Caray, Caray!

We begin with Eva trying to fix her false eyebrow in Helena's bathroom. After an evening of BFF bonding and fly swatting on her face. She doesn't have her handbag. She removes her false eyelashes. Helena checks on Eva, who assures her that everything is fine. Eva's wig inadvertently goes into the toilet and Eva decides that the only alternative is to tell Helena the truth. He/She removes her makeup.

We are at the restaurant with Fernando and Manuela treating the family to dinner. Daughter Jennifer is thrilled at being in the restaurant. The son, Kevin is happy too. There is nothing better to a parent than happy teenagers.!!! Marsela says that your father and I have always wanted to be in a position to eat out at good places. Isn’t that true, flaco? He is still trying to find his damaged ego. Marsela tries to explain to the kids the parts of the menu and is corrected by Fernando. A Licenciado Vargas recognizes Marsela and comes over to the table and gives glowing accolades about Marsela to the family while an insecure Fernando looks on. She introduces her family. The man seems to ignore Fernando. The kids are proud of their mom, while Fernando just stands there.

Pluto comes home from Jacuzzi time with Rebeca to a distraught Antonia.

Eva is washing her face ready to face the music, - calling out to a sleeping Helena. Only Jaime Camil can pull this part off. The man’s face in a dress- he is the best!! Juan Carlos tells Helena that he loves her with all of his soul and kisses her. I felt his pain. He lovingly covers her up with a blanket and leaves.

We are back at Patti's house - Santiago once again asks her to marry him after her parents remind him of their names. (And you want him as a part of your family because?... ) Santiago gives a speech beginning with -as humans we all make mistakes. Her impatient father says we've heard this already; lets get this over with already and give her the ring. Patti says yes!!!! Santiago can't find the ring- "sike" he was only joking but no one was laughing. I would like to take this time to say that we will have a simple, intimate wedding. The argument starts- is it simple or sophisticated and in good taste? Santiago thought that it would be family and close friends while Patti is gasping for air!!

Back at the Ibaffi Restaurant. The kids think that the food is delicious and the family has a little binding time minus Fernando who feels disrespected in regards to the conversation with Jennifer about having a boyfriend. Kevin is off of the team and wants to do something artistic against his father's wishes. Fernando reminds Marsela not to usurp his authority in front of the kids. Oh oh the check, Fernando the insecure one pays the check because Marsela should hold her money he is the patriarch!!! Thank you, Daddy!

Patti gives it to Santiago- how can you think of something intimate when he has stood her up already??? Are you trying to stand me up again? I want the works, so ask your parents for the money. Hmm- Santiago's cell rings- its Angelica- his jump off!

Oh no-Fernando's card was declined!!!! Marsela paid for the check!!!! Fernando believes that she is continuing to humiliate him. To add fuel to the fire- Licenciado Vargas bids good night to the family but not before planting a kiss on Marsela's cheek. That was the straw that broke the camel's back for Fernando. He was going to go after him, Marsela intercepted and Fernando is told to sit down and shut up and do not start a scandal. Talk about feeling disrespected!!!! I am so glad that Eva/Juan will be the key to this novela. I know that it's not true of all men, BUT all of the men in this story are portrayed, as are either two timing womanizers or insecure liars. I am glad that Juan Carlos/ Eva is learning first hand how to conduct himself like a real man through the eyes of a woman.

The next morning- Helena is telling Lucia - she is lucky that Diego thought back and signed the contracts. Helen and Lucia are planning for her first day at work at GI. They are unstoppable. Lucia tells her that she will leave the single life and get married to Mauricio, her latest love. Helena warns her to take it easy and don't suffer in love, its hard. She spoke about how she dreamed of Juan Carlos and that he kissed her tenderly on the lips, she felt him get close to her. It was a dream and she was thinking about him because it’s his birthday. She's in love with someone who is not there, she still loves him but she has to forget about him.

Helena goes to Juan's grave with a single red rose, while a hooded Juan is watching and listening. Juan Carlos, you miserable man, I'm not sure if I'm doing the right thing in coming to see you in spite of everything that you did to me, I awoke thinking that if you were alive; today would have been your birthday. I feel stupid in trying to find explanations about everything that happened, why did you play with my life, my dreams, why??

Uh oh here comes the jump off, #1- she says- Juan Carlos- no one understood or attended to me like you, not even my useless husband, Happy Birthday, don't forget your Duchess! The jump off parade begins, #1, then #2 ; I'll never forget that I was your princess- you were my first, you taught me so much- she sings the Happy Birthday song in English. Juan Carlos can’t believe what he is seeing! She leaves her bra!!!! Jump off #1 asks #2 - who are you supposed to be? I am the woman that he loved and it goes on and on. #1tells #2 that Juan Carlos was a ladies'' man but he only loved one woman, me!!! Jump off #3 comes, and she is #2's aunt- she is asked what are you doing here? He treated me like a queen, like I was the only one. Helena can’t believe her eyes, neither could I. Two more drunken jump offs come with a mariachi band. Que viva Juan Carlos!!!!!

Helena stops the "party". She can't believe it. The party continues. OMG. There are at least a 100 jump offs that come literally out of the woods to wish him happy birthday as Juan Carlos says that Helena is the only woman that he loves. When will she pardon him???

Mimi asks Juan why would you go to the cemetery dressed as a man. Why risk it? I wanted to see if Helena would forgive me. She explained that Helena is no fool, and she thinks that you are dead. She tells him not to start crying and makes a reference to the clown portrait on the wall.

Marsela serves a mad, insecure Fernando some coffee and chile quiles for breakfast. Fernando feels unwanted, ignored and disregarded. Marsela feels that she is intelligent enough and can carry some of the weight at home. Marsela's sin is that she is too smart-huh??

Helena feels like a fool for loving someone a Don Juan who has had so many women even the more senior ones. I'm an idiot, fool, etc. etc.

Santiago and Angelica have spent the night and she asks him if he is back with Patti. He says that he is. He has to respect her and he can't just come for booty calls. I'm a lady.-really??

Adriano is ecstatic at the board meeting thanks to Helena getting the signed contract. The Majagua Beach project is connected with La Costa Airlines. It took time but it's done. Thanks to Helena. Helena thanked her team and Eva said that as a team we are at your service. Adriano will, assign more projects to her. Marsela congratulated Helena and Helena thanked her for help. Marsela can't explain it but since she (Helena) has been with the company she has given the women a voice. Pluto wanted to see Helena in his office. Rebeca was seething!!!!!!!! She can't take this rising slut- hmmm?( Is the pot calling the kettle black?)

Eva is in the hallway talking to the other blue dresses and they do not have any updates on Maximo- the man who framed Juan Carlos. Eva gets dramatic as only Eva can. They have an idea of where he works.

Mimi, Eva's cousin comes into the office- a LFMB moment! Vero, Cindy and Jacqui are introduced to Mimi. Eva wants to know what Mimi is doing there?

Pluto would like to promote Helena based on her ability and professionalism- Helena as his right hand - Vice President of Operations at GI. Can't wait to see Rebeca's face!!! Helena is flabbergasted. But what about other employees who have worked here longer than I and have more experience? What about Fernando?? Don't we have to consult with Adriano first? Rebeca is eavesdropping and is not a happy camper.

Mimi came to help investigate and earn a little money. She brought some rejuvenating cream for Eva.

In the bathroom Helena and Rebeca meet up Rebeca wants to know exactly what is she looking for at GI??? (It really bothers me that Rebeca calls Helena "chula". She should just call her by her name. ) Rebeca insinuates that Helena bedded Diego In order to get the contract signed and that she is no goodie two shoes. Rebeca got into Helena 's face and warned her that if she touches her she will see who the panther is. (Forget about- meow, can I hear a ROAR?)

Silvia is looking at Helena's picture and in walks Eduardo Scrooge. He asks her why is she doing her chores? She says that the house isn't the same without Helena. He says that it's better. My goodness- what does this man eat? He is incredibly mean! Then he begins to insult Helena and Silvia tries to defend her. If it weren’t for him she would be the same as Helena. (What a smart woman trying to make it in a male dominated company?) She asks him, why do you treat me so badly? He tells her not to judge him.

She asks him if he is going out and he tells her that he is and she is to have dinner ready upon his return. Helena calls to give her mom the good news about the promotion, but hears the sadness in her voice. Silvia can't take the ill treatment of her husband towards her. Helena goes home. Eduardo aka Scrooge or El Bastardo has a brief tender moment while he places Helena's picture on the shelf. (Very brief- nevertheless)

Rebeca bursts into Pluto's office- (she never knocks) and wants to know why she wasn't promoted in her loudest voice possible. (I'm not sure why no one else heard her.) Pluto lets her know that no one yells at him and that she should lower her tone and voice. Pluto reminds her about the Jacuzzi adventure and they wouldn't spend much time together if she were promoted and that he needs her for something more important. (Really?)

A blue dress (Cindy) runs down the hall- yelling here comes the boss. Adriano is on his cell making yet another booty call, he hangs up. He asks Mimi- do I know you from somewhere? Mimi is enchanted with Adriano and he briefly with her and asks him if he is an artist. He lets her know that he is in charge of this odd job- this place. Adriano tells Eva- don't invite relatives here. Mimi seems interested in Adriano and Eva says don't even dream about it, he is not your type, he only likes twenty something's.

Helena comes home and Silvia tells her how much she misses her and how Scrooge is so disrespectful to her, he hasn't touched her in awhile. Helena tells mom that she has to respect herself first; she supports her mom in whatever and has to do and to do something for herself. Go back to school; you are never too old to learn. Value yourself. You are still young and beautiful.

Antonia calls Eva letting her know that she has lost her will to live. Meanwhile Pluto and Rebeca are kissing in his office and she says that she is stupid and jealous. He makes her yell it. (Does she ever do any work? )Pluto says that she is stupid!!!

Eva rushes to Antonia's side as only Eva can.

Helena convinces her mother to go to school, like Eva who is an older more veteran woman and she got a good job at GI. Helena and her mother discuss her job and her life. She is still thinking about Juan Carlos. Mom tells her to move on. Helena has a surprise for her mom.

Eva arrives in time to Antonia's house. She is trying to commit suicide with vitamins- Eva tells Antonia " all you need is love “. Eva asked her is the affair a figment of her imagination or what? Antonia found evidence that that shameless Helena Moreno is the other woman!!!,

Coming attractions- Are Helena and Pluto lovers? Over Eva's dead body!!! No puede ser!
