Por ella soy Eva #66 10/17/12 It's a Madhouse Between Eugenia, Adriano, Angelica and Polluti
Labels: por-ella
Eva and Adriano an item. That made me laugh. I liked Mimi's reaction too, too cute. Mimi has it bad for Pluti.
Angie is going to ruin Santi with all the clothes buying and going out everynight. I don't think she really gets that poor Santi is about to be in the poor house.
So happy that Silvia passed her test. This should negate all the bad things Bastardo said to her over the years, about how stupid she is, etc. This should do alot for her self esteem.
That bbq at Daniel's was nice but there is something off with his family. I am glad Marcela is really thinking about that. I wonder if Daniel had lived in the barrio would Fern have felt t he same? I think not.
So Julie was right yesterday about Eugenia possibly going to the manicomio/home. I hope Eugenia truly gets better there. Maybe Modesto actually read the medical tests that Eva gave Modesto. That is the same doctor that Eva and Eugenia saw. I too don't think Modesto looked too upset when he brought her there.

JC at home in a robe worrying about his manicure & appalled that he is now Adri's "novia" was very funny.
I'm glad that the doc at the manicomio is the same one that did the tests -- and that he knows Eva.
There is absolutely something fishy about Daniel and his family. He apparently is in his third school in three years. I think that his mother said that the boarding school he went to last year was not the same one that he had attended the year before. I can't believe how easy it was to seduce Fernando. I hope that Daniel has less success with Jennifer.

Fern is such a dope. I too am wondering about the real story behind Daniel's family. Daniel seems nice enough though.
Hurrah for Silvia passing the test! And with a 100? She's too sweet to gloat, but I hope somehow Bastardo finds out how well she's doing on her own.
Well, now we know that Rebecca and Angelica grew up in the same neighborhood. That explains Rebecca's obsession with social status - calling everyone naco, calling subordinates mosquitos and nobodies, demanding that everyone recognize her position in the company. In a society where birth-class is everything, she's terrified that someone will realize she was born just as low class as Onesimo or Angelica.
Which makes me wonder. Probably Plutarco has the same poor background.
I wonder. Will Rebecca's background be revealed to her coworkers? Angelica certainly has the goods on her, has plenty of contacts at GI now, and has a loose mouth when she's drunk which is often.
Loved the comment about the prize that Daniel wants to give Jennifer. Hope she remembers what her mother told her.
I didn't catch Rebecca's video comment. Must be a sex tape - that's going to be interesting!
The Eugenia story has so many twists and turns. I was hating on Modesto but, as Mimi said, nothing is black and white in a relationship, so maybe he isn't as vile as I had thought. Maybe Eugenia has had some indiscretions as well.

I agreed with folks yesterday at what a good job Lucero does at portraying a conflicted Helena, who thinks a relationship with Plutarco is a good idea but just can't muster the enthusiasm for it. She told him she feels so "tranquila" when she's near him. Not a recipe for passion.
I'm glad to see that Rebeca and Angelica are from the same neighborhood. I wondered how they got to be friends... although they're seldom friendly to one another. The stuff about class is almost as interesting as the stuff about gender. I like it when our assumptions get questioned.
Boy, they're playing up Fernando to be a real fool, abandoning his principles over a nice house. More stuff about class. But I thought it was too predictable for Daniel to turn from a nice boy into a dog the minute he gets approval from Jennifer's father. It was funny when Fernando asked for a kiss from Kevin, and Daniel went to kiss him because he thought he meant him.
And yes, it was heart-warming to see Silvia get a 100 on her test.
Have a very queasy feeling about Jennifer's novio...had it even before the bbq party when he was calling her with "the plan". He seems entirely too confident. And she is so innocent. Ugh. Dad Fernando is hopeless.
Good observation about Rebecca, Paula. Explains a lot about her grasping ambition and conniving schemes.
I love it that Eva and Adriano are a couple. I hate it that Helena and Pluti are also. And I don't like Daniel and Jennifer one bit. AND I HATE MODESTO!
I had wondered why Rebeca and Angelica were friends, too. Interesting that they're from the same neighborhood. Rebe was funny talking about how she's become so much better, and unlike naca Ange doesn't say things like "chale, chido" and some other naco slang I can't remember.
Eugenia was definitely quoting A Streetcar Named Desire. I love her throwing all those lines into everyday conversation. I wish she would be more understanding and forgive JC, though. They need each other.
At the movie theater, I think Daniel was telling Jennifer that he DESERVES a prize for being such a genius - not that he was going to give her one. (And I think she looked a little uncomfortable for a moment.)
I was confused about the video comment too. If Rebeca literally has a video, it's the first I've heard of it. But what she said was something like "it wouldn't be a video fit for young audiences," - I'm wondering if that's a figure of speech, maybe an updated version of the expression "it won't be a pretty picture."
As for the barbecue: I wouldn't even bet that Daniel lives there. I wouldn't bet that think those were his parents. I'm not sure why I think this - it just seems like the kind of trick someone might play on a gullible idiot like Fernando. And there's something about Daniel that reminds me of Francisco, the grifter from Destilando Amor, who was camping out in a friend's apartment and passing it off as his own, and hired actors to be his parents when he married into the Montalvo family.
Fernanda is a fool to be so easily seduced by a nice house.
Judy- I got a bad feeling about Daniel too when he first called to maek the plan. They showed him in shadows and there was that creepy clown paiting behind him, and the music would get a bit dark when the camera would go back to him. The fact that he's changed schools (meaning kicked out) so many times makes me think he's not as nice and innocent as he's seemed so far. Putting the serious move on Jennifer in the movie theater also set off my alarm bells.
Yay Silvia!!
