Adriano sneaks up behind Eva to make a horrifying scary noise. Is rebuffed, talks about her like his pork sandwich ("quesito de puerco")
Another pep-talk for Juan (from Mimi, of ). She advises him to buck up, "squeeze 'em." He's not convinced.
Out to eat, Pluti has a surprise for Helena. He's brought in the best wedding planner in the city! We get some really scary music. He's raring to go, but when the planner starts talking locations, Helena finally nuts up enough to say it's too early to talk about such things.
Drunk chumps at a bar toasting a "lost brother."
Angelica has no interest in studying or working - she just wants to hang out. She's not gonna want kids, either... "can you imagine this amazing body getting fat carrying around some chump's baby?"
Rebeca is a barrel of monkeys in her outrageous leopard-print jammies, turning Onesimo into a worthlessly quivering lump of goo.
Fernie has been shopping - Marcela doesn't look pleased. Tools of domesticity! Then he has the nerve to ssay "enjoy your gifts!" Hey honey, here's an iron and washing machine. Have fun!
Angela looks like she might have accidentally gotten a sexy modeling job. she's okay with that!
Hehe, Juan bids Adri goodnight by phone as Eva, but refuses to send him kisses. Regardless, Adri is cute and hopeless!
Juan and Mimi are pretty darn cute sharing some product-placement-snacks. He has the idea that maybe he can clear his name, even if he can't get Helena.
Helena lets her mom know that she's really not ready to get married. Fair enough. But her outfit doesn't get a pass.
I am still confused about why Mousse boy wears a scarf. It can't be that drafty in Mexico this time of year! Also, how did he get o the board? I hate this scene where they pick Plutarco's company "Fitza."

It's Fernando and Marcela I feel most confused about. They seem to deeply love each other, but neither one has any idea about what makes the other happy. I like them but I want to jump into the television and shake the both of them.

Ezra, thanks for this great, fast recap. So Renato was spying on Rebe and Fern. Wonder how much he heard. Also I hope Lucia doesn't get grief from Santi about Angie's modeling job. Lucia did tell Angie to follow her dream, lol.
I agree with you Bill about Modesto and Eugenia. I hated the way Claudia talked to Eugenia too, Eugenia actually told her how betrayed she felt about the other woman and family and Claudia thought it was a performance. I want to slap her and tell her to wake up already, Claudia that is.
I am worried about Fern and Marcela too. Where is he getting this money to pay for all this? And just to give her a washer and an iron? What no jewels maybe, or a nice dinner out, just the two of them? They need some couples counseling.
So Adri picked Fitsa what a shame. He will greatly regret it as Pluti's planes go forward, also that "investigator" is in Pluti's pocket too according to the advances. Ugh. He needs to get caught doing something.
I think Renato wears those scarves to look cool. There is no other reason for him to wear them. I kinda liked the toast of Fern and Santi for JC and I guess now Renato makes a threesome again for them. Did Renato even drink? I know Santi and Fern did, but Renato looked like he was fake sipping.

I predict that Claudia's mission is to drive a wedge between Modesto and Eugenia so that Eugenia leaves him, so Claudia's family has him all to themselves.
Renato's scarves - I think they are somehow reflected in Claudia's headbands - they're sibblings so it's a recurring theme.

Yes, Anon 1:33, I've also noticed Rebeca's theme song (but not the pics in Adri's office). Does she sing it? I like Camil's theme song for the show. It's one of the things I've translated on lyricstranslate.com. I bought Camil's album off of amazon, although it's not quite released yet so I'm still waiting for it.

Yes ! Rebe sings her own theme song! I saw Marianne Soenne (Spelling?) sing and dance the whole number on one of the Spanish stations here in Southern California. I'm not sure if it was Hoy or Gordo y Flaca.
And now I'm wondering if the pic in Adri's office is the Dahli Lama or the. Pres of China. Why would the Dahli Lama be developing vacation and country club properties in the sacred mtns. of Tibet?
But I must say I feel so much better now digressing on these things rather than thinking of that snake Pluty stealing money from Adri and ruining Elena's great proyecto!

That is always so interesting. Ithabill: Mariana Seaone does sing La Malquerida and it is available as an mp3 as is Lucero's No Me Dejes Ir. I have not been able to find either of them on any other cd including the soon to be released Por Ella Soy Eva cd. That looks to be all Jaime Camil. I also oredered it off of Amazon. It sort of reminds me of when Montaner's Besame(the real love theme song of La Fea) was not included on the La Fea Mas Bella cd. Must be some sort of licensing thing.

Ithabill, the Emasculator is made by Mazda. Maybe that's why you can't find it! ;-) (Though the reviews I've read suggest that the Mazda3 is more powerful than most cars in its class... so Marcela could have picked a much more emasculating car if she'd wanted to!)
So did Adri actually choose Fitsa himself, or did he choose it on Helena's recommendation? (I haven't seen it yet - just wondering if she recommedned something else but Adri insisted on Fitsa, then no one will be able to blame her if it goes bad!)
