El Clon, Wed., October 20 - Summary for Discussion
Labels: clon
Also, Zein was waiting for Said's response and then at the "Home trial" Said was given 2 more months and where has Zein been all this time? Not that Jade would have gone for it, but still!
How have the zombies gone on for 6, 7, 10, 12 months using to these extremes without ODing and with parents still defending, protecting and HOUSING them?
How does Malicia intend to snag Leo with so little time left in the novela?
Is it me, or are the writers in such a hurry to wrap things up that the plot has gotten supersloppy? Maybe it's me....
1. As was suggested earlier, Nati didn't really lose the baby way back when. The doctor should be sued for malpractice;
2. The episode that was preemented by the rescue of the Chilean miners. Telemundo has not made the gran final 2 hours so maybe they have just edited out some crucial stuff that would explain what is going on.
There are always logical inconsistencies in a time jump. Other's people's lives just go on hold, or
3. The plot has gotten super sloppy as we head toward the end.
I hope the housekeeper, Marina, is getting combat pay from the Ferrers. I know I was afraid for her when Nati threatened her with yet another 'blunt object'!
As you say Jean, the lawyers seem unhappily surprised by Leo's testimony. I wonder what they expected him to say. What explanation was he supposed to offer for the fact that Daniel and Lucas are genetically identical? Reincarnación? El milagro de los ricos?
Why do the Ferrers leave large blunt objects around their house knowing Nati's proclivities? I thought maybe Nati would try an bean Alej with that big rock or whatever it was she had.
I wondered why the judge didn't make any comment about the fact that Lucas' and Daniel's DNA were identical. But I guess he doesn't know the parties. Without knowing that Lucas is 20 years older than Daniel, identical DNA would only mean that they are twins. When Leo started babbling about clones, the judge certainly showed some interest. Incidentally, this actor also played a judge on La Traición.
I love the Naz. She has always been my favorite character. I was delighted to see her offer to fetch Jade clothes. Her reasoning was terrific. She knows how unhappy the Wicked Stepmother has made Jadiya. I hope they find a husband for her before this over.

I assumed the judge had birthdates for both Lucas and Daniel. But yeah, you're right. If all he had was the identical DNA, the obvious conclusion would be that Lucas and Daniel are twins.
I also thought about Natalia-proofing the house. Imagine the family using plastic knives, shoes that close with velcro... and yet I
can see the increasingly aggressive Zombie Princess trying to smother Rosa with a pillow. Hmm, maybe that's not such a good example. :)
Naz's reaction to getting Jades clothes ect. was a wonderful surprise. The reaction, tonight of all the people at Said's house may make up for all the druggie scenes.
I will be sad that this program is ending because the summaries and comments are often more interesting than the show.

So let me get this straight the Dr. said Nati miscarried and she actually didn't? Whether she did or not shouldn't they have still taken her to hospital like i was yelling at that to get her checked up?
So were never going to see the episodes we missed or was this novela already like this?
Since this novela is about cloning and collecting someone's DNA illegally without their consent. Let's say the baby Karla has is actaully Roberto's wouldn't he still have legal grounds to sue her, her mother and her cousin for plotting like they did to collect his DNA to reproduce this child?
I'm loving the Naz more and more it's possible the writers might be sending the Naz to go to Said's house to see how awful Rania is as a step mother to Jadiya either making Said to recognize he might have to let Jadiya live with her mother or get rid of Rania once and for all.
I'm getting my popcorn ready for the Cris and Malicia showdown or should i say throw down there's no way she's going to allow that nasty devious skank to try and steal her Leo after all she's gone through to get him.
Somebody posted on You Tube episodes of La Traición when it was broadcast in Israel. There was one episode where many bits of scenes were cut, including an 8 minute scene that explained the name that the character played by Dánna Garcia gave her baby. Comparing it line by line was very interesting.
As for the Nati pregnancy i have to admit it's got me stumped is the baby Alej's or some anonymous male she slept with running the streets to to get her next fix for her drug habit?I fin it kind of baffling they wrote it like this when the end is so near.
I'm with you, BluSam, I'm getting my popcorn ready for the Big Showdown between Alicia and Cris. My guess is that our home-town girl Cris is a match for anyone.
I don't know what happened to the episode that aired the night of the Chilean Mine Rescue, God bless them all.
We on the West Coast did not El Clon that night, but I read the recap, and the next night they played what must have played on the East Coast the night before. Oh well, guess we fill in the blanks however seems best, it can't be any more confusing than what the writers have already given us...
Joan
Is anyone going to tune in to Aurora? Stars the cutie policman from Donde Esta Elisa.
Meanwhile, Go Naz! Lois
As for Nati constantly threatening to bean people with heavy objects, I think someone needs to at least threaten back with a heavier one and maybe she'd shut her pie-hole for once. Jus' sayin'..... Everyone lets her walk all over them.
As for the pregnancy, the last time she actually came to speak with Alej, they went inside and up to his room to talk. I figured then, as they'd made up for the umpteenth time, that they'd done the deed then though we never saw what happened between them. Thay might explain the baby she's having now.
On the other hand, Mad Men just closed out the season, the current season on Project Runway is coming to a close... so who knows? :)
