Wow i really didn't think Julian would go there but he took it there going after Rodrigo and cut him slightly with his knife on the side of his neck.

Can some one please just call the darn cops for goodness sake my blood pressure just shoots through the roof with nonsense and lack of logic why they don't call the cops.

But i have to admit the showdown was good with Julian threatening Rodrigo to stay away from Matilde and Piedad as Rodrigo taunts him to kill him let's see how you explain your way out of this. hen he brings up Julian's relationship with his mother. Julian just barely manged to get his emotions under control just barely because we all know he wanted to kill him.

He leaves with his gloves on no evidence that he was there Rodrigo did mention him wearing the gloves and he probably used the same method to get in his house like the night he killed Daniela and dumped her body in his bed.

Lola comes home with the good news to tell Yoyita about Matilde moving and she can get a operation to recover.When she sees Pedro Pablo she ask what he is doing here. PP tells her it's his house too.

Lola tells him to go be with his woman meaning Loca Lucia but PP tells her she is not his woman just someone who is expecting his child. he sends Yoyita out so he and Lola can talk.

Lola meanwhile is online looking up something on her computer babbling about her baby and his father. While her mother gives her a dose of reality about how Pedro hasn't even been here to see her and he has his own family with three little girls already and another on the way.

Lola's mentions how she is going to name her son after his father Pedro Pablo but her mother tells her about her actions on destroying a family. She mentions how men abandon women and i believe she said something about Lucia's father because Loca Lucia didn't like this part at all.

Piedad meanwhile is trying to get in contact with Julian and can't get a hold of him.


Rodrigo calls Piedad outside from a payphone as he tries to warn her about what Julian just did.Same old story of Piedad defending Julian and saying that Rodrigo is crazy.

Julian shows up and creepily ask who is she talking too?

Valeria and Camila move her stuff into Rodrigo's place and they both see the place tossed like something major happen and both see the knife with blood on it.

Julian ask Piedad if she's talking to Rodrigo right now and Piedad concern says slowly yes. Rodrigo tries to warn Piedad again but she abruptly cuts him off and hangs up on him.

Valeria ask Camila what could have happened as she looks in all of the rooms for Rodrigo.

Camila reaches down to touch the knife as Valeria comes back out and yells to her not to touch the knife.I have to ask where is Julian getting these knives from did he go out and buy some more? Since he buried the other ones he used to have to do his killing with?

Julian tells Piedad aka braindead that he went to confront Rodrigo over going to see Matilde and he slants the story that Rodrigo went crazy on him. Braindead absolutely laps up this bull and makes us all wonder how she was ever able to become a doctor from her complete idiocy. Julian sings his song and dance about how he's worried how it will effect his son getting his hopes up like this.

He keeps telling Piedad that the operation is not possible for Matilde and Piedad at first argues but tries to calm him down. As Julian mumbles he doesn't want his son to lose his mother like he did and walks away. Braindead looks after him in sympathy.

Rodrigo decides to go see Piedad but can't hail a taxi and decide to run over there.

Valeria is worried something may have happened to Rodrigo as she tells Camila who asked who could have done this?

Valeria response the only person who could have done this is Julian in her surety.Camila looks at her and says that not possible he's normal but Valeria tells Camila no he isn't.

This spooks Camila who wants to call the cops and yes finally someone thinking clearly call the cops. But alas our hopes are dashed because Valeria is worried that this may cause big trouble for Rodrigo and he just got out so she pleads with Camila not to.

Tatiana is with Matilde visiting and talking to her about the good news of her movement of her hand. As Matilde remembers that fateful night at the gas station she starts to cry as Tatiana assumes she is getting emotional over something else.

Valeria tries to call Rodrigo but he left his cell phone on the couch.Valeria doesn't know who to call when she ask Camila about Benja. Camila calls him at the clinic and told him to come over to Rodrigo's place.

Rodrigo shows up at Piedad telling her what just happen and Julian tried to killed him. Braindead refuses to believe him or anything he has to say against Julian.

Braindead extols the virtues of Julian calling marvelous and kind and good person. at this point she goes as far as to tell him she doesn't want him near her or her daughter.

Julia who was still there at her place creeps out and listen i on their conversation and smirks at his latest victory.

At this point Braindead needs to be taken off of life support because she crushes Rodrigo with her words of defense for Julian and telling him he can't be near her or their daughter.

Sue for custody Rodrigo that's all i can say sue the heifer and have her declared unstable mentally.

Tatiana is talking to Matilde's parents who are happy with the surgery that Matilde can have to recover her faculties.they then tell her about how Julian is so against it leaving Tatiana t wonder and ask why as they tell her he's worried about getting Emilio's hopes up and he said she might die from it? But the doctor told us if it doesn't work she'll remain the same.

Tatiana puts in her two cents about what other choice would they make? if they don't have the operation she'll remain like that for the rest of her life do you think she'll want that or to be dead?

Valeria starts to straighten up the mess as Camila ask her what she is doing? she must be a mind reader because i was thinking the same thing.Valeria even goes and gets a plastic bag to pick up the knife that was left on the floor and puts it on the table.

Julian is in the room with Sofia and he remembers what Eva taunted hi with on the day of her birth. Will he kill her too if she ever abandons her kids? He recalls filming her birth and the ghost of Eva asking him if Piedad is next?

He stand s over the baby as the sick creep he is looking down at her as his hands reach for her.

Benja finally arrives to Rodrigo's he ask what the problem is as they both tell him how the house was tossed and they can't reach Rodrigo. They're both scared.

Rodrigo walks the streets numb by taking off life support words she won't allow him to see her or their daughter.

Julian holds Sofia as braindead comes in the room seeing him with her and how happy she is that he's so good with his kids. Julian thinks of course he'll be a father to Sofia to replace Rodrigo in her life.

Rodrigo finally arrives home and lessens the worry of those waiting for him.Rodrigo shows them where Julian cut him with the knife they found on the floor.

Benja of course argues it's not possible as Rodrigo charged up and angry ask him and evryone else present what's it going to take for you to believe me that Julian is in fact "El Cazador"?

He the killer he's the one who set it up that i killed Daniela and he got in the same way today when i got home he was here waiting for me in my home.

Julian is "El Cazador" he is not dead like everyone believes it's Julian.

Still no date when the Gran final will be.

Aeryn i think you said it best no matter how this novela ends i want Rodrigo to end up with whoever as long as it's not Piedad aka braindead. Last night OMG i am so done with her it's not even funny. Even if the writers end it with Rodrigo and her together i'm just going to imagine him at the end telling her no he's moving on and he'll file for custody or joint custody of their daughter.But as for them they are completely over.

Camila did have a girl talk with Valeria about Rodrigo still being in love with braindead and that he'll probably never be able to love anyone else like he does her.

Valeria surprisingly took this well as if saying she can accept this as long as she is with Rodrigo. She did ask Camila if she is really asking her or talking about herself and Benja? Camila says she made a big mistake and that it will never work out between her and Benja because he does love her sister.

Blu, you are so funny! The part where you said Brain dead needs to be taken off of life support made me burst out laughing and It is a little late for me to be doing that! The neighbors will complain.

A couple of things that didn't make sense tonight. Why would Rodrigo run out to talk on a public phone when he has a perfectly working phone at home and a cell phone?

Why is it that not even the taxis want to pick him up? Is it because of his dirty shoes? Have you noticed those shoes he wears? Does he like to play on mud like a piggy or what? They are ridiculously dirty and old! Hey, not even el chavo del ocho shoes are like that! Anyway...I digress

PIEDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDD (that is all I'll say but I do need to vent)

Amaya also knows how to hold a baby. But really, Rodrigo shouldn't be so worried about the killer being near his daughter. He should however PANIC with the way Piedad holds her. If he took a picture he could win the custody case just for that! :p

It seems Sophia doesn't get the creeps from Julian like I thought ;) She was very pleased letting him hold her and opening her big beautiful eyes (She seems very pleased in the arms of CM and Amaya, and who could blame her right?)

Another thing. Rodrigo should get out of that apartment ASAP. It appears to have no security. And if he doesn't do it for his own sake, he should do it for Valeria. In a way I understand this need he has to always go back to the "origin" or the beginning to fix things. Like coming back to Chicago, or trying to make it work with Piedad. It seems to be a pattern of his and maybe a way of facing his demons and confronting them, instead of running away, but he needs to be smarter and more practical in this situation. It gets to a point where one has to face that, going back to beginning is not possible and the only way to survive is to move on (from his apartment, Piedad and even Chicago, except now he is stuck because of Sophia)

Aeryn i don't know what the heck Rodrigo was thinking maybe he felt he needed to speak to brain dead first but i think i remember he pulled out his phone line i think maybe Julian cut it or damaged it.But still he should have searched for his darn cell phone.

The first person he should have called was Luisa show her your apartment and the cut on the side of your darn neck.

I like your pov of Rodrigo going back to or trying to fix things where they were originally. I felt he tried to do that when he came back into Piedad's life in the beginning but he fell off of the wagon and succumbed to his addiction again.

Which happens when someone has a addiction but brain dead wants to keep punishing him.

I can't wait to see Miss Know it all's expression when she finds out the truth that Rodrigo was right about Julian.

He should move out of that apartment because Daniela's body was discovered there in his bed with him. I know i could never sleep peacefully tn a place where i discovered a dead body in my bed right next me.Moving out of Chicago i don't believe is a option because he wants to be close to his daughter.

Cutting and ending it for once and for all with brain dead would be the best thing for him. Eventually she will find fault with him again and try to use their daughter to control him.

What he needs also to say to her is you really need therapy for your issues and your selfishness and dealing with my drug addiction.Anyway i will take you to court over our daughter and get the right to see her by court order whether you like it or not.Now have a good life with the next serial killer who comes along.

Blu - It looks like the start date for La Reina del Sur is Mar 2, and I read somewhere that Alguien te Mira ends around Feb 28. We are already officially in últimos capítulos, so that usually means 2 weeks or thereabouts.

Piedad is driving everyone crazy!!! The more she sees evidence against Julian the more determined she is to ignore it and explain it away. She won't give up on the ideal life she thinks she is creating for her and Sofia.

Braindead is a GREAT NAME for Piedad. I mean - she is really looking like a zombie these days!

I think anyone who was holding out for a Piedad and Rodrigo happy ending gave up on it this week due to Piedad's stubborn blindness and total lack of empathy.

Valeria won't call the cops because she's afraid they'll put Rodrigo back in jail. But I don't understand why Rodrigo didn't call Carvajal and show her the knife and the cut and tell her that Julian broke in and was wearing gloves.

Yeah - I think Julian cut the phone line. I think Rodrigo did try his phone before running out of the apartment.

The previews indicate that Tati may get in big trouble.....

HEREDEROS - FRIDAY

If José is only going after Paula to reveal truths about her, he sure is doing a good job of hiding that from me. He went so far as to tell Beatriz he was interested in someone else. This buys him nothing vis-a-vis the Del Monte household problems.

Julieta definitely picked up on Juan's jealousy when he was reaming out José at the breakfast table. Juan is behaving like there's nothing but air between his ears.

I was laughing out loud at Rosa's surge of hormones upon seeing Jonny doing pushups. At least this may mean the poor guy will be subjected to fewer nasty comments from her while living there.

The scene with Berta teaching him table manners was priceless! And for the first time I almost liked Berta. Learning to eat properly can only be for his own good.

Pedro is just a complete jackass! I was furious when he flat out lied and told her Juan told him he was in love with Paula.

Speaking of Jonny (can't decide whether it has an "h" or not), this is something, Jean, that we kicked around during Doña Bárbara. How is it that barely making it ranch hands have gorgeous, capped, whiter than white teeth?
 

ALGUIEN - FRIDAY

That certainly was a very tense scene in Rodrigo's apartment. At the beginning Julián was like a spiteful child, reviewing Rod's book collection volume by volume before throwing them to the floor.

Wow, Lucía looked crazier than ever last night. If she was delusional before, then this is the height of it. She seems to think PP would leave his daughters (not to mention annoying Lola) behind to move to Indianapolis.

Beyond the fact that the main galán isn't going to die, Rod reminded Julián that he'd be definitely the main suspect if he killed him.

Boy is it annoying how Julián wiggles out of everything! He carefully told Piedad he'd been at Rod's apartment and nearly commited a locura. As usual, he ends up getting sympathy from Piedad and manages to get her completely on his side.

Tatiana was a big disappointment. At first she's delighted that Mathilde may recover, but then, when the doltish parents mention what Julián thinks, she pipes up she'd rather have her friend paralyzed than dead.

This brought up a soul searching on my part. Now my adult son would be a different story. I might go to any lengths to keep him alive. But I thought about close friends that I have. And I concluded that, unless they could somehow convey to me a wish to live on, I'd want to risk their dying if I could give them mobility and the ability to communicate.
 

ALGUIEN – as of Friday

Novelera, Thanks for bringing up the Lucía thread. With her fantasies about moving to Indianapolis (Indianapolis????), we see that the writers have marginalized her. If her kid is really Pedro Pablo’s, the family will deal with that. But Lucía herself has lost her power.

And you make an excellent point about the weighty choice Matilde’s parents have to make.

As for Julián, he has never been so unstable. Although he is still a champion manipulator, especially around weak personalities, his smarmy mask of charm and reason slips unpredictably. (For the first time, we saw him lose control in front of a patient.) And the more unstable he is, the more dangerous he becomes. At first he was motivated by his childhood trauma. We saw him kill his mother over and over again. Now, he would like to set aside the past and live his dream with the woman he has always longed for. But there are three kinds of pressure that are standing in his way.

First, there is the fear of discovery. He is ready to destroy, without hesitation, anyone who threatens to expose him as el cazador. There are so many loose threads and therefore potential victims. The most obvious one is Matilde -- if she is allowed to recover, at least enough to talk. Tatiana also holds a thread – that phone call where Matilde called out Julián’s name. There’s Emilio, too. He knows about the woman in the photo. Then there are Rodrigo and Carvajal, quietly building a case. (Julián doesn’t know that Carvajal is involved and doesn’t know about the planned trip to Dallas – yet!)

Second, there is the blind hatred Julián feels for Rodrigo. Julián knows that Piedad will never love him the way she loved Rodrigo. And even if he strips Rodrigo of his paternal rights, even if he kills him, Rodrigo will always be Sofía’s real father and Piedad’s true love. The only thing that kept him from slitting Rodrigo’s throat last Friday was the certainty of discovery.

And finally, as much as he would like to think he has overcome his original compulsion to kill mothers who neglect their children, his frequent visitors – and now Fabiola and Eva are a tag team in black and pearls – remind us that he has not.

I still think that Jose is mostly looking to expose Paula; he's cold-blooded enough to be able to pull that off. It's really annoying me that Juan is still falling for that succubus.

Pedro is no better than Paula, lying to Julieta as he did. However, unless what we saw in the previews for Monday is part of his dream sequence or hallucination, she has lost most of her IQ.

Rosa is about to turn into Mrs Robinson and the scene with Berta attempting to teach Jonny table manners was a riot. He's even more awkward at it than Oscar was in FELS.


AURORA

This is just past the theoretical midpoint in terms of Telemundo's typical series length, but considering how Elizabeth is out of control it almost feels like they might be looking to end this series soon.

Especially considering that she just murdered Lorenzo. Gustavo should have done something about her a long time ago.

Somebody has to take out Catalina; she is more dangerous than Elizabeth.

I know it was an excuse to display Eugenio Siller -- and he is a pleasure to look at -- but Martin just made the mistake of his life.

I forgot to mention the really scary thing for me: when he was reaching into the basinette and touching Sofía. It seemed as if he would have loved to smother her with his hands. Of course the writers are never going to kill off a baby. But still.

I think he only pretends fondness for Sofía to impress Piedad. His resentment because of her being Rodrigo's child is a stronger feeling.

And now, I gotta hit the road. I plan to attend the 4:30 showing of Biutiful with Javier Bardem.

UrbanAnthropologist - I agree about Jose. He is the pure cinico among the brothers. He is a) trying to keep Paula away from Juan, b) trying to keep Pedro away from Julieta and c) using any trick he can think of to deflect Paula from her plans against his family. I assume he thinks if he can get Paula to fall in love with him, he can control her. Standing up to Juan's ridiculous "hand off Paula" bit is just part of the assignment.

I am really enjoying the actor playing Jose - I think he is very good.

I just about died laughing at all the Johnny scenes. The new family dynamics with Johnny living with the in-laws are just hilarious! And, whoa! - Rosa getting hot when she spies Johnny shirtless doing pushups - wow. Now she can't look at her new son-in-law without fantasizing! LOL! And trying to train Johnny table manners - too funny.

Yeah - it looks a bit odd seeing horses doing dressage steps while herding cattle. Never seen that before - hilarious! Looks like Mario Cimarro is really enjoying his horse.

And Jose's idea of a date was to take Paula rabbit hunting at night!?!? ROTFLOL!!!! But they were successful - I guess Paula did have fun. Kudos to the writers for that tidbit.

Definitely getting more laughs out of this one.

But also some really nice brotherly bonding scenes in this novela - a really lovely touch. The sisters too in the other household - the few sisterly scenes are nice.

I think when Rod found the regular phone was cut by Julian, he rushed out to warn Braindead in person, and forgot his cellphone. This kind of thing happens a lot in novelas, guys rush out without their cellphones, or keys. I happen to keep both in my pocket, but that's just me. I guess I flunk as a potential telenovela character.

I also think Braindead not only said Rod couldn't see her or the baby, but if he came back, she'll seek a court order prohibiting him from getting near them.

I was also disappointed in Tatiana backing up the idea that it's not worth taking a chance that Matilde could die, having her paralyzed is better than not at all. This only makes Matilde's parents' decision harder.

I know that Julian buried all his hunting knives, but the one he used looked like a kitchen knife (such as for cutting grapefruit). Could Braindead notice a knife missing? Guess not, she could never doubt her "perfect" boyfriend.

Yes, Novelera. Camila used Rodrigo's regular phone to call Benja. This is why I thought it strange that Rodrigo had to run out to speak on a payphone :) but It might've been a continuity error.

Okay, I think (not sure, though) I can explain Rod's phone situation. 1) The wires weren't cut on his landline. He just picked up the phone and put it down, deciding mentally that it would be better to rush over to her in person. 2) He rushed out so fast he forgot his cell phone (which was still working, because it rang later, and Camila answered it. So both phones were working, but he just rushed out. One more point, I don't think he mentioned Julian's surgical gloves to anyone, just said Julian found a way to get in the apartment, same as he did when he drugged me and killed Daniela. Of course, even if he mentioned the gloves, who knows if anyone would believe him?

Hombre, I think you're right about the phone situation. Rod rushed out thinking he could save time by calling and making his way over to Piedad at the same time. He didn't realize he didn't have his phone on him (which he appeared to have lost in the struggle on the couch as it was found in the cushions) until he got to the corner where he was about a hail a cab. He patted himself down in frustration and then decided to use the pay phone.

Hombre, the situation you describe makes a lot of sense, and I think I am remembering what Vivi says about him patting himself down looking for his cell phone. Hey, this happens to me all the time (except I look for things that I never have in my purse. Every time one changes purses, something gets misplaced) so I should relate completely :) And yes Hombre, nobody will ever believe Rod. They always look at him like he is crazy, except for Valeria. I hope he talks to Luisa soon and tells her all the details.

Julian talks to Braindead about the operation he agrees to it reluctantly but if the doctor even mentions any type of risk he's calling it off. Braindead is happy upon hearing this and hugs her serial killer as he kisses her she is very non-responsive and looks repulsed by his kiss. You can tell that's really going to a great honeymoon if they get married.

Valeria brings Rodrigo a drink to calm down probably coffe but he gets up angrily and doesn't want as the others try to keep him calm. Benja jumps on his drug addiction saying he acts the same way when he's doing drugs.He ask Valeria not to leave him alone for a minute when he's like that.

Valeria says that he hasn't been doing anything he's clean and goes to check on him as Benja ask Camila if Valeria may have been doing drugs also? Camila says no.

Braindead is lonely holding herself recalling her last conversation with Rodrigo and his accusations against Julian and her defense of Julian to him. She looks at baby Sofia and touches the necklace Rodrigo bought for her and then takes out the one he gave to her and cries. So not sympathetic for this pathetic person.

Julian has a drink is visited by Fabiola's ghost who taunts him about his killing urges and ask who will be next? Matilde perhaps as Julian says she is the mother of his child. Fabiola reminds him all of his women victims were mothers too.

Yoyita comes into Lola room and ask if she misses Pedro Pablo but Lola says no but Yoyita ask her to be honest with herself as Lola maintains that Pedro has made his choice and it's Loca Lucia as far as she is concerned.

Pedro Pablo staying at his hotel room looks at pictures of his family someone's at the door. It's Loca Lucia bringing her special brand of crazy.

Benja is with Camila drinking as he is worried about Rodrigo and he can't believe how he keeps saying that Julian is a killer.

Tatiana is dress to seduce as the maid comes in she tells the maid she is going out on a business appointment making the maid question her at this time of night and dress like that? Tatiana gets snippy and tells just take care of the kids and she'll be back.

Benaj is now drunk as Camila tells him it's time for them to go but she won't let him drive in his condition.

Julian gets a house call it Tatiana visiting with the plans for his wedding. Even Julian questions her why she's showing up at this time of night? Tatiana is like what's wrong since it doesn't seem like Braindead is into to it she thought she would go to him.

Pedro Pablo marches Loca Lucia out of his hotel room and tells her he'll send her home. This upsets Lucia's plans as Pedro calls her mother to let her know Lucia hangs up his cell. Then goes into labor pains or is faking it make your choice.

Tatiana makes disparaging remarks about Braindead to Julian asking him if he's sure he wants to marry her? Julian tells her to cut it out he doesn't want to hear what she thinks nor does he care he's marrying Braindead and that's it. Tatiana talks up what a wonderful guy he is handsome,smart good looking a wonderful father. This flattery goes right to Julian's head as he smiles at hearing this description of him.

Tatiana feels it's being wasted on a person who will never really appreciate Julian for what he is worth.

Benja is bought back to Camila old apartment which she managed some how to get back. Then Benja wants to or tries to put the moves on Camila at first she is resisting and then she kisses him back a little. But finally tells Benja no they can't do this anymore. Benja whines that it's probably is really over between him and Tatiana for good but Camila sticks to her decision and says no.

At Julian's he starts kissing Tatiana and tears up her little piece of a dress quite easily. Probably why that dress was made for situations like this. He takes her into his bedroom and the two go at he chokes her as she hits and beats on him. Let's just call this their own little special foreplay.

Julian is still choking Tatiana as she gets a scared look upon her face and one of regret also. They continue with what adults do together in a situation such as that.

Braindead remembers being with Rodrigo and lying in bed together as she struggles with herself she picks up her phone and calls his house.

Rodrigo is sleeping as Valeria picks up the phone asking who it is? On the other side Braindead hears Valeria's voice and can't believe that Rodrigo isn't at home pining all by himself over her. Valeria keeps asking who is it as Braindead listens and tears form in her eyes. She hangs up the phone and cries to herself over Rodrigo moving on and perhaps finally realizing what she threw away.

Tatiana lies in bed afterward and tells Julian she feels like her sister now. After getting washed up and wearing Julian's shirt she makes some more comments to Julian. especially about him marrying Braindead why do you want to marry a woman who doesn't love you when she is in love with someone else?

This angers Julian who tells her to get out as Tatiana ask what if she tells Julian tells her not to say anything to anyone what happen tonight.

Julian is getting a drink as Tatiana comes out from the back and she brings up how she feels like a traitor to Matilde for sleeping with him. Julian ask only Matilde what about Benja or did you do it to get back at him also?

Tatiana gets upset with him by saying that and says to him and what if Braindead finds out and Julian says she won't find out because you will keep your mouth shut.Tatiana being Tatiana sasses back which causes Julian to finally lose and start to choke her.He has a knife in his other hand ready to stab her as he keeps choking her.

Valeria after looking at Rodrigo comes out of the bedroom remembering Benja's words about Rodrigo's drug addiction she then brings out one of her suitcases and finds a little packet of cocaine and takes a hit to calm down. Well so much for this relationship lasting huh?

Julian puts the knife away and doesn't use it as he lets Tatiana go. She ask him what in the heck is the matter with him doing that to her.Julian tells her to leave now because he has enough of her mouth and don't ever speak to him about Braindead in that way ever again they are getting married.Tatiana leaves and she doesn't know how lucky she is escaping from this killer.

fabiola appears and taunts Julian about wanting to kill Tatiana just like he wanted to kill Rodrigo. He can control himself as Julian disagrees with the ghost and saus he has been controlling himself for months now. Fabiola brings up Braindead and says she's a mother now too it's only a matter of time before he wants to kill her too.Julian says Braindead is the most perfect woman and he would never kill her. Fabiola disagrees with him saying it's only a matter of time before he kills again.Probably his next victim will be Matilde as she leaves Julian is angry and throws his glass at the wall.
 

HEREDEROS - Monday
This show is like Groundhog Day - they just keep doing the same thing over and over.

At the inauguration of the new El Gavilan bar, Pedro gets drunk, grabs a microphone and airs dirty del Monte linen to all those present. In particular, he says that Juan and Paula have a thing going.

Amador professes an interest in Rosario but she is still only interested in Lucas.

Rosa sees Johnny in nothing but a towel and is so overcome that she nearly swoons onto his well sculpted chest.

Beatriz provides another opportunity for Jose to tell her that he doesn't care about her.

Once again, Julieta decides that Juan doesn't love her and heads for home. This time, there is no room at the inn, Johnny is staying in her room.

Sofía hires Inés to work at the store. Rosa tells Sofía that Inés is the other mistress of Emilio that she denounced and ran out of town. Sofía concludes that since Inés didn't turn about and rat Rosa out, she is a good person and should continue to work at the store.
 

I thought the music they were playing at El Gavilan sounded familiar and a post on TW confirmed that it is one of the songs that were hits for 20 years on El Clon. It's not the Baby Baby one. Pretty cheap of Telemundo!!

Thank you again Blusamurai. I could not wait to read today's post, as I was too chicken to watch it last night, although I tuned in for the last 5 minutes. I can tell you I was genuinely surprised. Tatiana is a handful, but I understand how she got that way, and do want her to survive. Thank you so much for posting so quickly, I can sit back and relax until tonight's episode.

It's only a matter of time now before Julian kills again. The urge is too strong. I can't believe Tati took him choking her so calmly- first as foreplay, and then from his anger about being truthful about Piedad not loving him. It appears she didn't see the knife, but still. That would make me call the cops.

Blu- Tatis didn't say she felt like Julian's sister now. She was speaking to herself/Benja and said you slept with my sister, now I'm sleeping with one of your best friends. It was a total revenge thing. Just like all of her sleeping around. But you can see how sad her face gets during the sex. She's not enjoying it, like Benja enjoyed all his sex partners. She's only hurting herself, and in this case she almost got herself killed!

Pedro needs to be in a facility, but I don't think he wants help.

Sofia, Rosa, and Inez working together will be funny. Since Don Emilio is dead, what's the problem?

This business of forcing Consuelo and Jonny into separate bedrooms has gone from ridiculous to abusive. They need to get out of the house if their relationship is to survive.

My contempt for Paula escalates.

We did learn that years ago, Rosa told Eleuterio about Ines's affair with Emilio. This directly caused Ines to lose custody of Guadalupe, and for Eleuterio to kick her out. But although I was dubious the other day, it now looks as if there is some hope that Ines and Eleuterio will reconcile, and sweet little Lupe will be happy.

I love the trio of Sofia, Rosa and Ines. Despite their various character flaws, I find them all very attractive, and their gossiping, arguing and challenging is very entertaining.
 

ALGUIEN -

This was like the fall from grace, for a number of characters. Valeria fell back into drugs. Julian just about fell back into murder. Pedro Pablo initially was strong in hustling Lucia out of his room, but he may also fall if the baby is born (if it is, I might start believing that Lucia wasn't faking :) And Benja, falling back into the arms of Camila. I don't think they resolved whether she really turned him down at the end. We'll see tonight.

A minor point is that Lola told Yoyita that she's not taking Pedro Pablo back now, she'll wait until Lucia's baby is born, that'll show where Pedro Pablo's true feelings are. Lola will decide at that point what to do.

I thing that Tatiana, despite her stubbornness, way down deep DOES have some suspicions about Julian, she just hasn't put 2 and 2 together. Maybe she'll have some flashbacks to Matilde's pleas on the pay phone, to some things Rodrigo told her, to Julian's saying he "DOES give in to irrational impulses, you can't imagine how much." Maybe Tatiana will wake up, before it's too late. But I'm not counting on it.

Jean, you absolutely hit the nail on the head with "Groundhog Day". How many times is somebody, usually Pedro, going to spill the beans about Paula and Juan? Booooring.

I love Rosa's lust for Jonny!

I had some kind of glitch in my DVR recording at the end and didn't get the last part where we learn for sure that it was Rosa who told Eleuterio about Inéz and Emilio.

I don't know if it's Cimarro or the director, but when Juan was supposed to be pleading with Julieta not to leave, he was not very convincing. I do like it when he calls her Chaparita (shorty).

Urban A, you're so right. I wanted to scream when Rosa came in and told Consuelo she couldn't leave her room! It's completely absurd.
 

ALGUIEN - LUNES

Piedad needs to listen to her gut feelings. When she and Julián were sitting on the sofa and he was hinting around that he could hardly wait for the wedding, meaning getting her in the sack, her face showed disgust. She does NOT want to make love to him. Now whether the writers mean this to be the standard heroine only goes for the hero or some deeper sense of knowing what he really is, I'm not sure.

I noticed there were a LOT of flashbacks in this one. Stretching it out for another week?

That was one very convincing scene of hot, bordering on violent sex with Tati and Julián. I nearly cried when he ripped that beautiful dress!

Tati pushed lots of Julián's buttons and got out of there alive. First she said Piedad didn't want anything to do with the wedding preparations, which pissed him off. And then later she out and out said Piedad didn't love him.

She also said she wouldn't feel bad about their having sex because her close friend Mathilde was not in his life; i.e., a divorced spouse.

I was SO hoping Camila would throw Benja out. I am very disappointed in him.

Piedad is one mixed up character. I can see why she'd be sentimental about the twin necklaces. But then she calls Rod after having told him she'd get a restraining order if he didn't control himself. Say what?

I guess we're meant to assume that Valeria knew it was Piedad, and her insecurity about her relationship with Rod caused her to use. But, if she really were seriously in recovery, she would not have that little stash in her luggage.

When Julián was conversing with Mommie Dearest, he said that Piedad is his salvation. This sounds to me like trouble for her if she gets cold feet about the wedding.

Vivi she did talk about feeling like she betrayed Matilde when they were in the living room. I know she doesn't care at all for Braindead and Julian was right calling her out on her revenge against Benja that's why she did it.

I see the same expression you're talking about on her face when she's being intimate with other guys.

I don't know about the rest of you but i love the appearance of Fabiola Garcia she just seems more scarier than Eva. But i would love to see a scene when Julian is confronted by both Eva and Fabiola now that would be great.

Hombre i don't think Tatiana is suspicious but i wish she would reexamine her past conversations like you said and maybe make that connection. Let's hope after being nearly choked to death she think long and hard about Matilde's last phone call. Rodrigo's strange questions and Julian's disturbing response.

Since we're discussing DNA on TDA page i suggest that Pedro Pablo gets one asap as soon as the baby is born. That is if there really is a baby?

Julian yes Vivi you're right it's only a matter of time before he kills again. When he saw the pole dancer several months ago when he was first trying to quit. The urge almost got to him but he did mange to suppress it but now with his actions towards Rodrigo and Tatiana it's only a matter of time and he does have so many candidates to choose from. Matilde,Valeria,Rodrigo, Tatiana and this is a wild one but i'm going to say Benja also.

If Benja ever thinks real hard about how he's been manipulated by Julian he would realize that Rodrigo has been telling him the truth.

What happened last night was that Sofia found out about it thus adding to the information about Rosa that she could pass on to Miguel or others when she wants to.

Benja lays on Camila couch asleep but wakes up as she comes in calling him to give him a cup of coffee.They make uncomfortable small talk as Benja says he's got to go both are uneasy with each other giving a awkward kiss goodbye. Benja seems to linger but Camila doesn't give in to temptation.

Tatiana remembers her booty call with Julian and doesn't look to happy with herself. Lola stops by asking if she's heard about Matilde as Tatiana has a guilty look upon her face.

Braindead visits Matilde with baby Sofia telling Matilde's parents about the happy news that Julian has agreed to let doctor Gibson operate only if he can detect any movement in Matilde?Matilde listens to this and is scared witless with fright.

Pedro Pablo is with Loca Lucia in a hospital as she screams and curses at him with her labor pains. The nurse comes in and ask him to get her to calm down.

Tatiana says to Lola sheb doesn't think the operation is a good idea according to Julian as Lola thinks opposite of her opinion. Tatiana then defends Julian vigorously to Lola saying how much a good person Julian is as Lola is surprised by this response from her.Lola then announces the baby is coming.

Julian meanwhile at the clinic gets the same drug that Loca Lucia used on Pedro Pablo to paralyzed the limbs temporarily. Fabiola the ghost pops up asking him i guess you're going to use that on Matilde huh?

Valeria is skittish as Rodrigo comes out asking if she's ok she says yes.She gets him a cup of coffe he ask if something is the matter she lies and tells him about having a nightmare. he accepts her excuse for now and leaves.

Luisa is giving her boss the run down on a case she just finished he tells her great job and ask if she is still, looking into the "El Cazador" case? Luisa lies and tells him no as perfecto tells her good he doesn't want to have it bought up again because it make them look bad about closing the case.

Luisa is going on a little vacation as she leaves Amador ask if he can go with her but she says no. Amamdor ask again why he can't go with her does it have to do with work or is it something personal? Luisa walks away without answering him.

Julian visits Matilde's parents bearing gifts as they tell him the happy news and that Braindead was just there visiting.Julian goes into see Matilde by himself closing the door after him.

He taunts and threatens Matilde with how Emilio's life will be in danger if she recovers and then he shows her the needle she starts to cry he tells her don't cry because this is for the best since he can't really allow her to have that operation goodbye Matilde he says as he gets closer to her with the needle.

Matilde starts to scream scaring Julian and alerting her parents who come into the room overjoyed hearing her voice.Matilde parents think this is great news and means that she can have that operation.As Julian looks like he's about to go in his pants.

Lola is with Tatiana in the hospital room as she calls Pedro Pablo to tell him that she is in labor.

Rodrigo tells Luisa what happen when he found Julian in his apartment and speculates he must have got into his house the same way the night he dumped Daniela's body in his bedroom. Luisa ask Rodrigo to slow down and lets gather the facts first.

Pedro Pablo comes in as Tatiana ask how did he get here so fast he makes the excuse since Lola is delivering why wouldn't he get here as fast as possible.Before Tatiana leaves them alone she makes a snide remark about trusting men including Pedro. Pedro looks a bit sheepish and guilty from her sharp remark.

Julian is talking to Matilde's dad who wants Matilde to now get the surgery right away he tries to dissuade him and convince him it's too soon.

Doctor Gibson comes and and checks on Matilde's condition.

Rodrigo and Luisa visit Daniel Vidal's old cellmate in Dallas he tells them about Daniel and how he told him that he wanted to recover his freedom and payback Julian for what he did to him.What was that ask Luisa the cellmate tells them that Daniel said that it was Julian who really killed his mother not him.

Pedro and Lola bond of her labor pains and giving birth to another child of his.

As Tatiana paces the hallway remembering her words and Pedro comes racing out of Lola's room to go back into Loca Lucia's room. Lucia is still screaming at the top of her head which draws nosy Tatiana to find out who the heck is screaming like banshee?

Tatiana sees Pedro with Lucia and gets the look of betrayal on her face again.

Dr. Gibson comes out with the good news that Matilde can recover if she gets the operation.This excites Matilde's father as Julian tries again his manipulation he wants to talk to Dr. Gibson alone Dr. to Dr.

Emilio comes home and his grandfather tells him about his mother talking he runs off to see for himself with his grandfather following.


Julian ask why did he tell his son that and get his hopes up but Dr. Gibson isn't convinced by Julian and maintains his stance.Julian then sees it's a lost cause and changes tactics and gets Dr. Gibson to wait giving the surgery until after his wedding.Don't worry Julian it's going to be a long wait on that wedding of yours.

Pedro Pablo comes out and runs into a vengeful Tatiana who calls him on betraying Lola and a traitor. Pedro tells her to give it a rest and he warns her about saying anything to Lola to upset her. He is a father just trying to be there for the birth of both of his kids. So basically he's telling her to shut it! But looking at that sour expression on Tatiana's face i don't believe that will last long.


Luisa and Rodrigo ask the cellmate why what was the reason Daniel gave them that Julian killed his mother? the cellmate tells them he was sexually abused by his mother for years and finally he snapped and put the blamed on Daniel because he didn't do anything to prevent it when he lived with them.

Pedro runs back to be with Lola as Benja comes in asking what's going on as Tatiana says he just like you a dog. Benja tells Tatiana to cut it out and ask how his sister is doing fine for now snaps Tatiana.

Rodrigo is having lunch with Luisa excited with what the Daniel's former cellmate told them. But Luisa throws cold water on his excitement telling him to slow down it's not enough as Rodrigo ask her why? Luisa tells him they need hard evidence factual proof to nail Julian not just what this person says or that person.

Rodrigo takes offense thinking she's implying because he's a former drug addict that no one will believe him. Luisa tells him no it's not that but in order to catch Julian unless we have some type of proof in our hands. The "El Cazador" case will remain closed. Sorry but we need evidence not hearsay.Rodrigo looks like he is sulking upon hearing this.

Pedro Pablo runs out of the room where Lola is at making some type of excuse as Benja and Tatiana come in. Benja ask what's up with Pedro where is he rushing off to in a hurry like that?Lola tells him the excuse Pedro made but Tatiana who can't keep her mouth shut ask do you really want to know where he went?

Pedro comes as Loca Lucia who we finally see really was pregnant and screams gives birth to a baby boy as Pedro is happy holding his son.He makes a comment about his son as Loca Lucia gives him a real dirty look to kill.

Benja recognizing the tone of Tatiana's voice warns her to not upset Lola right now.Lola tells Benja to shut it and tells Tatiana go ahead and tell her. Tatiana barely containing herself lets her know that Pedro is with the other mother right now who is giving birth to his child you know the one he betrayed you with.Lola screams in pain and agony upon hearing this as Tatiana has a dissatisfied look on her face.

Julian comes into his office at the clinic remembering Matilde screaming before he was going to stick her with the needle.Braindead walks in and says she knows everything now as Julian has a panicked look on his face.

Valeria is having a modeling shoot that isn't going well that looks like it was canceled and calls up Camila she needs to talk to he right away.

Braindead tells Julian what Emilio told her about Matilde talking and how happy she is it means she can get the operation.Braindead then finds the needle Julian left on his desk he claims one of the nurses must have been careless leaving it there. Braindead wants to confront the nurse but Julian talks her out of it.Saying he'll take care of it as e takes the needle out of her hand.

Rodrigo sits in his hotel room and tries to call Valeria but no answer as he remembers what Daniel's cellmate said to him and Luisa.

Dr. Gibson calls him and tells him that Julian gave the ok for the operation. Rodrigo is surprised by this as he ask him again if he's sure yes Dr. Gibson he did give me the ok only i have to wait until after his wedding.Rodrigo sits there taking in this new development.

We still don't know what the sex is of Lola's baby or did they say or maybe they're assuming it's going to be another girl for her and Pedro Pablo.

The look Loca Lucia gave Pedro Pablo does not bode well he should order a DNA test right away and since Benja is there i hope he recommends he have one to clear up once and for all if he really is the father of Loca's child.

Tatiana OMG please stop you're not only hurting yourself with your numerous affairs. But now you're projecting your pain onto others and what you did to Lola while she is in labor so uncool.

The one night stand with Julian i really believe she not only did it for revenge against Benja and his affairs but also against Braindead too.She already admitted that they're not really friends and she certainly let her have it when she found out she knew about Benja's affair with her sister.

I also see her kind of jealous of Braindead she has two very attractive men who are in love with her what better way to get back at her with the more attractive of the two men in her life. If Rodrigo wasn't a drug addict she would have probably gone after him too. But since she considers him lower than a slug because of his drug use she thinks Julian is the most eligible and attractive man. Boy is she in for a rude awakening.

Looks like Benja slept on the sofa. Good.

I did not like the stupid plot point of having Lola and Lucía in labor in the same hospital at the same time, but of course you could see it coming from a mile off. Big contrast between their behavior during labor. And, surprise, surprise. Lucy really had a boy. The question is whether it's really Pedro Pablo's.

Tatiana was at her most unbearable this whole episode. Again ragging on Rodrigo, again praising Julián to the skies, even though he nearly choked her to death.

Yes! Yes! Yes! I wasn't sure how Julián would be prevented from injecting Mathilde, and I loved how they did it. That pathetic cry completely surprised me.

That cellmate of Daniel's was full of great information, but Carvajal is too afraid of the flak if she re-opens the case. The guy told them about the hunting cabin AND the hunting knives that were Daniel's that were also taken by Julián.

Grrrrr! The parents are ready for an immediate operation, but Julián says, after the parents leave the room, that he hopes Gibson doesn't think him egotistical (ya think?) but he'd like the operation to wait until after his wedding. Oh, no problem, Julián, just let the ex you're supposedly so fond of lie there paralyzed for a couple more weeks so your wedding is a big success. Gibson gave him a bit of the stinkeye, but I'm sure he'll go for it.

Wow, Valeria sure did get rocky looking in a hurry. Hopefully her calling Camila is a good sign.

I could have strangled Tatiana for telling her sister-in-law in the middle of labor that Lucy was also there. What a b!tch!

I think I figured out what bothers me about this novela. It has all the ingredients: a really gorgeous, and talented cast, beautiful hacienda, fantastic horses. The problem is the writing. They've painted themselves into a corner. Juan is in lust with Paula from the first episode, too soon. And now they have to keep repeating his getting together and breaking it off with Julieta. And Paula keeps causing problems between all the brothers, over and over. Beatriz keeps imagining José cares about her, and he keeps demonstrating over and over that he doesn't. Lucas keeps rejecting Amador over and over.

The only unexpected thing has been Rosa's infatuation with Jonny. I could watch that for hours!

I couldn't believe it! Because of Paula's big mouth, Julieta is so upset that she falls down the staircase. But Paula still comes to the hospital! I'd like to see either Rosa or Miguel slap her.

I suppose we're meant to feel a bit sorry for Juan, but I was glad to see Julieta tell him to get out. It's only what he deserves.

Blu you're the best thanks a lot for the recap and how awful is that Tatiana it's one thing to be hurt from her husband disgusting affairs.

It's another one when you make others suffer from your pain says a lot about some women whose husbands cheat on them that want to take their pain and subject others around them to their feelings. Maybe a person like Tatiana who couldn't control her husband being faithful to her. Needs to control those in her inner circle by any means possible even if that means inflicting pain upon them.Very pathetic of some women who act out in this way trying to control others when they couldn't even make their husbands stay faithful to them.

Up until last night i used to have some sympathy for her but she went to far. What makes matters worse this is her sister in law not someone she didn't know.She needs to get herself a therapist and deal with her pain and betrayal from Benja. That's the only way i can see her moving past this.

When Loca gave birth that was the weirdest moment, I expected a plastic baby, the way PP and Loca were looking, I wondered if they pulled a prank while filming. It was just weird. This is a great novela at times, I know I felt compassion for Tatiana, I felt she was a victim, but true last night's episode she was causing so much pain, why would she want to do that to someone else? Then to praise Julian, a cheater like her husband, let alone someone who tried to strangle her, now that does not make sense.

HEREDEROS
It's been the same story since episode one, just different words, I don't know what this novela wants to do. I'm on Julieta's side, Paula and her mom can just return to their mothership and return to their planet. The only one I like watching is Julieta's dad, I hope he gets a break somewhere.

Paula must somehow be related to Elizabeth from Aurora; going to the hospital when she must know that Julieta overheard her is damned cold.

Rosa really disgusts me now. I realize we will be treated to more of her Inner Cougar but she deserves to be caught ogling Jonny and I don't care who does it.

Jose is becoming a bigger snake every day. If he's looking to take Paula down he should share that with Gaspar at the very least.

What's going on with the lawyers?


AURORA

My gut tells me that Elizabeth is going to bust out of the slammer. We have not seen the last of her.

Inez and Catalina both hate Pasion (who the hell takes a name like that?) Since she's been frozen longer than Aurora was, her chances of survival aren't good.

I am not believing a thing about this story anymore so the only reason I keep watching is for Eugenio Siller and Pablo Azar, the hot brothers.

Urban A, you seem to have a lot of background TN info. Question: Is Herederos a remake? I'm curious because of a theory that maybe the best Telemundo novelas are remakes; at least the ones I've liked best: El Clon, Doña Bárbara (well that was from a great novel), Zorro (done a million times in movies and TV). Could Telemundo be a bit weak in the original writing category?

Since Julieta lost the baby in the fall down the staircase, that changes everything. Or does it? Certainly, Juan doesn't have to stay married to her for the baby, now that there isn't one. But he does have a lot of guilt. In some ways, I think HE needs counseling as much as Pedro!

I thought Gaspar and Jose fighting was stupid, but fun to watch. In some ways, every single one of the Del Monte brothers is immature, holier than thou, and unable to care about feelings of people other than themselves. Of course, occasionally they're noble, kind, etc., but these moments are few and far between.

I hope the idea of locating the hunting lodge works. They know it's in the suburbs of Chicago. That may be a big area, but a search of the land records under the names Daniel Vidal and Julian Garcia in all counties surrounding Chicago could give them the answer quickly (if this were real life). Rod said they should search every cabin individually, which is what they'll probably do, finding the right one at some dramatic moment.

I was also mad at Tatiana, who keeps ruining everyone else's life, to somehow makeup for the fact that her's was ruined. I understand her, but I don't like her behavior.

I feel that Julian's days are numbered. Every episode, something goes wrong for him. He usually gets out of things, but it feels like 3 or 4 episodes from now, he'll run out of luck, and have to take some dramatic action when cornered (this is a total guess, by the way).

Herederos is a remake of a 2008 Chilean novela called, Los Hijos del Monte.

So there goes your theory. But I don't think it holds anyway. Dona Barbara was the best written novela I have ever seen but not much of that came out of the book.

I thought the remake of Clon, which as I understand it, followed the original script very closely was badly written.

Both Univision and Telemundo do remakes - it's so easy to redo something rather than think up something clever yourself.

I was frustrated (again) that Rodrigo had to spell it out for Luisa (HUNTING KIVES, HUNTING CABIN, THE HUNTER/EL CA-ZA-DOR, HELLO?????) but she still needs "solid" proof. Of course they didn't need proof to lock Rodrigo up before, but OK!!!! She is a detective and she asks, Where are going to find the cabin's address? What? Can't you look up some records, properties, google maps or something????? Oh come on!

Anyway, Tatiana, what can I say? She is who she is. I just really wish she changed, grew up, matured, stopped being so bitter and mean. She is not evil, but she poisons herself with her own bitterness and hurts others constantly.

Actually I liked El Clon and didn't think it was that badly written, just that they may have made it last too long.
 

ALGUIEN – General comment

I’ve been thinking about point of view and marvelling at the way the writers have constructed the story.

At first, we were seeing Julián through the eyes of the other characters. Like them, we had no reason to doubt him and certainly no reason to suspect him of being a monster.

But at a certain point, we, the viewers, were allowed to see Dr. Jekyll turn into Mr. Hyde. We watched Julián when he was alone; we were allowed into his head; we lived his memories; we saw the sly looks behind Piedad’s back; we knew when he was lying; and finally we witnessed his atrocities. Lately phantom Fabiola has been more and more explicit. Was it last night that she remarked that Julián has never had any feelings? That any emotion is shows is fake? Psychopaths ‘R Us, right?

The writers have orchestrated our reactions brilliantly. We feel frustration, even rage, at the blindness of the other characters, or at least those closest to him. Why can’t they see Julián for the unspeakable demon he is? Why do they deny every piece of evidence until it is too late? What the hell is wrong with them???

Mauricio, who was an outsider, saw the truth. Rodrigo, who is inside the circle of friends, but outside the circle of Julián’s golden influence, has been able to see the truth for a while now.

But as for people like Piedad and Tatiana and Benjamin and Pedro Pablo – they see the truth they expect to see. It’s like those perceptual experiments where people fill in missing words or letters or remember absent visual details because they expected them to be present.

Hombre, you’ve alluded to this before. If Julián were your colleague and good friend for half a lifetime, would you believe Rodrigo’s allegations? I’d like to believe I would, but I’m not so sure. Julián’s friends have only his elaborate impersonation of a good person to judge him by. His whole life has been a theatrical coup.

At the end, Julián stands alone. The other characters are variously flawed and some are more likeable than others. But only Julián has no soul.

What I was thinking also about Julián's various "haints" is that they're different. Eva was sly and insinuating. She accused him of his crimes and taunted him that he'd be caught soon. Fabiola is more evil. Her approach has been that of an accomplice, egging him on to kill Mathilde. I suppose this is meant to be because he's not able to hide what he is much longer and the "spirits" reflect his current mental state.

You know when Tatiana showed up at Julián's door in her short, tight black dress, I thought she looked like the third member of the ghostly trio -- maybe the Ghost of Christmas Present? And the way he received her with lust and loathing suggests he saw her the same way.

I was expecting a lizard baby to pop out of Lucia, like in the original V. :) I really hate that Tati is projecting her hate outward at other people. But Lola sometimes does the same thing, and she has no excuse. I wish they would stop painting Pedro Pablo with the same brush as Benja. They all know how PP got in this situation, and it wasn't by choice. He's a good husband and a good father. Lola should look at her brother (the cheater) and Julian (the one who never really loved his wife and lusted after his friend the whole marriage), and kiss PP's feet. That man loves her, wants her, protects her, and loves his kids. Time to woman up, and deal with the Lucia issue maturely and together with her her husband.

The letters had a return address, as I remember it, and Gaspar drove her to the town where her mother was living. They had a tearful reunion, and Inez decided to come back to Beatriz' house with Lupe.
 

GENERAL

I thought that the remake of El Clon wasn't different enough from the original to have been worth the trouble. Good cast and great photography, but Lucas should have been more macho.

Dona Barbara was great, but I know it had to have deviated from the book in more than the time period confusion.

I loved Gitanas and Te Voy Ensenar a Querer. The villains' sex scenes in the latter were hilarious.

Pedro Pablo smiles down at his son and ask Loca Lucia if she wants to hold him? She snaps don't bring him near her and she doesn't want him to Pedro.Pedro hands his son off to a waiting nurse and ask Lucia is she for real does she really not want her son?

Lola is in the delivery room grunting as Tatiana urges her to push and Benja tells her to scream if she has too. Lola tells Tatiana to shut up as Pedro Pablo enters and this upset Lola who tells him to get out go back and be with his son.Even her doctor tells Pedro it's best that he leaves the room.

Pedro leaves the room and remembers the good times with his family and recalls his last good talk with Lola.

Valeria modeling shoot is canceled as her boss says she acting too nervous and he knows why and he's not going through this again. Camila comes then and tells Valeria lets go back to Rodrigo's place as she tries to calm her down.

Lola delivers another girl as Benja and Tatiana are happy about the new addition. Pedro listens outside and remembers his time with his family of girls.

Luisa sits in a bar and is having a drink and recalls Daniel Vidal's cellmates words Julian Garcia killed his own mother and Daniel once he gets out is going to recover everything he took from him. His freedom and his knives and his cabin in the woods.

Camila ask Valeria what's the problem and stops her from drinking as she tells to don't do this. Valeria complains it's not going to work with her and Rodrigo.

Camila says sure it don't worry about Braindead she's marrying another man anyway and Rodrigo will be yours.Valeria says it's not just that but that Rodrigo is in serious danger she can feel it.

Braindead and Julian look in on Matilde who next to a sleeping Emilio as Julian discusses her operation. Matilde gets a panicked look on her face and Julian wakes up Emilio not wanting to sleep with Matilde trying to get hi m to leave his mother alone. Emilio wants to stay as Julian argues with his son he wants him with him.

Benja and Tatiana marvel over how beautiful Lola's new baby girl is as Benja pays the same compliment to Tatiana.She blows off his flattery as Benja ask again to reconcile with her telling her he has changed and learned from his mistakes.

He wants his family back and he reminds Tatiana of the many things they had planned together. Tatiana agrees that's true but now it's different since he betrayed her and slept with her own sister and his other lovers. Tatiana tells him no she's can't go back there with him and things can't be the same with him ever again.

Pedro Pablo looks at his newborn son and then sees his daughter and recalls Lucia's words in the delivery room.The nurse points out his two new born to him.

Luisa is still in the bar as Rodrigo calls her up wanting to join her.

Pedro is holding both his son and daughter in the crook of each of his arms as Lola slips in and looks at him. As Loca Lucia creeps in back of her looking mad, crazy and dangerous enough to do something.

Rodriog gives Luisa a update on what Matilde's doctor told him about Julian agreeing to the operation but he wants him to hold off until after his wedding to Braindead. Rodrigo ask Luisa to do something as Luisa tells him they don't have enough proof yet and her superiors will give her a hard time about doing this. But Rodrigo talks Luisa into sending two policemen to watch over Matilde.

Tatiana is in a restaurant with Angel telling him that Benja is gone out of her life. But Angel doesn't believe her and tells her she still is in love with her husband. That's why she is acting out in this way and hurting herself.

Tatiana disagrees with him and tells Angel she's just living her life now the way she wants too. Angel ask what she is thinking to be honest with herself if not with him. It seems this question makes Tatiana pause and think it over some.

In walk in Benja and Camila at the same place as Tatiana sees them together and assumes they have resume their affair again with each other.

Benja and Camila tell her it's not what she thinks but Tatiana doesn't want to hear and starts talking loudly for all to hear about her sister going off with her husband somewhere to sleep with each other.

Benja ask not to cause a scandal good luck with that we are talking about Tatiana here. Tatiana continues as Angel tries to get her to leave.But Benja says they'll leave which causes Tatiana to get even more angrier and she lashes out big time.

Tatiana says she knew it wasn't over between them and she deliberately tells Benja to get back him it's ok you slept with my sister and guess what i slept with one of your friends who you think of like a brother.

Benja stops and ask what are you saying as Tatiana drops the bomb i slept with Julian. Guess who now is at the top of Julian's who to kill today list?

Julian is on the phone in his office as Benja walks in he slugs him and ask how he could betrayed him like that. Benja hits Julian again saying he'll never forgive him as Julian wants to know what he's mad about Benja tells him he knows he slept with Tatiana and it's like he doesn't know him like he never did.


Julian tries to talk quickly and says it was all Tatiana's fault and she came onto him.Even she came into his bedroom and he tried to resist her.

Camila visits Tatiana who ask why she is here as Camila tries to clear up her misunderstanding of why she was with Benja last night.

Tatiana tells her to get out she doesn't want to hear it she is dead to her and she will never forgive and she can't be trusted. Camila refuses to leave until Tatiana hears her out.

Braindead is walking through the park with baby Sofia as someone watches her from afar she feels the presence of this person and confronts them.

Benja ask Julian how could he do that he's a traitor it's like he doesn't know this person standing before him. Julian pleads we've been friends since University you know me i'm your friend.

Why ask Benja why did you do it as Julian twist and slants the blame all on Tatiana saying she came onto me to get revenge for you sleeping with her sister.

Camila tells Tatiana she needs to stop her destructive behavior and try to reconcile with Benja.Tatiana caustic tells her i don't need your advice as Camila says i only want to help you.

Tatiana laughs help me like you did with my husband and you're still carrying on with him. Camila tells Tatiana she gave up Benja even though she loves him also. Because she realizes she was destroying a family from her actions. Camila begs Tatiana to please stop hurting herself and living in pain. The only way she is going to get better is if she forgives.

Somehow i don't think this little sister talk is going well with Tatiana as she tells Camila to leave her alone and get out of her life. She has her children and her work and that's all she needs as Camila ask is that enough to make her happy when she can have back her husband and the father of her children.

Benja tells Julian there nothing he can say that will ever make him forgive him. Julian ask Benja to stop and pleads with him not to tell Braindead as Benja just looks at him and leaves.

Braindead's stalker turns out to be Rodrigo she ask what is he doing as he greets his daughter. Are you following me she ask? At first he denies it and admits yes but he has a good reason why.

Braindead says if it's about you telling me how dangerous Julian is for me i don't want to hear it. Rodrigo tries to tell her he just got back from Dallas and he visited Daniel Vidal's cellmate who told him it was Julian not Daniel Vidal who killed his mother.

This sets Braindead off in her defense of Julian as Rodrigo tells her it's true.She warns him about being near her and their daughter acting like this. Rodrigo ask her what do you want from me to go back to being locked up? Braindead says no, as Rodrigo touches her and she calms down.

Luisa comes back into her office and her boss perfecto is waiting for her lays into for sending two policemen to watch over Matilde and he wants to know why and now.

Luisa tells him about her little trip and what Daniel Vidal's cellmate told her it was Julian not Daniel who killed his mother.This causes perfecto to pause.

Rodrigo and Braindead still argue as he claims why does she keep defending Julian like that when he knows she wants him.

Braindead ask why would he say that as Rodrigo points out she is wearing his necklace he gave her. Braindead rips it off her neck to prove he isn't right and gives to him and tells him to leave her and her daughter alone.

She walks off looking sad,pathetic and crazy too.

Valeria tries to call Rodrigo and gets out his phone book but he's not there she is told. She wonders out loud if he's with Braindead and all the self confidence she had days ago with Camila as she remembers their conversation. As Camila tells her that Rodrigo will always love Braindead and they are a family.Valeria takes out her drugs and takes another hit. I'm sorry to see her fall off the wagon again.

Julian comes from the window looking out and ask about the police outside as Matilde's parents say they're here for Matilde's protection as Julian ask why?

Matilde"s parents say maybe they didn't really catch "El Cazador" maybe he had help as Julian says it was his step father nervously as he goes back to look outside at the police presence there.

Paula, after not succeeding in convincing Juan how lucky he is, finally shows a little remorse with her mamá. Mamá, however, doesn't feel anything for anyone. She only wants the dinero.

I think Rosa wants Julieta and Juan married so badly because she didn't get Emilio Del Monte.

Beatriz throws José out, but is not getting over him anytime soon.

Ye Gods, Paula shows up and tries to see Julieta. Someone please yank out some of that hair.

Does Consuelo realize she hit her father with the rock? If so, she's pretty cavalier about it.

Can we get a episode without Braindead as we head to the end she is just so impossible to like or cheer for at all. Perfect nickname for her also thanks Blu for the quick recap much appreciated.

I feel sorry for Valeria but that's why addictions aren't easy to overcome.


Tatiana has swallowed that bitter pill big time i just hope most woman's who's husband who cheat on them aren't as bitter and hateful and controlling in their personal life after this happens. She really does need some professional help to move on.That is if she lives long enough.

After the warm glow of the birth of Lola's baby, Benja talks up family and tells Tati he wants to try marital counseling.

Rodrigo asks Carvajal for police protection for Mathilde. He tells her that he knows the delay in the operation is only to gain time to figure out a way to finish her off. Meanwhile Emilio is curled up next to his mother. Julián doesn't like that very much.

Lola looks fondly at PP with a baby in each arm. But Lucía looks over her shoulder like the devil incarnate. Scary.

Julián is ordering a private jet for his honeymoon when Benja appears and (Oh, joy!!) socks him a couple of times. Do it again, Benja! Julián begs him not to tell Piedad. Do it, Benjamin!

Camila is going from strength to strength. I think she made an impact on Tatiana telling her she wants them to reconcile and that she'll leave the area.

Well, Carvajal is trying to get the case re-opened, but I don't know if she'll prevail over the Prefect and the Fiscal. They need to check the drinking fountains there. Something is lowering male IQ's at the Cop Shop.

So far, Julián looks thwarted in harming Mathilde. The parents at least at the sense to disagree with him for once, saying maybe the police thought Mathilde knew something about an accomplice.

I'm not so sure about the effect of Camila's words on Tatiana. Tati seems to hear what she wants to hear y ya. She is holding on to her hatred, pese a quien le pese.

Lola, on the other hand, may be volatile but her default way of being is earth mother, not avenger.

Of course, it's not really fair of me to compare Tati and Lola. Benja really did harm his family but PP, as Vivi pointed out, was as much a victim (or more so) as Lola was.

Thank you Blusamurai i enjoy reading your recaps and i'm loving this novela. Don't know when this is going to end but some of these characters while they are hard to take they do seem more realistic than the average novela characters.I really would like to see these writers do more novelas if they're going to be produced like this.

I'm not so sure Julian was inquiring about a private jet for his honeymoon. Maybe he's planning a getaway, if his secrets get out. It seems that with Tatiana and Benja both knowing about Tatiana and Julian having sex, Piedad is bound to find out. But I can see Julian trying to get her onto the plane, maybe before she finds out, leading to a chase or something.

BTW, we all agree that Piedad is brain dead. But Rodrigo loves her. Anyway. He's the hero. So, to make him happy, I see him ending up with her, and she has to apologize for the rest of her life. It's never going to work with Valeria. Of course, the other possibility is that we have some kind of tragic, or horrific ending, but I'm pulling for a happy one.

Thank you for the recap, as usual wonderfully done. I wonder what was up with loca's look yesterday (I did not see the episode), was there anything further, any guesses? I would think she would be over the moon giving him a son! Did she make a sadistic comment to Lola? Did Lola notice her? I was told this plot development lola/loca/pp was not in the original airing, does anyone know if that's true?

This is the original airing. I think you you mean the original version from Chile. It wouldn't surprise me that this storyline was not a part of the original. Lucy seemed to get more crazy (if thats' possible) after she gave birth. It made PP ask if perhaps she wasn't experiencing some sort of post-partem issue. It could be that someone who probably does already have some sort of imbalance would be thrown off by the shift in hormones after giving birth. It might also be the reality of seeing that PP's love for the baby does not extend to her. She seemed to be living in some fantasy world about this before. Perhaps having the baby be real and present brings up all kind of issues about being abandoned by her own father. Either way, she is crazy and getting crazier. She did not say anything to Lola (yet).

PP looked so sweet holding his two babies in either arm.

I don't think Piedad is brain dead. Her role is obviously written to frustrate Viewerville, much as slasher movies show the teenager descending into a dark cellar. While we all say "No, no, don't do it, you dummy".

My view is that Rodrigo's apparent violence while under the influence the first go-round of their relationship scarred her badly. When he first returned at the beginning of the novela, she rejected him for that reason. Then she believed in his recovery and allowed herself to love and trust him again. When he went back to drugs, she made a conscious decision to never trust him again.

Believing that that pulse pounding love is not going to happen for her again, she has decided to settle for comfortable friendship and a good stepfather for Sofía instead of passion. Once her mind was made up, she refuses to turn from that decision.

Also, what we were saying earlier: that it's hard for Pedro Pablo, Tatiana, and even Benja to believe that Julián is a killer. Piedad falls in that same category; i.e., colleague, friend of many years, etc.

And, while she annoys me at this moment in time by refusing to acknowledge her feelings for Rod and refusing to listen to his warnings, I'm going to be perfectly happy to see Rodrigo, Piedad and Sofía all happy together at the end.
 

Novelera, Very well expressed! We may be frustrated with Piedad's response to Rodrigo but she has her reasons. She isn't braindead but she has been badly hurt. Unfortunately her self-protective response has the effect of exposing her to unimaginable danger.

Vivi, you're so right about Lucía's reaction to the her new reality. But I thought her mental status changed even earlier, really as soon as she went into labor. It's not uncommon to hear women cursing their husbands after hours of intense labor. But Lucía seemed to turn on Pedro Pablo with the first contraction. She has always seemed delusional (in a clinical sense) but now her madness is turning scarier. She has the look of a woman who should not be left alone with her baby. Or anyone's baby.

I get the feeling Nellie whatever Lucia is planning is not going to end happily for Pedro Pablo and Lola.It's possible she might try to eliminate Lola now as Vivi said Pedro doesn't love her and isn't returning the same feelings towards her like she expected.She might even kidnap the babies but right now she said she didn't want to be by her son. She is a loose cannon no telling what she might pull. Your welcome for enjoying the recap.

Hombre as you said Rodrigo might be the hero in this but i still don't want him ending up with Braindead while he may still be in love with her. I'm chalking it up as lingering and lasting effects of his drug use.I do agree that once Valeria fell back into her drug use it was over for her and Rodrigo.Even though she was a rebound girl for Rodrigo i'm sorry that she couldn't kick her habit.

Yeah i can just see Julian explaining to Braindead why their honeymoon is never ending and they keep traveling from country to country.
 

I have to agree with both Novelamaven and Novelera that Piedad is not "brain dead," but scarred by her relationship with Rod. Also, she and Julian have always had a special bond; it's not as though he's someone she's just picked up. All of her experience with him has been positive: he has always been there for her emotionally and has always been kind to her. Why would she believe that he is a killer? What has he done that she has SEEN or experienced that would make her think that? She doesn't know what the audience knows.People have commented that she shows 'repulsion" when Julian moves toward her sexually. I think that she views him as a brother and it almost seems incestuous for her to think about having sex with him. I am pretty sure she and Rod will wind up together.

Maybe Loca Lucy will try to kill PP, Lola and her baby, or even her own son.It will probably make Lola drop all her rage at PP. I'm sure Lola and PP will wind up together again and I also have the feeling that Lucy's varon will join the family, and he and Lola's baby will be treated like twins. I was moved by Lola's reaction to PP holding the two babies. They really do love one another.

I have been rooting for Tatiana to come to her senses. Although her behavior is often terrible, the actress is so good at playing what's underneath her bitterness and anger that I feel sorry for her. I kind of thought that she and Benja would wind up together at the end, but now Im not so sure. Camila has certainly come a long way morally and in growing up and maybe she and Benja will wind up together. I missed a whole week when I was on vacation and I am not sure how this whole change with Camila came about. Also how did she get her apt. back?Before I left, she was living at Valeria's house.

Hombre (I think) you're probably right that Julian is trying to hire a plane to escape. Maybe he will come clean with Piedad, deluded that she will understand and go with him, and maybe she will be the one to turn him in.

Camila didn't live at Valeria's apartment; she just went there to get some hand-me-down high fashion clothes Valeria was giving away.

I think she lived at a homeless shelter for a while until she got the job selling electronics, mostly cell phones, at a retail store.

She said that she got the apartment back because the people who moved in after she was thrown out before were even more disruptive than she had been. And she managed to convince the landlord to have her back.

Sorry i see her as Braindead if she was written as not so overly emotional or jealous of any type of relationship Rodrigo has with a woman that she doesn't know then perhaps i could be more understanding towards her.

She was the one who accepted Rodrigo again in her life despite their past experiences and there was a strong hint of violence in that past relationship with them. She seems to be stunted mentally trying to forgive him but she can't still emotionally attached to him and loving him especially irrational when he's with another woman. Certainly not normal behavior the way she acts, if anything she should had at the very least went to therapy to deal with her emotional state from dealing with Rodrigo and his drug problems.

Bottom line no matter how she views or think she knows Julian the best. She just can't make herself psychically respond to him. That should send any normal human being a warning signal that this relationship just can't be more than what it is a good friendship that's it.How long do you think Julian would put up with her lackluster responses to him?

Tatiana the more i think about it she not only punishing herself but those who knew about the affair and didn't tell her. She's already punishing Benja and Camila. She got on Matilde's case even though Matilde didn't find out until she did on the same day her birthday party.

If you think about it her telling Lola about Pedro Pablo being there at the hospital for Lucia punishes them both for not telling her about Benja's affair. You know she wants to get back at Braindead she i definitely wouldn't be surprised if she's the first person to tell her about sleeping with Julian. That would punish both of them for keeping their mouths shut. She also punished Rodrigo by telling Julian about his escape from the clinic. So she has been pretty effective getting back at those who she has considered hurting her or betraying her. The down side is that she's hurting herself while doing this.

Now she needs to follow Camila's advice and move on and get past this.

I dont think we can blame Piedad's personality to Rodrigo's addiction. Yes, she was probably traumatized by it (obviously, there is no way not to be) but

Piedad gets ill with jealousy, and not only of Rodrigo with Blanca Gordon, Daniela and Valeria, but also of Julian and Eva. Doesnt that say a LOT about her? She does not like it when her guys are not focused on her. She is self centered and extremely insecure

I think her problem does not come from her relationship with Rodrigo (that failure only made her wound deeper) I think she has abandonment issues from childhood. She is an orphan, Matilde mentioned that she identifies with Julian because of that.

Anyway, my problem with her is not that she might have traumas (like most of these novelas's characters) It is not that she doesn't want to deal with Rod's addiction. She has a right to not want to go through that. My problem with her is that she never recognizes her faults. She never sees inside herself. She always acts like she is the only victim and she actually thinks she is a saint and doesnt feel any responsibility for the failure of her relationship with Rodrigo. She is very self righteous. She will not a good partner for him or anyone unless she gets therapy. He is not perfect, but he has made himself responsible for everything, something that she has reinforced and perpetuated. It is not fair for him to have to endure her for the rest of her life. Even if he wants this, it doesnt mean it is good. He also wanted cocaine and alchohol.

He has his issues to deal with and on top of that he had to deal with a crazy insecure and jealous girlfriend who at the same time compared constantly with Mr perfect killer? Why did she get so jealous when he was with Blanca and Daniela? So far Rodrigo has not shown himself to be a womanizer so what is her problem? Why does she see his relapses as a personal offense to HER? Doesn't she understand what addictions are like? I guess not, because she thinks she is "perfect"

Anyway,boooooooo Piedad, unless she gets therapy I will never believe in a happy Rod-Piedad ending.

Amen Aeryn you worded it so perfectly and that's exactly why i can't take Braindead anymore. Fix yourself first before you go around trying to preach to others and condemning others.

She acts like she still in high school and has to be the center of attention from the two most popular guys in school.

While Tatiana has her issues i feel some have been very hard on her and more lenient with the behavior from Braindead.It's not normal or rationale behavior she has shown us especially pertaining to Rodrigo being with any woman that is not her.

Good point i did forget how she got jealous also when Julian was dating Eva.

Here's a woman who was going away with Julian on a vacation to Hawaii at the beginning of this novela. When Rodrigo showed up again in all of their lives she's the one that struggled and fluctuated back and forth between these two men.

We all seem to focus on Rodrigo's addiction to drugs but what about Briandead's addiction to Rodrigo. It seems no matter how many times she says she wants him out of her life she has relapse and misses or needs to see him or be by him.

Personally i don't see the relationship working out between the two of them.I agree she is like another addiction for Rodrigo as much as he wants it it just not that good for him.He should hook up with Luisa instead.

Luisa boss perfecto lays into for trying to open up the case again threatening her with a suspension.He tells her that Daniel Vidal is the killer but Luisa says no it's Julian Garcia and she gives up her gun and badge saying she would rather give up her career than watch another person be killed by Julian.Pedrfecto realizes how serious she is as Luisa explains what Daniel Vidal's cellmate told them she pleads for him to help her.

He agrees with her only that she must be discreet and not call attention to herself that she is reopening the case.

Braindead remembers her conversation with Rodrigo in the park him accusing Julian of being the killer and it was him who killed his mother not Daniel Vidal. Then she recalls her past conversation with Julian concerning his mother asking him why he never talks about her. Julian response was to stop asking questions about her because he's never going to answer them.

Yoyita tells Camila she can't come inside the house on orders from Lola. But Benja overrides them and says she can come in and for Yoyita to leave them alone.camila ask benja what did he do he tells her about confronting Julian and calls him a traitor and he'll never forgive no matter what. Camila responds by saying she went over to Tatiana's to talk and she's not changing. She tells him as he continues to curse Julian that he's not the only guilty one here you know.Benja tells Camila to be careful Tatiana is the mother of his kids.

Pedro Pablo visits Lola and his baby bringing flowers and a teddy bear. they bond over their new baby girl. A nurse comes in to tell him that Lucia escaped with his son.


Rodrigo comes home calling for Valeria and sees the drugs and calls to Valeria again He finds her in the bedroom he ask her why did she do drugs again. Valeria tells him she's afraid he ask of what.What makes her more afraid than anything her worst nightmare is that he can't love her like she does him.

Julian creeps around Matilde's apartment and hears Tatiana visiting and greeting Matilde's parents.


Emilio with his mother tells her he needs to get his father but Matilde squeezes his knee to stop as Emilio ask her what's wrong doesn't she want his father to come?

Camila encourages to Benja to forgive Tatiana as he doesn't think he can get past this type of betrayal.Camila says yes you can because you're no better than what she did as Benja continues to disparage Julian. Camila brings up maybe what Rodrigo said about him is true? Benja agrees he's a jerk and a traitor and he'll never trust him but he isn't a killer.

Pedro Pablo visits Lucia's mother asking where is she as he calls out to her.He tells her mother she escape from the hospital with his son.Lucia's mother let's him know that she is not here but he is welcome to look for her. A now desperate Pedro ask who could she have turned too? Does she know anyone else maybe she is staying there? Lucia's says that she has been emotionally not stable since she was young.She has no friends or family to turn too other than herself.Pedro worries about this as Lucia's mother gives him even more bad news that the one who is the danger now is his son.

Yoyita gives Lola a update how Camila is at her house right now with Benja alone and she tried to tell her that she couldn't come in but Benja told her she could.

Yoyaita thinks the news about Lucia escaping with her son is good news as now she is out of their lives. Lola agrees she does like the fact that Lucia is gone but is worried about what she might do to Pedro"s son. She tells Yoyita how Pedro looked holding both of his children in his arms that day.

Meanwhile Loca Lucia is pushing the child down the street in a supermarket shopping cart.

Amador confronts Luisa about opening up the case again as Luisa tells him she got the ok from perfecto as long as they are discreet and don't let their superiors know what's going on.

Julian grabs Tatiana and ask why did she talk as Tatiana tells him what's the big deal he squeezes her arm hurting her and scaring her. She comments on how she thought he was a gentleman but he's acting this way. Julian doesn't like the fact she open her big mouth and ruin his friendship with Benja who he considered his best friend.he also worries that Benja might talk to Braindead.

Tatiana tells him not to worry since Benja has his macho pride he won't talk she knows him. She then tries to tell him what a big mistake he's making marrying Braindead but Julian tells her she'll never be like her. As far as he concerned there is no comparison between her and braindead.She should just be a good mother to her two kids or she'll be sorry.

Days past slowly as we see braindead planning her wedding with Tatiana.

Rodrigo taking care of Valeria.

Camila alone in her apartment drinking alone.

Perfecto along with Luisa this time interrogating Daniel Vidal's cellmate.

More Braindead with Tatiana her wedding planner.

Matilde being check on by her mother.

Lucia walking around still with her son.

Finally a month has passed.

Pedro Pablo questions a policeman on the whereabouts of Loca Lucia and his son as the policeman tells him they can't find them anywhere. They have searched all over and there are no new leads as of now.

The policeman leaves as Pedro recalls his conversation with Lucia's mother after she escaped from the hospital with his son.

Lola comes in giving him comfort and consoling him over the disappearance of his son. She reconciles with him and tells him to come home and lets be a family again with our daughters. She ask for forgiveness for the way she treated him.Pedro tells her there's nothing to forgive and that he loves her and she is beautiful to him as always.

Rodrigo sits and watches TV and thinks back to the day in the park with Braindead as he told her she still wants him.Valeria comes in asking what he's thinking as he doesn't want to talk Valeria thinks he is thinking about Braindead.

Rodrigo lies and says he's only worried about his daughter since can't be near her.

Braindead is discussing her wedding dress with Tatiana and Veronica. Tatiana ask Braindead again if she is sure she is making the right decision to marry Julian?

Benja comes out from the back of the clinic asking why Marta is not in her uniform? Marta explains that she is going to Braindead's and Julian's wedding aren't you going too she ask him?

Benja with a angry expression says no and curtly ask her to send his patients back to him. Marta looks after him with a puzzled expression on her face.

Valeria tries to serve Rodrido something to eat as he's preoccupied with his thoughts. She ask if he's thinking about her as he doesn't want to talk. Valeria badgers him about it some more she knows Braindead is getting married today that's why he's acting like this he hasn't stopped loving her.

Rodrigo continues to lie it's not that but Valeria won't dropped the subject. Rodrigo tells her he is concerned about Braindead and his daughter he has a reason to worry since she is marrying a killer.He gets up to leave with Valeria offering to go with him but he asked to left alone for now.

Julian with Emilio walk through his apartment set up with decorations as Emilio ask his dad if he's nervous. Julian tells him he's ok as he then explains he'll be going on his honeymoon but it won't be for long.

Emilio responds not to worry because now his mother can get her operation and be like she used to be able to walk and talk like before. As Julian thinks about this conversation.

Well i'm certainly glad Luisa convinced her boss to back her up and she was willing to leave the force because she believed in her convictions.

Could we be seeing some serious doubts creep in with Piedad? Let's hope so and why doesn't Rodrigo take her to court at least to get visitations rights. Are we supposed to believe he let a whole month go by and not see his brand new daughter at all?

I did enjoy Lola forgiving Pedro Pablo and wanting to reconcile with him. Now if only they can find crazy Lucia and lock her up all will be well.

Benja has some nerve acting like that after what he did he should be happy that Tatiana didn't try to sleep with Rodrigo too.

Aeryn i agree with you and Blu about Piedad really this woman needs to take care of herself and go see a therapist and deal with her issues.

I feel sorry for Valeria i really wish that Rodrigo would see what he has standing beside him and i agree he needs to go sue for some visitation rights to see his daughter.He can get that even if he has to have someone there chaperoning him when he's alone with his daughter.

Again, I missed another episode. Thank you for all responses to my queries from yesterday. Thank you for the excellent recap today. I feel like I sat and watched it. Was surprised when someone stated that Benji was not going to the wedding, he is such a wimp, I thought that would not be an issue for him.

Wow, a whole month passed. The police are now working on the case, but apparently got nothing concrete. Rodrigo apparently couldn't see his daughter for a month. Julian didn't try to kill anyone for a month. Tatiana didn't open her mouth for a month. Benja didn't try to reconquer Tatiana or Camila for a month. No one had any news about Lucia for a month. Yes, it's all so believeable. NOT!!! But it doesn't really matter, it gets us to the wedding day, and now some fireworks are sure to go off.

This show is really dragging. I think they need a new phase. They keep saying that any day now, the judge will issue the "posesion efectiva", or the final order as to who gets the house. And Gustavo seems to assure us it'll be Paula. So let's give her the house already, have the boys kicked out, and then they can all unite against her or something.

I can't recall a novela (except for comedies) when nobody gets killed. C'mon, writers, we need one of the following, right away:

-murder
-poisoning, not lethal
-amnesia
-baby switching

If I have to listen to Paula tell Juan one more time that he really loves her, and he denies it, or one more time of Pedro telling how he's going to fight for Julieta's love, I'm going to scream!!! Not really, I don't actually scream, but you get the idea :)

Anyway, the two good things from yesterday's episode

1.- Lola finally realized PP is a good husband. It was about time!

2.- Rodrigo did not sign the permission for Piedad to take Sofia out of the country. This means he has rights! why wouldn't he use them to visit his daughter? but anyway, at least it will be more difficult for Julian to escape with Piedad, because she wouldn't leave Sofia behind. And if he takes them both, it will have to be illegal and at least then Piedad will hopefully notice "something" is not right :)

I find the whole Rodrigo Valeria thing bittersweet. Why did they introduce her in the story if she/he/they won't get a chance? I loved him taking care of her. I didn't love that he doesn't confront the issue when she is being very open and explicit telling him I WANT YOU TO FALL IN LOVE WITH ME, (yes pushy, but she is being clear and completely honest) and he did tell her that he blames himself for her relapse but because he "burdens" her with his issues, he just never talks about what she wants to talk about! ugh! He needs to confront the issue now! I don't think he has been completely dishonest with her, but he has began to be ambiguous and I don't like that.

Did you guys notice that some time passed but Piedad and Tatiana didn't change her dresses? :D
