Jardinera, Wow that was great, you got everything. I still don't get why all the screen time suddenly for Giergio. That was strange. Kind of fun in an odd novela sense.

I think Julio just bit off alot more than he can chew. Marcella is not one to confront.

Two steps forward for Daniel and one giant leap off the cliff. Not a wise choice for him either to let Victoria stay. And off course just when Eva gets her witts about her to go and see him.

Interesting about Georgio. I wondered if his crying meltdown the other day was leading to something, and this is it. They're jumpstarting his storyline a little late, but it's interesting! I thought it was funny that we were apparently supposed to be surprised that he was gay; all the way through the Marisol scene, I was thinking, "This is weird! He's gay! Why is he here?"

I thought it was pretty obvious from the start that was gay—I had assumed he was fully out with everyone. Oh well, this is one of those interesting telenovela things. Wondering how it'll pan out. He may end up being a good ally later on in the Eva-Daniel vs. Marcela-Icky thing.

I agree Karen, why did Don Julio tip his hand so soon? I think it's too easy for him to meet his demise, but how is this going to work out?

Oh yeah, we can see that Danny, who was doing SO WELL up until now, is falling into the idiotic trap set by Icky. Ugh!

Tomorrow should be interesting!
 

yes i am disgusted with Dano. What a jerk, will never see how he is being manipulated. And how dangerous to have this nut case aroung his young daughter

I saw in the promo icky with a self satisfied smirk on her face and little Laurita looking shocked at seeing her there

When dano looked in gun,, was there ammo in it? I didn;t get that part

As for Giorgio, I guess we could know, but he didn't want to face it. That will be his saving grace IMNSHO. Perhaps this friendship with Mari could blossom into an AC AC/ACDC sort of revelation, but I doubt it.

The gun must have been loaded, tho' I don't remember. I do remember that Dan made a big deal about keeping it away from her after he checked it.

Don Julio may not be smart enough to figure out how dangerous his wife really is before she offs him also! However, he's got to get Eva legitimately involved in the world of advertising somehow I would think before he goes to meet his maker.

a couple things I remember that might come up tonight or not...
Jackie asked Fran if he could cover up for her (picking Laurita from school to take her to dance class, etc) the next day (I think this is directly related to the previews we saw last night)... and Dano found the gun was loaded with emmo since he shouted to her 'this is full of bullets!! You are totally crazy!!' He also called her an IDIOT (granted, he was turning and walking away from her but he did!!) which blew my mind.

BTW folks, Eva will be 2 hrs long tonight and tomorrow, 1 hr thursday and of course no Eva on friday due to the new years eve programming.
 

I think Julio told Marce that he thought he knew how far she could go but now she had built a new standard for herself in his mind, a monster who would attempt even against their own child's life.

Also, in one of her threats to Dano, V-icky mentioned Laurita which really alarmed Dano... (again, this might have to do with tonight's episode's previews which lead us to believe Laurita caught Dano and V=icky in bed and decided to run away, leaving a note for Dano.
 

Jardinera, thanks for summarizing this really frustrating episode. I had some hope there for a bit with Dano, then he goes stupid and lets Icky stay.

With those previews of Laurita running away, if that doesn't slap some sense into him, I give up. How's Icky going to fight that one now?

Don J - methinks you should have kept silencio for awhile. More than likely we will be watching Marci figuring out ways to finally off the poor guy. (Far better than her with Bruno - sorry that just creeps me out).

daisynjay: Nice photo! Which is yours --or are they fraternal twins? Hubby's mother lived in Lakewood, OH and graduated from H.S. there!
 

Jardinera: Those are my guys, fraternal twins (thanks the lord they weren't identical!!)

I've been in the Cleveland area for over 25 years now, but I moved to Lakewood when the boys were in 7th grade, mainly so they could go to LHS. Great school!!! Love this town (not nuts about Cleveland, but love my Lakewood).

And what was Dano thinking letting Ick-toria stay in his room last night. That whole mess with Marisol and Georgio was just stupid, b/c we all knew he was gay. So why waste our time with that big tada sorry but I gay drama. Previews look good for tonight, may be this will be a wake up call for Dano and Eva to get there heads out of their butts.Michele in PA
 

Jardinera et al--Great work. I think it is so interesting that we are now seriously discussing the previews of coming attractions. They always seem better than when the real thing comes all stretched out.

I was interested in Eva's look at the breakfast table when V-icky announced that she feels so much better since she spent the night with Dano. So we know she's back. And what about Leo's red shirt! Never seen one in quite that hue on a tn guy.

The gun thing didn't go off (pardon the pun) the way we all wanted it to. Too bad it didn't nick Dan--that should have been enough to tell him that she's a loca and shouldn't be around his child. I didn't catch what she said about Laurita either. I thought he started out making sense telling V-icky she needed to see a doctor, not him.

I couldn't believe that Dano wouldn't have taken Icky-Vicky to a guest room. I mean, that house is huge. He could have been the one to offer to sit with her while she slept. Couldn't believe he would have gone off to take a shower, either. He was already in bed for heaven's sakes. Once he let her stay, his big mistake was to close the door and not ask Jacky and Fran to come in and out with tea, water, pillows, etc.

Oh, BTW, DonJu told Marcie he wasn't going to wait a minute longer. He would be in contact with his licenciado in the morning to serve her with the divorce papers. Like that worked the last time he gave her divorce papers to sign.

Marcella will have to work quickly if she wants him out of the way--he can't be reckoned with any longer. But, I agree with the others, he needs to live long enough to find out Vick's parentage and maybe that Eva is his child (as some have surmised) and get her installed in the empresa.

Here's my last comment--Eva's being two-timed by Dano. I just saw him with another knockout girl, long brunette hair, in a red cocktail dress, having dinner with him, while he's wooing her, touching her chin gently and then getting up to dance and sway seductively to an unseen orchestra.

It was deja vu all over again--in Heridas de Amor. I got it for Christmas and started to watch it right away. Hmm, That Guy really knows how to work his magic on any girl, in this case, Jacqueline Bracamontes.

Thank goodness for CarayCaray. the DVD is heavily edited and the resume on the box and Wikipedia is so thin, that I'm now reading the recaps and the comments in CarayCaray. It makes so much more sense and I'm following it perfectly, and fun, too. It's a bleepin shame they cut out their very early naked in the water scene between them.

Two hours of Eva tonight and tomorrow--Yaaay!

I think during last night's ep Vicky said at some point in her argument with Dano in his bedroom that he cared more about Laurita than about her (which got Dano concerned about Laurita) and in the previews Vicky is telling someone (I take it this is after he lets them know Laurita left the house) that she would not mind if Laurita dissappeared for good

Others have already said just about everything I was thinking--e.g., what a mistake Dano made letting Icky stay overnight in his room, and how reckless Don Julio was in confronting Marcella and especially in telling her that he was going to talk to his lawyer about divorce proceedings the next day. And this AFTER he recognized that the medicine had been making him worse and that Marcella admitted that she was capable of anything to get what she wanted. Duh....

BTW, I'm not sure but I think Icky was trying to make Dano understand how awful she felt at losing him, and to bring the point home she said something about "imagine how you'd feel if you lost Laurita." That definitely got Dano's attention. He was furious at her for making such a comparison. Hmmm...

Tonight's two hours should be interesting.

BTW, my capcha word is "blesting," an interesting combination of blessing and blasting. Seems somehow quite appropriate for this TN.

Arghh! So this mistake of Daniel's! I was groaning because we all know that this will take at least three months to sort out, just when things were going so well. Oh well "asi es la vida" I should know better than to think things will just swim along.

I was kind of surprised by the Giorgio storyline too...he seemed to be an out gay character to me, swooning after Bruno at the office, trying to pick up our lolipop boy outside the mansion (yeah, almost creepy) not to mention being the main helper with the wedding planning! ;) So I guess we were to beleive that he was just coming out?...with a stripper-hooker? OK.

But his alliance with Marisol will surely be good in the end.

I'm a little afraid for Don Julio's life, though by now we know that he absolutely has Marcela's number and knows that she has been trying to poison him. I think he will stay with us and continue to regain his strength and become more and more central.

I think we will see him back in a suit entering the office like Jesus driving out the money changers from the temple. With Eva in tow!
 

I remembered something I saw in the Justa/Eva conversation over the ice cream...
Justa told Eva that if 'that girl' (referring to Bim-Butt) was her daughter (and we hear some drum roll as if this is supposed to be caught and stored in memory for later) she would have gotten her some proffessional help.
BTW, my husband was watching with me last night and he commented on BimButt's derriere and said the same thing that we have said all along, that she has those giant size cushion butt-enhancer undergarments because it looks SOOOO fake!
