Amor Bravío #44 (Uni 39) Fri 10/12/12 Wanted: One Trustworthy Right Hand Man For My Dirty Work. Tats Optional.
capítulo 44
With a shout out
to the memory of his poor, supposedly dead, preggers, and exotically Jewish
Miriam, for whom—lest we forget--our galán had converted to Judaism, we j.i.p. (join in progress) the
Mexican mishigas of the meshugges at Hacienda La Malquerida. Ximena has told la metiche de mama, Agustina,
that she’s siding with Team Alonso over blood; and as Dan has now given his
heart to the very much alive and present Camila, he and Cami have thrown
caution to the winds by pledging their bocas to besos from none but each other
forever and always, though celebrating said pledge with a round of the
horizontal Hora must needs wait till Cami’s finalized divorce papers are
firmly in her possession. L’chaim!
Across the way at
La Buenaventura, Yago (who definitely needs a wash and style about now) finds
Eliana still up and gives her a hard time about agreeing to stick around there
at the hacienda when she knows that Pablo’s going off to school soon to the
United States. Illy accuses him of
dreaming up stuff for no good reason and walks off in a huff. ( I hope this means we don’t have to FF
through any more of her scenes this episodio.)
At the same time, Luz Maria is taking a moonlight stroll in the woods near her and Pablo’s usual meeting place. Pablo (¡Qué coinkydink!) is walking through the woods near there and sees
her. He asks her to stay a moment
to explain things to him; she tells him tearfully that she has nothing more to say. Pablo asks her why she left school and gave
up her hopes and dreams, and why she’s no longer interested in her
friends. She tells him to leave it
alone. He tells her that he’ll never be
able to live without her or to forget her.
He doesn’t recognize this Luzma; he’s certain something has happened to
change her. She swears nothing has
happened. She’s just fallen in love with
another man…er…with Dios…and is going
to become a nun now. Pobre de Pablito
is a bit too smart to swallow that one whole, thank gawd, but doesn’t argue
(good boy) as she storms away back to the hacienda.
In town, Amanda
and Natalia get ready to make dinner for Rodolfo. Amanda is fishing to find out if Nat has any
special interest in the young ranch hand.
He must be a good guy from all the things Nat’s told her about him and
she hopes it might turn into a romantic relationship that ends up at the altar
and gives her a couple of grand kids. Nat
swears they’re just good friends who happen to work together and she’s only
trying to repay his attentions with a little of her own.
At the same time, Isadora and Dionisio are discussing the strange
circumstances surrounding Julan’s death and the need to get hold of his
personal things, i.e., his cell phone, the gun and his wallet/I.D., before the
cops get hold of them and find out Dio’s connected to him. No way can he give them a decent reason as to
why they know each other. Yeah, says
Isssa, it would be quite inconvenient for you to be linked to a murdered
man!” “--No, the operative word here is “we” and don’t you forget it! We’re both connected to all of this!”
Apparently Cami and Dan have been canoodling all evening and she’s now
asleep in his arms. He lays her
carefully onto her easy chair, lovingly covers her up with a blanket, and takes
an hysterical call from Dio asking what he’s found out about Julian. Nothing, lies Dan. Dio shouts orders to start looking for the
car, the phone and the gun and then to get back to him. Click!
Dan caresses Cami’s shoulders while she sleeps and thinks to himself how
sorry he is for having to hide his true identity, but that it’s been necessary.
(Rocky road ahead alert!!) He then whispers to her while she sleeps to
never ever doubt his love for her.
Outside in the drive, Alonso and Meana are flirting and flinging
themselves at each other. He’s soon to
be divorced and she gets to enjoy his charming self freely. Would she be ready to be seen in public with
him as the ex-BIL? She likes him fine,
but unless they continue to live the good life together it’s a no-go. In between slobbery smooches, Lousy Lon tells
her she’ll live like a queen if she sticks with him. (We figure the wimpy bastard’s counting on
his Mamadora successfully bumping off Cami during the festivities at the
hacienda that weekend when, as “the grieving widower”, he comes into all those
ill-gotten gains from the illegitimate will.
Yeah, he might as well let Mama do all the dirty work since she enjoys
it so much.) A moment later Dan is tiptoeing
out of Cami’s guesthouse and accidentally catches a glimpse of Xi and Lon in
mid-amante flagrante while the shlump gets a pump of his bump, and the two of
them sneak up the stairs to one or another’s bedroom for a bit of a bedtime
hump.
The next morning the bulls (Salud!) are being herded into the corral for
the day’s festivities as Cami wakes up.
She takes a whiff of D’Andres’s aftershave still clinging to her shirt
collar and tells herself she’s in luhhhhhv.
As she gets ready for her morning ablutions, she draws her bath water
and relives her passionate lip locks of the previous night (much to
Viewerville’s vicarious delight) with D’Andres--the only alpha-male worth his
salt on the hacienda and worthy of the title.
At the same time, Dan is in the shower pumping up soaping up and
giving us another fine spectacle: a set
of spectacular pectorals on display.
(¡Ay, yai, yai!) From the look on
his face, he’s remembering her the same way.…..
Cami is in a cheerful mood the next morning at breakfast and Xi asks
what’s caused the change in her. Lon
asks if it’s cuz he’s moving out. Cami
takes a bite of her bun and says caustically, “—You’re not that important,
Alonso.” With an unusual spring in her
step she goes for the keys to the townhouse.
Xi asks her again what’s up. Oh, says
Cam, it’s the day of her uncle’s tribute is all. Hissadora says a bit too
sweetly that unfortunately she and Al won’t be attending since they’ll be
moving into the townhouse she’s so graciously given them to live in. Cam plunks down the keys in front of her
soon-to-be ex-hubby and tells him to stay there as long as necessary. Komodo Dodo--the wimpy, reptilian freak--assures
her he’ll be returning them in no time at all.
Piedad comes in to fetch Cami then to speak to the police who’ve come
back.
In the kitchen Luzma “confesses” to Piedad that the reason she didn’t get
married is that she’s decided to become a nun.
Piedad is in seventh heaven. “That way you won’t have to live like I did
and no man can ever lay a hand on you or hurt you ever!” (Viewerville winces
along with Luzma at that belated sentiment.)
Meanwhile, Dan breaks into Leoncio’s room.
El licencioso de Leoncio, degenerado social y sexual desviado extraordinario, aka el pervertido de Leo, shuffles in and demands to know why the police are back. Uh, cuz there's been a dead guy found there? Piedad gives him the “news” about Luzma and he
immediately nixes the whole idea. No way
he’s ever heard anything so ridiculous!! Luzma’s not leaving to become some nun! In fact, she’s not leaving that ranch,
period. He shuffles back out the way he
came. Piedad tells Luzma not to worry;
she’ll support her in this even though her brother might be against it.
Dan starts tearing Leo’s room apart till he finds the cell and the gun
under the mattress. The gun’s still
wrapped in one of Leo’s scuzzy scarves. Leo walks in on him at that point and
demands to know what D’Andres is doing there and what he’s looking for! Dan shows him. “—This!”
Leo lunges towards him and the two fight for the gun in Dan’s hand. Luzma walks in on them and yells at Leo to
stop it and to leave D’Andres alone.
(Personally, I’d have walked away and let D’Andres make mince-meat of
the sub-human debris, but that’s just me.)
Leo lets go and covers up his bloody lip. “--That gun’s not yours!” “-- it’s not yours, either!” “—Well that’s my problem now, isn’t it!!” He threatens Dan that he’d better watch out
or he’ll be sorry he was ever born. Dan
sneers back at the bullying bastard. “—I
told you to be careful around me, Leoncio!!
You don’t know what you’re mixed up in!
We’ll just see who’s going to be the sorry one!” “—Naw, the one who doesn’t know is you! I’m
going to kill you, Gringo! You’re a dead
man walking!” Dan ignores the blowhard
and walks out of the room, alpha pheromones steaming through every sexy pore in
his lovely body and causing an epidemic of female swoons throughout all of
Viewerville. ¡Ay, yai, yai!
The comandante
of the investigation into Julian’s murder has taken command of the big leather
chair in the ranch office. (Why is it
cops always like to intimidate by taking ownership of the power seat in a
room?) He now informs Camila and Al that
it seems the dead man had 2 bullets, a .38 and a .45 caliber, lodged in his
body. No, there were not two separate
killers. One bullet was received during
a physical struggle and the other seemed to be from a final death shot [coup de
grace = death blow] to the head. There
are 53 registered old/vintage .45 caliber revolvers in the area, he continues.
The bullet that killed the deceased man, came from a .45 and one of them is in her tío's,
Daniel Diaz’s, name. Al remembers Leo
asking for a pistol from Don Daniel a few days before his wedding, and Don
Daniel loaning Leo his old .45 till Al bought him one after he returned from
his honeymoon. The comandante tells them he
knows that three of them belonged to her deceased uncle. Could she tell him where they all are? Cami asks Al to show them to him for
her. Al takes a big gulp and stares over
at the officer.
Dan now
limps off with Luzma who is worried he might have been hurt. Naw, says D’Andres, just a little fisty-cuffing.
“--I think your uncle got the worst of it.”
Good, says Luzma. This surprises
Dan who tells her he knows she didn’t exactly care for the jerk, but he didn’t
think it would make her so happy, either.
She asks why they were fighting.
“—Let’s say he took something that wasn’t his.” She says she thinks it might have had
something to do with the dead guy. Dan
asks how she made that connection [relacionar].
“—cuz the dead man was my uncle, or rather, the brother of my father,
the guy who abandoned my mom at the altar.
They were talking about it last night.”
No, nobody but Dan knows she overheard them or realizes who he really
was.
Dan asks if
this has made her sad. No, she says, her
dad is just a stranger, a guy who made her mother suffer. “—Between you and me it wouldn’t surprise me a
bit if he were mixed up in this somehow.”
“—Why do you say that?” Because,
she answers, he told her mom to keep quiet about it and not to tell a soul that
she knew the man. “--When she asked my
uncle if he was the one who killed him, he got really mean. Seems he wouldn’t have responded like that if
he had nothing to do with it! “ “--So,
you think your uncle is capable of murder?”
“—I think he’s capable of anything!
He is the wickedest and cruelest man that I’ve ever known in my whole
life!” Dan, much better at adding two
and two than Luzma’s Tío Leo, quickly adds same and gets four. He asks her if her uncle has ever done
anything bad to her. “—You need to tell
me if so.” Luzma bristles momentarily, but refuses to answer his question. “—Don’t get involved with my uncle, and don’t
go telling anybody what I just told you!”
“—We’re not talking about me; we are discussing you. What did Leoncio do to you?” Luzma’s eyes say one thing but her mouth says
something else. “—Nothing! Nothing!
My mom is waiting for me!” She
races away. Dan looks certain he was on
to something.
Inside the
main house, Cam and Al have been unable to locate one of the pistols. The cops leave and ask them to keep in
touch. Once they’re gone Cam lays into Al. “—How could you not know where that pistol
is? You’re supposed to have been my
uncle’s right hand man, the administrator of his rancho, right?” Al stops biting his nails long enough to spit
out an answer along with some shredded nail.
“—Yeah, but I wasn’t his nanny, Camilla!! His personal possessions were his
business!” “—Look, he was a very
cautious and carefully detailed man. It
has to be among his things in his office and you were in charge of his office.”
“—It could have been stolen. He
could have sold it or thrown it out.
What do I know? Puh-leeeez,
Camilia!” “—Yeah, but If he’d have given
it away he would have registered it under that person’s name; if it had been
stolen he’d have reported it, right?” “--Then
we have to look for it. Maybe it’s in
his bedroom.” No, she and her mom cleaned his room right after he died and
there was no gun in there, she insists.
“—That gun has to show up.”
Right, he says, but don’t go mixing the two thing like its disappearance
and me knowing something about that.
“--I never saw the thing in my life.
I swear I’ve never seen it!” (Beware of Pinocchio nose, Alonso!) “—It’s
most likely that the bullet that killed the man they found on this rancho came
from that pistol, Alonso!” She storms out of the room, no doubt thinking to
herself she might as well be talking to a blank wall rather than to this
specimen of useless zeta-male! Al yells
at Piedad to send her brother into his office like yesterday, already!
Outside by the
drive, D’Andres hands Cam another flower the two begin flirting and
smooching. He tells her he wants to eat
her up with kisses. She nervously
reminds him they agreed to be discreet for now.
He apologizes. More
smoochies. She wants him at the fiesta
with the rest of the workers. He tells
her he needs to go into town to get a few things, but will be back for the
fiesta like she’s told him to be. They
kiss on it.
Al demands
Leo give him back Don Daniel’s pistol or he’ll report him to the police. Leo has to finally admit he has it. Al accuses him of being the one who killed
the guy they found on the rancho. Leo says
yep, it was me. Al is
I-knew-it-was-you-impactado. (Honestly,
Al’s got to get out more and meet a few people!
Look who he’s been hangin’ with these days!) Al is incredulous as he stares into the eyes
of another stone killer like his mama and Dio.
Cam tells
the workers to get dressed up since they’re also invited to the
festivities. Rodolfo asks if Nat’s
coming. Cam tells him yep, and he even
gets to go pick up her and her mother for her.
Cam sees Piedad and Luzma on their way back into the house and tells
Luzma to get dressed in her prettiest.
Nope, she’s going to be a nun now and these sorts of things aren’t of
interest to her anymore. “--You’ve got
to be joking, right? Luzma doesn’t have
the right temperament to be a nun. She
hasn’t ever shown the slightest inclination for becoming a nun! No, I won’t hear of it. You will dress up and come to the fiesta and
that’s an order!” Cam races off and
Piedad says well, she’s got to do what the owner tells her to. Finally, Piedad thinks to ask Luzman what’s bugging
her.
Leo lies to
Al that the dead man threatened him with the pistol and said he was taking his
niece. So he shot the dude. Al says it seems strange that this guy would
want to run off with his niece.
Whatever, the cops want the gun and Leo’s going to be in a deep heap of bull
puckey if they find out. Oh, well says Leo, you won't tell anybody I have the pistol. Where I hide it, right? “See, you stay quiet about me.” “—What?”
“—I keep quiet about the priest and you keep quiet about the dead
man. A draw.” [empate=a
tie; a draw; stalemate] Al agrees. “A
draw: you don’t say a word about Padre Baldomero and my mother; I won’t say a
word about you and that guy.” Leo swears
by all that’s holy (not that he’s had much truck with anything of that sort)
and then mentions to Al that D’Andres got into his room and stole the pistol
Leo got off the dead guy.
Al wonders
if D’Andres knows he killed the guy, or saw him do the deed. Leo says maybe, he
thinks so, and may be that he also was the wise ass who called the police. “--Anyway, he forced his way in and fought me
for the pistol, took it and the little phone.” Al doesn’t think so. Leo offers to kill him. Al says no, leave him be. Don’t worry about
him. He doesn’t know anything.” “—What, now you trust him more than me?”
“—Just don’t start making demands.
You’re not exactly in any position to demand anything! And don’t start an argument with Andres! Just get rid of that pistol already!” “--Duh, okay.”
Across the
way at La Buenaventura, Mariano insists that Pablo has to go to the fiesta with
the rest of the family, no matter what.
He doesn’t want to see Luzma.
What’s the problem? “--She says
she’s going to become a nun.” Mariano
says beautiful girls like Luzma don’t usually get “the calling” from one day to
the next like that. If she said that,
it’s got to be cuz she’s running away from something. Mariano knows how much she loves Pablo cuz he
saw it in her eyes that day she came looking for him. Pablo, he advises, needs to find out what
she’s possibly running away from. Pablo
says that makes sense and agrees to play sleuth and join the rest of them.
Meanwhile,
Al calls Dio and tells him it was Leo who offed Julian, not Daniel like he
thought; that it was for personal reasons.
He had Julian’s gun and cell phone, but D’Andres stole them out of his
room; he supposed he was just following Dio’s orders. Yeah, says Dio, the guy’s efficient, but I had
no idea how efficient! Al also informs
Dio that it was Cam who cancelled the search for Daniel with the P.I. Dio blows his stack cuz here she is doing
things behind their back and they’ve got no control over her whatsoever
now. They are going to have to keep a
close eye on her, he says, and decides then that there’s nobody better than
D’Andres to do it.
Back at the
M.Q., Isssadora says her good-byes.
She’ll stay in touch and they won’t give up their close friendship. (Gag.)
Xi hopes to go with Issa to help her unpack instead of having to go to
that boring bull thingy for an old guy she really never knew. Nothin’ doin’, says Gussie. They are both going to help her sister
celebrate this great occasion!
At the same
time, Cami gets hold of Rafael to see if he got hold of Daniel for her and
explained things. Yes, he did and
they’re all set to meet the next morning at the same time and the same place as
before. She says thanks and she’ll be
there no matter what!!
Dan arrives
at Dio’s and hands him over the cellphone.
Dio is pleased and wants to know how he happened to think to look in
Leonicio’s room. Oh, he looked in
everybody’s room. After all, he was
ordered to look under every rock. Does
he have something else for Dio? Dan
hands him the wrapped up pistol. Dio
confirms it was Julian’s. Julian, he
explains, was his right hand man and if D’Andres continues the way he has, he
could become his replacement. (Now that
Hench has been rendered a gourmet meal for the M.Q.’s worm population the position
is once again open). “—That would be an
honor, señor!” In the meantime, Dio
says, he’s got two more jobs for him.
One is to find DDA and the other is to keep him informed of everything
Camila Monterde says and does, and who she sees. Secret cara de Ruh-roh de Dan.
Gussie and
Xi, meanwhile, are shopping for shoes in town, but Xi doesn’t like anything
she’s tried on. She walks outside to
look in the window at a pair she might like better. As she starts to go back inside the store she
bumps into El Bruto de Bruno. “--If it
isn’t Ximena! Ximena Diaz! My, what your friend Herminia—the girl who
stole for you--wouldn’t give, or the police in Monterrey, to know where you
are!!” Ximeana is saucer-eyed impactada
with what this jerkwad is threatening.
(Hmmm. Knowing Xi, it could be
that Bruto’s days are numbered too, now.
¡Ójalá!)

Looking forward to it Jardinera. I love it when Dan gets one over on Dionisio. I am really enjoying that the good guys are constanly in step, or one step ahead of the scheming bad guys.

Just watched the episode. I was hoping that Dan would give the gun to the police so that they would arrest Leo, but I guess that wouldn't sit well with Dion. But I'm still holding out hope that Leo will get arrested for it somehow.

ITA with all the comments about AB and how much better it is than Abismo (although I must confess I like that too!). It's so nice to watch a show where it's not bad guys: 10, good guys: 1! This one seems so much more credible than others and all the hype about Sylvia Navarro is totally deserved. She can act circles around the other leading ladies I've seen.
I really hope Leoncio gets some Karmageddon soon. Maybe Luzma will try to frame him via her newfound alliance with Daniel? Is she saying she wants to be a nun?

Luzma is telling everyone she wants to go to the convent & be a nun so she can get away from everyone:
Pablo doesn't understand, but Mariano told him that Luzma truly loves Pablo and if she's running to the convent it's because she's running away from something;
Camila knows that being a nun is a calling...you just don't have plans to marry and go to school and the next day want to be a nun;
Piedad thinks it's a great idea because in the nunnery no man will ever hurt Luzma;
Leoncio is against it because he wouldn't have easy access to rape Luzma.
Dan can take a shower on my screen anytime.

You can currently hear him (and his wife) singing the beautiful love theme in Abismo de Pasion, "Junto a Ti". A very talented group of folks in this telenovela.

There are two guns. Which one did Leo have? When Andres gave the gun to Dio, it didn't look like the gun in Alonso's memory sequence. I am sure that the double gun issue will play out some way, just not sure how.

I'm sure this will be in Jardinera's recap, but here's the deal with the guns-- The police reported to Cami and Al that Julian was shot with two different guns. Based on forensics, one shot appeared to happen during a tussle, the other shot with another gun seems to have happened after he was dead-- just to make sure he was good and dead.
I seem to remember that Leon made Julian toss his gun, as he held his own gun (really Don Daniel's) to his head. They then fought over this gun, so it's the one that went off as they struggled. Once Leon stood up, he then took the Julian's gun and shot Julian again to make sure he was dead.
The police told Cami and Al the type of guns that were used. Can't remember what they said about the more modern gun (Julian's gun), but the other gun (an older type) was rare and there were very few registered to owners in the region. While awaitng the recap, could someone please tell me if any of the dialogue among the bad guys was about framing D'Andres for the murder. When I heard his name mentioned I didn't understand enough of the dialogue to understand the context. Thanks

The police don't have either of the guns. The gun Dan foud and gave to Dio was Julian's gun. I think that Leon told Al that he buried Don Daniel's gun or hid it somewhere no one will find it. I'm sure Jardinera will have the details of that conversation. I tend to tune out Leon when he's on screen, so I didn't pay close attention.
Hi, y'all. It's now up. AFter reading the comments, I went back to clarify the conversation between Al and Leo re: the old .45. Wasn't sure about some of what Leo said and had to go over it a few times and corrected what I'd written. It's hard enough with regular conversation, but when you've got a hick from the sticks and he slurs and speaks their special inbred kind o' slang, it's a bit harder. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Oh, to clarify about the two types of guns. Julian's is a .38 semi-automatic pistol I believe, and Don Daniel's was an older, pearl-handled .45 revolver. Maybe gun experts could identify better the manufacturer, but I don't know them that well.

People realize Luzma has been traumatized (except her mother though I agree w/Vivi Piedad is in denial; consider her disturbing statement about it being good Luzma was going to the convent). Yep, ITA that Piedad is in denial and has been physically and emotionally brutalized by El Pervertido de Tío Leo. I wouldn't go as far as her being sexually abused all these years, but considering Luzma's predicament, I'd say it is a definite possibility none of us wanted to consider; and now that Luzma's of age, Leo may have thrown Piedad over for "fresher meat" so to speak. Anyone still have an apetite after reading this post?

Cathy- It's interesting to see how the writers will connect all the characters together somehow. This team of producer/director/writers are very good at this. Neither Julian nor Bruno could just be allowed to be superfluous characters with no connection to anyone. I'm happy to see Bruno torturing Xi instead of Vivi.
ViviDC: ITA that this is the best team of writers/editors whose work we've had the pleasure to view in quite a long while, especially because there are no poorly accounted for primary, secondary or tertiary characters and they've allowed that the majority of their audience does indeed have a functioning set of cerebral-based neurons. IMNSHO the multi-faceted mystery aspect of this telenovela has kept us guessing and on our toes, and it's been moving quickly from one riveting circumstance to another. This group needs to take a bow or three.

Jardinera- Glad you enjoyed the Twitcam video. I continue to be impressed by how accessible the telenovela stars make themselves to their fans, despite their grueling schedules. I mean, here they all were, just coming off of shooting scenes, and it was obviously nightime since their show was on tv. Yet, they took all this time to read and answer messages from their fans around the world, and to provide the treat of just being their silly selves with their fans. Just like the fans had just wandered into their dressing rooms to observe like flies on the wall. I know if I were them, I would just want to go to sleep or study my lines after such a long day.

RlaO: "Musheggenes" is Yiddish, not Spanish. It's the plural of a word that I would spell as "meshuggena," which means a crazy person. There is no "correct" spelling using the alphabet we're used to, since Yiddish doesn't use that alphabet--it uses Hebrew letters and is read from right to left. (That's enough to drive anyone meshugge!) The word "meshugge" or "meshugga" is an adjective that means "crazy." So a meshuggena (a crazy person) is meshugge (crazy).

RlaO- I think they play the ghetto music because it is more aligned for the paper that he's playing: a ranch worker and also his friendship/courting with Natalia, which is a little comical on her part. Maybe that's why the comical music.
And I agree with, go team Rodolfo!
Another thing, I don't know if anyone has noticed,but for being ranch workers they're the best dressed I have ever seen, including mariachi style bow tie. Oh, except for Leoncio.

They are very well dressed ranch workers. I LOVE all the men in the beautiful charro suits. Dan and Rodolfo look particularly fetching in theirs. :) I guess Don Daniel wanted all the men who worked for him (except Leon) to look as good as he did. Even Al, who goes for the Eurpean slim cut suit, looks dapper every day.
Definitely Leoncio dresses bad for being the capataz de la Malquerida. He looks like a bandido and smells bad according to Alonso.

I like SN's curly hair better. With the cut she has now, it looks like it is naturally straight, but when it's curly, it looks naturally curly. She must have a good hairdresser, although this Plain Jane 'do isn't spectacular.

RlaO- They purposely gave her a plain jane look, because the character of Camila, who's a vet, dedicated to her work, and lives in the countryside would be a no-fuss kind of gal. Renata in CME was more of a free spirit, hence the curly wild hair.

I have an issue with the whole fake will plot. I would think that someone would contest that will considering how Cam feels about Al. If Isa had that will dated for when they were first married, logically, Cam would have changed her will immediately given how she was quick to visit lawyers, etc. re: the running of the ranch and her divorce. Dan or fake Dan would contest it and Dio might even contest it, since Agustina would be her heir and if he married her, he would get his hands on her money. The signature should be easy to prove a fake. Of course, this is all moot, since our Cam is going to survive.

Yeah, looks like after a night of snogging with Andres, the headbands came out. Perhaps it's to get the hair out of her face to make smooching more convenient? :)
I'm not sure what I think about Yago. He's kind of in a grey area for me.
