Marta~~~ What a marvelous, quick recap. Loved the whole thing. So right about Cris and Angel fighting even around the rings around Saturn, lol. That was my favorite line, and about the moons, how far away is the North Star, lol.

Nil-son is on my last nerve, and I think you have a good idea about Nil-son and Cris they are both the same, jealous over nothing. I like how Anibal always puts Nil-son in his place. Like your name for Odiodette too, Odios, lol.

Poor Jean Marie and his hangover, but I have to hand it to Cris, she is quick on her feet to help out. What I didn't like was Cris giving Angel hell at work. She should save that for when they are in private, without the whole world hearing them.

So there is a mean streak in Anibal. Don't like what he did to Adriana at all. He's terrible that way.

So Nikki and Guzmi are on the way to the hacienda and Adriana is there. I hope Nikki gets to talk to her Tia, and YAY!!! That Vikki cut of Nikki's funds, car everything she hold dear. Maybe this will wake Nikki up. I know towards the beginning that Nil-son was talking to Nikki about Nikki quitting school to be a model, she never followed thru on that, just hangs around and does nothing. Hopefully this will wake her up.

Oh, and I think the little white lie that Cris told about her and Angel will come to bite her in the butt, probably thru no fault of her own.

it'll do some good to Nikki I think, and together with Guzmi on some abandoned hacienda, they might just get some development between them, I wouldn't mind some 'shots of Guzmi half naked.. :)

I smiled through every word and line: "Kendrat", "HE is not about to stay the night away from home (yeah right, how old are you again??" and "prince charming with head wound" were among my favorites.

I have to agree with the always observant Madelaine that "how many rings in Saturn, how many moons in Jupiter or how far away is the North Star" was the line of the day.

Did we know Francisco was institutionalized? How very sad. While Paula's incessant whining and crying can be grating, I felt real pain during her conversation with Felipe.

Vivi, you commented yesterday that it wasn't Paula's place to tell Cris Anibal was her father. It was up to Candelaria. I agree in theory but have to say that if Paula does tell Cris (from a place of kindness), I don't think it would be a bad thing. Cris is being deprived of knowing she has sisters and could be part of another family. I think she would go straight to Anibal and confront him! Now that's something I would like to see.

Cris's jealousy is completely unchecked at this point. And, the things that would justify such a strong emotion the "dance" and the portrait) haven't even surfaced yet. Although, it looks like she sees the Angel in all his winged glory tonight. Oh boy..

I'm still on the fence about Adriana's storyline although it does serve to remind us that Anibal has been heartless and cruel as Madelaine and irisz79 have pointed out. Just loved the way Tomasina stood up to him and spoke her mind. Vikki is so lucky to have such a wonderful, kind, caring and intelligent friend.

Poor little rich girl. Nikki will have to get a job! Not too sure what openings there are that require a "Whiny, selfish, self-centered brat"...

I think Felipe (Guzman's dad) said Guz spent time in military schools and the like, getting disciplined (and becoming a hawt bodyguard) to shut out his pain. I didn't catch that it was in the US, though. Interesting! So he must speak ingles, maybe that's why he understands Nikki so well. But where was Beatriz?

There was a scene, many episodes ago, where we got a camera shot of Guzman's graduation certificate from a Military School/Institute here in the U.S. I guess more will be revealed to us in time, along with the info about his marriage certificate.

TN4ever- To answer your comment on whether Guzmi is bilingual he is. In the beginning of this TN he was in the States talking to a friend of his in English at first then Spanish, saying he was returning to Mexico, cause his job in the States had ended. He speaks perfect English.
 

Tn4ever- Also about the Felipe/Pau convo. Felipe sent Guzmi to the States to Felipe's brother to go to that military school, Bea stayed in Mexico with her Papa Felipe.

btw, for those who haven't heard about it, there is a reality show in VH1 (two seasons done already) where filthy rich spoiled bratty girls get sent to a 'camp' where they are forced to live with only 1 suitcase and do things they never imagined to do and they were sent there by their own parents, as in the case of Nikki and Vicky, except Vicky sent her with one huge nice thing in her bag: Frankie.

Interesting Carlos.

I recall Cris having a conversation with someone (can't remember who) about rueing the fact she only had Lili. Cris is upfront and think would have reveal Lili was adopted, had that been the case.

I suspect it's Nikki and that somehow Anibal engineered her adoption by Vic and Nelson. Despite his cruelty to Adriana, I can't see him letting his granddaughter go, not knowing where she would end up. Pure speculation - no spoiler.

I am confident Vikki doesn't know as she would never have kept Nikki's identity from Adriana, knowing Adriana thought her baby died.

It may turn out to be someone we haven't met yet. Will be interesting to see.

Marta- It seems you are indeed feeling a lot better, because the recap was wonderful.

I'm glad Adriana finally looks like she's being woven into the story. It will at least be nice to see her interacting with her beloved niece at the ranch. She and Guzman are nearly the same age, so there might be some interesting interaction there too. Wouldn't it be interesting to add Adriana into the mix of the many women vying for Guzman's affections (Niki, Nabila, Lili, Polita)?

A few episodes ago when there was a discussion about Adri being sent to Europe by Anibal, I thought, oh, her missing baby has to be Niki because it's been mentioned that Vicky and Nelson were in Europe for a time while Vicky was studying art. I thought Adri had been sent to Europe to have her baby, and perhaps she and Vicky had been pregnant at the same time and Anibal engineered a switch (dead baby for live one).

Now that we know she was first sent to the hacienda, and had the baby in the hospital in the town where JA and Cris live, I have the same theory about the live-dead baby switch-- but with Cris's baby. Meaning Adri's daughter would be Lili.

Well, finally Vicki lays down the law to Nikki and insists that she go off and contemplate what she wants to do with her life. Unfortunately, I think that all she's going to contemplate is Guzmancito, but if they are going to fall in love and be an item, I think he will insist that she get her bulimia treated.

Nikki and Andriana spending time together. Wonder what the results of that will be.

I went to high school with a super spoiled girl like that. She actually did get a job...a company who needed someone to collect payment on delinquent accounts specifically wanted a demanding princessy type who didn't understand the word "no". From what I hear, she's been very successful and the company loves her.
 

Niecie- I think everyone in the family and on the staff knew Adriana was pregnant. It's just that they all think the baby died.

1. Nikki sent to Siberia!
Makes for a good story, but seems odd in light of recent events that V. would send her daughter off alone with Guzman. I realize that she trusts Guzman, but she put him in an awkward position.
In theory Nikki needs therapy -
not isolation.

2. RE the marriage, my theory is that Guzman became a U. S. citizen
and the marriage was one of convenience to help a female friend from south of the border...
however, not a very original theory.

3. Good to see "Josie" from Destilando Amor in the role of Jobina at the hacienda. DA viewers will remember her as the neighbor of Gaviota's mother (played by Ana Martín i.e. Candelaria) and the mother of Francisco de la Vega.

3. Chris said she had a lot of difficulty having Liliana and that she could not have any more children.

4. What I don't know or don't understand is whether Vicky ever kept in touch with Adriana.
If she couldn't do so when she was young, she certainly could have located her later in life with all her money and power...and also with Adriana's fame in Europe, she should have been able to locate her. I do not believe that she would knowingly adopt her sister's baby. There also has been no mention that Nikki was adopted.

5. Bea could have married at eighteen and been out of the house when mom left. At some point she went to school for some classes.

Floridia- When Adriana came back to Mexico, she was looking at pictures with her, Vicki and Niki in Paris and the pics looked recent. So Vicky and Adri are in touch, and close. It's just that Adri hasn't set foot in Mexico since she was 15. Vicky and Nicki usually go to Europe to see her.
 

So Marta, you think that Liliana is Adriana's missing daughter, Niecie reminds us of Lili's discomfort when JA is injured, we know that JA has an eye for Anibal's daughters soooo...

maybe JA is actually Lili's dad from a tryst with Adriana, Candi was working at the hospital where both Cris and Adri delivered, Cris' baby died at birth, Anibal told the Dr. to find a good home for Adri's live baby, he turned the job over to Candi... and SHAZAM!

And I haven't even opened the Baileys yet today...

Great comments everybody! The baby switch idea is awesome, although I too question the telepathy with the Angel if he's not the bio dad. I guess he could be Adriana's baby daddy; he would have been somewhat older to her 15 years, and it doesn't really seem like his style to "hit it and quit it," but hey, it's a novela and anything could happen.

Thank you for the answers to some of my earlier questions. To hear Guzman speaking English, I actually went and watched episode 1 (one of the few epis I have missed) but I didn't catch the English. But I was disturbed (unfortunately not in a good way) by how Guzman looked when he got out of the pool. He was obviously cold!

Re: Victoria's granny panties in Cristina's imaginings - maybe that was on purpose, a put-down from Cris, even if only in her dreams!

I also agree about the hacienda exile. Did Vikki like the idea of her nieto so much that she is trying to make sure it happens? Plus it was so sudden - from no discipline ever to go meditate and figure out your life, alone.

I hope Guzman doesn't fall for her sob story. She's not deserving of his love. I can't believe her.

I also agree that Paula does not deserve to be forgiven. If she never stopped thinking of her children, why didn't she at least send them Birthday or Christmas cards or gifts? She certainly had the money to do so. Or write to them. I understand her wanting to leave her husband. But her children? And now that she is alone and getting on in years, she decides she wants them in her life! Psshhh, forget it, woman.
