El Clon, Fri., August 20 - Disaster strikes the recapper

This is an unbelievable nightmare. I just spent 2 hours typing the recap. Safari crashed while I was uploading the pictures and it is ALL GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess Blogger doesn't automatically save drafts when you are editing a post as opposed to composing one. I'll have to do the whole thing over but I can't face it tonight.

Thanks for the photo, Jean. And not to worry about the delayed summary.

One thing I'm glad about is that Jade dumping him hasn't meant the end of Zein. I could look at Tiberio Cruz's gorgeous face for hours. And he's playing a reasonable man. He sees Lucas as a rival and doesn't like him much, but he's not obsessive like Said. He won't help him win Jade, but he's not going to be violent toward Lucas.

Zein let's Lucas know that he won't give up Jade without a fight and Lucas looks at him dead in his eyes and tells him that it won't be easy, i'm still the man and Jade and I "WILL" end up together.

Thanks Jean, hope you have a great visit.
And thanks for the photo: I just want to watch Zein's lips as he says "Te repuuudio..."

Jean,
What an awful experience for you! I find it dispiriting to lose even ten minutes of typing so I create and save in Word first. Is it possible for you to do that in future, then add photos in your usual way? Anyway, much sympathy!

Wow, Jean, what a nightmare! I can really appreciate it, since it has happened to me as well. But (knock on wood) not since I started using a marvellous Firefox add-on called Lazarus. If I type anything in Firefox and it goes into the misty purple, all I have to do is click on the little Lazarus icon, find the piece I'm looking for, and click on Recover. I can't count the number of times it has saved me. I don't know whether Safari has addons nor whether Lazarus is available for Safari. You might look into it.

How incredibly frustrating for you, Jean! Take your time!

Gosh, Jean, I feel so bad for you. Hope others can advise you on how to keep it from happening again. One thing is for sure, one's rewrite is never as brilliant as one's first draft that gets lost. As a long time writer (once upon a time), I know this to be one of the strongest truths in the world! Lois
