Go Isabel, take over the Guevara palacio & throw Diego's cula en la calle. I was afraid that Marina was believing the lies about Andrés, but Isabel cleared that up.

I am POéd though, it's ok for Luis to have an amante, not to mention Perla, but pobre Esperanza will probably be subject to the inquisition for being raped. It ain't fair!
 

Thanks, Paula and Carlos. That photo is a loving testament to the true love and affection between Luis and his Tia Isabel. I couldn't catch all of the conversation between Luis and Hip. I thought the words between Juana and Tony were interesting. I think she asked him if he and Hip would have their own children, and he quickly told her that he could do that. Francisco is dreadful asshat but pretty cagey. I think he suspects that Diego framed Andres and wants Andres to blackmail Diego. Andres refused saying that Diego is dangerous. Felipe and Marcos also seem to have Diego's number, but they are trying to figure out why he hates Luis so much.
 

It wasn't that Diego framed Andrés, Juana told Esperanza to pick anyone BUT Diego, not sure though how she thought of Andrés. Maybe it was Diego that brought him up?????????

Yes, I thoought that when Diego, Espy, and Mirtha were in her room, Diego suggested Andres as the rapist. An I right ?
 

Yes Susanlynn, you're right. Espe didn't even know who Andres was. Diego told her the name and told her who he is.

Oh boy, Isabel learns she's the wealthiest person in the house AND the woman who keeps lording crap over her now owes her 20 yrs worth of interest that she conveniently forgot to mention to Isabel. This is just too good to be true.

Marina acts like a silly girl but she sure impressed Isabel with her idea to purchase the palace. I like the Isa/Marina team. They're very cute.

Variopinta, Adalberto Parra is the guy who is spying for La Poderosa? I don't know much about the actor except that he seems to be in everything. In this episode he was looking for the two guys who paid Victoria to ship Hipolita back to Panama. He was also interested to discover that Gasca is somehow involved in the mix.

About the rapist... they went down the list: Vicente, Gasca, etc. Diego said they couldn't pick those because the child wouln't be that ugly. so, he suggested Andres because Andres is not as ugly and eh wasn't around anymore. Esperanza didn't even know who Andres was. Adalberto Parra, I think his name is Iginio? Is La Poderosas's spy. He's trying to find out info about Hip, the two guys that kidnap Hip, Luis, and know about Gasca. He's a "good" guy in this one.
 

Funny how they would include Vicente on the list of "that ugly". The guy is a stone fox.
 

Vicente is played by Edgardo Tejeda. He also played El Costeño the boxing coach on Un Gancho Al Corazon. Ooh la la we got to see plenty of his guapo-ness and superior physique in that one.
 

Edgardo plays the artist love interest of the sister in Destilando Amor. In parts of it he gets to play the only perosn showing any intelligence or good sense. I love him in that. But in Alborada he adds elegance and guaponess to the servant group and seems to be trusted and intelligent here too.

I have been in and out so much this week I feel like I need to go back and pay attention to the La Poderosa and Victoria material. It is kind of confusing although from the first playing of it I know how it works out. The details in the beginning of their roles are indeed interesting
though.

I was just cruising through Wikipedia and IMDB wondering what had become of el guapisimo Luis Roberto Guzmán and made the connection for the first time that he is even better known ofr his later role El Pantera. I only have seen some of these episodes but always enjoyed the previews wondering who this guapo stranger could be. A case of WHO KNEW! gee I am stunned.
 

Luis Roberto Guzmán is also better known for his role in the movie Ladies Night where he played a stripper. Here's the trailer if you want to see part of his, umm, habilities. He also looks pretty yummy in the music video and at minute 2, wow.

The man can dance, Luis Roberto Guzmán that is. I love re-watching the Cristina after shows with him cutting up the stage with Daniela Romo. Funny thing though—Fernando, for all his other stellar attributes refused to participate in this. He seemed very shy and self-conscious.
