Elena is a real dummy. Does she really plan to get busy with Freddy in Brazil, or will she try to find ways to put him off again? It won't be so easy to run away there, like she did last time.
I think it's hilarious the way that not only Pina babies Freddy, but also Vince. Every time he calls Freddy nene (baby) it makes me laugh. Pina and Vince in the gym also cracked me up. When Pina/Daniela got on that machine, I could tell Sergio was having a hard time keeping a straight face. The two of them are enjoying playing there roles immensely.
Thanks for your lists!
Melinama, a lot of the phrases and words are actually in my dictionary. Some of them I find by googling. And every day there are at least a couple I can't find at all and don't list, so I don't know if I misheard them (and the captioner did, too) or the character is just making things up.
Pina on the exercise equipment was a hoot. I don't know how any of the other actors get through these scenes with her. Her babying Freddy is really funny, too.
Chela should totally give Chacho a chance. He's so attentive to her. His biggest flaw is that he's always hanging out with Big Boy.
ITA that Chela should give Chacho a chance. I also hope Candy and Lupita stop encouraging her. If it wasn't for her fabulous cooking skills and all the close-ups of the dishes that I get to see, I'd totally give up on her.
I'm getting curious about Manuel now. It would be fine with me if we spent more time on these side plots and less on Chela crying. When Ana walked in, he was playing Moonlight Sonata, I think, which would indicate he'd had formal piano lessons, but he denied that to Ana.
Too funny with Vicente having problems with the weights, the biceps belie that, Ennzo looks good also.
I don't think Freddy & Elena will get off the ground. Why on earth would Ana be interested in him? I hope the band has someone worthy of her affection.
Variopinta
Julia, the recap and vocab are just super! Cute title too. I agree, what does Ana see in stupid Freddy with those cute band members around her. I, too, think Manuel was playing the moonlight sonata. He's so mysterious!
Pina was a hoot in this episode. Sergio's not the only one who finds it hard to maintain in her presence. The actor who plays Freddy looked like he was on the verge of cracking up during his packing scene.
Niece, I LOVE the food scenes in this show. Wednesday they were eating Pastel Azteca which I had first heard of in Querida Enemiga. I've gotten quite a few dishes to add to my repertoire thanks to our beloved telenovelas.
