Caray, Caray!

Daniel and Eva are toasting to her abduction (secuestro.) They are all smiles and in love. He tells her he has another surprise for her.



From this happy scene we quickly go to the chaos at the Arsmendi house where everyone is freaking out over the fainting of Renata. I was really surprised at both Leo and Victoria’s concern. He’s yelling to call an ambulance and Victoria is yelling to get a Dr. Marcella has a better idea. She tells Victoria to run to the kitchen to get a bottle of alcohol. (What?)



We still don’t get to find out what Dan’s surprise is, because now we go to the pension, where Ricardo is knocking on Justas’s door as he hears her crying. She dries her tears and answers it.

And that’s how it is tonight, back and forth as we go back to our happy couple. Eva still all smiles wants to know what the surprise is. He tells her she has to wait. He tells her he is crazy in love with her and by the look in her eyes he can tell she loves him too. He asks her what she thinks and she tells him smiling, she thinks the supper is burning. Dan rushes to the stove to check it out.

Justa has opened the door and is telling Ricardo that she ran into her past today and it was really painful for her. She doesn’t know how to deal with it. Ricardo encourages her to tell him as he wants to be a part of her life.

Now I figured out what the alcohol was all about, it was a bottle of rubbing alcohol and Leo is waving it in front of Renata’s nose. She finally comes too and asks what happened. Leo tells her she fainted and asks her how she feels. She weakly answers fine. Marcella doesn’t believe this and tells her some things up. Renata denies this and says it is just tension and fatigue. Marcella tells her nobody faints because of tension. Renata tells her again it was nothing. Leo suggest she go lay down. Renata tells them she is okay. Even Victoria is showing a compassionate side as she tells her tomorrow she should go see a Dr. She tells Victoria she will but for now she will go get the supper. Even Marcella shows a little compassion as she tells Renata she doesn’t have to serve them tonight. Our stalwart maid of iron assures everyone one final time she is fine and goes off to the kitchen.

Ricardo tells Justa he is really concerned about her. She thanks him for his concern. He tells her he cares for her and admires her. She replies she knows this but doesn’t want to talk about what is going on. Her mind is blocked from so much pain. (Okay let’s not dwell)

Renata has returned to the table with supper. Victoria suddenly stands and says she lost her appetite because everyone at the table knows at this moment Daniel is with Eva. Marcella demands she stop being so stupid and tells her to come sit back down. She tells her “You need to stay and behave!! (comportas) This is a family and even though the world is falling down on us we will stand together. Do you understand?” Leo smarts off telling her how poetic she is and she snarls at him and tells him to watch his tongue and grabbing his glass from him tells him to stop drinking so much. He continues offering a toast and says “ So us Arismendis will stand together in good times and bad.” Marcella says “Yes. We have gone through worse moments and have always sailed free from them. It is important that we are together.” Victoria tells her “No mama, we are not all together Daniel is missing.”

Daniel is busy with more important things as he brings Eva a plate of lasagna (or something like that.) She asks him if he is nervous. He tells her yes, because if he is a bad cook she might not want to be is wife. She asks him if Jacky helped. He tells her a little. “She gave me the recipe, told me how to put it together, took over and stirred the pot and scolded me for putting in too much pepper.” He gives her a bite and asks her how he did. Eva makes a little face as Dan looks on nervously. He asks if it is really bad, she starts to fake him out then laughs and tells him smiling “The truth is I am going to ask Jacky for the recipe.” Then he says “ So than you are going to accept to being my wife?” she asks if he really wants to marry again. He tells her she has no idea how much.



Okay, lets get this nonsense over with. Tony is in his room. Alicia knocks on the door. She tells him she went to see Carlos on her own. They yell at each other. She is mad at him because he lied about Carlos. He is all mad but I don’t know why. There is more later on where she slaps him and calls him a liar. She even tells him something like she regretted turning down Carlos as a boyfriend. She leaves all angry. (Good enough? Or do you want more? Well, too bad.)

Best part of the night so far. We are back with the Arismendis. Marcella is asking Victoria if she really thinks that stupid Eva is going to get to stay with “her fiancé.” Victoria tells her yes because right now she is with him. Marcella tells her this is probably just his final little adventure before he gets married because after this he will certainly come back to her. Leo tells her he agrees with Marcella. Supper is surprisingly interrupted by a very low voice as Julio dressed in his finest blue suit approaches the table and says “ How marvelous to have the family all together to celebrate my return.” Eyes were popping out all over the place!!!











Victoria quickly gets up and goes over to Julio and cheerfully tells him what a surprise as she puts an arm around him. Marcella growls and asks what’s happened to bring him out of his cellar (cueva). He simply tells her “It is time. Don‘t you think?” Marcella tells him he is sick and besides with the death of his dog he should be quite depressed. Julio tells her “the death of Max is what has made me leave my prison (encierro) to return to my place in this house and with my family.” Leo asks if he plans on eating with them. Marcella tells him no, his father is not well enough and tells Julio he shouldn’t be there. Julio interrupts and says “But I am here Marcella and I have to thank my dear Max for this.” as he gives a glance towards Victoria.



He is now shouting for Renata as Marcella tells him she isn’t feeling well. She shows up anyway and Julio tells her to bring a bottle of champagne because tonight the Arismendis are going to celebrate. Leo stands up and tells Julio he thinks that is a great idea and pulls his chair out for him. He looks at Leo and says “If I remember right my seat in this house is this one.” as he points his cane towards where Marcella is sitting.


He tells her he believes that is the place that befits him. Marcella relinquishes her chair and walks over to him leading him to his chair saying “This is your place.” He rightfully sits down as everyone else takes their place.

Victoria is sitting hanged dogged at the table and this does not go unnoticed by Julio as he asks her if she is feeling okay. He tells her she looks worried about something. Marcella snaps she is just tired. She has had a really rough day. Renata shows up with the champagne and passes the glasses around. Julio lifts his glass and says “ My dear family. Tonight I would like to toast to new times in the Arismendi house. And for more to come. I promise great changes Marcella, and they will come very soon” He looks over at Marcella smiling devilishly and says “ Aren’t you going to celebrate that your dear husband has come back to life?”

This next set of scenes I am going to condense as well. I apologize if there are any Marisol /Giorgio fans out there, but I am just not that into them. He has returned to the stripper club with a gift for her. It turn out
to be some kind of Oscar like statue. He feels she deserves it for all her hard pole dancing. (something like that) He was sincere about it. She leaves for a moment to talk with clients and it even looks like Giorgio might be a bit bothered by this and as he wonders why he would feel like that. She returns and they end up conversing through the rest of the night. She confides to him about her farce with Francisco.

We get similar confession scenes with Francisco who is at the casino trying to win lots of money at the roulette table so he can continue to pretend to be wealthy, pay for the wedding , etc. He confides in one of the cocktail waitresses about his farce with Marisol.. He isn’t having much luck at winning. Each of the two would be millionaires are telling their newly found confidents when asked, what will happen when the truth comes out. They both just hope that the other one will still love them when they find out they have been lying. (Something like that)

We are back with Eva and Daniel. He wants to know why she gets a little crazy everything he talks about marriage. She evades the question and tells him the supper was good. He asks her if she is married and afraid to tell him. She tells him every time he talks about marriage she thinks about Victoria. Daniel tells her not to think about her. She tells him that Victoria came to see her today at the pension. He looks concerned and asks her why. Eva tells him she asked her to forgive her for leaving her in the woods and also asked her to help her with her wedding plans. At this time we get the strangest crazy scene ever as Victoria is laying down on her bed caressing her wedding gown. (This Creeped me out big time)



Daniel tells Eva that Victoria is very ill. He has told her several times that he doesn’t love her and that he isn’t going to marry her. She tells Daniel, she doesn’t want to think about Victoria but she feels bad and she feels responsible. And she worries about Julio. Daniel tells her not to worry about him. He tells her Julio was never in agreement about the engagement. Eva says “But he doesn’t know about us.” Daniel tells her he is sure Julio will understand. She tells him to try and understand that all of this is really hard for her. He tells her it is hard for him as well, but it doesn’t matter because he isn’t going to let anyone interfere with their happiness. Not Victoria, not Julio, not any one. He gives her a sweet kiss and tells her he has another surprise for her.

We go outside and see a blue Chevrolet decked out in a large bow. Daniel reminds her it was the place where she gave him his first slap. Except for the fact that this was one huge car commercial demonstrating all the storage places it has, it was pretty romantic. Eva gets in the drivers seat with Daniel sitting beside her. He prompts her to look in various places in the car revealing long stemmed roses. After she has retrieved three of them he tells her there is one more. She opens the glove box as Daniel stealthy gets out, as we see it is covered with rose pedals and a small red jewelry box. Daniel is now on the other side of the car on bended knees as she opens the box to find one hunkering huge diamond ring.


She takes the ring out as they look at each other longingly.


So if you thought the crazy Victoria scene in the bed with the wedding dress was strange, wait till you read this. She has put the dress on and is wandering about outside having a bit of a Sybil multi- personality break down. It is like crazy evil Victoria is now talking with crazier eviler Victoria. (Is that even possible?) She is rolling around on the ground with a most crazy laugh then suddenly stands up and starts talking to herself. “See Victoria, now you are not going to get married.” Then she looks crazy and says “of course your going to get married. But not to Daniel.” Then starts talking back and forth to herself as if she were two people. It was really creepy. The eviler Victoria was shouting that she is going to marry Daniel. Then she starts talking about getting a black gown for Eva so she can accompany him in his grave.(Or something like that. I was to scared to listen any more.)

Lets find our happy place. It happens to be back at the car where Eva is quite pleased with the ring. Daniel places it on her finger and tells her to get accustomed to it because it is going to be their life from now on. Eva now more somber tells Daniel about the card reading just before she left for Los Angeles. The cards said she would meet a man and she would go from the heavens to hell. My CC’s weren’t working but I think Daniel told her he would go through hell to find her if need be.

That is our cue to go over to the devil himself as we see Leo talking in front of a mirror telling himself he doesn’t have a chance with Eva. He has a flash back about the accident. And says “Sooner or later she will find out I killed her father.” Then he flashes back to when he was at Daniel’s asking about the car. It had already been fixed from the damage although it took a while and was in the garage. Then he says to himself when Eva finds the car at Daniels she will ask about it and discover it was the car..., then he stops and thinks and says to him self “That this car is his (Dan‘s).” And a very evil plan is hatched as Leo smirks to himself.

Daniel is kissing Eva’s hand and asking her to marry him. He wants her to be his wife as soon as possible. Then he says what about the day after tomorrow. Eva looks surprised and he says “In two days we could be happy for ever." He tells her to say yes and Eva smiling at him tells him “I accept my love.” More kisses take place.

Now Leo is all excited about his plan as he is pouring himself a drink. “Leo you are a genius. You didn’t kill Eva’s papa. It was Daniel in his pretty red car. It was him who ran him over. This will destroy her when she finds out. She will hate him forever.

Daniel and Eva are both happy and in love and Daniel tells her in two days when she is his wife he swears she will be very happy. Eva than wonders how they will organize a wedding so fast. Daniel tells her not to worry he will take care of everything. They both continue with their happy thoughts.

Leo is now spread out on his bed telling himself his plan is perfect. “This is what you would call killing two birds with one shot.” (matar dos pajoros de un tiro). “The afternoon that Daniel lent me his car, he had signed his own sentence without knowing it .” And he drinks to Daniel.

Daniel and Eva are still talking, some of it I missed, some of it I just left out because I was getting bored. He tells her that now that there is only two days before they get married it will feel like an eternity. She tells him it will be the same for her. He tells her he doesn’t want any one to interfere with their plans. Then he tells her they should get married in secret. Eva questions this at first and Daniel explains he doesn’t want anyone with thoughts of hate or envy to interfere with their plans. He tells her he would marry her today. Then he smiles and tells her they should go to Las Vegas and get married right away. She tells him it sounds tempting (tentador) but two days will fly by quickly. They argue just a bit but both then agree on two days and swear to each other that no one or nothing will mess up their plans.

As they continue kissing passionately, old Victoria wonders by hiding behind a tree and starts spying on them. More kissing and tender moments are being witnessed by Victoria as she says “I hate them and I am going to kill them.” Just then we see she is holding a gun in her hands. (Holy spit!! Just had to get that out)

We change scenes quickly and see Julio dressed now in his P.J.s He is musing about what his crazy family has been up to while he was holed up. He says “To sit at the same table as them was as bitter (amargado) as if I were as at a funeral.”

This was hilarious. There is a knock on Julio’s door and it is Marcella who has brought his nightly tea. As she looks around Julio asks mischievously “What are you looking for? My medicine?” She tells him yes, Renata told her it was there. He sighs knowingly and says “Listen are you that worried that I won't take it?” She sets the tea on the beds stand and asks him what kind of a question is that. “Of course I am concerned.” He replies “I want you to do me a favor and remind me in the morning to send someone to get another bottle, because I finished the other one.” Marcella looks surprised and asks how? She just got that one. He tells her “well I decided to increase my doses. I wanted to get better quicker Marcellita. I wanted to leave these four walls and be with my family more, like I did tonight.” Marcella tells him in the morning she will get him another bottle and the more medicine he tales the sooner he will be able to leave this place, as she looks around his room thinking she has the upper hand.

She walks over and gives him a pat on the shoulder and a kiss on both cheeks and tells him to sleep well. Julio smiles, knowing he definitely has the upper hand and graciously thanks her. Once she has left he makes a sour face and quickly wipes the kisses from his face.





Victoria has her victims in sight as she aims her pistol only to discover there are no bullets as she curses Leo realizing he had removed them. She leaves upset as our happy couple continue to kiss (and fortunately to live another day).



Leo is now telling himself he has to plan his next move very carefully. His peaceful contemplation is rudely interrupted as our crazy pistol packing jilted bride shows up screaming and waving the gun at him. She is yelling at him for taking her bullets away and ruining her plans. She tells him she is tired of him meddling in her affairs. He looks at her and says “ You are crazy!! Your dressed in yours brides gown and went out in the middle of the night with a pistol in your hand!!!” A struggle ensues as Leo manages to get the gun from her and puts it away. She continues screaming and hitting at him. Leo tells her to calm down and not act so stupidly. He tells her to listen to him carefully. He tells her it won’t be necessary for her to murder anyone. He has come up with a plan to have Eva hate Daniel for ever. She starts to listen intently.

While Daniel and Eva are having more intimate moments Leo tells Victoria that he is certain he has come up with a plan to resolve their problems. Victoria is crying and telling him that she has just saw them together all hugs and kisses. She tells him they both deserve to die. Leo tells her he understands but he has come up with a plan where Eva will hate Daniel forever. Victoria screams she doesn’t believe him. She tells him the only reason he is stalling is because he is interested in Eva. He tells her that’s not true. The only thing he is interested in is to avoid her going to jail for the rest of her life for murder. She calms for a second but then crazies up again saying she can’t stand to see them together. Leo gives her a comforting big brother hug and tells her he understands and to trust him.

Leo now alone is musing to himself saying “So it looks like you are with Eva now. You robbed me badly. You betrayed my sister. But your happiness won’t last long. You will pay. You have no idea in how you will pay!!!”

Back at the pension Eva shares her happy news with Alicia but makes her promise not to tell anyone. She shows her the ring and Alicia wants the whole scoop. She tells her the day after tomorrow they are going to get married. Alicia is ecstatic.

We have dramatic music playing and a shot of Daniel’s kitchen and the camera slowly pans towards the butcher block of knifes. (This can’t be good.)


Now we get a series of flash backs, bad dreams and just plain terror. First Renata is tossing and turning as she remembers her encounter with Justa. She sits up terrified and says Justa can never find out she stole her baby. She can never know she gave the child to Marcella, none the less find out that child is Victoria.

Next Justa is tossing and turning as she dreams (Or remembers) about being at the clinic and told by Renata that her child was still born. Justa tells her this is impossible because she heard her cry. Renata assures her she was born dead. Justa is hysterical and tries to get up only to be held down and sedated. She suddenly shoots up out of sleep and looking around suddenly remembering where the clinic is and the Dr. was Dr. Rivera. That’s where her baby disappeared. She says “that’s the secret of my past.”

Next creepy night terror occurs as we see a bedroom door open with suspenseful music. We pan over to Daniel sleeping peacefully and suddenly see a shadow of someone holding a knife above him. He suddenly starts and shoots up to see crazy Vicky has traded her gun for a knife as she stands next to him with hate in her eyes. (Hope everyone had sweet dreams after that crazy scene)
