, Regina certainly has learned a lot about love making. Me thinks there were some additional trips down lover's lane between the two nights. Just saying.....

I'm glad everyone enjoyed the recap! :-) Thanks for much for commenting; it was a good episode.

Jeri- Checking in late, but wanted to say that I loved the recap. I also loved all the tender scenes between Reggie, Juan and MdR, and Gabe & Jimena. Yes indeed, Reggie is a quick learner. :)

Anon 4:25- I think Aimee's original intent was to get Renato to do the deed with her, but then after their argument and his slap she decided to poison him and that's when she dumped all the contents in the decanter.

Jeri, you're a very talented writer. Thank you very much for the recap - I know that sitting in front of the computer gives you a headache, but you keep writing awesome mini novels. Kudos.

I knew, I knew, I knew that you would use this screencap!!! :)))))

Yes, this episode was lovely, heartwarming, bittersweet and hot. It's one of my favourites.
