Llena de Amor #120 (Mex. 125) Tue 2/1/11 Remember, kids: no party hat, no party.
Labels: llena
Who knew ads were so hot? Not sure where the message was going to go on this ad, but sure would put people in the mood. Not sure what Jorge is up to, didn't seem M/V was happy at first with what he was doing. He's supposed to still be hung on her yet can watch her make out with Eman...kinda weird.
Can someone get Muneca back to planet earth? You just know she's going to just be more than heartbroken when she finds out the truth about Low. Speaking of which, man, he's got it bad for Kristel. I'm torn as to whether they would make these two father/daughter...just getting too hot between those two, and Kristel is starting to melt a bit.
Ok, the rat on Bernie's lap - nice touch. It was making me squirm, but I was cheering.
Now as for Axel wooing our sweet Delicia - in a WALMART???? Gees, guy, couldn't you work out somewhere a tad more romantic? What a story to tell your kids one day...yeah I propose somewhere between the toddler clothes and shoe section. Love her smile though as she said "no". These two are sooooo cute.
Julia, this was super, beginning with the title. Glad you knew it was a condom ad. I sure didn't. Emanuel "bizarrely hovering over MV as they walk like he's trying to sniff her hair"was a nifty observation. Other favorites were
"pervey commiseration"
"gnawing on his nethers" and the winner.....
"luthes, camera, acthion"
I am enjoying Jorge's cool contained snottiness (she's not YOUR gordita anymore...ouch!) but the accent just annoys the heck out of me.
Traveling mercies for your trip and prayers for better weather than we're having out here in the Midwest.
And certainly hope you're not going to Chicago!
There was no need for a disclaimer this this was both a funny and complete recap. Many thanks, and safe travels!
I loved the Walmart proposal and Delicia's sly "no". The whole thing was hilarious and sweet. Not sure how they are going to pull it off with her still being a servant in his evil mother's house, him not having a job, and neither one of them having thought about the future (where they will live; how they'll support themselves), but I'm willing to go along with it. :)
I'm hoping that the condom ad is just part of the ad, and that there's more stuff eventually added in about the actual product. But the reciness does fit in with those Trojan and KY ads they show late at night. What is Jorge playing at? Is he trying to test Mari's feelings? He's just playing with fire.
I'm fine with letter Muneca have one final fling with Low. It's obvious her motor has not been started and run in a while. Fidel will be there eventually to keep up her regular maintainance.
I also loved "gnawing on his nethers", both reading it and watching it. Nice touch by the director or whoever thought of it. Poor little ratones, having to crawl all over Spiderus.
This was another good episode with lots of activity. Hard to imagine that Axel's got connections down at the local Walmart but they sure set him up nicely for popping the question. Dee was adorable and I knew something was up by the way Paula was grinning so widely. I'm sure she'll help all she can since her own true love was thwarted.
Kinda weird that Jorge would throw Eman and Marvicky in bed together. I couldn't quite figure that one out except that it helped move the plot along. Judy, "cool contained snottiness" is the perfect description for him.
Thanks Julia, this was a terrific recap and didn't seem like a quickie at all. Be safe out there on your travels.
Spiderus getting some love from his furry Rat friends, priceless.
Jorge-luthes, camera, acthion-too funny a line but I swear if I heard him say "acthion" one more time... it almost sounded like he has a really bad lisp.
This TN is getting into high gear, cannot wait for the fun coming along
Loved the rats sharing Bernie's lap. Those guys always seem to have work. They were in Gancho, Corazón Salvaje, and I think they had a scene in Dinero as well.
Delicia and Axel were so cute in the supermarket. Maybe it wasn't a terribly romantic setting but I give Axel points for originality and cleverness.

Learned a new word in this one - "majo" (pretty, nice looking) - you have to google it to get the full cultural history - try wikipedia.
Somehow, my husband knew right away that Eman and Vicky were going to end up replacing the models. His novela-sense is even stronger than mine!
Great recap Julie - and you were rushed? You still covered all the bases.
So do you really think Eman will be convinced that it's Mari in the next episode? I know he was thinking to himself that only Mari felt and kissed like this (good for Eman for "recognizing" Mari where it counts!!!). Still - it seems early for him to really figure it out and I wonder if the avances are fooling us again.

I'm with Carlos in giving Alex points for originality particularly since he had to go to Dee. The party seems to have taken some of her spunk.
The producers are letting Low and Kristel get way too close for them to be related aren't they?
Loved the rats on Bernie!!
The Delicia/Axel scenes in the supermarket were adorable. He wants to marry her forget about being novios LOL.
The Lo/Kristel scenes kind of grossed me out with the thought in my mind that they could be father and daughter. I hope that's not the case since they shared a kiss.
Thank you all for your recaps. I have class Monday and Tuesday and miss those episodes as a result, so the well-written recaps help a lot. Does anybody know whether there's a site that streams the episodes online? I tired HuluPlus but they do not stream "Llena de Amor" (I have a converter box on my TV, and as far as I know, while converter boxes and VCRs can be used together for live taping, they cannot be programmed via VCR timer.) I hope all this skipping through the captions improves enough to provide recaps one day. I caught this telenovela in the middle and I was able to be bridge the dearth of substance in esmas.com's 100-word recaps by reading the old Caray, Caray! recaps (amazingly, I believe only about five episodes were missed). Thanks again!
And Julia, this recap was terrific and funny. I can’t believe you did it on the fly. And I can’t believe you understood all that stuff- were your captions okay? Here in L.A. they were just a disaster. I didn’t understand the Lorenzo/Kristel scene, so thank goodness you clarified that for me. Also, I didn’t realize that was a condom commercial, and I knew they were too young for Viagra. You solved that puzzle for me too! Whew!
Daisy – I was wierded out by supposedly love-struck Jorge promoting Vicky and Eman doing a love scene together too.
Welcome anon.
