Today's episode is covered in Melinama's Recap #33, Wednesday segment, at this link.

On YouTube, haguilar78's clips for Cap 84 start at this link.

Thank you, Carlos, for today's pictures.

I'm having trouble posting to the sidebar. It wants me to register a NEW Delicious account. Can anyone post it for me?

Paula, I can't sign into the Delicious account either. This has to be posted to Delicious through the Caray account. There's no way that I know of to post it to the Caray account through a different account.

Either Delicious is being goofy again, or someone changed the password.

Audrey, regarding your comment on yesterday's episode, I think we have a good excuse to ask Luis to take his pants off. We need to get a good look at that scar on his leg to verify that is genuine and of the highest quality!

Julie! LOL! Definitely a good reason.....

Yeah, they have spent a LOT of time on the wedding details and some other incidental "background" like scenes, like Modesta traveling in the carriage. I read somewhere that they were required to add a couple of weeks. Since this plot has moved at such a lightening pace, we barely notice a slow down which is usually painfully noticeable in other novelas. Personally, I've really been enjoying the slightly slower pace with lots of background details footage. It's really high class "padding"!

I like Diego's wife. I don't know why Isabel doesn't (maybe I'm missing something). Obviously she's a bad match for him, but I LOVED that instead of letting Diego's insults affect her self-esteem, she demanded more respect from him AND griped to Juana about it. Not too many people have dared to do that! Brava!

Paula, I see that Jardinera did a post this morning and she seems to be the last one. If she did not sign our of the account would it then block it to the rest of it? I just tried to enter and cannot either.

I'd like to see the scar, too!

Two more fun pictures. Thank you Carlos.

I also thought Diego's wife acted wonderfully when she complained to Juana. She behaved like a normal person. It just seemed like unusual behavior because nobody else in that house dares go against Diego or Juana.

Oh no! Another duel? I suppose it was inevitable between those two but this is sure to upset our already perpetually upset heroine even further!

Thank you Paula and Carlos.

Delicious allows multiple sign ins on the same account - I can even be signed on from two different computers at the same time in the same house! (Except not today. :-P)

I feel bad for Diego's wife. She married him to become a Countess and that rug can get pulled right out from under her. He's an abusive degenerate and now he's insulting her.

Good for her that she spoke up to Juana.

I mentioned this in a thread for La Pola, but it bears repeating here: If you get Latele Novela Network, they will shortly be showing Siete Mujeres. I totally recommend it.

Sylvia, good point that Mrs. Diego is just asking like a normal person, which seems so odd in this context!

Urban A, point taken about her Contessa status. However, I am assuming that Luis or Cristobal or maybe even Isabel will have mercy on her since she is not only blameless, but so far quite delightful.

Regarding Mrs. Diego's size, which was questioned a few weeks ago, I understood (but perhaps I am wrong about this period) that throughout most of history, a slim figure was not particularly prestigious for a woman, and a full-figured wife was not only aesthetically preferable, but a greater status symbol, at least among the nobility (though I guess I should point out that Diego isn't really nobility, LOL!).

After Diego's nose falls off (don't ask; it's something I read in a Stephen King novel) and he eventually dies, I imagine that Luis or Cris will hook her up with someone who appreciates her. I would certainly enjoy a good outcome for a normal-acting person!

Diego's new wife (Luisa?) played the situation just right. A lesser woman (no pun intended) would have started bawling after he insulted her, and likely would have begged. She knows what she's worth, has no self esteem issues (he should have chosen someone skinny if that's what floats his boat), and is calling the shots (she won't share his bed until he's ready to play nice). She was also quite playful in the bedroom, so it's not like she's some frigid, timid girl. Hopefully, another husband will be waiting in the wings once Diego meets his maker.

Antonio is digging his own grave by declaring that he'll never let Hip go, and challenging Luis to a duel.

Why is everyone still trying to get the truth out of Juana? They all know the truth at this point. No way will she fess up an dput her precious son's position at risk.

Is this duel supposed to be a typical first-blood deal, or are they seriously considering a fight to the death? Because it seems to me that Antonio won't be satisfied until someone is dead.
