Amor Bravío #66 (Uni 61) Mon 11/19/12
Labels: bravio
I can't believe Pablo is wearing his vest over his hospital gown. jk, I haven't watched the show yet.
Thanks again!
I was impressed that Cami didn't immediately get jealous when she found a pic of Andres with a mystery woman in his desk. This is a girl secure in her man's love. But Rafa will have to explain to Cami why Andres has his laptop, since D'Andres isn't awake to tell her. Hope Rafa's good at coming up with lies on the spot.
Loved Cami sneaking in to see Andres. Andres did the same thing too when she was in the hospital, but since he's a hot guy, the nurse let him in. Can't say I blame her. :)
Poor Mariano. I could feel that knife to the heart with each word or look of love that came from Cami about Andres. But he still stuck around to support her and helped her get in to see the guy.
So much in play!
I am really enjoying the actress who plays Agustina. Her looks of confusion and wonderment at the mess she has gotten herself into are excellent. When she heard that neither daughter slept at the ranch the night before, the glimmer of insight that she had lost control in every part of her life was so well portrayed.
Luzma looks more mature and lovely in every scene and is clearly taking control of her life. That part of the disgusting Leo-rape story has been good.
Ximena in the den of thieves. She has met her matches.
On the whole, this TN is avoiding some of the most annoying TN cliches, but I guess there are some it must include. One is certainly the relative ease with which people can have access to seriously injured patients. If Camila can do it, so too could, say, Hissadora. Another cliche is the incompetence of the police. How could they be stopping cars and not look in the back seat?
I see the avances played with us again. The paper that Camila found in Andres's room was not something letting her know that he is Daniel but merely a photo of him with Miriam. (Though how he managed to have that with him after all that time in prison isn't clear.) I wonder whether she'll find anything else aside from Rafael's laptop. I don't think it will be all that hard for Rafael to come up with a reasonable explanation for why Andres has the laptop--e.g., he asked to borrow it, but apparently didn't have time to actually use it (or he did use it, using Rafael's login, which Rafael can claim to have given him).
It's hard to believe that we're only at about the half-way point in this TN. I'm wondering what else the writers have in store for us. Something with Natalia and Dionisio, I'd guess. And Yago? And I suppose Rocio's involvement with Don Daniel Monterde. Yuck--I'd have thought he'd have had better taste.
And who's going to finally kill off He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named? (I volunteer!)
I actually don't think the cops were actually looking for Leo. I think it was just a routine stop for other things-- drugs, etc. But it sure scared the bejeezus out of Leo and Dio's men.
I remember when Isadora gave Francisco the documents. But at the time I erronously assumed that after talking with D'Aaron, Francisco said "I'm gonna be rich", that implied that he no longer needed Isa. My confusion is why does Francisco think he still needs Isa? And why does D'Aaron think he's signing the documents?
Thanks for any clarification.
Xi does not know who she is dealing with. Al is a wimp but Dio and/or Isa would KILL her and think nothing of it. Hope springs eternal.
As to the photo, it was a cell phone photo taken by a private eye employed by Don Daniel. He would have printed it and included it in the envelope he gave to Padre Baldomero.
Need to go to the post office; back in a little while.
This was another great episode.
My favorite scene was another SN ad lib. When her purse got stuck on the hospital door she said to the nurse "Ve? Ni siquiera se quiere ir mi bolsa". See? Not even my purse wants to leave.
My second favorite scene was the way the ranch hands all came running up to Camila when she arrived home for word of D'Andres. She seems touched by their concern. Rodolfo loved being left in charge.
They shortchanged us on what may have been an entertaining (in a sad way) scene when Dio decided to sleep at his place. Last we he and Auggie were leaving the hospital and he was peeved Camila was staying. Did he tell Auggie to catch a cab outside the hospital? Did he dump her on the road again? Did they get back to the ranch and she kept yammering in his ear til he abruptly left?
I don't think Dio ever came home after he dumped Gussy by the side of the road.
I wanted to give Mariano a hug. That's true love right there. He loves Camila enough to help her see Andres.
Gussie is so silly for rumpling up the bedcovers so PIEDAD wouldn't judge her.
Ximena is about to be Komodo Snax. Love it!
Hissadora WAS able to access Padre Baldemero's room to do him harm but was busted by the nurse.
I thought Vivi would offer to help Camila search Andres' room, just so she could help her deal with anything odd she might find.
It's very surprising to me that the majority of the Univision/Caray viewers (or at least the viewers that comment here) love/sympathize with him. I recall during the Mexican viewing, the majority of the online audience hated the guy ... even at the stage of the show.
Augustina deserves everything that Dio dishes out to her because she is just too stupid for her own good. Any sane woman that goes through an unpleasant marriage in her lifetime; learns to be wary; mistrusting of men. But not our dear beguiled Augustina; not only she brings a sexual deviant in her daughter's home but she has the nerve to choose her man over her own flesh and bone; to me that's just unforgivable.
Myo-
Didn't see the entire ep, yet. Looking forward to seeing Luzma's scene. She's my favorite character in this TN.
Nanette
Re: the Mariano character ... LOL... too perfect! That is true so maybe that is why they have his character flaw playing out in his unpopular wardrobe.
"The Lord of Darkness is verbally rebuking his errant minion, who is being held between two henchmen of trust."
"The song in the background ends on “Tu es el hombre mas hermoso en el mundo”. We agree."
UA- Your other statement below, I fully agree with.... both in looks, height and general disposition. We can only hope that the writers detour yet again and we find out Dandres really is the product of some other handsome noble fellow. We can hope!
"Francisco hangs up and laughs. We can't quite believe that he could be Daniel's sperm donor."
I don't think Leoncerdo is long for this story. However, I think Pablo is in for some major conflict with his parents.
I keep wondering if this guy is Ximeana's daddy also, then it's going to be an interesting face off when and if Gussie runs into him again.
In addition to the silly song about Dan being the most beautiful man in the world--pardon, but we already have one, TBLMOE--I was amused by him in the blue shower cap. Did they really need it to prove he's badly wounded? And, it still gets me that these patients in comas are never protected with the bed rails up.
Juanita--I'll repeat this tomorrow in case you don't see it. The reason Camila looked so surprised at the lap top with Rafael's log in is that she doesn't know ANDRES knows Rafa. She only knows Rafa knows DANIEL.
