Amor Bravío #79 (Uni 74) Thu 12/6/12 Amor Peligroso

Ximena keeps trying to drag info out of Alonso, but he's in the mood to talk about something else.  "You know I love you.  You helped me change my life.  You're the only person who's accepted me as I am…I can't marry you." Oopsie!  Alonso tells her that Camila told him that he had to clean up his mess before he married Ximena.  Xime is pissed that Camila is screwing up her life.  Wah!  She threatens that Alonso better not leave her standing at the altar and gives him an ultimatum…it's the (wanna be) bride's way or the highway.  Alonso says he won't leave till Daniel shows up and he can give him an accounting of everything.

Camila mourns Daniel's leaving.

Ximena sees "Andres" walking away and wonders QTH he's doing there, since he's supposed to have left Camila.

Amanda spent a sleepless night after Dio's visit.  She wishes she'd listened to Padre Anselmo, but it's too late now.  He disagrees.  "He was very clear.  If I open my mouth, Natalia's life is at risk."  Anselmo doesn't think he has the balls.  He tells Amanda to be strong and tell Natalia the truth already.  "Like it or not, he's back in your life and if you don't tell her, he will.  And he'll tell his version, which won't be good for you."

Natalia sees Yago on her way into La Buenaventura.  Yago is acting like it was just a buena aventura.  Ileana notices his behavior and asks about it, but he tells her to back off.

Mariano meets with a builder about completing his house.  It was nearly done when Ana Maria died and he stopped construction.  Ana and her puppy go to check out the upstairs.  There's a kid up there who keeps running around when her back is turned.  She finally sees him.  He admits he sleeps there because he doesn't have a house.  He begs her not to tell anyone or he'll end up in an orphanage.  Ana introduces him to the dog and agrees not to tell anyone.  She says she'll come see him later and gives him a granola bar.

Mami Not-So-Dearest (I swear, I've never bothered to learn her name…I just keep thinking of her as "that snotty bitch") whines to Nana that Nana can't understand her objections to Luzma because she's poor too.  Whatever.  Nana's got her number.  She knows she's trying to keep Pablo away from Camila and thinks it's pointless.  "Remember, he's just like his father--stubborn!  Like a good Monterde, who won't let anyone boss him around."  Nana storms out and the snotty bitch takes out a picture of herself with Don Daniel and begs him for help with "their" son.  "Make him come back home!"

Yago tries to go over paperwork with Cayetano, but he's distracted by the drama with Pablo.  Yago thinks he'll be home soon, when he realizes it's not so easy.  But he also realizes that Cayetano is actually proud of Pablo for leaving.  He whines that Pablo is Cayetano's favorite.  That he only learned to be a ranch administrator because he had an incident with a bull and was too scared to actually be around the animals, but he wanted to keep working on the ranch and earn his father's approval.  He whines that it's never going to happen and stomps off.

Dionisio comes into Alonso's bedroom.  Alonso denies that they have a deal anymore.  He knows he can't back out or he'll be the one in violation of the contract, but when it's all over he's going to sell his part and get the hell out of there.  He denies there's any deal to cut Isadora out of anything and says he doesn't want anything more to do with them.

Ximena barges into Camila's bedroom in the cabin and calls her a liar.  "You make me sick!  You have no right to tell Alonso to break up with me."  Camila says she'll thank her later.  "I don't need to you look out for me.  Besides, I don't buy it.  Your ego is bruised because he wants me and not you!  Well, your little game isn't going to work.  I'm marrying him whether you like it or not!"  Camila tells her to go on ahead and Ximena finally leaves.

Rafa asks Daniel about the goodbye with Camila.  Daniel wishes she would have asked him to stay, but she didn't.  Rafa supposes they're both feeling pretty crappy right now.  Daniel doesn't want to put her at risk staying in the cabin.  He tells Rafa that since Salomon ran off, they no longer have proof against Isadora and also, Alonso found out about him.  He doesn't trust him, but he's the tool they've got right now.  He hopes Teresa gets back from Chile with his birth certificate soon so he can claim his inheritance and fight Dionisio and Isadora head-on.

Teresa is settling into her hotel.  She talks to Padre Anselmo.  She finds it suspicious that no one could find a file and hopes she'll have better luck tomorrow.

Aaron and Vivi have an expository chat.  He's not officially free of suspicion in the matter of Leoncio's tongue-ectomy just yet.

Luzma answers the phone in the kitchen.  It's Daniel, calling to ask for a favor.  "Find my cell phone in Agustina's car."  He'll send Rafa or Vivi to pick it up from her at school.  "We'll talk later."

Natalia sees Rodolfo at La Buenaventura and is pissed he came out there looking for her.  He wants to know why she doesn't want to go out with him anymore.  She says there isn't a reason, she just doesn't want to.  She doesn't want to be his friend either.  She tells him to quit looking for her or asking other people about her.  After she leaves, Ileana comes up to offer her fake condolences.  "If I tell you something, will you swear you won't tell anyone that I'm the one who told you?"  She tells him Natalia's got a new guy.  He's taking advantage of her though.  She shows him the cell phone picture of Natalia and Yago.  She conveniently sends Rodolfo off in the direction of Yago and then gloats that she told Yago she'd get revenge on him for ratting her out.

Yago's in the arena, of all places, working on his bullfighting skills/daddy issues.  The bull actually sticks out its tongue at him at one point.  It's not the most motivated bull I've ever seen.  It gives Yago plenty of breaks.  That is one tiny, tired bull.  It gets herded back inside, leaving Rodolfo free to start the fistfight.  One of the ranch hands tries to pull them apart and gets smacked for his trouble.  He goes running and finds Mariano.

Mariano pulls Yago off of Rodolfo and demands to know QTH is going on.  Rodolfo says that Yago is taking advantage of Natalia.  Yago tries to deny it, saying he doesn't have anything going on with her, but Rodolfo says he saw them kissing.  Mariano tells Rodolfo that he'll take care of it.  Rodolfo has to give the obligatory "If she sheds one tear over you, I'll make you pay!"  Mariano is pissed that Yago went after Natalia after he warned him not to.  He's not going to take either Rodolfo or Yago's word for it--he's going to ask Natalia herself what's going on.

Alonso is wishing he'd never signed the contract.  He says Isadora's the one who should have done it.  Ximena comes in to yell at him for believing Camila when she's lying to all of them.  "She doesn't want you to marry me, but she's still carrying on with Andres even after she found out he's my brother's spy." She tells him she saw "Andres" leaving Camila's cabin earlier.  He doesn't reply and leaves the room.  Ximena follows him.

Team Good plans their next move.  Rafa gives Daniel his necklace back.  He fusses with it a bunch, trying to get it to face the right way, as they talk.  His plan is to get the birth certificate and claim the inheritance.  Rafa suggests step 2 would be asking for asylum and step 3 would be to expose Dionisio and Isadora.  Vivi worries that he'll end up having to go back to jail.  Daniel says the most important thing is for Camila to be protected.  "My love is what's giving me the strength to go on.  I don't know what I'll do when she's not around."  Aaron thinks Camila will forgive him, but Daniel says he's hurt her too much.

Dionisio wanted some quiet time with his passports, but he's interrupted.  Bruno has something important to show him.  Bruno brings in his laptop and shows Dionisio Team Good having breakfast.  He tells him he snuck into the house and planted cameras so he could spy on his ex.  He offers to install microphones as well and Dio agrees that's not a bad idea.  He wants to know what "Daniel" talks about to his team.  Dio is surprised to hear that "Andres" just showed up there after he'd escaped from the hospital several days ago.  He wonders where he's been and figures they'll find out once Bruno installs the mics.

Osvalso thinks Amanda should keep waiting to tell Natalia.  He figures Team Evil will be behind bars in a matter of weeks, and then Amanda can tell Natalia the truth without having to worry about her safety.  Amanda's not sure what to do.  Osvaldo reminds her she's not alone.  He'll be by her side if she lets him.  Amanda's down with that.

Mariano asks Natalia for the truth about her relationship with Yago.  Yago desperately begs her to tell him it's just work.  Natalia has zero poker face.  Even if she says there's nothing going on, Mariano's smart enough to know she's lying.  Natalia says Yago's telling the truth.  Mariano asks if she's sure.  Yago tells her that her "boyfriend" Rodolfo showed up and beat him up.  "But he looks worse than me right now!"  Natalia is shocked and swears Rodolfo's not her boyfriend and she told him she wanted nothing to do with him.  None of which makes any sense if there's no relationship between Natalia and Yago.  Yago tells her she'd better tell  Rodolfo to back the hell off.  He leaves and Mariano gently says that he hopes she's telling the truth because Yago's not exactly a gentleman when it comes to women.  "He's not going to return your affections or anyone else's."

Alonso goes down to Camila's cabin all worried because he, um, thought he saw Daniel leaving, yeah, that's it, and he wonders if he went back on his word and is going to turn him in.  Camila tells him not to worry--Daniel left because it wasn't safe for him to be there.  "Not that he'd wait and leave at night…noooo, he just does whatever the hell he wants to!"  Alonso's all nervous, asking how he's supposed to hand over the proof of his innocence.  Camila says when he's got something she'll track him down and all three of them will meet.  She asks him if he knows how Isadora got Salomon to do the fake power of attorney, but Alonso just says they're both creeps is all.  "She blackmailed him.  He knew he could get in trouble, so he ran away."  Alonso tells her that he also did a fake will designating Alonso as the beneficiary.  "Isadora wanted to be sure that when she killed you, the ranch would end up in my name."  "What are you talking about?  What do you mean, when she kills me?"  "She made the bull gore you."  "Your mother tried to kill me?"  Alonso says he wouldn't have believed it either, but she sure did it.  "Don't call her that again.  Call her whatever you want, but don't call her my mother.  I found out a terrible secret about her.  It's nothing to do with you, but it really hurts and I don't even want to repeat it.  It's the reason I'm going to unmask her and keep my word to Daniel…I mean Andres…I get confused."  Alonso swears he'll expose Isadora and Dionisio.

Ximena has been listening at the door and remembers comparing birthmarks with "Andres."  She realizes he's Daniel.

Camila thanks Alonso for not marrying Ximena.  She knows Ximena is pissed.  Alonso says he'd like to start all over.  Camila says it's working out, though.  "I don't think I've ever been this honest with you or with myself."  Camila doesn't know what's going on, but she sees he's changing.  "I think when you find that peace inside you, you can love and you can love yourself."  "All I have right now is anger."  "You're accepting it, though.  That's a big step."  "I was a fool for not knowing how to love you."  Alonso kisses her on the top of the head and walks out of the cabin.

Eleuterio keeps up his pursuit of the other maid.  They're interrupted by Rodolfo…needing to ice fricking everything.  He admits he got into smacks with Yago.  "He's taking advantage of Natalia!"

Yago wonders where Rodolfo would have seen him with Natalia and vows it's not over.  "I just hope Natalia doesn't open her mouth!"

Isadora sees Ximena by the fountain and demands to know what Ximena's found out about what's going on with Alonso.  "Your son is a traitor!  He broke off our engagement! And all because Camila asked him to."  Isadora says she'll make him do it.  "Oh, please, like that's going to happen.  He's completely under Camila's power now.  And he hates you!  He found out the secret you have with Salomon Morales."

Tomorrow: Ximena tells Isadora that Andres is really Daniel; Ximena and Isadora form an alliance; Team Good get their drink on to mourn the breakup of Daniel and Camila.

This feels like it's getting close to wrapping up loose ends, but we aren't getting "Ultimas" anything notices yet. That worries me.

1 audition this week...it went ok, but I don't think I got the gig. It's probably best that way. I've got my hands full with chocolates and Chorus performances. I'm amazed I actually didn't have anywhere else to be tonight. Just me and Mr. 5ft on the couch with some hard ciders and "oops" chocolates. Good times!

Oh no, I dread the alliance of Ximena and Hissadora!!!I wonder if Xi heard that Hissadora was trying to kill her sister. And she herself said that she is afraid of Hissadora and Dionisio, what happened, why is she going to connive with the snakes.
Again I choked over the goodbye scene of Camilla and Daniel/Andres. I hope that now that Camilla heard about the attempt in her life that she would learn to forgive Daniel and her loyal friends.
I also hope that Vivi would do spring cleaning of her house so she could discover the cameras.

Thanks for the recap! I started watching it. Too fast for me, so I read the recap and then watched.

I wonder if this Natalia/Yago/Mariano is setting up for a situation where Natalia is either fired or quits to avoid it and ends up working for Daddy Dio.

Same Senora Snob image that Isadora saw, wasn't it?

Cindy

Cat,

I always enjoy your clear, clean and funny recaps. Knowing Roccio's name really isn't necessary when you have the essence of her in "snotty bitch". Good luck with this season when beautiful music is so important.

New plot development: the little boy in the house. We will see where that goes and how he ends up being related to someone in the mix!

Two examples of why I love this novela: 1) the surprising and touching scene between Camila and Alonso, 2) Daniel's very believable fidgeting with the
chain and medallion that might have been cut but adds something to the scene.

"He's no Pablo," in Mariano's immortal words to Natalia, pretty much sums Yago up, even for Cayetano. I guess that Yago's story is going to become more complex, a la Alonso. But Rudolfo has to get the girl, por favor!

Good work, Kat, and break a leg.

I think it must be the same photo that Hissadora found or there would have been no reason for her to find it. That will definitely be the key to unlocking that particular secret.

Kat, we're not even at the halfway mark with this one yet. There are 165 episodes. We have a long way to go, so this new kid opens another new story. I'm wondering whom he will be related to when that reveal comes. Considering the contempt that some snobs in this story have for "bastardos" I wonder if it will be one of the Albarran men who is the sperm donor of this boy. Pablo is too young to be a suspect, but since the actor playing Yago is only 25, he may just be the one (maybe his first time ever).

I'm turning back to my original spelling of his name; he's a major jerk.

Why is Ileana's skanky ass still at La Buenaventura?

The young bull in the scene with Iago is likely just being used for practice. This is not a bull that will end up in the ring because those bulls typically do not encounter humans on foot before the corrida.

Kat- I'm glad you had a quiet evening with the hubby. It sounds like you have plenty of other stuff going on anyway. Good luck with everything and thanks for the recap.

I am glad that Cami finally knows about the Isa murder attempt (which the Scooby Gang failed to tell her about), AND the fake will, which only Isa/Al/Salomon/Dio knew about. That was a big shock for her.

Traveling Lady- I also enjoyed that scene between Cami and Al. It was even more striking because it took place in the doorway of her bedroom-- the exact spot where Al began his attempt to rape her a few weeks ago. Cami was very right in her assesment of him, the issues he needs to work out, and the need for him to learn to love himself before he can really love someone else.

But now that Isa knows Salomom likely spilled the bio-mom beans, and is getting the truth about D'Andres from Xi, I don't see her letting Al get away with going against her for long. Xi is an idiot to ally herself with Isa, instead of trying to actually get on the good side of her (real) brother.

Yago said he was a bullfighter, but then he got hurt. He's only now helping with the administration of the ranch (something he was not interested in) to gain Dad's respect and love. Seems he has Jan Brady syndrome-- the middle child who feels the oldest and the youngest get the love, attention, and respect he doesn't get. Get over it Yago! I was so glad to see Rodolfo punch him in his smug face. For once, I was pleased with something Ileana did.

Iago can't be much older than Pablo, who was born sometime after a reconciliation between Rocio and Cayetano. However, unlike Daniel, he is not the result of a reconciliation. Makes one wonder whether Iago was born during or just before a bad time in Rocio and Cayetano's marriage.

Leaving the bullring after one injury would be regarded as cowardly in that world. I also think he lacks the charisma one normally associates with matadors.

The reason the show feels to being wrapping up is because we are nearing the end of the first part that is based on "De Pura Sangre". The second part of Amor Bravio is based on original writing by Martha Carillo "En los Cuernos del Amor". We're beginning to ascend to the end of the first act. It'll be very clear once De Pura Sangre ends and Los Cuernos begins; but the storyline will remain as suspenful and high quality.

If this is considered spoilerish, please feel free to delete it. I don't think it is but some might be susceptible to the slightest advance.

Myo-

Renata- Not a spoiler at all. Glad to hear the quality and suspense will continue, even as the "remake" part of the tn ends.

urban- ITA that Yago has no bullfighter street cred if he lets one injury keep him from the ring. Do you think Rocio and Cayetano perhaps heavily influenced him not to go back after his injury? And instead of standing up to them and going after what he loves (like Pablo would do), he caved to their wishes for him to do something safer (ranch admin)?

I hope now it's crystal clear for Nati what a jerk Yago is.

"Natalia sees Yago on her way into La Buenaventura.  Yago is acting like it was just a buena aventura." Very clever, Kat!

For those who might have glossed over the joke - aventura does mean adventure, but it also often means fling or affair (aventura amorosa).

Yeah, we got a full serving of Yago and his "problems" last night - blech!

Fab recap, Kat, thanks!

I don't know. Cayetano comes off as a man who wants his sons to be macho; he seems to admire Pablo's bid for independence even if he doesn't like the reason. Mariano is the businessman of the family, Pablo is the emotional rebel, so Iago has to be the macho man. I got the vibe that Cayetano was disappointed when Iago stopped fighting bulls.

Considering all this, he will be very sad to find out that Pablo isn't his.

Good assessment of Cayetano's view of his boys Urban. Yes, it will be quite a blow when he finds out Pablo isn't his.

Many thanks, Kat, for another terrific recap. Last night everyone seemed to be racing through their lines, and I understood even less than I usually do (which is already pitiful). Hence, I found your recap not only very enjoyable but very much needed.

I see I was wrong again. I was sure the photo that Hissadora found was NOT of Señora Snob, but the photo that SS took out and spoke to last night was definitely the same. I can't imagine what would have possessed her to have a posed photo made of a man she was having an affair with, even if she thought she'd be ending her marriage. Dumb, dumb, dumb! Perhaps she's too high-class to watch telenovelas and thus doesn't realize how she's inviting peril?

It looks as if Yago's story is about to become a bit more complex, but frankly, I don't give a hoot. He's a scumbag, and I'm sorry Rodolfo didn't do more damage to the mujeriego's face and ego.

Cindy, I fear you may be right about Natalia's winding up working for Daddy Dio. What a fool she is. She and Gullible Gussy can reinforce each other as charter members of the Dio fan club. (I doubt they'll be able to recruit anyone else, however.)

I wonder when Bruno will find an opportunity to install microphones. They could do serious damage to Team Good Guys. I suspect that Daniel, with all his technical expertise, will eventually figure out what has been done, but perhaps not until after Bruno hears some disastrous revelations. Sigh.

I'm sorry to see the plot add the little orphan boy. His presence makes me fear that this TN will start including some of the stock sentimental telenovela cliches it has so far avoided. I hope I'm wrong.

I've become immune to some of the stock emotional manipulation of Televisa novelas, but not everything yet. There are very few novelas out there that are purely thought-provoking.

No Televisa novela will ever be free of situations designed to provoke emotional responses.

Ten bucks says that Mariano will adopt this boy whether he is or isn't the sperm donor.

Ana does need someone around her age to relate to. There are no other kids in this tn. ITA Urban. There will never be a tn, or any show, that doesn't use some standard storylines to move things in a certain direction or to get a certain emotional response. But when that tn also adds a scene like the one between Cami and Al last night, then I give the writers a pass. Who would have thought we'd see those two speaking like that after he tried to rape her?

I can't believe I missed adding the Dan-Miriam love theme in my music listing yesterday. It's a pretty song by Laura Pausini (who did the theme song for ENDA), called 'Jamás Abandoné'. And the Cami-Luis love theme, 'Tan Sólo Pido', by Samo.

Kat thanks so much for your recap. Glad to hear you had a relaxing evening w/your hubby and chocolate!

Xi's alliance w/Isa is a disaster. She has not only guaranteed her own death but Al's also (my opinion/guess). And all b/c she wants the upper hand on her sister. Too bad she forgot or allowed her emotions to get the better of her that Isa is will kill. Won't shed tears her selfish little Miss Xi.

In addition to the scene w/Cam and Al (and its placement), I also love how the padre is written. Except for his delusion about Luzma keeping the baby, he has been the best padre I've seen. He gives good advice (to Luzma, Gussy, Amanda, and Rocio) and will butt in when people are being stupid (Senora Snob). And though Cam is mad about being left out, her knowing about how murderous team evil is may have sent her for a loop. If only more TN priest would be like him.

Juanita -- I love your comment about Roccio's failure to watch novelas and therefore be smarter about leaving a photo of herself and lover around!

Yes, we need some serious novela watching on the part of our villains and our good guys, too. I desperately want Camila to close and lock the cabana door, for example!

Vivi -- so right. There will be cliches, but a few good scenes that are not typical and are intelligent and worthy of the characters makes such a difference.

I appreciated Renata's explanation of the two story sections and assurance that the quality is sustained.

Thanks, Kat, for another great recap.

Too funny: “Mami Not-So-Dearest (I swear, I've never bothered to learn her name…I just keep thinking of her as "that snotty bitch")”

I was a little worried when Rocio and Nana were talking. They were talking so loudly, I was sure someone (Ileana) would hear them.

I’m glad Ileana told Rodofo about Nat and Iago.

Pretty risky of Rodolfo to go after Iago seeing as how he’s a worker and Iago is an “boss”.

Smart of Os to tell Amanda that she better tell Nat first because Dio’s version won’t be kind to her. And then he tells her to wait?

Ana and the little boy—shades of MEPS—maybe they’ll grow up to be hero/heroine of a TN.

Iago is beyond snaky. What a piece of work!! I wish Nat would get it that he’s scum. And if he tries to get Rodolfo fired . . . .

Glad Mariano warned Nat about Iago, but I don’t think she’s going to listen.

I feel a little sorry for Al. He really loves Cam and he blew it big time.

Thanks, Renata, for the info.

Nanette

'working on bullfighting and daddy issues,' 'Dio wants alone time with his passports,' - very funny and apt lines!

TN device complaint: People are frequently talking about sensitive issues out loud in open rooms, and per the plot needs, somebody may or may not overhear. Now twice Xi has heard stuff through closed doors! So how can one be assured of a private conversation? Maybe that's why TN people have just learned to take their chances in living rooms and the like.

P.S. the camera and soon-to-be audio feed in Viviana's apartment are really creepy.

Nanette- It was the Padre who told Amanda to tell Nat NOW, and then Os told her to wait a little longer until the bad guys are behind bars. Considering how many more episodes we have to go, I don't think Dio will be behind bars very soon. Amanda better listen to the Padre, although I understand that Os is just trying to alleviate her fears.

Thanks 5Ft, great job as always. Everyone has already mentioned my favorite lines. And everyone has already mentioned the same observances that I had.

It seems that almost every older TN woman has a raspy smoker's voice. Rocio and Nana both sound like men.

I was so mad that Osvaldo told Amanda to not say anything to Natalia. She needs to know right now. Natalia is in on what's happening with D'Andres, so she needs to know about Dion too.

Xi aligning with Isa will be very bad. I thought Xi was scared of her after learning what Isa did, so she's really crazy to do it. Will Isa tell Dion that Dan is Andres?

Why wouldn't Bruno set up sound with the cameras? That doesn't make sense. So I'm hoping that he gets caught and the goodguys make fake plans for him to record.

I agree with all the comments about Yago. He's a slimeball and Nat is going to keep lying because he will keep stringing her along.

I also agree with Juanita? who said that she didn't like the idea of the new little boy in the story. I thought the same thing that this could potentially make this the cliched TN with orphaned boy who's mother died and the father is a rich person from the nearby estate. (Read playboy Yago)

Now that Cam knows that Isa tried to kill her, maybe she will realize that Dan was right in being concerned about her life. She better be. Or Dan will finally be mine.

Vivi: Thanks for clearing up the Amanda/Os/Padre/tell Dio confusion.

Cathyx: "Now that Cam knows that Isa tried to kill her, maybe she will realize that Dan was right in being concerned about her life. "-- I thought the same thing. I hope that will become a turning point and move her closer to reconciling with Dan.

Bruno didn't bother with the microphones because his motive for the cameras had nothing to do with El Diablo. He was looking to get his jollies off watching her.

Which is why I suggested Monday that Rafael start searching the apartment.

Here's hoping that he and Daniel can find the cameras before Bruno has a chance to install the microphones.

CathyX, I really like your idea that the Good Guys find out that Bruno has put in microphones as well as cameras and that they create false scenarios for him to record. Just imagine the fun: Xi tells Hissadora that D'Andres is Daniel; Hissadora tells Dio; Dio doesn't believe her because Bruno's recording makes it seem as if Aaron is Daniel and Dandres is Dandres. Dio decides that Hissadora is trying to mislead him, so he plots against her.

Cathyx - I was thinking the same thing about the Justice League misleading Dio once the mics are on.

Juanita - Love you double/triple crossing scenario w/team evil getting bad/wrong info.

UA - ITA that Bruno set up the cameras for watching purposes only. He's so scummy.

Juanita: love your scenario.

It does seem a little bit creepier, for some reason, having him just watching Vivi's place.

5ft - Thanks a bunch.

I'm glad the figure running through the attic turned out to be a little orphan boy, because I was afraid it was going to be a ghost that only appeared to Ana and thought "QTH?"

Agree about the Camila-Alonso scene. My favorite last night.

Amanda should listen to the Padre instead of Becerra, or my guess is Dio will get to Natalia first and she’s vulnerable now after being screwed over by Yago.

Thanks Kat for this excellent recap.
There are so many exciting irons in the fire which leaves me anticipating each recap as much if not more than the episode itself.

Although I don't expect the tn gods to let Yago off the hook for the way he mistreated Natalia, I was very happy and surprised that the scene with the bull didn't end in disaster. IMO that would have been overkill.
UA, jog my memory of the reason you refer to him as Iago? Lake??

It look like Ana has inherited her father's empathy for the poor and underpriviledged. However, I hope that she does not keep the secret of the orphaned boy from her father. I especially hope she does not secretly visit him there. (Poor fella could be "street wise").
I agree with those who feels that Mariano will end up adopting him when all comes to light. I would love to see Ana with a playmate she can relate to.

Was that a camouflage dress Hissadora was wearing? Well, she is preparing for battle.

I've gotten in line for my chance to smack Yago.

Foxy, Iago is one of the theatre's biggest villains. While pretending to be Othello's best friend he ruins the reputation of Othello's wife, leading to both of their deaths. He is the classic wolf in sheep's clothing.

Foxy, she's spelling it with an i, when an i is capitalized, it looks like an l. We think his name is short for Santiago. They call him Yago or iago.

Great recap, 5ft! Muchas gracias.

Love your microphone scenario, Juanita. Hope the writers are as clever as you are.

Urban A, great point about Iago. Not a man to be trusted for sure!

If Bruno does put in microphones, I hope the first thing that happens is that Vivi gets gassy. And then gets food poisoning. That should take care of Bruno's obsession. Probably won't happen though.

Kelly

LOL! Gross Kelly!

Kelly, that's funny. I'd like to hear that too. But usually what turns off someone like Bruno is a woman who is real aggressive and goes after him and forces him to perform. That will be a total turnoff and he'd leave her alone then. These kind of guys get off on making a woman afraid.

Urban, I'm sure you already know this, but Santiago=Saint James, the patron saint of Spain. So we could call this sleaseball "Jim", but Iago says it all.

Sorry if I've been lurking instead of commenting this past month, but I've only recently got back in town. This show is one of the best I've seen and what a team of recappers. Melinama should be proud!

Thanks all for clarifying Iago for me. Although he isn't first on my dislike list, the name fits.

Hi LXV - wave - great to hear from you! I'm glad you're enjoying this TN.

Back at you Audrey. I hope to find a little more time to comment now that I've caught up and my schedule is a bit more regular.
