Caray, Caray!

I tried to snark up this episode with a little humor aimed at El Viral. She is a gasbag with all her spewing about that stupid El Cheque, anything for money. She is worse than Tia Rosuara over there at LQPNA except without the murderous intent.

I feel bad for Cameela but I don't. She needs to stand on her own two feet and fight for the man she loves. She knows all of Pedro's past history. She should have talked to Mariana more.

Thanks for the recap Madelaine. I'm with you about having ambivalence towards Cami. While she is being whiny and definitely having a pity party, I don't know why Mariana thought they could chat as pals. Mariana has been hanging around El Tal for a few days and could have stopped things before the wedding (though it would have prevented the interrupted wedding clique). Cami is not stable enough at this point to talk with Mariana even if it would possibly clear things up. I willing to let Cami recover from her wedding disaster but if she willing moves toward Tony, she's dead to me.

I'm kind of vexed with Mariana's "I have to stop this wedding but won't stay around to talk to anyone after I've caused all this calamity." She let Tony manipulate her like a wind-up toy and didn't think about the consequences of her actions. Are we supposed to believe her amnesia has also clouded basic rational thought as well. Like Vivi said, she trusts the man who shows all signs of being an alcoholic and a woman with hair that is a crime over the nice guy in the white suit. Whatever.

Thank goodness Manuel keeps telling her to stop trusting the Negete family. And her interactions with Pedro (the little that she had) were not of a person who would harm her. Get a clue chica.

On a positive note, I was happy Army didn't try to make a deal with Lucrazy. He hasn't made the best decisions in this TN so I was pleased (but Angel was coaching him too).
 

Super recap Madelaine. You did a fine job snarking it up with ElViral and MIO. Elvira is a true gasbag, but I don't know where she gets her refills because the hot air just keeps blowing. She's a hoot because she gets a completely rational look on her face then blammo, out spew the tonterias. She sure looked nice in her wedding togs though.

I love how you always lead in with "Now wait for it...es MIO".

Karen, I was also shocked that Armando wouldn't cut a deal with LuKrazy, only because every decision he makes is utterly stupid. I think you are right about Angel coaching him, the kid is starting to wise up.

I wish Tia Maria would come home and help Cameela and Mariana have a conversation. That's too much to hope for I guess.

The Padre asking people not to gossip...bwahahaha! Obviously he does not know that gossiping is the #1 pastime at both El Tal and El Trash.
 

I forgot to say that Santiago eats like a little pig. I am even more convinced that he is a true Piglet.
 

I love how Flo paused in her browbeating of Army to say "oh hiiiii Angel." Definitely some potential there. And yes, crazy Elvira looked fabulous in that new dress!
 

But when did Lucrazy figure out that F & F's secret boyfriend was Camila's brother? It seems as if that should have made more of an explosion.

Cami was way out of line. She knew how Pedro, et al had looked for Mariana, she should have been delighted that she was still alive. The formal wedding could have been put on hold without all of the histrionics. (I really didn't like the dress she chose. I liked the first one she tried on.)

I am beginning to think that ElViral and Pigorio were twins separated at birth with all of their, ready now, MIOs.

I loved how Army finally grew his avacadoes and told Flor the truth. I liked how Flor greeted Angel too. It was cute but right back to the arguing. I'm glad Army told Flor he only loved Fabi, so now Flor is clear on that, but I don't think she liked the venganza excuse Army gave her.

I liked Elviral's togs too, but the hat not so much. I hate to say it, but it looked like a pimp hat, just saying.

Blue Lass I don't know how Lucrazy found out about Army but she listens at corners and the gossip is rampant there so maybe that is how she found out.
 

Madelaine, since Elvira pimped out her own son and is not above pimping out her daughter too, well that hat is appropriate, si?
 

I'm with you Cap'n about the gossip. That's all they do in Fresno, it seems. Santiago was scarfing that food. It seems like he only went to Mariana's to eat and run lol.

Great recap, Madelaine. This episode is both fun and frustrating.

Today Camila proved to be almost as much of a nitwit as her mom. She all but asked poor Mariana why couldn't she have just stayed dead. Way to make someone feel welcome. Isn't Mariana the one with the money as well as the owner of El Talisman?

The early scene with the Pig and Pancho held out such promise. The medical machine that Pancho was diddling with was the defibrillator. Drat... a missed opportunity for some sparks. Pig said, "... and stop that, you're going to break it or electrocute yourself." I was hoping for a bit of the latter.

I was disappointed in Pedro, too. When he picked up Camila's wedding dress off the bed... he didn't sniff it. What kind of galan is that? I'll bet that Tony would have.

Blue Lass, I agree, Flo's "oh hiiiii Angel." was so cute.

This looks like a fun one! Sorry I missed it (forgot to move the antenna in it's proper Univision place). I may have to look it up just to Elvira's pimp hat. Cap'n is right. She's pimped out everyone else; she could give Bridgette a run for her money. Hey! Career option for Elvira! If she worked anyway.

I still don't see how being back at the apartment with her mother is better than the guest house of El Tal. Seems like the fertilizer shack of El Tal would be better than any space with her mother.

But it seems like Angel is back to work as a real life angel / brain for Armando. He should go for Flor. She seems like she'd be fun when not pining over some fake twin.

Karen so agree with you about Mariana. She stops the wedding and does stay to talk. I can't beleive either that she continues to listen to Tonio. Even Manuel told her to stop.

Cap'n I'm with you too about Maria mediating a meeting between Mariana and Cameela when they are both calm and will listen to each other.

Rosemary Primera with you about Pigorio and El Viral. They should be twins with Mio Cheque and Mio Alcatrash.

And Cap'n I don't know where she is getting the refills but I have a feeling it builds up in her body and she just has to release when it is about to burst her body. lol.

Carlos you are so right about Mariana. She does own El Tal and has all money. All her assets are still frozen and Pedro has never been able to touch them. He used the money that El Tal generated to keep it going.
 

I can just picture Elvira as a madame, following the johns around the sala: "El cheque? Tienes el cheque? Me debes un cheque. Mi cheque. Donde esta mi cheque? Dame el cheque." They could call it THE CHEQUE RANCH. JAJAJAJAJA.

I wonder what happened to Pigorio's lust for El Tal. He hasn't done anything lately to try to get it. He did in the beginning all the time. Maybe he is too focused on El Alcatrash es Mio. lol
 

Madelaine, Pigorio has been very distracted lately with Doris always following him around trying to seduce him, Tony trying to poison him, granddaughters not obeying him, servants and employees double-crossing him, illegitimate son constantly sniveling and snorting around him.
