Paula, I'm so glad you posted this before I take off for the weekend.

Carlos, I was hoping you would share the picture of Mirtha and Marina. I liked the scene on so many levels. It added a bit more depth to Mirtha in that Sara trusted her to accompany Marina. I think Sara is a shrewd judge of character and she doesn't do many things by accident. It also showed Marina that she is in a new role that requires decision-making, something I doubt she has ever done before. Marina lived her life at the mercy of others, now she is in the position to show mercy; how will she handle it? Finally, I couldn't help but giggle at the statuesque Mirtha pleading with the mousy Marina. I'm sure that's why she had to kneel, otherwise she would have towered over Marina.

Thanks Paula and Carlos!

I forgot to add that I think the picture of Isabel is very haunting and beautiful. Nice job on both counts, Carlos.

Tks so much Paula y Carlos.

I think Juana will come clean knowing that she & Diego are both
going to die. I hope she gets a promise to protect Modesta. Modesta loves Juana & is loyal & even almost committing murder.
She & Mirtha are at the mercy of the rich & powerful.
Very touching when she wept over Juana.

Mirtha: "What do you mean, I'm too tall to be your flower girl? What if I scrunch down like this?"

Marina's a nice kid. She's inexperienced, but she doesn't have an unkind bone in her body. It's not just because Marina's been at the mercy of others, but also because her family has been hurt by lethal bigotry. She can't leave Mirtha to the same fate.

Wasn't Isabel a pistol in this episode? And poor Christobal, surrounded by so much emotion.

I wonder how many episodes before Sara pipes up with her information?

Cindy

It's driving me crazy, Cindy. This whole thing could be sorted out in 30 seconds if Sara (or Victoria) were to speak up. Maybe after the wedding?

Julie,

It has to happen soon. Not much show left. I am more than ready for the Antonio bull-headedness to be ended!

Cindy

I'm ready for a lot of things to happen!

I've been thinking about how Diego and Juana getting punished with sickness. I wish diseases were as selective in real life.

I still wonder about Modesta. Obviously there is real mutual affection between her and Juana. Modesta is faithful and dutiful, and Juana couldn't do without her, so I can understand that side of it. However, I don't really see why Modesta should be so fond of Juana.
