Caray, Caray!

This recap is not in any order. I will try to condense some, and now on to the recap.

We start this epi, with Eva having signed her shares away as a guarantee that when those 100 women are hired back, it will be fiscally viable. They have a big toast of champagne in the office. Pluti also invited everyone to his house for the remodeling that he did, after Antonia died, sort of like a second housewarming. Eva is trying to get out of it, but when she finds out Helena is going, she is going too.

JC is back as himself with Mimi and Mimi wants to know if it was wise of JC to sign those shares away the way he did, he could get in some more trouble, well JC tells her it is the best thing he could have done, to make sort of restitution for having those 100 women fired in the first place after all Antonia always wanted to hire them back too, and it is sort of a way to honor her memory.

Helena receives some nice flowers from Pluti and is very emotional. She tells Silvia every day she is more convinced that Pluti is the love/man of her life. Run Helena run, por favor!

Onesimo and Pluti are meeting at Pluti's I think and he is telling Onesimo, finally, he will get his hands on those shares of Antonia's that should have been his. He will have a plan to get those shares and when those 100 women come back to work, he will find a way to get rid of them too! As Pluti is talkin' about this he is caressing the jar of Antonia's ashes and he has the evil shit eating grin on his face. Note to Pluti: Hope that lovely Antonia haunts you foreva, jus' sayin'.



Rebe is in her office and is thinking that she hasn't found a thing to stick to Pluti about the JC fraud. She so wants to make trouble for Pluti so she gets an idea. It's ok that there is no proof of Pluti's involvement in the JC fraud, she will just have to come up with a plan to create a new fraud he is involved in. You go Rebe! She goes out of her office.

Right in the hallway of G.I. we have our favorite couple, Marcela and Fern arguing again about the car. Fern still thinks it's "her" car, she keeps insisting it is "their" car, she didn't buy it for herself. Both are being extremely obstinate, and she thinks he is insecure and selfish, and the noise is starting to draw attention, mainly Rebe, who witnesses the fight and gets an idea to cause some trouble.

Later, Rebe shows up in Fern and Marcela's office and reminds Fern he needs to give those papers to Marcela and make sure she signs them, they are needed. She makes him feel like an errand boy and he is way humilated, which is what she planned and then goes, grinning hugely, while Fern is pithed.

Santi comes to Lucia/Renato's office to apologize to Lucia for Angelica's behavior the other night. She tells him not to worry about it, and they are laughing and joking when Renato pokes his head in the door and asks if they are busy. Lucia is like of course not come in as Santi agrees with her and he goes. Well Renato, thinking of what Adri said, ask Lucia if she would like to start going out with him. Boy, she she floored, not really, she jumps into his arms and promises to make him the happiest guy in the world! Please Lucia wake up, the guy is so NOT into you! Later she is talking to Helena and says finally she has found a guy and it's Renato!

Oh, Angelica also called Rebe, I think to complain about the bill Santi got stuck with the night before, and she really needs a job. I think Rebe told her she'd see, but not sure about that.

Pluti has taken Helena to his "new" remodeled house, and it complete stalker mode comments about how he redid the whole thing, from the choices she picked out for him a couple weeks ago, from those swatches and samples, to just the way she would like it. Puzzled look on Helena's face. Ok, so now Pluti leads her to the bedroom, but no RUH ROH, he just wants to show her something, no hanky panky. When they went to the Playa he took some pics, or had someone take pics of them and they are framed and put up already on his bedside table! Not only that, but remember that wonderful painting of Antonia that used to hang on the wall? All gone now, it is Pluti' s smarmy face hanging on the wall. Does anyone have any darts? It would make a great dart board. Anyhoo, Helena thanks Pluti for showing her around but she isn't lookin' that happy. Note to Helena, this guy is a stalkerazzi, and could be worse than your Bad Dad, just go, now. Anyhoo, she stays of course cause they are having guests. Adri and Eva have arrived and there are chintzy little bites of things. Eva is way uncomfortable, and we in Viewerville all know why.

Back at Marcela and Fern's house they have come home and Marcela wants to stop the fighting and asks him to forgive her, which of course he doesn't want. So Jennifer comes out and needs some money for something and asks her Mom of course. Well Fern is pithed and goes on about how they always go to Marcela and never to him. Now I have to say here, I was feeling a little sorry for Fern at this point cause Bill was right in a way. Marcela never consulted Fern about the car, even though it was supposed to be a nice surprise, he gets no praise at work, but again if he actually worked he could go a long way. I am really beginning to think that Fern hates his job. At least Santi and Marcela actually work. Anyhoo, sorry I got off track, anyways Fern wants to know why it's always Marcela's way and not his. Marcela doesn't think he has the money, but he pulls his wallet out and gives the money to Jennifer, bypassing Marcela. Jennifer, I think doesn't think it's enough, but she takes it anyway, and goes. Fern is still pithed at Marcela and goes to bed. In the bedroom, he remembers those papers Rebe gave to him for Marcela to sign, and he pulls them out of a backpack and looks at them, maybe thinking of not giving them to Marcela, which will cause all kinds of crap for her.

Meanwhile back at Pluit's Eva is thinking of a myriad of ways to get out of there, cause she is way uncomfortable. But Helena has a one on one with Eva and apologizes to her for making her leave the apartment the other day and doesn't want them to be angry at each other. Eva is really touched by this and decides to stay after all.

Silvia and Lalito are walking down the street when a cab pulls up and it is Bad Dad he is going to the festivities too. They all arrive together at Pluti's. Later, Helena puts Lalo to bed, in the house and Bad Dad is pithed. He doesn't like it. Silvia says well Helena and Pluti are serious about their relationship, and he starts in on if she is still trying to go to school. She says she is working, it is just enough for clothes and her own necessities, but it's hers. She is still studying and Bad Dad is giving her crap about she should be home, cooking and cleaning. Well Silvia lets him have it. All her birthdays and Mother's Days she had to cook and clean what he wanted, never what she wanted to cook or do. Silvia says she always had to bow and scrape to him and now she isn't doing that anymore, she is doing things for herself. Well, Bad Dad looks at her and says she never realized that she is the amor de mi vida, his muejer! Shock and surprise there, he walks off and of course Silvia cries.

So we are back to Pluti and Helena and Eva is still trying to get out of there, when Pluti has an announcement he wants Eva to hear. So Pluti pulls out a big ole ring and asks Helena to , wait for it, marry him. Eva is very shocked and it looks like she is holding her breath. Well, Helena tells Pluti, yes of course. Que, Que What look on Eva's face, and I think she realizes that Helena is lost to JC. Eva is very sad. So what does Eva do? You'll see. Helena puts on the ring and looks kind of lost. Pluti has also hired a band and they are playing I don't know what the song is. Well, this is what Eva does. She pulls Helena aside and tells her to listen to her heart, and ask it if it truly loves Pluti. So Helena does ask her heart, and it doesn't answer the way she wants it to. Anyways, there is a toast and Eva just slams that wine down, and then glass after glass of champagne. Everyone is lookin' at Eva like she is a closet lush, lol. Oh, and when Pluti asked Helena to marry him Bad Dad and Eva were the only ones that didn't look happy. Silvia was over the moon, clapping and smiling. If she only knew. Also Eva pointed out something on the floor that Pluti had to pick up on his knees and Eva clapped about it, she got everyone else to do it too, while Pluti gave her the major stinkeye.

So now we are at Modesto's and Eugenia's house and they apparantly have just gotten home. Modesto seems to be ok with Eugenia going back to her friends in the theater, telenovelas, etc. Also Modesto is so happy she is finally realizing that JC is dead. She kind of fluffs that off. Anyway, the doorbell rings and Chepina is trying to stop the girl from coming into the room, and it is of course Claudia, Modesto's daughter. Eugenia is rolling her eyes and the girl is really a brat and informs her Papa Modesto she is staying and moving in with him. Well Modesto so isn't happy and calls Carmen, who informs him Claudia has every right to live with Modesto cause he is her Papa after all. Modesto isn't happy and Carmen mentioned something about his other son I didn't catch. Anyway, Claudia, who has that horrible wrap around head band thingy on her head, you know the ones from the sixties, is all defiant and tells Modesto, if he sends her back to Carmen, she will just run away and come right back to him. Modesto doesn't know what to do.
