Eva Luna #92 Wed 3/16/11 Lots of Cakes, Kissing and Crazies

We start the evening with the tearful reunion of all the Gonzalez women- Deb, Eva, Alicia, and Matilde. Deb has decided to be the bigger woman and forgives Tilde so that they can all move on with their lives. Later, Eva informs Renata that they will all be out at a party, and Leo will be off on other business. In addition, Deb is her mother and can come and go in the house as she pleases. Renata graciously tells Eva she’s happy for her. She later calls Julio to inform him Marcela will be all alone in the house tonight. (Bwahahahaha!) He’s so pleased with this news that he scores a birdie on his miniature golf course. Doc Marcos arrives. Over coffee Julio tells him how he’s been stalking/wooing (you pick) Justa. The Doc wants to know who could be sending those letters to Marcela to drive her crazy. Julio has no clue, but tonight he’s planning on continuing HIS plan to drive her crazy. They have a good chuckle.

Adrian is celebrating his 12th b-day with multiple cakes for each missed b-day celebration.

In the kitchen, Justa and Ric prep the punch and order more pizza for all the expected guests. A bit later in the courtyard, they give Adrian his big boy gift-- a watch, which he loves.

At the house, Marcela’s talking out loud to herself about how no one is going to control her- not Leo, not Eva, no one! Suddenly, Julio’s voice calls to her from the great beyond and she thought-bubbles back to Renata’s comments about spirits not at rest. She tries to calm herself and puts down her drink. “Marcela, I’ve come to find you.” “No!” She leaves her room for the doorway to Julio’s old room. As she fearfully peeks through the door, we see a mischievously smiling Julio behind her, slip into her room.

Leo and Liliana are in her hotel room arguing over the latest developments. He admits to killing Eva’s dad and putting the cops onto Dan. Liliana is upset that he didn’t inform her of this latest turn in the plan. Dan behind bars doesn’t benefit her. Leo tells her not to get her thong panties in a bunch. His testimony won’t be enough to put Dan away, so he won’t really go to jail. Her job is to continue to poison Dan against Eva. Just then, there’s a knock on Lili’s door. It’s Dan! Leo convinces Liliana to open the door. She does, but agilely prevents Dan from entering. Instead, she convinces him to take her out to dinner.

Back at the Haunted Mansion of Horrors, Marcela slides against the walls and back into her room trying to get away from Julio’s rumbling laugh--only to be greeted by the fantasma of a very alive looking Julio. “Hola Marcela.” “No puede ser! You’re dead. I killed you!”

Julio proves the contrary, and reminds her of her words over his seemingly lifeless body the day he “died.” Marcela has a fit and faints dead away on the floor. A while later, he and Renata have laid her out in her bed, and talk (too openly) about their plan to drive her crazy. They’ll make sure she thinks she saw a ghost that night. (Bwahahaha!!)

At the party, Marisol and Tony chat in the kitchen about her record contract and her leaving the strip club. He congratulates her. He always knew she’d be a star someday. Out in the courtyard, Franc and Jacky arrive with Laurita looking like husband and wife. Justa and Ric remember the less than happy terms under which they met at the wedding of Franc and Marisol. Adrian opens Laurita’s gift and finds an awesome flat panel tv. (I never got a cool gift like that when I was 12.) Adrian is such a sweet kid that he reacts to Jacky’s gift of chocolates with almost as much enthusiasm. Jacky and Marisol get territorial over Franc. Marisol wins and takes Franc off. He is HER husband after all. Tony then swoops in to make a move on Jacky and to remind/ reprimand her for going out with him just to make Franc jealous. She denies it.

Dim Dan seems to be enjoying dinner with Liliana—he shares his troubles with her and thanks her for listening. Liliana makes her move by encouraging Dan in his decision to put Vicky in a manicomio (yay!) and giving his hand a squeeze in a show of caring support (yuk!). Lili tries to convince Dan that Eva is blindly in love with Leo and she’ll always believe in him over Dan. Dan’s not buying it. Eva’s just confused by the lies.

Renata calls Leo to tell him of his mother’s crisis as Julio happily looks on. Leo’s on his way.

The Gonzalez ladies arrive, looking pretty fabulous. Marisol and Alicia greet each other like squealing sorority sisters. Eva introduces Deb to all as her mother, and everyone congratulates them on the happy development and note how beautiful Deb is. Upstairs, Ric sets up the tv in Adrian’s room as Adrian and Laurita look on. Justa announces the arrival of Eva and family. Adrian excitedly runs down to see them, but Laurita hangs back- she’s obviously not thrilled to see Eva.

Marcela is still out cold, but Renata decides it would be best for Marci to be a raving lunatic when her beloved son returns (I love the devious way she thinks). She waves smelling salts across Marci’s nose and stands back to watch the show as Marci swears Julio was HERE to her and Leo. Leo looks across the nightstand to the partially drunk brandy, assuming his mama is either under the influence, or completely off her rocker, or both. Marci clings to him and continues to babble. She jumps up from the bed and yells that she doesn’t want Juio to take her! He was here! They have to believe her. He was sitting right there! Leo tries to comfort and calm her, while Renata quietly exits with a sh!t eating grin on her face.

At the party, Tony catches Alicia trying to call Leo. They have their usual argument, but Tony informs her that Leo saw him kiss her the other day. Alicia is not happy about this news. Dominoes has delivered the pizzas and the adults arrange them on the table next to the multiple cakes (these kids are going to have a major stomach ache). Laurita hangs back and looks on at Eva sadly. Eva approaches to speak to her alone. Laurita spits out that she doesn’t believe that Eva ever loved her, despite what she says. Eva tries to convince her, but Laurita is so upset she decides she’s leaving the party. Eva convinces her to stay, since it will make Adrian sad if she left. Eva will be the one to leave. She hopes they’ll have the chance to talk another day. Laurita doesn’t agree, but she doesn’t disagree either. After she walks off, Justa approaches Eva to say she just heard about the problem between her, Daniel and Laurita. She very much hopes that Daniel will soon be proven innocent. Eva hopes the same. The party later culminates with Las Mañanitas, Adrian’s face in the cake, and a sweet (because of the cake and the kids) kiss on the cheek from Laurita.

Renata checks in with Julio to tell him operation Drive Marci Mad worked like a charm, and no one saw him leave.

Dan has brought Lili back to her hotel room. (Why did he need to enter? I really don’t know.) She continues her campaign against Eva. “Eva is not your happiness.” Dan disagrees. He hugs her farewell, and Lili takes the opportunity to feel him up. She tells him he’s tense, full of stress and needs a massage. Dim Dan gives in. The massage soon turns horizontal, with kissing and Lili on top trying to convince Dan to go with the flow.

His only thoughts are of his first meeting with Eva-- when she gave him a terrible massage on the boardwalk. He breaks away from Lili’s embrace and lets her know Eva is the only woman in his thoughts.

Victoria, meanwhile, is getting a serious case of cabin fever in Dan’s bedroom. She has A PLAN that she will put in motion tomorrow.

Back at the Mansion of Horrors, Renata tells Eva that Marci’s losing it and it has to do with Julio. Leo wanted to talk to Eva about it when she returned. He is at that moment in bed, awaiting Eva. He opens his door, thinking the person knocking is Eva. He’s surprised to find Alicia instead. They continue to have one of their stupid arguments about whether he really loves her. Like the idiot she is, she falls for his line about always loving her, even when he marries her sister. They begin to kiss and get down to business on the bed.

Unfortunately, Eva knocks before she enters, and the two have enough time to jump apart before they are caught in a truly compromising position. Their dishevelment and guilty looks are enough to prompt Eva to ask: “Que haces aquí Alicia?”

It was my pleasure guest recapping for you this evening. I hope I gave you enough detail.-- Vivi in DC

Previews: A lot! Eva wants to know what Alicia is doing in Leo’s room. They must have made up some excuse, but later Alicia admits she has a lover. Eva seems to be stalling on continuing the marriage preparations for some reason. Vicky joins Dan and the family at breakfast and seems to be putting her “plan” into motion. Deb overhears Marci having a nightmare about a fire/explosion, attempts to remove THE GLOVE, and learns from Vicky that Dan’s parents died when their car crashed and exploded.

Thanks so much for the recap. I didn't see tonight's episode yet. Finding this recap so fast was a surprise for me. So Eva didn't see them kissing. I think the writer is still against Eva. She should find them. I'm glad about Marcela's situation. jjablan.

Vivi, Thank you so much for doing tonights recap. And thanks for doing it with your usual flare and command of the Spanish lanuage.

Loved the whole Marcella/Julio ruse and love how Renata is certainly turning into such a key player for team Julio.

The birthday party was so sweet. The cake kiss at the end was priceless.

Thanks again Vivi for doing the recap, It was such a fun treat to read this before I head to bed, so I can get up early for work.

Wow! thanks for the fast recap.

About the kids at the party. If that were anyplace besides a script/story being filmed I would think the situation was totally out of control with those kids running around constantly!

That was fast!

I missed the last 10 minutes, and since Eva surprised Alicia and Leo so late I figure it will be repeated tomorrow.

I sure hoped Marcela did have a heart attack and kicked the bucket! Then Don Julio could come back a free man.

Is the last episode the 25th? We got 7 episodes to go?

Audrey

Wonderful and rapido recap, I marvel at your efficiency and skill. I love your description of the "haunted mansion of horrors"
I am wondering how long they will let Eva stay deceived about Leo. My guess is they will be getting married in the next to the last episode and Eva will jilt him. But keeping her deceived is causing them to write her as awfully dumb. I mean, how many times can she find Alicia in his room and continue to be unaware.
I noticed that the advances were more generic and revealed little, and said instead of "manana" they said "en ultimas capitulos" which made me think these were general scenes for the days ahead and not just for tomorrow.

Wow, Vivi, what a great recap, and done with lightning speed.

On the whole, I found tonight's episode unexciting. Perhaps part of the problem is that last night's avances showed (I thought) Eva actually walking in on Leo and Alicia embracing, but in tonight's episode they had enough time to separate before Eva walked in. True, both Alicia and Leo had guilty looks on their faces, but it looks as if Eva may still not realize what's going on.

Tonight's avances were more interesting and more promising, especially Alicia's using the magic word (amante) when talking to Eva and Deborah's overhearing Marcela's nightmare and her mention of fire. Deborah apparently already had suspicions about Marcela's involvement in Dan's parents' deaths, and this served to reinforce her suspicions. I doubt all this will play out tomorrow, though.

Thanks so much for your recap Vivi. Your comments were fun and I especially like you laughing at the gaslighting of Marci.

The party was cute as was the cake kiss.

I also hope Eva can get her brain back soon. And I can't believe she has not discussed any of this situation w/Don Julio.

Eva Lame-o, not Luna.

Exactly when are the paybacks going to start?

I'm betting Marisol gets knocked off first, and Ric--sad to say-- in trying to protect her, gets killed as well.

WOW WOW WOW Vivi,

I didn't know you recapped this last night. Thank you so much. ITA about the writers and Eva, I mean really what the HECK, first she finds Leo in Alicia's bedroom looking guilty, then she finds Alicia's in Leo's bedroom looking guilty, and a little messy and a light bulb doesn't go off in her head.

Why oh Why did Daniel go in Lililech's hotel room what was he thinking, well all I can say is I glad he came to in time.

Yes the birthday party was sweet.
What is wrong with Marisol shes jealous of Jackey and Francisco's friends ship. I mean she won the man, what more does she want.

HA HA HA DJ gaslighting Marcie, boy Renata is good.

I totally agree that last night's episode was not exciting at all. At this point it seems that Univision is trying to stretch out the last episodes as much as they can. It is very frustrating! How much dumber can the writers make Eva and Dan? Why does Leo continue to get away with everything? The previews looked promising with Alicia mentioning to Eva that Leo has a lover ( at least this is what I understood) and Eva hesitating with continuing with the wedding plans. We can only hope that more progress will be made tonight. Love your recaps!

Morning everyone-
Thanks for the nice comments. Yes, this episode was quite dull, so it wasn't hard to get the recap up swiftly. I agree that they seem to now be stretching out the final episodes, possibly to get us to some magical end date that they have yet to announce.

I really enjoyed Marci being gaslighted-- if you didn't already notice my glee (bwahahaha!). I think Renata has found her calling.

Both Eva and Dan are being pretty dim right now. But once again, all this serves to stretch the last episodes out. Anon 7:43, since I only watched the episode once while taking notes I might have misheard the previews (I was a bit zoned out by then anyway). You might be right that Alicia said Leo has a lover, and not that she has one. Either way, it seems to give Eva pause. Let's hope it gets some hampsters running on her brain wheel finally.

I'm excited that it looks like Deb (who does seem to have a hampster on her brain wheel) gainining access to the house will help solve some of the mysteries and bring some truths to light. Go Deb Go! But don't get yourself killed in the process.

To Audrey: I have Eva Luna still listed as late as 3/28; that is the latest day my guide lists anything, so it actually may still be going later than that. Hard to imagine that they will find ways to stretch the story that late. Does anyone know when "Teresa" is supposed to start?

This last episode wasn't too bad, but it was pretty low-key for the most part. On the other hand, we didn't get a flashback every five seconds.

Any doubt I had that Tony's somehow going to die (or at least get really messed up) got wiped out with this episode. Between his mending fences with Marisol and Jackie and Alicia continuing to soften towards him...yeah, he's doomed.

And Marcie's screw-it-I'm-eating-the-props-now freakout was great on its own, but that brief shot of Renata's "Serves you right" smile was a wonderful punctuation mark. Almost made me forget that she still has to out Victoria's parentage, though that's not nearly as important IMHO as THE GLOVE apparently finally being explained (yay avances!).

ViviDC: Super recap! Will try to comment later. Thanks for subbing!

Since Julio is too focused on his own gaslighting plan to think about it, I think we should try to figure out who has been sending Marci those anonymous notes. Since the only other person who knew Marci has been poisoning Julio from the beginning is the corrupt family doctor, I think it's him or one of his employees. Any other theories?

Was it just me or did any of you thought something was going to happen to Ricardo? I kept thinking he was going to have a heart attack while carrying that tv, lol.. he seemed tired and winded, poor old guy.
I want to see a scene between Laurita and Pablito, they need to meet soon.
I think Tony will end up with Alicia, he won't get killed, but soon, I hope he tells or shows Eva the bedroom pictures Leo took of her.
Justa and Julio are messed up.. I don't want to see a break up between Ricardo and Justa because of Adriancito, these two are providing a stable home for him.

Vivi! wonderful recap. You are so talented. I'm wondering about the letters too. I hadn't thought about the doctor, but once it did cross my mind that it could actually be Leo, in a megalomaniacal grab for all the power. I think he's more evil than his mamá. But I haven't been on board from the beginning, so there's a lot I don't know. Just a hunch.

Vivi in DC
That is Bruno. He is making Marcela crazier. Remember when he opened her work table he found Julio's letter. jjablan

jjablan- Those anonymous notes weren't from Julio. The only letters Julio sent were the ones that gave her specific instructions and came from the lawyers. The ones she's been receiving with the cut out block letters, like the one Bruno saw, are from some other mysterious person. Remember, the one Bruno saw just said she was a murderer. It was the second such letter she had received since Julio's death. The one sent later in the box to the house got more specific (which was the third anonymous letter she received). Bruno wouldn't know enough details to send something like that.

Quick and great recap!
Rossana I also thought Ricardo was going to have a heart attack..he carried the pizza, then TV..I thought the writers were setting him up...

Does anyone know if Teresa is replacing Eva Luna? Same time etc?

Vivi in DC thanks for explaining it. I was thinking that letter which Bruno found is from Julio. You are right because only that bad DR knows about poison. jjablan.

Vivi,

I think the person sending the letters now are Renata. without DJulio knowing. I don't think bruno told his kissing cousin about the letter he found.

I was also a little disappointed because Eva is no closer to the truth about Dan and Leo.

Marcie's freakout was great! She better not be dead yet because we want more of this.

I also suspect Leo of sending the letters. Does nobody look at the postmarks on these things? Bruno doesn't know enough despite having the motive. Besides, Leo being the guilty party is great karmic payback for Murderous Marcie.

Where's Chico? We haven't seen him in a while. Yesterday I saw a dog just like him in my neighborhood -- wearing a dog Snuggie!

wow! hopefully this will work. i ahve been trying to post for an hour now...
if you look hard at the previews it shows Alicia saying 'has an amante' and then we see Leo telling Eva he made arrangements with the 'parroco' (priest) for their wedding... and Eva saying 'sorry, Leo'...
this is all after Eva questions Alicia what she is doing in Leo's room, so i am hoping Alicia has hinted Eva that Leo might or does have a lover... and now Eva is more reluctant to marry him (at least by church)...
I too thought something was odd with Ricardo showing so much struggle carrying around the bowl of punch, the pizzas and the tv...
hopefully he won't be the one dying first...
and yes I loved how Renata was enjoying Julio making Cruella go crazy... but it is odd that now Renata is so 'informal/familiar' with Julio, she used to call him Don Julio... and now she seems to be a buddy-buddy with him. I know she is teaming up with him to punish Cruella, but I find it odd that she can change her way of relating to him that quickly.

My guess as to who else is teasing Cruella with the box and the doll is Renata herself...

and it was a GOOD thing Dano resisted the temptation with Lilleach, who looked more like a leach last night than ever before...

My Dishnetwork schedule says Eva Luna is still running 3/30/2011

Hi Vivi. Add me to the list of folks who are impressed with your recap. And I know Pata was glad to have you sub. Life DOES get in the way of recapping sometimes.

Lovely shot of the birthday cake. And who wouldn't mind having some extra cakes around!

Sounds like your story is getting stretched out while our Llena de Amor is being shortened and mutilated for purposes of schedule. Neither alternative is good for the viewers.

Martaivett, I love your comments. I was wondering if we know that Dan actually left Lilliana's room last night, my TV left him standing there still weakly arguing that he had to leave now. Did he leave??
And, I need this clarified. I thought those cut out letters were at first Julio's, because he was laughing about Marzilla's reaction to them and fully aware of them. However, the package with the doll was totally not from Julio. Now, I think that was from Renata-especially since she has thought bubbled that she wants to have her own revenge.
There was one scene where Bruno found one of those letters and thought bubbled he might make use of this...But I didn't see any evidence that he sent any of the letters himself. But I wonder if he might use the fact to blackmail Marzilla now to stop her from killing him.
It does seem that the gaslighting of Marzilla has taken on a life of it's own, doesn't it.

The only letters we saw Julio laughing about were the letters that came from the lawyers. We never saw him ever mention the anonymous letters, we just assumed they were from him. When Renata mentioned to him the letter and box, both he and she were surprised. She assumed he sent it. So there is obviously someone else who is not Julio or Renata that is trying to drive Marci batty with her crime of poisoning and "killing" Julio.

Vivi! You are amazing!!! Excellent recap and gracias!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed watching Cruella have her fit!!! We do need her to hang around and face the music, though, but this slow taunting of her is prima!

The Liliana Leech was too pathetic...thankfully, Dano's thought processes were still working.

Rossana: I, too, wondered about Don R...I thought he was going to faint right then and there. Maybe he is another one who is not going to make it.

Bill C: agree with your thoughts re Tony. I just can't see this one making it to the end. I still do not think he is genuine. He was abusive to Spandex Alica before...what in the world would make him change...especially with the crowd of characters that constitute his 'friends'?!

What I don't like is Eva still unable to think clearly with all that is happening around her. Why in the world is she not going to either Don J or Deborah for advice?

She's still letting this emotion of her father's death overrule common sense.

JudyB: ITA about dragging things out in the TN or cutting them so much that some of the scenes do not make sense. I have very peripherally been watching Llena...honestly, there are some times I feel totally lost! Do you think they are rushing it in order to get "Teresa" up and running?

Susanita

Jardinera--I was busy for the past couple of days.

I went back and reviewed what the lawyer said to Dan while in the clink about the car.

He did say "selling the car soon after the accident." I think the writer who wrote those lines for him hadn't checked to see how long Dan had actually kept the car after the accident.

We know it was in his garage for a long time when Leo saw it and remembered about the accident. We know Dan drove it to the shopping center where Eva was working in the restaurant.

It's all moot now, of course, and only Vicky can clear Dan.

Leo made a big mistake confessing to LilLeach--and he's so sure that the case won't go forward. We'll see.

Will comment on last night's episode later when I've caught up.
Una Nte

There are two shows they have announced as coming "soon" (whatever that means)--Teresa and Una Familia con Suerte. I just can't imagine that they would put Teresa on at 7 and the comedy on at 8. It seems that they would likely replace a comedy with a comedy (UFCS for LLDA) and a drama with a drama (Teresa for Eva). But, it has been done before-- Mi Pecado on at 7 and HQEDNS on at 8.

Vivi, thank you so much for doing this recap, you are always great.

I think Renata is sending the letters. She does know about the poison, Don Julio told her. The other person could be a family memberof the other housekeeper that Eva replaced. Whoever it is, I just hope that keep it up.

The birthday party was wonderful and what a loving gesture to have a cake for each year he missed having a party.

OT: A friend that follows the TNs a lot more than we do, said Univision has a new program director which is why we have this strange schedule.

Rosemary

UnaNorte, Vicky is not the only one that can testify against Leo, Lileach knows the truth now, Leo told her he killed Eva's dad last night.
About the letters, I don't think it's Renata, because the letters were sent before she found out from DJ that Marcela tried to kill him, I also doubt it's Bruno.. but it could be the other maid, the one that got fired,or DJ doctor lol

Vivi--You are the queen of alliteration. Great recap, as always.

We were denied the Eva confrontation with Leo and Alicia actually kissing. Bummer.

We were denied Laurita being introduced to Pablito as her half-brother. Bummer.

We were denied Dan showing up at Adriancito's birthday party. Bummer

I agree with Anon with all those kids running around--it was distracting. Too many people there. Laurita's birthday party was better organized. Well, Justa's had her mind on other things.

Instead, we had to watch Liliana drape herself all over Dan and actually begin smooching with him. Bummer.

Those lips of Dan's belong to Eva. No one else should be kissing them from now on.

I kept yelling at him, Dan get up, go home, get up, go home--then I realized he had a loca waiting for him at home and not Eva.

About the extra notes being from Leo. I truly (unfortunately) think Leo really cares for his mother. Does he actually know that Marcela poisoned Julio to death? He knows how she arranged Vicky's attempted suicide and the loss of Claudia's baby, but probably not any others.

I tend to agree, at this juncture, that it is Renata, at least the note with the doll. We saw her face last night; she wants Marcela to suffer more.

Remember Marcela told Renata to forget about the house in Mexico that Don Julio left her, so she knows what kind of person Marcela is.

As to coming around to the right side so quickly, Renata never knowingly hurt Don Julio. She had been in love with him for a long time. As a servant in the household (her choice to stay near Julio), she would have had to follow Marcela's orders.

What Renata seems to be coming around to is that Eva is not the roach she wanted to step on at first being glad she found her mother was sincere (as well as Dan's innocence).

She needs to carry this feeling one step forward and let Don Julio and Justa know that Vicky is alive and theirs and she needs their HELP, NOW, before she carries out another crazy plan.

Rossana--LilLeach's testimony would not be permitted in court. That would be considered hearsay (third party). But it might be enough to make Leo back off.

Before Eva changes her mind about Leo, she will have to see for herself one of his trampas. I still wonder why they pictures haven't shown up. This would really give her a wake-up call.

Tony is the key. He still has the second set of photos.

Consider this: Tony shows Eva the photos. Eva confronts Leo. Leo is furious and kills Tony. Leo is arrested for murder. He is convicted and goes to jail, where one of el Gallo's goons cripples him for life.

Then, Eva goes back to Dan and they get to be happy for 1/2 an episode. Alicia ends up with Carlos. Deb is happy.

Marisol's career is just about over before it starts, poor thing--and she had such promise, too. Maybe Gerrardo will have pity on her and find some other line of work for her (back-up singer, maybe?).

Fran and Jacky decide they are "maid" for each other.

LilLeach has to be unmasked as Leonardo's accomplice.

Vicky really goes bonkers when she finds out DJ and Justa are her parents, but through the miracle of modern medicine and money, she recovers (oops, I forgot about Sabrina and the face cream--she has to be punished for that first).

DonJ or Ricado kicks the bucket so Justa can be with one of them legitimately.

Adriancito and Laurita go to the same school and fall in love as teenagers.

Tilde and Renata go back to Mexico and Renata retires to the house Don Julio gives her--again. She opens up a B&B for all the folks from LA who want to visit. Oh, and they have apples at breakfast, also apple cake, apple waffles, apple sauce, apple fritters, apple pie, etc. etc. from the apple business near Tilde's house.

Armando the chauffer and Aurelia the decent maid get together.

Chico gets a Chica.
Una Nrte

Una Norte: !!!!! Love it!!!

Susanita

Una Norte: ROTFL!
That being said, did Tony keep some of those photos? I remember him giving them to Leo, after having looked at them. If he still has some I wish he would produce them and show them to Eva.
Poor Dan, his fate is in Icky's and Lilleach's hands. Of course either one might have a motive to keep him out of jail. (Hearsay not withstanding, this is TN world where the rule of law is seldom followed).

Una Norte,

LMAO you are way to good with writing your list.

The person who is sending those letters to Marcie who is not Julio is the brother of the first maid Maricela killed in the first week of the show when she started questioning if the medicine was hurting Don J (killed walking home I think). Her brother confronted her in the office and after she calmed him down she gave him "cafe" with the poison in it. He gets sick while driving and crashes as Marcie drives by laughing. They never mention what happened to the brother but he had figured out that he was poisoned right before he crashed.

I'm sure it's that guy.

Pancho- Great theory!!!! We never did actually see him die after the car crash.

Pancho--I love your theory, too, but why would the brother wait almost 2 years before starting his crusade to drive her nuts.

So, tonight Deb starts to take off Marcie's glove. Will we all keep our eyes open to see?????
Una Nte

Una NorteAm: Thanks for going back and clarifying that for me. I really wondered and couldn't do anything on my own.

As for my guess about the mystery letter-writer, I wonder if it couldn't be Aurelia(?), the cook who Eva used to confide in and who Marci let go a bit after Eva disappeared for good. Otherwise, I say Bruno or Renata.

Una NorteAmer just like Carlos was "gone" that guy too came back the guy was probably in recovery for most of those 2 years

I loved Don Julio's black coat with the collar turned up when he was haunting Marcie. Like Dracula!

I believe Tony kept at least one photo, i remember him pulling it out of his pocket or looking at it AFTER he had given the othes to Leo.
